Scout Fleet 2-1, split off from Equestrian 2nd Fleet
A small scout fleet approached the dwarven fleet. While the Scout Fleets weapons had been activated, as what appears to be a sign of good faith, all weapons were deactivated.
A transmission was burst from the ship, in a format of 1s and 0s, if the dwarves knew how to translate 1s and 0s to actual language, the message would read as follows.

"We hail from the Equestrian Empire. All the species within in it are peaceful and we hope for good relations with your people."

Collective Contact
"Meeting is meant to estiblish official relations between the Collective and Equestrian Empire."

"We are talking. That is a relation. As a result, relations already established." The Overseer transmitted back
"Equitem reminder. Working below 94.47% of maximum individual efficiency is a punishable offence. Zero, serve, union." The cold ai voice echoed in the background of the bridge as the Overseer transmitted the menu, followed almost immediately by another such reminder "Equitem reminder. Removal of food exceeding individual ration level for supplying friends or family will result in all family rations being revoked. Food supplies are at a critical level. Trust in the TIFFD. Obey, Serve, Zero." The Overseer let out a small sigh and looked around the bridge quickly. Supplying tens of trillions on the harvest of under 16 Habitat and homeworlds? Even with the maximum efficiency they were operating at, there wasn't enough to go around...

Exploration Fleet

"Admiral, foreign fleet at twelve o'clock." said the chief petty officer.
"Is it those damn aliens again?" asked Tormek.
Admiral Tormek walked to the window of the bridge and took a closer look using his pair of old fashion binoculars.
"Negative, sir." answered the chief petty officer.
"Admiral, incoming transmission from that fleet out there. Looks like a bunch of 0s and 1s, sir. Not a clue what they are saying." said the communications officer.
"Send them a message in our language and be as peaceful as possible before we get shot at. Also, see if ya can get them to translate our language into theirs. Get the lads to their battle stations just in case, but don't activate any of the weapon systems until ya hear my command." Admiral Tormek ordered.

"We are apart of the Federated Clans of Thorum and we come in peace. We can not translate your language, so here is our alphabet. Aa Bb Cc Dd E Ff Gg Hh Ii Jj Ll Kk Mm Nn Oo Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz."

New Contact
A transmission was sent to the contact.
"That is actually not our language, it is what we refer to as machine code, a basic form of computer operation. We don't use it anymore, but we though you might be able to find the message encoded within it. The language you are using now is actually ours as well, we have met on other nation who uses this as well. We hail from the Equestrian Empire, all species within it are peaceful. We hope for good relations with your people."

Collective Contact
Steelclaws spoke up.
"Low on food? We can assist, the Equestrian Empire has a massive surplus that we be willing to donate to help the Collective as you called it. No strings attached."

The asteroid reverberated once, the entire solid body shaking for a moment whilst it hung in the endless, formless void of space. And then nothing.
It shook again as if whatever struck the rock was trying to crack it open for some unknown purpose. And then, from the shadows that so reverently retracted themselves from the dull light of the dim star that lit the system with a dusty yellow hue, a long, armoured leg extended. It was followed by a second, and a third and a fourth and a fifth, dragging a hulking beast seemingly made of intricate, interwoven plates of some unknown alloy, across the surface of the asteroid. It stopped every so often to strike the rock with it’s front-most appendages, studying the result, then moving forward to make another strike. It’s purpose was somewhat bizarre when observed for too long. But then again, that was the Cephalrrior; eternally enigmatic and unusual.
The Cephaol -Kyvallior- had taken it upon themselves to explore the region, and they were apparently looking for something. The slow turning of various bodies within the asteroid field revealed seven or eight similar creatures scouring the surfaces of their assigned asteroids, each performing the same unusual task. Between them, signals bounced in strange encoding which revealed even stranger voices. A series of clicks and low, throaty gurgles seemed to be their method of communication. it was complex and confusing, utilising an unknown number of dialects to convey an incredibly complex dialect through which the Cephaol was communicating. To them, the language was simple enough to grasp, but to other creatures in the universe… It was regarded as the most difficult language to learn; as if it were built with that function in mind. The Cephalrrior widely knew the galactic common tongue too, but never used it within their own social circles.

In unison, the Cephaol stopped it’s unusual search. They had picked up some form of signal or warning. It did not take them long to discern the nature of those who had made their presence known: Dwarves and The Equestrians. Strange creatures, to say the least. Tiny, soft and all with a great sense of self worth. Nevertheless, they were capable of achieving great things when unity was in their grasp. The Cephalrrior respected their advancements, but otherwise had made attempts to co-exist with them peacefully on the galactic scale. The Cephalrrior held no averse feelings to either side, and not wishing to provoke any unnecessary conflict, switched their communication channels to address both fleets directly after listening to their first attempts at parley.

Finally, after some quiet observation, the largest Cephalrrior present began to speak directly to the systems of both fleets, speaking in the common tongue with great depth and little haste.

“Ahro, Thorum and Equestrians,”

“We are Cephalrrior”

“Resolve your issues…”

“With peace and prosperity…”

"I don't know what to think of this transmission." said Tormek.
"Sir?" asked the chief petty officer.
"Our language is theirs as well, and we got this language from the aliens during the war. I'm hoping that this other nation that they're talking about isn't what I think it is." Tormek explained.
"Why are we using the alien language anyway, sir?" asked the chief petty officer.
"It is much easier to learn, speak, and write compared to the old language. I can vouch for that." replied Tormek.
"Are all the men at their battle stations?" asked Tormek.
"Yes, sir." said the chief petty officer.
"Good, be on the lookout for any signs of hostility. I'll see if I can send a 'diplomatic' team over their." said Tormek.

"We have a diplomatic team prepared to meet you if you should so allow us to come aboard your ship."

The Overseer shook his head "This unit has zero authorisation to authorise exogen goods entry to Collective body." He paused for a moment, before continuing "And why would the food have strings? Strings are inedible. Possible translation error detected." He turned his head towards a single Selkath unit in an envirosuit who approached and the two had a short exchange consisting of odd gurgles. Obviously the Triarii's mental ability allowing them to simply absorb the language of other beings was a great advantage in holding together one of the most diverse nation in the milky way. Negotiations with new species were laughably easy for the Collective compared to other races. Learning the aliens tongue consisted of merely seeing and finding the information inn
their head. Without this ability, it would be doubtful the Umbrae Populus would have joined. The overeer turned his head back to the viewscreens
"Apologies and sorrow. Your slang was unregistered." The Overseer tapped a few commands on the terminal and the holographic AI appeared again. The two began to speak, not in Latin, Selkatha or English, but a fourth language. This one was quicker and seemingly more simple, consisting of single syllable words strung together in a long change, with little separating the words and making it seem like one massive mess. A few moments later, the AI disappeared and the Overseer looked up "Update: Victoria reports the Primicerii minor assert permission for nutrient asset transfer to Sector white one at the transmitted coordinates. The food assets will be searched by hardpoint Nomad before passing through checkpoint Nomad and moving to TOFFD for distribution according to need and value. Collective note: The Collective gives thanks to the Equestrian Empire for their quite literally life saving donation. Personal note: This vessels crew shall likely receive full ration reward for being the vessel to have convened with you over this issue. Personal thanks issued."

"We were about mention a place for a official meeting, as we are only authorized for informal contact, but we should deal with our new friends shouldn't we?"
A transmission was sent towards the new contact.
"It is the goal of the Equestrian Empire to spread peace and harmony, and help her and her allies prosper."

Collective Contact
"Two Freighters should be arriving here shortly, carrying a 1000 tons of assorted food. We must depart know, but go forth and spread peace."
The fleet left, but two freighters arrived near the Triarian's ships, asking for coordinates as to where they should go.

The Overseer tapped a few commands and transmitted a set of coordinates that would lead to Sector White one's Central Transport Facility... Which was known to prisoners as hell in the universe, civilians as a transport hub for resources and the military as a priority facility. The place was essentially one massive space port... If space ports had prison processing facilities to either augment a being or quite literally disassemble them into parts for usage. These continued for about 8 of the 50 levels of the massive space station. The next 6 or so levels above that was a purely functional level. Generators, life support, shielding... The next 6 levels were offices and sleeping quarters, and the security nexus. Then came about 10 levels of storage area, followed by 19 levels of space port. The final level was its 'crown', a series of heavy duty teleportation devices for shifting priority goods or goods simply unable to be moved by conventional means for whatever reason
The levels identifier was slightly misleading... All the levels had sub levels and of course the interior was built without comfort in mind. Cold, dull metal covered most if the levels, with utility and efficency being prime units design. Only the offices and sleeping quarters showed any form of comfort, and even the majority of them were still bare bones.

"This has to be those damn aliens again because no one else knows about us except them. Someone find out where that bloody message came from?" said Tormek with rage.
"Unable to trace that message, sir." said the communications officer.
"Is there anyone else in the area except these two fleets?" asked Tormek.
"Negative, sir." replied the chief petty officer.
"Keep yours eyes peeled, lads. This might turn into an unpleasant expedition real fast." said Tormek.

LIV Starfire
"Woah, captain! They're projecting some sort of energy field around us... it'll deflect the radiation and particle buildup!"
"Thank the gods for that, we won't have to worry about killing a trillion people when coming out of warp this time! Alright, I want all the negative mass we've got transferred to the warp ring! Divert all plasma to RCS thrusters, keep us on a stable trajectory!"
The ship began to move forward, strangely drifting faster and faster without any exhaust as negative mass was moved into the warp ring and compacted. As it broke the lightspeed barrier a gravity lensing effect obscured the ship, while also lighting up the skies of Char with a brilliant glow, leaving behind a trail of radiation as it accelerated away from the alien world. A message was sent to the shuttle in response.
"Thank you for your energy shield, we will arrive at Lakfakalle shortly. As we appear to breath the same gases, no atmospheric conditioning will be required in the meeting room. I thank you again for the energy shield, without it the transit would take days. However, with our negative mass reserves, we will be arriving right about now. Please prepare for landing, Archmage Duck..." Fairlan's vice trailed off for a moment, then snapped right back. "Duck de Steelhorn."

As if on cue, there was a slight lurch as the negative mass in the warp ring was ejected and the ship slowed to the same speed it was at before. It was in orbit of Lakfakalle, below it the brilliant blue shell known as the Great Barrier by those trapped on both sides of it. An invisible beam of energy erupted from the bow of the Starfire, ripping a circular hole in the shell. A shuttle was launched from the Starfire, carrying Fairlan and the ship's diplomatic officer. A single message was sent from that craft to the Equestrian shuttle as it descended through the tear towards the green land below.
"Follow us, we shall lead you to the meeting hall."

LIV Challenger, Unnamed System
The Challenger dropped out of warp, spewing a massive cloud of radiation behind it as a result of the particle buildup. Of course, that was certainly better than the radiation being ejected at the bow of the vessel. Though the crew couldn't possibly detect it due to their primitive scanners being bound by the speed of light, there were three groups making contact in the asteroid belt of the system. Of course, those groups definitely knew about the Challenger, as they had just sent a radiation shockwave behind it strong enough to rip away the atmospheres of the system's planets and instantly kill all life in the system. However, the Challenger was only interested in colonizing a planet in the system, luckily for them, one of the planets happened to be suitable for habitation. They made a short warp jump to the planet, and launched the four colony pods, carrying a total of 500 people. The pods jetted into their designated geostationary orbits, then shot an anchor down to the planet. After six short minutes, those anchors impacted and the transfer of colonists down to the surface via space elevator began. The Challenger put itself into an orbit allowing for maximum defensive coverage of the colonies, as well as an easy way to change orbits to focus on the defense of one or two.

"They are beaming a transmission right at your ship, there in the asteroid field."
The Equestrian ship sends a quick message to the AIF ship, saying that there is currently diplomatic contact going on.

Lakfalle
The Equestrian shuttle landed, the first to step out was Duck, his cutie-mark being a book, and it coat was entirely blue. His mane and tail were a mess, but a crescent shaped moon was at the front of his hair. The next to step out were the 4 Alicorns in, they radiated brilliance. Each seemed perfectly suited for there bodies, they seemed perfect almost. All 4 of them, and Duck, however had strange feelings of Deja vu and felt as if they had met this Fairlan before.

Colonisation report

In an attempt to tackle the food situation, we have sent a large sum of the food received from the Equestrians with the newest colonists to be deployed, the majority being Saeva Simius farmers. They are en route to a planet just over the size of Tolrial, with a gravity of 3.81g's. The crops they have been ordered to planet should provide. A large supply of resources.
I must stress the importance of Argutus Julius work. If he succeeds, then we may be able to double our food production, which should be enough to solve our food problem and allow us to return to near normal levels.

Korimenoa-kir Seriopems Reopsadi

At that exact moment, the President rushed through the open door, without showing any deorientation from his materialisation. Wait a sec, materialisation? That means that, even though President Ioannorent (history seems to be heavily repeating itself) possessed a state-of-the-art personal jet that would enable him to arrive to Korimenoa in under 10 minutes at full Mach-4 thrust, he decided to use the experimental Organic Quantum Leaper without protective wear or waiting for the Leaper's reactors to activate -not only risking his physical condition, but also setting a third of the Capitol on a blackout. It also means that he was in extreme trouble.
And he was right. Breaking every single protocol -or any kind of President-like behaviour at all- on his part, and without giving Serohimean any time to follow his part of the protocol on a meeting with the head of the planet, he grasped the poor Korvichon from the neck and stuck him on the wall, destroying several monitors with his movement (the President was always on perfect shape, and with more strength than most Korvichai in life. This, on Korvichon anatomy, explained his deep wisdom, and his -normally- well manners. However, at such a level, it also explains his extreme outbursts in times of intense mental shocks, for which Ioannorent was known for.)
"You got a message from aliens" he whispered to him, with a slow and acidfull voice that could literally kill a race with lesser intellect capacity or more cowardice by itself, but only managed to frighten the scentist to the bone. "After so many milleniums of waiting, after our race died and resurrected, after all those time where we tried our best to repair the damages from the wars we seemed to hae been involved at, we finally learn that the myths were correct, that not only there are aliens out there, but they are advanced enough to fly through the void of space with huge military fleets. Did I get informed? No, you took the situation on your hands. You communicated with those destruction avatars, you tried to establish relationships with them. You told them so many things about us, liek they were not already dangerous enough! Didn't you think I should get informed first, bastard? DID YOU EVEN THINK THAT THE PRESIDENT SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT SUCH A THING? DID YOU, DAMN YOUR SHIT?!?!?!?!?!"
Terrified as a Korvichon could get, and strangled with force that ensured him that the President would not hesistate to kill him on the spot unless he clarified his position, Serohimean barely found the strength to say: "Let me explain, Mr. President. Things are not how they seem."
Ioannorent let the poor scientist just as suddenly as he had grasped him, letting him fall abruptly on the broken monitors. He didn't seem to care about anything he had to say, but he knew he was already on his mercy. "Very well" he said it, smiling the way Death himself would, "if you think there is anything that will save you from public execution, I would like to hear it."
Serohimean regained his consiousness as fast as he could, then started talking with an exhausted voice, that however didn't show even a glimpse of fear anymore. "Things are much more complicated than they have told you they are, President. It seems the myths are not only real, but more specific than we could ever predict they are.
Now Ioannorent showed some tiny interest. "What do you mean by that?"
"The aliens have communicated with us in Latin, sir. From my thorough education on alien mythology, I have positively identified they are descendants of the ancient Earth Alliance, which is said to have helped us triumph in the first place. They also seem to understand both our language and ancient Greek, and also identify us as a piece of their own myths. They also seemed eager to re-establish an infrastructure of alliance with us, and gave us their planet's coordinates, while we didn't. They also promised us complete immunity and defense from external threats as soon as we enter the atmoshpere. We would obtain our former legacy if we allied with them once again, President. A relationship that lasted for so many millenia is not something we should ignore."
Now the President had replaced his rage with intrique and real shock on his eyes. "Can I see the communication record?"
"Of course, Mr. President" said Serohimena confidently, opening the comms history on the remaining monitor network.
"Hmmm, it's actually a very good course of action. You even seemed to offer them some false information! I think I should apologise to you officially, Serohimean. You've established a better future for you, son. However, I want to have complete personal control of comms with them aliens for now, if you agree with that."
Serohimean could not explain how easily the President's attitude was changed, but he did not want to really pick on the subject, either. "That's obvious, sir. You have full control of comms. I can assist you on any technical difficulties, though, if you would like me to."
"Oh, and something else, sir" he whispered to him afterwards. "If those aliens possess the hardware I think they do, I think they have already connected on the network. They most likely overheard our... conversation, so try to be honest to them."
The President was shocked to hear that, but he knew he was right. After reactivating comms and setting it to broadcast the conversation to the whole world, he finally talked, with a voice with enough calmness, self-management and officiality to remind everyone why he was one of the most successful presidents in the history of the Children of the Phoenix.
"I, Ioannorent Piloremis, President of the Children of the Phoenix, welcome the people of Lakfakalle, descendants of the Earth Empire, the ancient superpower that, even on our days, continues nfluencing and inspiring our people, who even today aknowledge the extreme benefits our society has acquired from you back then. It was an alliance we were not only honored to participate to, but also one we're still honored to talk about. Apart from that, though, it is also an alliance we will be honored to reparticipate to now, after millenia of us trying to regain what we lost when the galactic wars almost crashed the universe, but barely hurt our relationships, and the respect we hold for your nation.
Right now, a diplomatic fleet is prepared for materialisation near the coordinates given by your personnel, which will contain me and my elite diplomats. We will be more than willing to stablish once more our relationships, that we hope that have remained unchanged despite almost everything else having changed completely. President Ioannorent, over and out."
Then, he turned over to Serohimean. "FInd the coward who is crying like a baby behind the door and tell him I thank him for informing me on the situation, and order the Quantum Represion Facility to calibrate the system to the coordinates of Lakfakalle under my command. Tell them Operation Treehouse and they will understand."
He smiled, this time with no cruelty in that smile. "After you're finished, go home and pack your stuff."
Serohimean feared the worst. "Am I exorcised, sir?" he said, with real terror on his face.
"Of course not, Serohimean. You're coming with me."

LIV Challenger
The Challenger sent a message to the Equestrian vessel, the video feed showed an Abh captain with a serious look on her face.
"This is Captain Laitparh Bausec Laicchynr Haidiss of the Lakfakalle Interstellar Vessel Challenger. We just colonized the fourth world from this system's star, so we believe it would be appropriate to 'meet the neighbors'. As such, we are requesting permission to join you."

Lakfakalle
Fairlan looked at the Equestrian group, and he couldn't help but feel like he knew them. As he took off his piloting helmet, he gave a curious look to the Archmage. The Equestrians had mentioned magic in their contact with the Triarians, perhaps the energy had some sort of adverse effect on Delphans. He remembered the dream he had the day of the launch, the creature in the mirror. Had she been an Equestrian?
"Welcome to Lakfakalle, in your language the name of this world means 'Companion of the Sun'. I would be wearing diplomatic robes, but those aren't comfortable in the high g-forces experienced while landing one of our shuttles, so I apologize for my garments." He said, gesturing to the grey jumpsuit he was wearing. "Come with me, I'll bring you to our leaders, then I can go and put on something more formal and less embarrassing. Like a clown suit."
He led the group into the building, opening the door to reveal the excessively gold-covered interior of the meeting hall. Standing in front of them were the four leaders, and there was some sort of aquatic creature visible through the glass walls, wearing a garment in the same style as the other leaders. They each bowed, and the aquatic creature clicked and circled vertically.
"Welcome to Lakfakalle." Said the Abh among them, who was wearing what appeared to be a formal military uniform. "I am Empress Aicryac Üémh Tlyzr Naurh, you can call me Ekuryua. I represent the Abh Empire, I do hope we can forge good relations here."
"I am President Jinto Lynn." Said the Human in the group. "I represent the Democratic Human Republic."
"My name is Conduit Aweyta Olok, I represent the Hyacintho Mental Collective." Said the Delphan.
A clicking came from the tank in the walls, and after a few moments it was translated into English.
"My interspecies designation is Moko, I am the Followed One of the Interplanetary Aquatic Dolphin Tribe. It is pleasing to make contact with your people." It became obvious that the one speaking was the aquatic creature.
The Boskop and Ehtra'Hirel diplomats stepped up at the same time, and bowed once more.
"We represent the Progenitor Cooperative." They said in tandem, having no idea of the ancient meaning of their name.

Jinto turned to Emily and Fairlan, all of whom appeared embarrassed.
"Ah... please go and put on something more suitable for public display. We have diplomatic robes stored away, if you can't find them you can put on whatever you want, just please don't wear a M.I.S.S. to a diplomatic meeting."
"We didn't have any specialized g suit-"
"Go and change! Now! You can give me excuses later!"
The two walked out of the room, once they exited into the hallway their steps became much faster as they prayed to the stars that the Equestrians didn't know what a M.I.S.S. was.
"Now, what is it that you wish to discuss?" Said Ekuryua

Shuroh
The food situation on Shuroh has become dire, rationing has begun and its entire complement of defense ships have been dispatched to pick up seeds, cattle, and food from Lakfakalle. Meanwhile, on the planet's surface, the Navy has begun hunting the aquatic animals native to the planet for meat. Submarines are seen towing the dead bodies of whale-like creatures to the underwater cities in surreal scenes, the sickly green blood of the once majestic creatures spilling out into the water. Despite all this, without the supplies needed for agriculture, the colonies there will starve and leave behind devastated swaths of ocean as their only legacy.

Somewhere Far Away But Not Too Far To Be Detected
The Reality-Fabric, the shortened version of the fabric of reality and space, which is basically everything, rippled as it was disturbed, and a giant ship emerged from the sudden disturbance. The ship itself would normally be called a space station, though a very large one, because of its shape. It was very long, and somewhat narrow, extending well over a hundred kilometers in length. The reason why it resembles a space station is because of what is 3/4ths of the way to the forward section: a giant disk. The disk's center was centered along the center of mass of the ship, and the disk radiated out from the ship, giving it a circle-shape if looking directly from the front or back, and giving it a sword-facing-backwards shape when looking at it from any side. No thrusters or any kind of propulsion could be sighted: just a dark grey armored hull, dotted with domes, antenna, glowing cylinders, various extensions out of the hole that look like the entrance or exit of a hangar or bay of some kind, and in many places, large turrets with four stubby barrels. In other places, there were identical turrets, except that they were just domes, and presumed to be laser turrets.

No contact was made with any of the nearby detected anomalies and contacts, but the ship pulsed, twice every minute, that made going undetected virtually impossible.

Dwarves Contact
"Follow the coordinates we are transmitting to you now. For reasons we will explain when we meet you, that location is actually where you will be escorted, our space has adverse effects on the navigation systems of other nations, but as long as you follow our ships when you arrive there you will be fine."

The Equestrians ships noticed the new contact, wondering why they were acting so odd. A few signals of blankness were beeped to see how they would respond.

Lakfalle Cooperative Meeting
"Princess Celestia, it is nice to see we are not alone." spoke Celestia.
"Princess Luna, Greetings" said Luna
"Princess Cadence, let us hope for good relations." spoke Cadence.
"Princess Twilight, so nice to meet you!" said excitedly Twilight.
"High Archmage Duck de Steelhorn, your people are quite friendly, I respect that." greeted Duck.
As each one spoke in turn they also placed a hoof over there chest, and bowed there head. Celestia step forth, and while it was obvious that each of the 4 Princesses acted as leaders of the Equestrians and had equal power, Celestia seemed to take over as the figurehead.

"There are several things we like to negotiate about. Including trade routes with your people, and a defensive pact. While I have no doubt there are other friendly nations out there, is is best to tred carefully. Also have you been experiencing Deja vu? All 5 of have ever since meeting and hearing about your people." spoke Celestia.

Response to Equestrian Comms Blip
The moment the signal sent out, another signal came in, using the same encryption, broadcast type, and code, as if the same type of machinery was producing the signal in response, even though this was first-contact. After the Equestrian signal had been repeated, another signal came in, with the same language, the same accent as the Equestrians, the same everything, really, as if they were communicating with another Equestrian ship.

"Experiencing Deja Vu? Oh what fun this is, to watch it all happen again. I remember your ancestors, little ponies, oh how large they had grown. Larger than you could ever imagine. The humans, too, and their Dolphins and Abh. We're not entirely sure about those Dwarves, or whomever they are, as they must not of been large enough to warrant enough of our attention.

You and the humans, on the other hand, are very interesting, to see the exact path followed all over again. Now, may we speak to the four Princesses, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight? Oh, and that High Archmage, ah, what was his name... High Archmage, Duck de Steelhorn. Ridiculous name, but it must be the norm with you, since your kind has had the exact same names since your Faust popped you into existence.
