[IC] A Whole New World

"I'll keep the day open." He promised. He thought it was funny that she wanted him to keep the day open. It wasnt like he had other things to do. His time belonged to her. He gentle lead Wisps into the stable. He followed her example on how to care for the horse.

"Ok good because we do't know if something will come up that's why I asked" she said and kissed his nose quickly and gently hoping ti wouldn't hurt him and then showed him how to care for the horses and put Storm in his stable before putting the halter on the right hook and showed him where to put Wisps halter. "There we are, relaxing huh, and you feeling better?' she asked "You seemed a little upset this morning is all and I though this would cheer you up and it'd give us something to do together too"

"Getting out of the house helped. I am not used to not being able to touch you. It is hard having to fight my instincts." Zack explained. He didn't know what to do to make things better for both of them. There was so much he had to explain to her. "I need to explain the mate ceremony, but I don't know how to do it without scaring you."

[Soul Hunter]

"You can tell me once we're back home, that way you can take your time and explain it to me how you feel is best ok and you won't scare me so don't worry I still need to learn a bit more about your culture anyway" she said to him. Once they got back home she sat down with him and let him begin to explain the ceremony.

"There is so much I need to explain. I don't know where to start. The ceremony is very detail. There are parts of it that I don't think you will like. My world is so different from yours." Zack tried to explained. He searched for the words to describe what they had to do. "I was thinking about it all day today. There are some steps that we might be able to take that would ease the pain I feel without taking that final step."

Keita listened carefully to what he said sure enough here were a few parts of it she didn't like the sound of but she still listened to what was being said to her "Well if it can ease the pain your feeling then we can try them if you like… I really don't like seeing you in such pain" she said softly and waited for an answer "ok just let me check there anything we need for the steps we can do?" she asked.

"The problem is that your world doesn't have the things that we need" Zack explained. "The first few steps should be a problem. Are you ok with sharing blood."

[Soul Hunter]

"Yeah I'm ok with that" she said to him an smiled a little "How do we do that then?" she asked him wanting to make sure that there wasn't a certain way they needed to do so and waited for instructions "Well let's try to get a few of the things we can use as substitutes for the things you use ok?" she said softly.

"I am willing to look. We need a many fruits and vegetables I haven't seen here. But first we need to find a blade to make the cuts. We need it to be blessed. How can we do that?"

[Soul Hunter]

"Hmm can you roughly draw what the fruits an vegetables look like and I'll see if we have some that look similar ok?" she said to him and nodded "Well I have a blade we can use form ym swiss army knife, would that be ok?" she asked him.

"I can draw you pictures but I don't know what good it will help. It isn't the appearance we need but the flavor." Zack explained. "A swiss army knife isn't big enough. We need something special for the ceremony."

[Soul Hunter]

"Ok then try to write down what the flavours are like instead" she said to him and thought for a moment "Hmm something special" she thought for a moment "Wait here a moment" she headed upstairs and up tot he loft checking everything. She came down with a curved knife "This ok?" she asked him.

"I will try my best to describe them. They are not like any we have had so far. So anything I have sampled can be taken off the list." Zack looked at the knife. "What is that?"

She looked to the list and thought a moment picking out a few of the fruits and vegetables she had they had similar tastes at least and checked them off. "It's a curved dagger, a souvenir I got from my grandfather, he travels a lot and well.. always brings back these weird souvenirs so I keep them but don't have anywhere to display them at the moment. Is it ok for the ceremony?" she asked him.

"I think it will work. It is very similar to the one my father used." Zack told her. "How are we going to get it blessed though?"

[Soul Hunter]

"It got blessed over in another country, it's a sacred dagger so it got blessed frequently, let's see I received this six months back so it's been six months since then, it got blessed in a cathedral and my grandfather was present at the time so it got blessed then that ok?" she asked him.

"I hope so. I have little knowledge of your world. I don't know if your blessing will work. But I don't see how we have alot of choice." Zack took the knife from her. It didn't feel special but he knew so little about the world she lived in. Magic might have a different feel here. "Are there any spells on it?"

[Soul Hunter]

"I don't think so" she said to him "I haven't taken it out of it's sheath. So I might be contained inside the sheath for all I know why?" she asked him and finished gathering up the fruits and vegetables. "Ok think we have most of the stuff anything else?"

"You must be sure." Zack warned her. "If you have any doubt we must wait. Once we start the steps we can not stop. We can't turn back."

[Soul Hunter]

"Does it have to have spells on it, I doubt we'll find anyone who can do magic to be honest, but it's still a sacred dagger so it must have some sort of spell on it, take it out of the sheath and see if you you want, you should be able to tell right?"
