she finds it less draining than before, as if taking things slowly and practicing makes it easier as time goes on. the man removes the tag from her right eye before double stacking her left eye, making regening that one even easier as he says "no, but i managed to find the man responsible. his name was marco and the emperor sent him to a woman named tsubaki as punishment... sorry, but in all the excitement i forgot about it" his tone implies that he actually enjoyed the covert operations even if the reason behind doing it upset him, revealing his odd enjoyment for his work and just how annoyingly unemployed he might be currently. he remains silent for a minute as he has her open her right eye slowly, checking to see if it functioned properly as he says "but when you're all done regenerating your other eye, you can tell him yourself"

When he does, he feels the gorgonic energy attack him, as per normal.
"Marco? That drunk?" She asks, extremely surprised. "But even still....Tsubaki..." She says, before whistling.

"I see. Well, I would love to let you do that, I mean I really would." He starts, before his arms form large spike like blades, and breaks out of the ropes. He then stabs Theta-d in the stomach, and then grabbing Marco as he runs out of the vault at ultra fast speeds. Tsubaki blinks a few times.

Damien stops just after entering the clearing. He frowns at the woman, knowing that she was there before him by no fault of coincidence. She didn't seem to be a vampire, or undead for that matter. Perhaps she was a witch. He didn't make any provocative actions, but stood there, obviously.

the woman takes a while to notice him before saying "hello... might i ask if you need anything?" the moment the sunlight disappears the flowers begin to bloom, glowing faintly blue and lighting up the field as she smiles at the sight, seeming to be enjoying herself despite the impending danger

Damien narrows his eyes and looks around them. "It's night." He paused. The woman clearly didn't care about the fiends that stalked the wilds. "I don't intend to die." He drew his longsword, not yet revealing any of his far more formidable magic. He faced her, ready to be attacked by whatever she truly was.

she seems to not really notice his hostility, too wrapped up in enjoying the sight before saying a small prayer in a low voice where he couldn't hear. she seems to be either unaware of what monsters lurked in the night or unconcerned about the danger she was in, leaving the only two options about her to either be naive or competent enough to defend herself as she could sense that while she had quite a bit of power, she was actually human

Damien glanced over the faintly glowing flowers. They were beautiful. He had never seen anything like them before, obviously enchanted or filled with some sort of magic. He realized the woman was human, but found that detail confusing. He thought he'd start with a neutral question. "Who are you?"

"my name is Elycia (pronounced similar to elysium) and i'm a priestess of the goddess of night" she replies, her tone oddly cheery, as if she were more at home during the night even if there are monstrous creatures about. she continues to tend to the flowers as damien might begin to notice how uniform the flowers were, as if planted instead of naturally grown

"i can read minds" the man replies, his tone sounding like he was bullshiting sven to delta while sven would just hear his normal, even tone. he then asks delta "want an eye patch or are you fine with hetero-chromia?" as before her differences seemed to bother her immensely. he then removes the paper tags all together as he stands, offering a hand to help delta up

"Sounds awesome." She says. Sven makes a bit of a coughing noise.

the man leads her down a hallway and to a room that looks similar to a martial arts dojo in nature and features various training dummies and equipment. "so what would you like to learn?" the man asks evenly as he messes with a wall computer
