Sol

Many Sazkarjhit warships, especially the Trikolos at the front of the line, bubbled and melted under the fire, and finally blossomed into fire as their reactors overheated and collapsed. The remaining destroyers dodged behind large Fleet-Sized Class-C Shield Ships, which projected large mauve shields over the fleets. One-way force fields that'd allow Sazkarjhit and allied munitions to pass through.

Two very heavily-shielded remote-guided Rakora-Class assault ships packed to the brim full of explosives suddenly launched forward from the fleet. Their payload bays and decks full of nuclear munitions, with engines set to Wartime Emergency Burn (126.3% full burn) while booster rockets gave them additional speed. The combined explosions once they reached their targets would prove catastrophic.

Once they got within range of the enemy fleet, their hulls melting away from fire and shields taking heavy hits, they detonated simultaneously, creating gargantuan blooming fireballs and sending a thunderous shockwave and cloud of radioactive dust in all directions. The shockwave was dispersed across the Class-C's shields while the radiation wore at it slightly, however it soon recovered to full strength.

Fairlan was suddenly filled with hatred at the sight of the bound man, his teeth clenched at the very thought of him. He instinctively reached for his standard-issue naval pistol, pouting it at the man for reasons he himself could not understand. Barely managing to keep himself from pulling the trigger, his hand shook constantly, will alone keeping him from killing the man right there. He spoke with intense anger, enough hatred to make a thousand men go on a rampage pouring out with every word he spoke.

"Murderer!" He screamed "You... you monster! You are unfit for the name of my clan!"

He had no idea what he was talking about, but he kept speaking anyways.

"You killed millions in cold blood, and for what? To place the inferior species on the throne of the universe! Do you even know what would have happened? Trillions of innocent lives would have been lost, all because of human incompetence and stupidity! We had finally learned our place! We accepted it with open arms, we were all willing to bow to our betters before you betrayed us!"

He stood there, looking confused after speaking. He collected himself, then continued.

"HS-01. That is your full name... it is all you deserve!" Fairlan threw down the pistol and approached the man, clenching his hands into fists. "You are no monster, you're not even worthy of being called alive! YOU WERE NEVER MY BROTHER!"

He punched the man right in the nose, and blood started to flow down his face. Urania looked on, a tiny hint of a vengeful smile on her face. Her eyes, however, were stone cold and devoid of any feeling towards the man, as if he didn't even exist. Fairlan flashed a smile sharp as a dagger, a smile Urania remembered well. Strangely, another crewmember from engineering also remembered it. Once one saw it, it was as if the smile etched itself into their mind, never to be purged even through death. The smile was forever unchanging, every atom fell into place perfectly to create a menacing smile similar to that of the Abh Death Stare. Only once before had that smile been worn on a face, and the intent of the wearer was to destroy their own species.

Urania remembered everything, and recognized the engineer in the crowd of Lakfakalle personnel. She made a mental note that her ancient debt was still owed, and turned to Faust.

"That was unexpected." Was all she said.

"Agreed Urania." spoke Faust. Faust then walked towards Fairlan.

"Fairlan, I understand your rage at...HS-01 but he is needed. I managed to decipher another part of the prophecy I found while wondering the multiverse. The 5 that will fight your evil counterpart are you, of course, Emily, Duck de Steelhorn, Urania, and... Robert. He can see into Imperial Fergus's mind, he can understand his way of thinking, his emotions and strategies. He is needed to fight him.'

Faust now turned to Robert, who had been hurt by the attack. Blood leaked from both his nose and mouth after the assault. Robert seemed to be trying to speak, barely uttering in a low tone sorry.

"Fairlan, if it makes you feel better he truly regrets his actions, and he has seen the deepest whole of the Underworld I can find, a punishment reserved for few. I think the greatest punishment for him however, was to see your reaction to him."

Transmission to the Imperial Forces

"We have been fighting off threats for so long. It is by our actions alone an ancient threat from another universe was saw off from even this little fragment. But this universe is dying, darkness has fallen across it and with more and more threats arriving, this universes story is coming to a sharp end. Allow us to strike an accord, we are the most dangerous threat to your expansion in this universe, you would waste many ships trying to depose us and would gain very little. You would merely be wasting your lives and resources.
However, if you simply share the technology required for universal travel, then we will join you and become a protectorate of your Empire, adding even more majesty to the Imperial throne, or we will simply go our own way and leave you to do what you please with this universe. The choice is yours."

Collective Flagship, Deep Space

"Stand by for orders, get the fleet into formation and prepare for jump."
"Understood"
"Request High Command send Onus to NP, allied individuals in need of transfer, location will be determined shortly, after communications with the Equestrians. Prepare to interceed the Imperial Forces in Equiis if we do not receive conflicting orders."
"Praelatus Meus, scans report Tear #2552 has closed, your home system is safe." An Officer reported, and a small smile flashed over the fleet masters face
"Thank you, Officer, that news puts my emotions to rest"
"Of Course, My Commander. Alert, receiving word from High Command... They are attempting to bargain with the Imperials, they intend to double cross them once they receive the technology and send target seeking explosives through into the Imperial Home Universe. They expect this will deter any and all future invasions of this universe."
"Excellent, with some luck this will be the last universal invasion we are thrust into in a long while, the galactic community requires a strong basis, which is of course difficult with exogens invading at every chance."

SCNOSE NAVAL RETREAT DISPATCH 0124A5

SCNOSE MILITARY IDENTIFIER: SFM MAGAMA'YUM, DARAYA
IDENTIFIER SER.: S0924
DISPATCH SUBJECT: RETREAT

All remaining ships are to flee SOL SYSTEM and return to SCNOSE NAVAL REFIT STATION 001 above SAZKAR MAJOR, BARSADAS SYSTEM. The enemy has overwhelmed us. I understand in SAZKARJHIA we stand to to fight off any threat and we do not back down no matter what...but if we continue any longer, our most powerful assault fleets will be completely annihilated. The battle is a lost cause, sailors; SOL is gone.

We need to regroup at SCNOSE NAVAL REFIT STATION 001 for repairs and for debrief. It was a tough battle with heavy losses, and as a result all of your men need some shore leave. May the Gods take care of those who lost their lives fighting for what was right.

May our trials be fruitful in the future,
Supreme Fleetmaster Magama'yum

Triarian Message
"Any form of independence impedes the Great Mission. Your people will be enslaved or destroyed. We not not negotiate, we have no mercy. In most universes we come across, your people are just like us. The only freedom is in the escape from reincarnation, and only through elimination of hostility or dying for a just cause can allow one to escape. I shall provide that just death for all beings! Never again will the multiverse be tainted by the ability to oppress! We will be freed from the cycle, thank us, for we save you from existence!"

"Anyone will apologize a thousand times in the most sincere way possible if they are brought down." Said Fairlan "But the moment they are set free, they return to who they were before. Only the best people can change." Hearing Robert and Faust's words, his antennae folded to the side slightly, the Delphan sign of sadness. It seemed as though he had been genuinely hurt by the idea that he had made Robert feel bad. He tried his best not to show it, turning his watery eyes away and hiding his antennae by scratching his head.

"L-let's just get whatever this is over with." He said in a complete monotone, a tone that Urania and the engineer once again recognized.

"Fergus, Fergus, Fergus. You never did learn that lesson did you?" Thought Urania "Eh. Totally worth it for that fifty-four thousand year old joke."

"You need to strike now Fairlan. I recommend two teams, Duck and Urania heading for the core, the ship will need to be destroyed before you can leave, and you, Emily, and Robert heading for Fergus. You will leave now." Faust spoke these words as her horn glew. The 5 appeared on the ship, together. Robert was no longer injured now and seemed to be equipped in a old AIF uniform, as well as having a small anti-proton pistol strapped to his side.

"You mistake death for an escape rather than a doorway to something word, I promise you your dead admiral is wishing she was alive and in our possession, for her soul is in the hands for the dark Gods of Chaos. Certain species possess this "Soul" like aspect... Yours is among them. This means that using death to escape is a logical fallacy. Bringing all sentients into a single entity is a better way to provide an escape than killing them all, hence why slavery is the more logical choice then simply destruction. Death is no escape, slavery is temporary, unity is forever. Existence needs no escape, existence is your eternity, existence is today and your future. We thank you for your intentions, but scold you for the logical failings of your argument. Unite with us and together we shall apply a logical philosophical argument to our expansion in the multiverse, your current one is defunct, unless your a privy to information we are not, in which case we would like you to present it to us."

Flagship, deep space

"Negotiations are faltering. We shall prepare to enter system and assist. The Emperor is void of logic, it seems. Prepare all weapons for attacks on the Imperial ships, prepare boarding teams, we shall take out as many of their ships as possible."

Meeting
The setting for the Embassy, which includes a council meeting chamber, security and diplomat dormitories, and document storage drives have been all set up. The diplomats have already been escorted into the meeting chamber, and guards have been set up at post both inside the Peace Station and in orbit of the venue.

Currently, the Equestrian representatives are now being waited upon.

Imperial Flagship
Fairlan found himself wearing armor similar to that of the LCF marines, but it was slightly different. The urban camo on it looked like the LCF forest camo, but grey. In the place of the Imperial Star Forces flag, there was an image of some kind of bird holding a quiver of arrows in one talon and a branch of some sort in the other. it's head was turned towards the quiver. He held an assault rifle in his hands, an inscription identifying it as personal property. Fairlan felt a sense of déjà vu holding the weapon, as if he had used it before in the exact same situation.

"He's comin' 'round the corner Fergus, get yer shot ready"

He had no idea where the sound was coming from, but it had an intense drawl. Looking down at his weapon, Fairlan suddenly knew what he was doing. He raised it into an alert position. Looking over at Robert, he flashed a confident smile, his eyes glowing a radiant purple.

"Rob, Emily." He said "We all began as humans. Humanity evolved from pools of amino acids on a backwater world that was never meant to harbor life. No human was ever created by a god or goddess, no human was ever given guidance by a higher being. We have a goddess, but the one time she interfered it resulted in the deaths of millions and the systematic oppression of a billion people who thought they were free to choose. Did we give up and accept our world? No. We changed it! With poetry and speeches, with bullets and blood, we changed it! When we took to the stars, we reshaped them to be a better place! Us! A random collection of molecules! Now, we have the chance to save all life, with barely any cost! The Triarians hail themselves as heroes of the universe, we will be hailed by all as heroes of the multiverse!"

He lifted his weapon above hid head with one hand, and cried out.

"WE! WILL! SUCCEED!"

Collective flagship

"Praelatus Meus Non-Exogen life forms detected upon Imperial flagships, they shall likely kill the personnel on board" An officer reported, and the fleet master rose, turning and slowly leaving the bridge, ranting and apparently having temporarily broken down. A Saeva Simius, 88909, renowned for his aggression, impulsiveness and disregard for all life, took the chair as per the Fleet Masters contingency instructions
"All ships jump into system, prepare all weapons. Today they shall know fear"

Equiis

The Collective ships appeared in system, two ships drifting around the perimeter of the nearest sun. They all opened fire on the Imperial ships, which two cargoships launched themselves forwards and self destructed on either side of the flagship, the dark energy expanding with the energy it consumed from the flagships shields and later the flagship its self, likely resulting in massive destruction.
This would only be compounded with all the weaponry which fired next, thousands of hardlight cannons, hundreds of energy projectors and well over a dozen dark energy casters all let loose on the Imperial flagship

"Negative, they have denied us our goal, we shall deny them theirs. The other imperial ships shall be destroyed shortly, I have created a plan for such."
"Unacceptable, we are not on their level."
"No, you are not on their level. I am. "
"Your people are integrated fully into the Collective, they receive rights other client species do not. Do not risk that status, do not make us regret our decision to allow Saeva Simius to hold Higher Command positions, would you rather that it lie exclusively with the Triarii again?"
"If it means I am able to do this, yes."

Despite all attempts the Collective ships were blocked from entering the system. The problem was that the energy being used to do so was more then anything the Equestrian's were able to put out. It was probably obvious to the Collective who was doing it...

"I'm sorry, but I cannot let you through. This is the Equestrians and LCF's fight, and it is likely you will either harm the Equestrians or otherwise interrupt there plans in some way"

Equiis transitional space

The Overseer of the third group grinned and tapped a button, speaking
"But this is not your universe, Faust. You are in our world now. And these are our rules. The only way to prevent us entering Equiis is to strength the barrier, by doing so you subsequently destabilize the energy feeding into the tears opening, thus forcing the storms into our universe. Look around us. All these will be bigger by a scale of several quadrillion in our universe. And if you remove them, you break the conservation of energy and thus break all laws of physics. In addition, we are most dissatisfaction with your repeated intrusion, you are treading a very thin line. I should think you would be a little smarter than that."

Collective Space, Triarius

"Praelatus Meus, Incoming extra universal signatures, we are detecting..." The ships appeared on the view screen in their thousands, and he stared on "In the name of..."
A transmission began to play
"We are the Collective. We are the Universal Union. Brothers, allow us to dock. Talk with us Parem Habui, we are one and the same."

((Fail, it was supposed to end the universal drive bullshit by completely denying universal travel. Actually wait to see how things play out or maybe ask? -.-))

((Also, this is a massive deus ex machina, so please be quiet. Faust is the biggest affront to fair play in this RP, so to blow stuff up without even asking 'whats going on' is absolutely ridiculous. You have currently pulled the bigger deus ex machina, even if I did use this to create universal travel, it would be a smaller deus ex machina (and debateably so, since we know universal travel is possible, that there are other collectives, and that for every failure of the collective in this universe there has been a success in the other universe), than what you have just done. You have literally stopped an entire fleet because of the entire god thing, which is quite literally a god from the machine. To save the heroes, you literally pulled god. Seriously, duck? That is your answer to everything, to have this unstoppable failsafe in your back pocket -.-))

"Faust, we are locked in the transitional phase, if you are strengthing the barrier then yes, the tears will be forced through one side or another of the universal boundry, you and I are BOTH inside this transitional section, we are applying pressure to the universe and you are holding the barrier up, eventually the strain will become too great and the universal barrier will collapse. Either we will all be killed by storms before you can achieve this, or this will happen and then we will all be killed by storms. And Faust, you are in that figure, as are your Equestrians. The threat is posed to all parties involved from extra universal travel, you are threatening to break the secondary/primary boundary... Why don't yu just stay out of mortal matters? You show so much ignorance of logic and so much disregard for life and safety that it would be better for all parties that you just let things play out, but instead you insist on dabbling and..."
"Enough!" Came the cry of 88909 "Horsie, come out and play, I'll tear off your creations legs and beat them go a pulp with the bloody end! We have no time for delays, not from high command, not from you, not from anyone. So get out of the way or I'll destroy the Equestrian worlds and serve their children up as snacks! Hara-Ka is the biggest and the strongest"
"88909, restrain your emotional reactions and personal political views."
"Denied, keep quiet"
"This one obeys."

Collective meets Collective

The figures stood on either side of the holotable as it whirled to life, displaying a Collective logo. The other Collective began to talk
"Statement: The greater good dictates that we unite into one all serving universal model".
"Response: Whatever the greater good demands, we shall do." There was a pause from the UU representative, as he looked towards the view screens, giving a puzzled look before continuing
"Inquiry: You have not yet obtained the mantle, why is this?"
"Extra-Universal invasion and the interruption of an Extra-Dimensional entity blocks any attempt to reach the level of ascension and take the mantle. Inquiry: Why are you not ascended?"
"Response: Ascension is not the end, nor is it currently either of our immediate futures. Our time is not yet up. Notice: We have accepted you into the universal union, attach yourself to High Command." The figure passed a small data chip over, which the Supreme commander slipped into the holotable
"Statement: Deployed to overwatch, we shall become attached to high command to await our instructions."
"Notification: Report current status on socio-economic standing"
"Response: We are overpopulated, request emergency movement of part of our people to a separate universe. Request inter-universal drive"
"Problem: Both requests are granted, however inter-universal travel is now impossible. The barriers are being strengthened as we speak, your universe is suffering hole after hole after hole, we are reducing this. Only universes accessed from this universe within the past 24 hours shall remain accessible. All others shall be cut off. Enough space for a single trip to another universe remains. After that, it will take life times for the barrier to reduce its self to a state ready for inter universal travel."
In unison, hearts sank and the next voice was somewhat dismayed
"Request reasoning?"
"Repeated universal invasion, in addition to other... activities has resulted in a situation where you are in danger of collision. We have corrected this. Communication with those outside the universal is possible, but actual travel of any large object or large amount of energy shall be impossible. As a result, you will be safe from the interruption of further Imperial Attacks."
"Request further information"
"Part of our fleet shall remain to reinforce you, collectivization must occur to the point where you dominate the galaxy. We expect this by the time we are able to reach you once more. We have brought with us something to deal with your extra-dimensional problem, though the bulk of military and economic"
"We shall continue collectivisation talks over nourishment, request you follow."
"Affirmed, this one shall follow"

Lakfakalle, Kalle System
Admiral Spoor looked out into the cold, black space. It no longer had any planets to decorate it, just the far away stars that the Children of Lakfakalle once roamed freely. New starships floated inside the construction docks at the station, tiny worker bee craft assembling their hulls. Warships jumped in and out of orbit, bringing in recovered Ceramus wreckage from Nikolien to be melted down and used for new warships. Freighters streamed in, carrying newly collected sublight fuel from the remains of Hyphelia.

"Admiral, the remains of Hyphelia are thinning." Said her second in command, Keloush. "Our fleet will be deprived of sublight propellant by mid 32 Post-Starfire unless we find a new fuel source. Our negative energy supplies are fully depleted, as the production facilities were configured to operate using gases from Hyphelia. Once our ships are out of negative energy, FTL travel and communications will be impossible."

The Abh continent came into view, city lights shining brightly through the smog. Spoor frowned at the sight, though thirty years was nothing for a child of Lakfakalle, it seemed to be like a century for the rest of nature. When the Starfire left, the continent was a shining jewel. Now it was an industrial hell. Smokestacks rose out of very city, fueling the rapid development of space. Even after the supernova, they kept on launching columns of smoke into the air for the sake of building unneeded products, knowing no other way to live. Pure development had distracted them from technological progress, trapping them in their primitive purgatory.

"Keloush, I'm giving you command of the new ship."

"New ship, Admiral?"

"The Yamadai Star Battleship. My own design." She flashed an Abh death stare, confirming that "Star Battleship" was no misnomer. "Ten antiproton streamers capable of firing antimatter shells, four banks of argon plasma interception turrets, a fighter wing capable of taking down a fully-crewed Freidsmekalre-Class Carrier alone, and a new kind of Antiproton weapon taken from that ancient warship at the halfway between Kalle and Nikolien."

"Why me? You explicitly called me 'boring' at our last battle!"

"Boring as you may be, you're a good commander. I've assembled the best crew out of all our personnel. Mostly Abh and common humans. One Loroi managed to get in, apparently she's a good pilot. You'll do good work."

Collective flagship, Bridge

"88909, we have received new directives. We are to abandon system and return to Triarius immediately."
"I do not care if this order came from the Supreme Overlord himself, we..."
"As a matter of fact it did. All ships must return to Triarius immediately"
"But the imperial threat-"
"Is irrelevant. Let the Equestrians waste their lives defending their system, we have more important tasks"
"The LCF aboard the flagship, they..."
"Are irrelevant. The ship will destroy its self rather than face capture, anything else they achieve is worthless"
"The Imperial Emperor is in that ship! Without him..."
"His relevance is near zero. Whether he lives or dies his empire will endure until crushed, whether he lives or dies, extra dimensionals will still keep invading, unless we return to Triarius." 88909 paused before grudgingly nodding
"Set the course. Call in Fausts latest violation"

Triarius, Collectivisation

The Primicerii major sat around the... 'table', with the UU representative. On the table sat an alien assembly of food, from strange reddish vegetables to what seemed to be lava in holes across the table, and across the table was strewn a massive pterodactyl like bird, cooked and beheaded. Over food, they talked of the pending unification, exchanging details of their power and stratagem for universal collectivism. Beings and robots to deliver food to the tables. These beings were from the lower kyn, and came from any number of the species of the Collective.
"Autonomy would be maintained somewhat, you would have devolved powers to control this universe."
"Understandable. What of those who have been overly resistant to our collectivization so far? The Equestrian Empire namely"
"They must be eradicated, along with their deity."
"We knew their government form and goddess must be destroyed, what we meant was how? It's-"
"No. They just be destroyed, their entire race. Their clinging to outdated systems merely proves their inferiority and pathetic nature, and their magic poses an innate threat to the Greater Good. They are filth, we must grind them into dust and scrape them as excrement from our boots" The UU representative ranted, somewhat taking the Primicerii off guard and darkening the atmosphere of the meeting
"But surely we must teach them, wasting their abilities is-" One of the Primicerii began, only to be cut off agaun
"From what we have heard from you and seen across the stars, their entire filthy race is a blight upon sentients. We are to claim the mantle, we are to be the almighty race, not them. We are above all others, not them. They are screaming filthy demons, they're only good when dead." The UU representative spat, cursing their name under his breath. Whatever encounters the UU had with some alternate universe Equestrians has obviously ended in a lot of bad blood
"But-"
"There is no questioning the word of the Primicerii, the Equestrians are a dangerous pox, like a pox they must be cured." The room fell silent, before the Primicerii slowly nodded, not wanting to waste their chance at creating a universal union. After all, they themselves had no love for the Equestrians. There was an awkward silence for a few moments, before another Primicerii spoke up
"On to other matters then..."

"If this Triarii Universal Union helps the Collective then we will intervene, otherwise we cannot reveal ourselves to them just yet."

"But what of the Equestrians there? The UU intervention could just encourage the Collective to war with the Equestrians. "

"They will find a way to prevail."
