Galactic Announcement

"Attention, please. As a direct result of recent occurrences and the success of an organised approach from a third body institution, the Collective proposes the creation of a seperate Body for the creation and administration of interstellar laws, specifically regarding neutral space and the legal means by which one may begin a war and annex another powers lands, in addition to the settling of disputes between powers in a fair and unbiased manner through an assembly of said body. It's branches would include those responsible for the creation and legislation of international/insterstellar laws, in addition to a body for settling violent disputes, a body for settling non-violent disputes and a section for the enforcement of produced laws with maximum efficiency. This body would include representatives from any nation willing to cooperate. Polling shall now begin on nation opinions and suggestions for implementation"

"Given the threat of Extra-Universal invaders and the onset pirate threat, we of Sazkarjhia, also believe that a separate, umbrella intergalactic legislature should be instated. Given the nature of those who threaten our existence, we believe that we can help contribute to the administration and protection of those under the administration. Since this debacle in Equestrian Space, we believe that rather than infiltrate or illegally operate with the imposition of our own administration, we can agree on and collaborate to find solutions to help the greater good. Given Sazkarjhit soldiers' maximum combat efficiency, we believe that we can help in legislature, but also in administration and code enforcement."

"Due to the current situation, the Lakfakalle Cooperative Federation believes that such a body must be established. If the plan goes through, we fully agree to assist in the creation of intergalactic laws and the enforcement thereof. Due to the recent occurrences in Equestrian space, combined with the extra-universal threat, the proposed body should be created as quickly as possible, preferably with a meeting location and/or base. We suggest that such a base be kept well out of areas with low space-time integrity due to the invasion, ruling out Triarius, Lakfakalle, and Equiis. Perhaps an underdeveloped system such as Nikolien."

Sol System, Pluto
A tiny flash of light appeared above Pluto, and a vessel surrounded with a rainbow-colored space time bubble emerged from it. The bubble faded away to reveal a small scout ship, which quickly fired a communications probe through the brilliant blue rift. After a few short moments, a transparent blue circle appeared just behind the scout ship, as large as Pluto itself. Thousands upon thousands of ships exited the portal, causing almost splash-like disturbances across it's surface. After the last ship entered the system, ten gigantic missiles emerged from the portal. They dwarfed the frigates of the fleet, and made a beeline for the blue-green result of magical and scientific terraforming that was Pluto. As they impacted, mushroom clouds appeared on the surface of Pluto, so large that the entire invasion fleet could be contained in a single one.

Red beams of energy were fired out of every ship in the fleet, the combined power of them along with the giant missiles completely destroying the dwarf planet. Nothing more than a few asteroids remained of it, a sight eerily similar to that of Earth's destruction. The turreted beams cannons of the vessels returned to their forward-facing state as their engines flared red, complimenting the sickly green of each ship's hull. A force specifically designed to be unstoppable, and unstoppable it was. Not once had an Imperial invasion fleet been defeated, especially not one from Terra. The fleet's commander watched from the bridge of his white-hulled command ship, wondering just why his illustrious fleet had been sent to deal with a single galaxy. Nevertheless, he was loyal till the end and honor-bound to carry out his orders, even though they seemed illogical.

"All ships, ahead 0.2c. Recycle deflector shields and recharge positron cannons. This system is inhabited only by a primitive interplanetary civilization, destroy the homeworld, the rest falls immediately. We will waste no time on gas collection platforms or colonies, we head directly for the third planet." He said into his microphone, his monotone voice showing complete boredom at the task. After all, his fleet should be putting down intergalactic rebellions, not conquering a singe galaxy inhabited by pitiful and clueless creatures.

Sol System, Asteroid Belt
Fairlan felt a surge of information from the rest of the Delphan Collective as they hastily reconnected him, giving no respect to the fact that he was trying to sleep. While they stated they would do so a long time ago, he knew it was purely to get others to trust him. He and Emily knew that, they weren't willing to let the secrets they still held into the hands of one who would be tempted to give them away (though they had given him limited vision of the paths the future could take). As such, he never expected to feel the strange enlightenment of the Collective. Interestingly, he could not hear the thoughts of anyone else, only receive directed messages. It seems the situation was not so terrible that they would resort to allowing him full connection. It was a single second before he was disconnected, but the intellects of a billion Delphans had imprinted just one word into his mind that resonated like a ceremonial gong in an Abh temple.

Imperials

He jumped out of bed and threw open the door to his quarters using his natural psychic powers. Bolting out of the room as face as his legs could carry him, he picked up a wireless microphone from an intercom console. Switching from one console's wireless relay to another as he ran, the microphone was hastily set for a shipwide broadcast by Fairlan.

"All crew, battlestations!" He yelled, holding the microphone with one hand and throwing on his bulletproof combat vest. He would have put on his armor, but there was no time and little purpose. "Launch Pelias! Gunnery crews, prepare for sustained streamer and shield breaker fire! Switch shield breakers to type twelve focusing, prepare to release targeting probes!"

As the crew carried out his commands, he took a shortcut to the bridge through the zero-g hangar, Pelia fighters taking off with electromagnetic pulses all around him. Finally reaching the bridge, he floated up to the command tower. Emily got out of the Captain's chair and into the XO's chair, allowing Fairlan to sit down in his own chair. The rest of the bridge crew frantically typed on their keyboards and yelled into their microphones, relaying orders and giving commands to the system themselves. Fairlan threw his microphone off the tower, leaving it to float until the battle was over. He picked up the inter-ship communications microphone from his chair and spoke into it after making sure it was set for a system wide broadcast.

"This is Admiral Fairlan Miklan of the Imperial Star Forces, Lakfakalle Cooperative Federation! Extra-universal forces have arrived in this system, all Star Forces warships are ordered to launch fighters and take point in front of the Equestrian fleet! Position all turreted weapons forwards and charge Variable Pulse Lances to maximum strength! Equestrian vessels are requested to fall in with Star Forces warships and prepare for long-range bombardment of approaching enemy fleet!"

Pelia fighters flooded out of the Lakfakalle warships, and their turrets returned to forward positions. They fell into formation, and Fairlan couldn't help but smile at how the fleet looked from the bridge. All the ships were in a horizontal formation, turrets facing forwards with the Variable Pulse Lances glowing blue while charging. The ships proudly flew towards the Equestrian fleet, ready to join them in battle.

Just like in the propaganda.

The warships moved in front of the Equestrian fleet, their broadside weapons unlocking and emerging from the hull. They all swiveled to face forwards, taking advantage of their staggered placement. The moment the enemy fleet came within their effective aiming range, their ships would be ripped to shreds by shield breaker and antiproton fire.

"Open torpedo tubes!" Yelled Fairlan

"Torpedo tubes open, Admiral!" Responded the weapon officer

"All ships, fire torpedoes!"

Every Lakfakalle warship let loose a barrage of torpedoes, streaking towards the enemy ships while leaving behind blue trails of plasma. The fighters and warships waited patiently for the Equestrians to respond, monitoring the torpedoes and preparing to take manual control of them in order to engage evasive maneuvers. Seeing the gigantic enemy fleet on the radar, every crew member was filled with a sense of dread. Could they really win this battle like Fairlan had said? Could even their ships stand up against such a large fleet?

Real Space, Sol System

Without orders the Chaos Warpack immediately engaged the incoming imperial vessels.

The darkness of the void was illuminated as Lance fire streaked towards the imperial armada.

The Nightfall, flagship of the Chaos Warpack bristled with Macrocannons a weapon of immense proportions capable of launching Massive shell at incredibly speeds and distances. Over 1000 of the deadly cannons adorned it's hull.

Markus Finch uttered a single command "Unleash."

And it was so

The Nightfall spewed a broadside that deafened a number of its crew.

Smaller Chaos craft maneuvered below the plain of battle preparing to board the enemy vessels.

Superheated plasma arched across the field in a brilliant spectacle of destruction and color.

Warp Space, Sol

Untold legions of warp creatures flocked to the battle.

The liquid black ball in real space expanded and seemed to press outwards slightly as if something was going to burst forth. But just as quickly as it had bulged it diminished to near nothingness.

Warp activity in system was now spiking for anyone with the technology to read it.

Equestrian: Concordat Terms
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE CONCORDAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE ANY COMMENTS OR SIGNING. The concordat verifies that both parties, the Concordee (Equestrian) and the Concorder (Ktaroch Empire) legally recognizes each other as sovereign nations and is thus subject to the herein terms of the treaty. Any violation of the Concordat is subject to legal action, and if needed, complete breakage of the treaty. If the Concordee does not agree to the terms of the document, any reasonable changes may be suggested, or decide to abandon signing the Concordat altogether.

1. CONNECTION DEVELOPMENT: A post-signing meeting must be held in order to further enhance connections between the Concorder and the Concordee and let the treaty not simply be recognition of each other. Discussed in this are trade, travel, military assistance, etc.

2. PEACE: Neither party may conduct hostile military force on each other, unless Term # 3 demands an equal loss for the initiating party.

3. RESPONSIBILITY: Both the Concordee and the Concorder are responsible for any actions done to the other party, be it beneficial, hostile or simply unlawful. In a hostile case, eye for an eye, tooth for tooth (equal losses for both sides), unless the Concordat should be broken altogether. If both sides has then given the punishment of equal loss, the Concordat's stability under Term # 4 goes back to normal

4. BREAKAGE: A group of skilled researcher diplomats, from both parties, can determine if the Concordat is on the verge of breakage due to multiple violations of the terms included herein. Once the Group considers the Concordat "broken", all the terms here are considered null and void, and the Group disbands.

The Battle for Sol
The Equestrian forces gathered up with the LCF forces, and immediately unleashed a storm of weapons. Balefire and lasers, missiles and rail-guns, it all flew in a huge storm at the on-coming Imperial Fleet. The many anti-proton defense platforms that were deployed activated, and unleashed hell upon the Imperial ships. Whether this battle was futile or not, it was obvious that the Equestrian's would fight for every last inch of ground.

"We shall not let Sol fall! For the free and peaceful peoples of this galaxy we shall defeat the Imperials here! For the Equestrian Empire! For Lakafalle! For the Collective! For Sazkarjhia! For the Ktaroch Empire! For Faust!"

The void rang with those lines. Lines that inspired every soldier, officer, and civilian in Sol to fight down to the last. This battle was either do or die, it would decide the fate of this universe, possibly the fate of the multiverse. Many would die today to see the Imperials defeated, to prove that they were undefeated, to prevent them from blowing out the lives of the trillions of innocents scattered across the galaxy. Whether this battle would see future peace for the entire milky way is debatable, maybe it was see a new age of unity for the many differing nations of the MWG, or maybe it would once again spark the conflicts that so many were trying to fan away.

Collective flagship, deep space

"Praelatus meus, the automated turrets have engaged the Imperial forces, their ships have materialised within some of the debris, given the tight packed formation of their forces we estimated massive casualties and damage through their fleet. I shall activate the mines"
"Affirmed, have you prepared the trap?"
"They are charging now Praelatus meus, I know we'll get it done. What if there are allied forces causes caught within the trap?"
"They will be irrelevant. Continue charging, prepare the fleet, sphere formation."
"We wont be entering Sol, praelatus meus?"
"Negative, we shall remain outside the battlefield"

Sol

The mines turned towards the ships and began to zip towards them, while the turrets opened fire, their shields raised. Four strange automated stations had not opened fire, though energy signatures around them slowly rose. Their design was strange, and their turrets slowly turned to aim at the imperial flagship, while a small section of the stations all rotated to point away from the system."

Galactic announcement

"Advise, a neutral area of deep space be chosen for its base. Sazkarjhit proposition is noted, and we believe it should be seriously considered at the point of the first meeting. Advise: This meeting be held once the Imperial threat is removed. The Collective can begin construction of an adequate space station immediately, with an adaptable configuration so that it may be expanded once the organisation of the Body has been designed. Do any currently involved nations have an objection to the use of deep space or an objection to the Collective beginning construction on a station?"

The Battle of Sol
Massive swirling black-and-blue masses were ripped in space as six massive Sazkarhit warfleets came into Sol from Slipspace. They quickly met up with the Equestrian and LCF fleets as Sazkarjhit plasma and missile barrages were launched from the larger frigates and cruisers. 50 Trikolo-Class destroyers formed lines in front of the Sazkarjhit fleets, perpendicular to the invaders with several rows of coilguns extending from bow to stern charging. They all fired simultaneously, releasing a hellish storm of eight-meter ferrotunsgten slugs.

The flagship of the combined fleet, the Marku-Class cruiser PNS Sepulture of the Damned fired three nuclear ARC rounds and a barrage from thirty plasma throwers as Samani-Class Prowlers unleashed their own nuclear payloads. Sepulture's Fleetmaster realized that fission weapons wouldn't be the most effective alone, but en masse they'd be able to at least achieve something. He also ordered the forty-or-so Pulsar-Class electronic warfare destroyers to move forward and project EMP's.

The ships peeled away their hulls to reveal the spinning electromagnet beneath each ship's glasslike shield, and the spinning of them began to increase. The shields glowed a bright blue before the many collective waves were sent out, creating a wall of scrambling electromagnetic pulses.

Many of the ships also began deploying squadrons of Basilisk-Class fighter bombers, whose plasma throwers and missile launchers were alight as thousands of munitions were launched from the Sazkarjhit fleet.

Galactic Announcement
"The Lakfakalle Cooperative Federation suggests the halfway point between the Kalle and Nikolien systems as the location for this central construction. There is a large debris field there, so you wouldn't have to ship in any materials. Plus, there is a large, somewhat intact ship there that could be used as a station. Besides, don't you think the center of galactic civilization should have some character to it? This debris field was obviously the site of a major battle, to have it turned into the center of galactic peace is somewhat poetic, is it not? Plus, we can easily bring in defense platforms from Lakfakalle there. Our trade lanes do not intersect with it, as our drives operate in real space, so it is not within our self-claimed territory. Oh, there's a problem. We don't have a standard system for the recognition of territory, that should be discussed in the first meeting as well."

Sol System
The Imperials seemed surprised at the resistance, as they had assumed that there would be none at Sol. Warhead after warhead hit their shields, the entire barrage only managed to take out a few ships. They were instantly replaced by reserve vessels, so there was no telling how many casualties they took. The ships continued to advance, holding their fire for quite come time until they were almost at the defensive lines. having been pelted by long-range bombardment, their fleet had taken heavy losses (by Milky Way standards). However, every ship that they lost was just replaced with another one.

Finally, they opened fire. Positron bolts smashed into the defending vessels, ripping into their shields. The Destroyers proved to have good targeting systems, many taking out fighters in a single attempt. The EMPs had no effect on the weapons or engines of the enemy, but they did seem to disperse their shields somewhat, allowing even a fighter to take down one of them. Apparently, they relied heavily on all-purpose shields. Probably to cut back on weight, their interuniversal transportation system may require more energy to transport more mass.

"All equipped starships, the enemy fleet is now within streamer range!" The massage came from the Starfire. "Open fire immediately!"

The weapon ports of the LCF warships began to glow orange, before releasing the beam-like streams of antiprotons that had become so familiar to the citizens of the Federation. The streams cut the unshielded enemy warships straight in half with a single sweep, but simply pinged off the shields. Sensor probes transmitted shield frequency information back to the LCF warships, which then tuned their shield breakers to the corresponding frequency and fired. Green lines streaked out of the shield breaker turret housings, smashing into the enemy shields and breaking them like a glass on a concrete floor.

The Battle for Sol
Rather then spread there fire out amongst the Imperial ships, the Equestrian's focused fire on one at a time, including there deployed defensive platforms, and once the shield of a ship fell stealthed bombers came in and unleashed a wave of balefire bombs. It seems defeating the Imperials would be easier then thought. It would still be a difficult battle, but they were not as invulnerable as they first seemed.

And there target after taking out a few of the larger ships fire was focused on the flagship of the fleet. Storms of balefire were unleashed, as experimental Nightingales came in added to the rain of anti-proton fire. Bombers and fighters unleashed hell upon the flagship. The Equestrians may be peaceful, but they have a fury and determination in battle like no other.

Real Space, Sol
Although the Chaos fleet had felt a moderate amount of damage it was obvious that many of their ships were grossly unprepared for this kind of combat. 5 of their craft had already been destroyed, while another 5 were all but useless from the amount if damage they had taken.

The Red Corsairs fired some form of missile from their ships large enough to fit several men inside. The missiles punctured the Imperial hulls releasing. To the horror of the awaiting imperial crews Traitor marines poured fourth from the pods and began shredding all imperials in sight. Weather they took the ship was not relevant.

Profane symbols were left throughout the ship further weakening the space within Sol. As cultist across the system took up an impossibly loud chant broadcasting across all Vox Relays.

The time had come to unleash the full fury of the Warp upon the Sol system.

Warp Space, Sol
The liquid in real space expanded to the size of a cruiser and was now actively bulging.

The countless entities pressed against real space.

It seemed the bulge would burst at any moment under its current pressure.

Deep space, Collective Flagship

"Praelatus meus, automated systems from Sol report spike in warp energy, we are detecting a new form of Exogen energy." The officer reported, panic in his voice "They will u..."
"No!" The Fleet Master said, clenching his fists tight and his eyes beginning to glow "They shall prevent our trap! Fire the beams, get me that flagship now!"
"They aren't charged! We wont be able to recover more than half the opponents ship at best, and-"
"Half is better than nothing, Officer, activate them! Detonate all other defenses, tell NP to prepare for emergency reception, get stasis field ready!"
"Affirmed, activating turrets... Now."

Sol
As the Collectives defences detonate, the unique turrets began to fire their stream. The same sort of beam used by the collector drones, it was designed to slowly teleport the flagship, molecule by molecule, to a secure facility at an alarming rate. The massive hanger their flagship is was being teleported too had a stasis field active, ensuring than the Imperial crew nor their ship could do anything to the station. It seemed the Collective had not yet given up on their plan of capturing an Imperial Flagship intact, whatever the cost... Making such a large scale version of the material gathering beam was certainly not cheap, the rare materials involved must have been astronomical to say the least, and now it had been thrown into overdrive, barely being 50% charged. The fleet master was determined that he would beat Chaos to the punch, and take the ship before they could do any damage to it. He had heard enough from command to estimate that Chaos would either tear the ship apart or turn it into one of their own, and neither was desirable.
The greenish yellow beams scathed across the black of space towards the enemy flagship, the crew of the Collective vessels watching the video feed with their breath held, awaiting the results of the endeavour...

Battle of Sol
The Equestrians stopped there fire for a minute, seemingly seeing how to react to the Triarian's beams, however the front of the Equestrian fleet was soon a storm of Green and Orange, the fleet unleashed every last single balefire megaspell equipped on the fleet. It was heading for the Imperial Flagship, ready to devour it and turn it into nothing.

The balefire megaspells impacted the Imperial flagship in a great explosion, as the balefire spread across the Imperial Fleet.

Collective Flagship, Deep Space

"Imperial flagship destroyed. Nova prospekt reports two percent ship recovery." The officer reported, the Fleet Master screeched, before yelling out
"Stupid four legged beasts!" He spat, then watched the view screens "All personnel, gone, all intelligence, gone, all technology, gone! Have these primitive fools never heard of adaptation? Maybe they should try it when they gain hands!"
"Praelatus meus, the charging Chaos attack shall likely effect all parties in system."
"Good, may they burn in a thousand hells."
"Equestrian personnel aboard the ship may be important to Equestrian state interests. In regards to their already... Volatile and primitive nature, removing some of their key personnel is unlikely to fix this. Advise demanding Equestrian flagship withdrawal. The other ships are irrelevant." The Fleet Master sighed, pressing the transmit button

Message to the Equestrian flagship
"As you just ruined our best chance of defending the universe, I suggest you engage whatever brain cells you have in their thick skull and kindly give Chaos a wide berth lest they destroy you. Relying on Faust or your trickery to protect you would be an enormous mistake."

Flagship

The Fleet Master turned his head toward the Defence officer again "There is good genetic material on the planets that will likely not enjoy eternal torment. Turn the defences on the planet and beam as many of the individuals on the planets to NP. I don't care whether they are military, civilian or government, get them off the planet ASAP, their defences are no longer required. Any materials we acquire can be considered payment for the saving of their soldiers lives from whatever the demons have planned."

Sol

The beams turned slowly towards the Abh planet, before opening fire on the planet rather than the Imperial ships, firing their green yellow beams down and seemingly completely ignoring the Imperials.

The Imperial flagship and its fleet was completely destroyed by the combined attack, causing the portal to fluctuate and close. Apparently, the flagship generated it. Meanwhile, the turrets abducting human and Abh citizens from Mars were allowed to continue, the inhabitants knowing what was happening. Every defense platform was pointed at the Chaos buildup, charging for a massive shot. Knowing the Triarians could handle Mars, the Starfire sent out a message across the system.

"When I said we would win that battle, it wasn't meant to encourage. I was being perfectly literal, there is no path in which we lost that battle. Another one begins over another world, and a victory at that battle will mean the end of this short war. All ships that are willing to comply! Chart a course for Equiis, as fast as your drives can take you!"

Equiis Orbit
Another portal opened above Equiis, and a relatively small fleet of ships exited it. However, their size made up for their numbers. There were a hundred heavy cruisers, escorting a gigantic, dagger-shaped starship bristling with weaponry. A single message was sent to the world below, showing only slightly more mercy than normal.

"This is Emperor Fergus McClain of the Earth Empire, you will surrender your nation and by extension this galaxy to us immediately or else it will be wiped from existence."

"We will never surrender to you. Every last man, woman, and child will fight you. Your actions are counter to our beliefs, For the Equestrian Empire!"

The many many defenses of Equiis engaged the Imperial Fleet. Stations around Equiis, on there moon, and defenses hidden in other planets and moons across the system. The fire rained, intent on destroying Fergus, ending the Imperial Nightmare. When Fergus and Emily's fleet arrived in Equiis however they found themselves teleported elsewhere, far from the battle.

Elsewhere
Like last time they had seen Faust they seemed to be floating in space, beneath them however they could see Equiis, and the battle going on. Faust sat there discussing with Urania and Duck de Steelhorn. Urania had a long silver blade, with a perfect sapphire gem embedded in the handle of it. She wore chain-mail. Also near the 3 was a man sitting in a old wooden chair, several chains bounding him with his head hanging low. To Fairlan he seemed familiar...
