[IC] A Whole New World

"When are you are ready?" Zack agreed. He was willing to wait of the treat she was offering him. He chuckled as he watched the bird steal bites of her food. "I have never seen an animal eating people food before."

"he's not allowed too much but a little is ok" she said smiling and the bird soon had his share and moved to sit on her shoulder while she ate. Once she finished she waited for him to do the same before taking the plates downstairs, coming back up she thought for a moment. "There is a good film on tonight we can watch fi you want?" she asked

"I would love to see this film." Zack told her. He didn't care what they did together as long as they spent time together. Every minute they spend time together was time that he could use to show he that he would not hurt her. That she could trust him to care for her.

Keita smiled and brought up some popcorn "Here, it's called popcorn and well it's literally corn that has been popped. This one is, sweet flavoured" she said and looked to him "Here try some, it's really quite nice, usually we eat it while watching films. The film we're watching is called James Bond, I forget which on but it's a really good film, some call it a classic" she smiled at him as she changed the channel over.

"Classic?" Zack asked uncertainly as he reached for the popcorn. He tried to imagine corn popping. He know what the food called corn looked like from the commercials on the TV. He settled into the bed trying to get comfortable. "Who or what is James Bond?"

"Classic, as in it's a cultural thing, so where we are James Bond films are very popular and they are about an english spy called James Bond who goes on missions. Think this one is Skyfall" she said as it started and the opening began to play. "They are really good film but don't try to copy what he does, you could end up hurting yourself"

"I will keep this in mind." Zack assured her. She seemed to admired this James Bond. He watched the movie carefully. Maybe he could copy some of the things the James Bond did. Maybe then she would admire him the way she admired this man. He eat the popcorn. He wasn't sure that he cared for the sweet taste of it. At the end of the movie he asked. "Are spies really like that here on your world?"

"Well, no body quite knows, they're spies their not meant to be known" she said to him before noticing he didn't care much for the popcorn "They have toffee and salt flavoured popcorn as well, we can try them both next time we watch a film together ok?" she said "We can mix them al together so that way it's be fun to see what we get. "Also when you can get up and move, you can use he sculpting materials I have and the garage as well to put them in, my paintings are mainly stores in the other spare room and my room and some in the dining room and kitchen" she said.

"I looking to forward to trying them all." Zack told her. "I can hardly wait to sculpt again, it has been many months since I have been able to indulge in my hobby. I have missed being able to create."

"I'm sure you are" she smiled at him "and well if you can move around tomorrow you can but don't stay up doing it too late ok? You'll end up begin quite tired the next morning" she tied her hair back again before thinking for a moment "Anyway, think it's time I make those hot chocolates for us" she said and headed back downstairs to make the hot chocolates, she came back up around 10 minutes later with two "Here we are, sit up and be careful they're quite hot so you don't want to burn your tongue or drop it"

"I hope this is shaken not stirred." Zack joked. "I will try to remember not to be up too much. But it is hard to pay attention to the time when you get lost in your art. I once spent two days creating a sculpture for my mother." He chuckled at the memory. "I think I like your planet. Even if it is overwhelming and confusing. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Keita laughed "Very funny Zack" she said "and I know that all too well which is why I'm telling you not to stay up all night sculpting" she said and nodded "It's no problem, like I said the company is nice" she smiled as she wiped some creme from her lips and licked it before she got her spoon and began to eat that and the marshmallows before checking the hot chocolate's temperate "Hmm, should be ok to drink now" she said to him after taking a sip of her own.

Zack smiled pleased that he had been able to make her laugh. She had liked his little joke. He was proud of that. It wasn't much but it was a start. "I promise that I will try not to get lost in my sculpting tomorrow. You may have to remind me though. Like you said you know how easily one can get lost into their art.

"Ok then, well I'll have to give you lunch won't I?" she said she did quite enjoy his company and having someone else to cook for now, it was quite fun. "and don't push yourself either, you're still recovering" she frowned at him before taking a sip from her mug again quite contently.

"I know." Zack assured her. He planned to be carful. He already had a dozen ideas of ideas of things he wanted to sculpt for her. "You have the prettiest eyes I have ever seen." Zack told her. He had never seen eyes quite like hers.

She smiled and kissed his forehead before she took their mugs and headed downstairs, she put them in the sink before heading to bed and then wrong something on the calendar to remind her of something. The next day she woke up a little late.

Zack smiled happily as she kissed his forehead. "Good night." He watched her leave. It had been a very good day, he decided. He had alot about her and her world. He had gotten her to touch him. Zack made himself comfortable on the bed. He thought he might try to make her breakfast tomorrow. He closed his eyes and let sleep take him.

Keita woke up late and sitting up she looked around before she moved to walk downstairs after checking on Zack. "Hmmm, ok let's see what was I doing again?" she asked herself muttering a little. "Ah right I'll set up the sculpting material for him"

Zack didn't see Keita when he woke the next morning. He carefully made his way down the stairs. His leg was much better but he still could not bare his full weight on it long. He found the kitchen. He studied the unusual things he found there. He recognized some of them from commercials. He looked in the fridge. He was pleased to find eggs. He took the eggs and a pan and put them on the stove. He began making her an omelet.

Keita smiled and headed to the kitchen after setting everything up a little surprised to see him there cooking"You know how to cook here?" she asked a little surprised still as she got them both a drink, orange juice this time. "Thanks for making breakfast" she said and got two plates out for him to help out a little bit and was also glad to see him walking around.
