Zack wasn't sure about that. Actually doing it with her meant being close to her. It was hard to keep his hand to himself when they were so close, but Zack did his best. The receipt wasn't that difficult to follow once he knew what the words meant. He was confident that he would be able to do it on his own sometime. "Thankyou for showing me how to do this. I think I can manage some baking on my own."

Keita smiled and nodded once they'd put the cake in the oven and set the timer. "No problem did you enjoy yourself?" she asked him smiling a little and looked to him "also if you ever want to do some baking just let me know and I can check we have everything, this book has lots of different recipes as well. also want t put some icing on the cake?" she asked him curiously.

"I learned a lot. Zack told her honestly. He couldn't say that he had enjoyed it. He had been too worried keeping as much space between them as he could to really relax and enjoy it. He didn't think he would like baking as much as he liked cooking. But he thought it was a good skill to have. One that could help him find a place in her world. "Icing?" zack asked uncertainly.

"Zack, don't be so tense" she said bluntly and looked to him before kissing his cheek again "relax ok?" she said to him softly "Calm yourself ok, I didn't realise you'd end up so tense, maybe I should've left you to your statue" she sighed and shook her head a little before she kept and eye on the cake and brought it out once more. "and it's what we decorating cakes with" she explained.

"It is hard not to be tense. I am worried about doing the wrong thing. You are so relaxed and comfortable. I don't want to mess that up." Zack told her as he tried to relax. It was hard when everything he wanted to do seemed to shock or upset her. He wondered if there was a book or movie on how to get to know a stranger you where living with. "Do you put icing on all cakes? How do you decide if a cake needs icing?"

Keita nodded and smiled a little "Well it just depends on whether or not you want to put icing on or not" she said to him and sighed "Just be yourself" she said softly to him trying her best to be as friendly as possible and careful about what she said as well "Ok, think think…. anyway do you want to help with icing it, we have some chocolate icing if you want to use that"

"I can't be myself. Not when it make you react so poorly." Zack told her. As he stood to his feet. He debated going out to the garage and working on his sculptor. "I don't mind watching an learning. When I know more about how your kind interacts I will be more relax and so will you. No. I will let you handle the icing. I'll be in the garage when you are ready to show me the store."

She sighed and watched him go muttering to herself. She decided not to go to the store that day, she and all she needed anyway and sorted out the cake once it was out of the oven. She finished off icing it and sighed sitting down and thinking to herself "Silly man" she muttered "But why did I have to freeze up yesterday?" she sighed and ruffled her hair.

Zack worked on his sculpture through the day. He thought of the few things he had seen on TV. There had to be something there that could help him. She hadn't been threatened until he tried to kiss her. Maybe he should forget kissing. As much as he liked kissing and touching her it was clear that doing so made her uncomfortable. He could be with her without touching her. He was determined to try.

Keita spent her day sorting out a load of stuff and then finished up with the cake in with icing and other decorations and leaving ti there for the time being and tried to think of ways to get Zack to come out of the garage and be his normal self around her again.

Zack skipped lunch. He was too involved with his sculpture to realize the time. It was nearly supper time when he stepped back from the sculpture. He was pleased with the progress he had made. It was nearly done. Another day or two and it would be finished. He cleaned up and hid the sculpture. He didn't want her to find it until it was finished. That take care of he headed inside.

She called him through when dinner was ready, they were having honey glazed gammon that evening and looked to the sculpture and smiled a little "Enjoying yourself?" she asked noting a smile on his face "Come on though, dinners ready and you skipped lunch" she said to him shaking her head.

"a missed meal or two won't hurt me." zack told her. But he followed her inside.he accompled what he wanted to accomplish. He had calmed himself as found some peace with the current situation. He could be her friend. He could do it without touching her. He would simple pretend she was one of his male friends. "yes I am quite please with how it is coming. I can't wait until it is finished.

She frowned knowing he was right and handed him his dinner once he sat down "Here we are, should be nice since I don't get it too often" she smiled at him happily and sat down herself "Well enjoy" she said and sipped her drink a little before she took a bite and smiled happy with her work. "Let's see now, we can go to the supermarket next week. I've sent an application for a passport for you we just need to get a photo is all that's left"

"How will we get a photo? A passport will be enough proof for me to start belong? Do get a job and stuff? That is wonderful that you got so much done." Zack complimented her. He dug into the food. "This is good."

"Yep and I have a camera so I just need to set up a blank backdrop and get a photo of you and then it should be ok" she smiled at him "and yeah should be I can help you with the rest of the stuff, but since I'm a student I don't plan on getting a job for the time being, need to focus on my studies" she smiled and looked to him.

"That sounds wonderful." zack told her. He was glad that they would be able to make it look like he belonged her. In time he could seek a job. Then he would be able to repay her.

"You also need to think carefully about what sort of job you'd want to do as well" she said "I have a few booklets that you can read and you should be able to find at least one job you'll be able to do, Have any qualifications from your planet. Also one job you can try is being a sculptor you'll be able to do what you love and people pay a lot of money for sculptures especially if they're good and you can work from here as well" she smiled at him.

"Scupting could be a job?" Zack asked. "That would be wonderful. I would love to make money doing something I love. I will look at the booklets just in case. Qualifications? That is something that I am good at that can be applied to a job,right? Im not sure."

"More of something you get from schools and universities here but don't worry, I know a few people who'll pay well, they're always looking for new sculptures also can you repair sculptures because that way you can help out museums and look after a few and repair those that get broken" she said to him knowing it was definitely something he'd enjoy doing and found one on jobs in art and it had a section on sculpting. "Here we are, you can also make smaller sculptures of say animals to sell in shops in the market not too far from here, the shop keeper knows me so if you paint them so they look quite nice they should sell very well"
