"..." Maka stands, and smiles at Asura, before running after Delta. They find her, slightly winded, half way to the sergal city. "...I'll kill him later." She mutters, as she starts to wonder back. "....Well....how did you get here?" She asks them.

"..I do...I thought he died." Gunner says. "..I did...I lost my life. I'm now just a machine. I then promised myself I'd hunt down every monster like you two, and beg the gods for a new soul..." Kilroy replies, his voice distorted. "..but I've failed even that. Kill me. Please, put me out of my misery."
"..why would I kill someone like you? you can still pull things around, and I wouldn't get paid for it..so cheer up tin man, we'll find ya a heart yet." Gunner replies, and Kilroy lets out a groan. "..I hated that movie. Why would a witch melt? unless she was made from a crystalline structure, that couldn't happen..." Kilroy replies, annoyed.

this actually causes the captain to pause for a minute, growing silent for the short elevator ride up which seemed to last an eternity. "son. report to the range after the debriefing. i'll handle the paper work" the captain says evenly, the team on leave for the rest of the day, leaving tide to wander a bit and gawk at all the strange floura around him, the particularly carnivorous ones that weren't due for a feeding for an hour snapping at him as he walked by, but well restrained within fencing so as to pretty much just function as something to spook him if he let it.

After a good hour of waiting, Kalus heads into the basement with a rifle and returns a few minutes later to lift the lock down, slapping tide upside the head on the way back to his office but not saying a word. After all's said and done the captain calls him to an upper floor that seemed to function as the military barracks of sorts. "you know why i called you here son?" he asks evenly, his pistol at his hip with a fresh clip visible as he seemed to have been called to a mix of anatomy class room and firing range.

"She ran, I flew." Asura replies "next time, warn us before you try to kill someone."

"That's beside the point." Theta says "he's saying you still have a second chance."

"A lot of people use that sort of term when dealing with people below them...I know one such fellow like you. An old bastard...but a good man. He'd tear apart an army for his underlings." Tide says, sitting there, with his stomach now having a large scar on it. "..Sorry for what happened. I..didn't know things would get so bad. If I had, I'd of waited..try calling those big ones up one at a time." Tide says, before looking at the weapon before him. "....I'd rather not use that. I have a distaste for such things.." Tide replies.

"Why would I have to warn you two?" Delta asks, a bit credulously. Maka scoffs. "Rude." She replies. "Would you rather I replied by making you spit blood and shit teeth?" Delta retorts, not overly happy.

"...I see...." Kilroy says. ".....but now that I am just a machine...what's the point of a second chance. I'll fade into oblivion later...no after life...no...Life...at all." He says, sadness in his voice.
"...Fffffaaaaaa fine. We'll help you get a new soul..." Gunner tells the android, who perks up rather quickly. "..Really? You'd do that for a fallen foe?" He asks. "..Sure, why the hell not? I've been needing to improve my karma before it bites me in the ass..." Gunner says, cracking his neck.

"Or what, is mister phobia gonna try to scare me with something horrifiying, like paper clips, or maybe a tooth pick." Delta says, making fun of Asura, and then getting a foot planted firmly in her face. Maka's foot, to be exact, sending delta skitting back, blood leaking from her nose.

Gunner grins. "Karma couldn't touch you...It'd have to get though me first." He says, hugging her tightly, and lovingly. Kilroy smiles. "..Love. It's a strange thing. I can comprehend almost all emotions, but that one." He states, grinning.

"Thanks." Asura says before walking up to delta and saying "trust me. You don't want to know the things I could do."

"neither would i, but the tool must meet the occasion. i already calibrated it and added your ID to it so it's in effect your's" the old sergal replies evenly, handing a pistol off to tide, adding "s'all right. thought you'd know so i didn't bother tellin ya. aint nothin that can't be fixed."

"now. imma teach ya how to shoot. you had the right idea with yer lightnin but that won't work for as long as you need it to" the old sergal captain say evenly, entering some keypresses into holographic computer at the bench of one of the firing ranges, having a hologram of one of the insects show up in the range, a smaller one. "now, ya gotta aim for the joint where the head meets the abdominal carapace. puts 'em down clean and quick" the captain says evenly, entering a few more key presses before a big, red target is painted along where he'd described

"...." Delta just stomps off, rather angry. Maka just sighs, and hugs Asura. "..Can we go home...." She asks, sorta sadly.

Gunner grins, before thinking. "...well....time to go off on an adventure...I guess." He says, picking up Theta like one would a bride, and opening a portal. Kilroy follows, and where they arrive is Gunner's apartment..a crummy, falling apart place that honestly looks a large amount of steps down from Theta's home. "This, is my abode." Gunner says. "....this place isn't structurally sound..." Kilroy says. "....well, screw you too metal mouth." Gunner growls.

"No offense, but I'm with kilroy on this one." Theta says "still way better than my living room though."

Even before the target would show, Tide would plant a few shots into the joint. "...I've been trained to shoot. It's annoying to me...but I know how." Tide says, before blasting all of the joints on the insect.

when tide looks down the sights, he's greeted with a hud over the gun popping up, showing his ammo count maxed at fifty before he began firing with a small check and 'x' depending on what he looked over as well as a small reticule showing where the shot would land, making aiming incredibly easy. he's given a score with the kill, but for each additional shot made he lost so many points that he was far, far, FAR in the negatives

"good. you've gotta just aim for that spot cause the chitin's useful for the eggheads upstairs and our taxes are paid with intact legs. normally only one or two show up a day so but you callin in the swarm like that set us back a ways..." the sergal replies evenly, turning the simulation off as he says "sorry if me or kalus come off as hard asses. we aint had a nice life"

Maka opens a portal, and Delta flies though it. "...........Shit." Maka says, giving pursuit.

Gunner flips a switch, and the entire apartment turns into a luxurious mansion esq flat. "...Hehehe." Gunner chuckles, setting Theta into a couch so fluffy, so cuddly, she sinks into it quite a bit.

"I take it back. This is actually better than my whole neighborhood." Theta says with an impressed look on her face

Delta is looking around the streets of the DWMA, the ruins. "..What happened here?" She asks.

Gunner grins. "I'm rather loaded with dosh..." He says, sitting on the couch with Theta, snuggling into it with her. "...Bounty hunting pays well." "I can see that." Kilroy says, looking around.

Tide places the holster on his hip. "...I had no parents. Normally clones are given to parents, but I was given to a mentor....She was a right bitch. After I became stronger, I kicked the shit out of her and took her job..." He says, grinning widely.

"it's not something to be proud of son. all you did was beat a woman up and made her feel bad. that's no way to get back at her just cause she was mean. take the high general for instance; he was born to a ma that didn't think he was worth the calluses on her paws. look at him now. didn't touch her, didn't bad mouth her, just made her eat her words." the captain says evenly, adding the last part with a chuckle as the high general pops in, saying evenly "telling stories about me to the new kids again arty?". "course. not like having a male high general is all that common of an occurence. you're a right succ-" the old captain says evenly, getting cut off by kalus that seems to be rather tired at the moment "not now arty... just came here to drop off the rifle..." before doing just that and leaving without another word.

"well. i ought to head to the racks before they run out of wine, and you've got some paperwork to fill out for that new pistol of yours" the captain replies evenly, leaving tide with the realization of paperwork
