[IC] A Whole New World

Zack simply watched her and Wisps play together. They were so beautiful interacting the way the were. He enjoyed watching them.

Keita soon grabbed his hand and got him to come play with her and Wisp the foal rearing up playfully, she made Keita laugh a little and storm came over and nudged the foal snorting.

Zack winced when she grapped his hand. He knew that she just wanted to include him in the fun she was feeling. He began playing with Wisps the way he had seen Keita interact with her.

[Soul Hunter]

"Sorry I forgot" she said to him softly and watch him playing with the foal and smiled Wisp was loving all of the attention "I think this one just loves the attention" she laughed and watched them both still.

"It alright." He assured her with a sad smile. They had both gotten comfortable touching each other whenever they wanted that neither of the really thought about it. "She is very energetic."

[Soul Hunter]

"Yeah, clearly gets that from her mother since Storm is too laid back and a bit lazy at times aren't you boy?" she said as the stallion snorted and walked over to them all to see what everything was about.

"Will that cause you problems?" Zack asked. He thought the foals energy would be handy in getting work done. But he didn't know enough to be sure.

[Soul Hunter]

"No shouldn't do" she smiled at him "A lot of horses are easy to work with, she's a little stubborn but that can also be a good thing" she said to him before stroking the foal gently and smiling. "But she'll be a good work horse that's for sure."

"Im glad tho hear that. What would you do if she didn't work out?" Zack asked curiously. She wasnt the type to destroy an animdl simply because they weren't what she wanted them to be.

"I'll keep her anyway and simply work with her slowly so she gets used to it and anyway she'll be a good riding horse as well since I'm training her to be a riding horse before one that pulls carts" she said and smiled a little "No reason to get rid of her anyway each horse can be worked with some just take longer than others"

"there is never a case when a horse is incapable of working?" Zack asked. He wanted to understand. It seemed that occasionally there be a creature that just didn't have the strength or temperament.

[Soul Hunter]

"Well then they are used as companion horses like the older ones, used to keep other horses company in the feild and occasionally as breeding horses too if their genes are good minus that it's easily bred out" she explained to him. "Storm there is too old to be a working horse now but we bred him once and that results in Wisp since he's a good temperament and build but he was never suitable for riding due to his size so we picked a much smaller than average shire mare to handle that gene" she said to him.

"Creatures of our world are lucky." Zack told her. He was glad that there were choices for the animals if they could not work. "Wisps is lucky to have you as her owner."

[Soul Hunter]

"Well, Storm is my father's old horse donated to the stables since he was old and he is a favourite around here, good for teaching children about horses so he is also a teacher you could say and her mother is a good mare in competitions and a beauty so I asked for them to be bred together and luckily both agreed since it was a good match so she wasn't going to get another owner" she smiled at him. "But thanks for saying that as well, means a lot really" she said watching as Wisp trotted over and started to play with Zack.

" I mean it." He might not know alot about her world but he knew not everyone was as kind as she was. He scratched Wisps. "This is a nice way to spend a couple of hours."

[Soul Hunter]

"Yeah it's early relaxing, you should come out on a horse ride at some point when she's older, I'm sure you can borrow another horse, Storm is not an ideal riding horse although he is trained as one as well but I'm sure we can get you up there if you want, he's size can be intimidating to most riders despite being such a softie" she said to him smiling.

"His size doesn't scare me." Zack assured her. "You would have to teach me how to ride. We don't have animals that we can ride on my world."

[Soul Hunter]

"Ok then well I can show you when start to teach Wisp that way her father sets an example at the same time so she'll be more at ease that way but I can teach you a few basics with some of the stable horses on the weekend, Saturday morning is the least busiest so we can borrow some horses there and I can show you a few basics" she nodded. "I'll let you ride one of the smaller horses for the time being since he's a bit of a challenge at times but once you know basics it's easy"

"I trust your judgement. Whatever you think is best. You know ride much better then I do. I look forward to learning." Zack told her.

"Ok then make sure you leave this Saturday morning free ok?" she said to him happily before she found Wisps halter and moved to put it on her and lead her back into the stables "Can you take her into the stable for me Zack while I do Storm?" she asked him and put the halter on the large stallion who simply followed half the time anyway.
