"...I....I seem to have no other option..." He starts, before behind him, a figure arrives. He sets a hand onto the emperor's head, and suddenly, the emperor fell forward, limp. The man, tossing the larger man off of the chair sits down."Now then, Mathew...Shall I teach you some manners?" The man asks, chuckling. With a snap, the planet from orbit turns red...from the blood running on the streets. The vast population on the planet is ripped asunder, killing them all."Now, as so you can't make more. of those wretched things." The man chuckles, before the large cloning facilities, the pride and joy of the empire explode violently. Reduced to rubble. Such destruction on a massive scale. It's something that would harken back to the destruction of Mathew's planet..but far more brutal. Far more gore filled. The man, now laughing as the blood coated streets filled with blood, and chemicals. The empire, a great nation, a place of peace and happiness...turned to a blood stained, rubble filled rock. The clone ships orbiting the planet twist and break apart, a show of power. Their torn wreaks crash into the planet. scaring the land scape. Not a single survivor. Such a show of power, and brutality."Maybe, that will teach you manners you brat." The man growls.
Mathew blinked. It was sudden, as suddenly his sensors saw that all of the life on the planet was wiped out. Blood seemed to cover the planet's surface, it's distribution among the ground improbable in it's spread, showing an intentional will behind creating a visual effect. The method of destruction had been rudimentary, instead of breaking through at the weakest points. Entire structures collapsed and twisted based on an application of some invisible force, showing a great power being applied without thought or precision, and to all appearances affecting the outside of certain objects before affecting their inside. There was no divine signature, meaning that whatever power was being used, it wasn't divine. And yet, the readings that were constantly being taken by Babylon's many sensors could not detect by what mechanics this attack was functioning, despite it's effects being spread across the surface of the entire planet. The kinetic forces could be detected, but not what energy it came from. All energy must come from energy, that force had to be the result of another force being expended, and yet it could not be detected by any means visible to Babylon.
All this information was absorbed by Mathew's subconscious in the blink of an eye, constantly reasoning and performing calculations to calculate this beings sheer power and precision. Even as his conscious mind tried to grasp just what he had just witnessed, staring at the ground through the many eyes he had given himself. He was given close up views, even as the exact details of the damage and slaughter were transmitted directly into his brain. Recaps of the people, even as they exploded, played in slow motion to capture every detail. Impressive sensor arrays, mindless in their function to process information, unknowing of the context of said information, provided every view, every angle, every little bit of knowledge that could be taken from the scene. And Mathew, in shock, was struck. Unable to speak, unable to take action, even as, in the deep corners of his mind, his rage built up.
"A show. You killed them for a show." Thousands of machines wirred into action. Every drone loaded it's weapon, as massive pieces of armor slid away from long rows of cannons. Powerful and complex Quantum Drives, applying the observer effect as they locked the quantum particles in space and time, even while twisting them in order to bend that space they occupied. Gravitational wells formed, contained and channeled, like whirlpools in the fabric of space. Energy generators prepared themselves, as every source of energy aboard Babylong was prepared for combat. "A spectacle, to show off your power? YOU JUST KILLED THEM TO SHOW....... YOU MONSTROUS LIVING PIECE OF SHIT!" All energy was rerouted, as the engines, halted. The front of the ship, where it ended in a large point, opened up to reveal a collection of powerful quantum engines in a spiral arrangement, with a large amount of Quantum Locks along a short barrel. The Quantum Shields were rebuilt and replaced, even as Mathew's very will changed the shape and purpose of these devices. Through a mere whim, his weapons were recreated, a variation of the Clone Emperor's devices being used to 'eat' and 'print' devices in whatever method Mathew imagined nearly instantly.
"You think you can teach me manners? Through a show of worthless force, like an arrogant fool? You don't even realize the worth of what you've lost, just to disregard the lives of others so casually. You aren't a man, you aren't even alive." The massive cannon focused power, a massive distortion in space growing, only barely contained by the many gravity locks, unfocused, and yet created far differently from before. A design based on applying the ideas of the Clone Emperor's technology to his own control of quantum particles, allowing him limited control over the fabric of space. "Let me show you something that you lack. Something that's beyond your comprehension, something you will never understand." Thousands of cannons slowly moved away from the sides of Mathew's ship, attached to special gravitational beams that allowed them to reposition themselves into a better firing formation. "Feel the force of a life, asshole." Created through the Production Facility aboard the Terebithia, as well as brought in via the newly requisitioned Fiction Gate, thousands upon thousands of drones were fired rapidly through this combat tunnel that launched them rapidly. Like a swarm of doom, as through the red mist, an uncountable army of armored drones. Already deployed as they landed around Darkside's position, already firing. Uncountable numbers launched at the planet, and uncountable numbers were torn to pieces as Darkside would retaliate. Drones fought and died, even as they were teleported back to be repurposed, rebuilt from their base materials.
