This was not the most pleasant "welcome back" for Margaret. Caught off guard, the Arrancar struggled but found herself consumed by... she did not know what. Had something gotten her? Had something captured her? Impossible, she had not sensed its spiritual pressure. Was something about to kill her?

...Was she about to die? Again?

Abel gritted his teeth as he used his sonido to evade the destruction caused by the Ujauja and the new strange creature that had emerged from the depths of Huenco Mundo. "What the hell is that?" Whatever this monster was it was different than every other hollow he had encountered before and if he didn't act fast he Ujauja would be eaten by it. He removed his Zanpakuto and charged cutting at the tendrils that were attempting to ingest Ujauja

With his claws dug deep into the beasts skin he could feel the muscles contract and pulled himself forward, further away from the side of the mouth, as was his plan.
He felt the tremble of the large maw shutting ripple trough the creature's muscles. So Ujauja dug himself deeper, to further get away from the tendrils and teeth.
Completely submerged in the loose sand, climbing down with sharp claws that tore short but deep tears in the monster's skin.
With nothing but exposed skin in front of him and white sand around him all he could do was climb further down until he ran into a vital organ.
Perhaps it was the sensory deprivation that called Ujauja back to reason, maybe he was tired. For now he kept descending. But something of a coherent plan was forming.

Other then a few dozen shrieking tendrils and hissing sands, the area was quite silent. Even the massive monstrosity made little noise as it's slimy, submerged form was assaulted by Ujauja. Normally, a hollows hierro was quite tough and dense. However the flesh beneath Ujauja's claws seemed to give quite easily, having a somewhat spongy consistency. Deep beneath many layers of slime, venom, blubber, and hierro, were massive muscles that compulsively flexed as the beast articulated it's appendages. Still, as many as there were, the skittering hollow managed to escape all of the tendrils and teeth, though muscle slowing toxins now covered his body from such close contact with the beast. Pushing through poison and slashing claws that raked at his flesh, Ujauja found his goal, though it was no vital organ. Looking back the arriving hollow, a pair of pitch black eyes gazed blankly from a pale humanoid face.

Averna

The meal was small, consisting of only half a hollow with the rest being quickly devoured by another potential meal. It was a bit disappointing thought Averna, passively swatting at the two hollows as they made their stand. Upon coming face to face, or whatever it was Ujauja used to stare back, Averna simply stared for a moment, as a lion observes it's prey. With long, slender, outreached arms, Averna awaited the hollow with a tilted head and a few unseen surprises in the sense depriving sand. At the same time, the ripple of several tightening muscles gently vibrated the ground as the next massive action from the mammoth monstrosity was prepared.

The unhallowed stare gave Ujauja pause. The thought to slash at the thing's face occurred but seemed futile now.
It didn't seem like there'd be much more energy for slashing. The slowing venom had made its way into his nerves somehow, having no veins and skin unable to absorb moisture usually kept most pesticides at bay but he wasn't so lucky this time. Ujauja had seen it's opportunity of escape though and clambered slightly further, beyond the creature's gaze. He reached out into the distance, clawing trough the sand saturated with slime and venom.
Almost there. Not sure if this was a good plan, he'd never heard of someone trying it. But then again, Hollow's weren't really the story telling type and it was too late for another idea.
Got it! He found the smallest little opening, and with all his leftover energy he tore space open.

KÅ«mon

Everyone in Karakura town able to see souls felt a sudden shake and spike in spiritual pressure. One they'd never have felt before.
As they looked up they'd see a crack in the sky, a Garganta, expanding rapidly in size as white sand poured out like a broken hourglass.
Tons and tons of sand came streaming from the sky as the earth trembled with power unknown.
The torrent of white was reduced when a massive black object blocked the hole. Long tendrils stuck out waving and writhing in the air.
The Garganta was ripped further under the weight of the massive thing whose immense weight was pressing down upon the tear.

This was the image Ujauja saw as he plummeted to earth along with tons and tons of sand, with great effort he'd managed to drop to the side.
When he landed he caught a glimpse of the face again before rolling down a sandy hill, into a building and finally giving in to unconsciousness.

There were a few moments of silence as the two sized each other up. However before Verona's slowly closing grip could catch Ujauja, he was gone. Unfortunate thought Verona. Feeling for vibrations in the sand, the retreating hollows motions were tracked. The hidden surprises, a pair of long spear like tendrils hardened like diamond, poised to strike at the slowing prey as it made it's escape...and then, in that moment, something was different. The sand suddenly feels lighter thought Verona, unaware of the rift that had begun opening below. Before there was time to react, a feeling of shock gripped the behemoth as everything came crashing downward in a bright ocean of sand and debris, spewing through the gargantuan maw of the portal. The sand around Verona's body washed away revealing something horrible. Something long forgotten buried beneath centuries of time. It was the burning sensation of sunlight crawling over the many eyes of Verona's Tendrils.

"GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOAAAA!!!"

A violent roar escaped the portal and shook the town below as more tendrils fell into this new world. They viciously squirmed and twitched, weaving through the cascading sand to feebly acquire shelter. However before the full monstrosity could be revealed, the appendages withdrew. "PAIN!" Screamed Verona in a deep voice, speaking for the first time in centuries as it's form was quickly concealed beneath the shadows of a coat upon the fall. Verona's obsidian eyes had adapted over millennia of hunting hollows to the darkness of Hueco Mundo. The sunlight here was absolutely unbearable. I need to find darkness thought Verona, falling onto the trunk of a small parked truck. The steel and mechanism burst into a shambling heap sending metal bits flying awry. Several near by car alarms began to cry out as Verona emerged from the wreckage with eyes covered.

Stumbling down the sidewalk, several light poles were toppled and windows were shattered as the blinded Verona felt it's way along. Using an array of sensory tendrils, Verona managed to find an open manhole cover. More importantly, it was a reprieve from the light. Passing by a pair of confused human constructions workers, looking blindly for what was causing the chaos, Verona quickly slipped down into the dark depths of the sewers beneath Karakura town. Meanwhile the toxins effecting Ujauja began to lose their effect, being out of range of Verona's spiritual pressure, which became concealed upon withdrawal beneath the coat.

A hell moth landed on the windowshield and said a message, rather loudly "THERE HAS BEEN A HUGE SPIKE IN SPIRIT PRESSURE IN KARAKURA TOWN! HOLLOW ATTACKS HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN MASS NUMBERS! ALL AVAILABLE SHINIGAMI ARE ORDERED TO AID THE SHINIGAMI IN KARAKURA TOWN!" Ken'ichi immediately abandoned the work on his desk and ran out of his office towards the Senkaimon. Several other shinigami also had to same idea. He soon reached it, entered, and appeared in the forest to the left of the city. He watched as sand and hollows of all kinds came pouring out of the massive Garganta above the city. "Well, This should be fun." Ken'ichi said with a grin as he drew his zanpakuto and headed off towards the city. He also sensed the reiatsu from the hollow he was fighting earlier and he began running even faster, using flash step to reach the area sooner. While being a vizard he had to ability to use a form of sonido, he didn't quite want to let the more intelligent hollow beings know he was a vizard quite yet.

He encountered a few lesser hollows along the way, nothing major, nothing to bother even using shikai against. However, when he reached the center of the town where the sand was steadily pouring out from the Garganta with unsuspecting Menos and Gillian and other various hollows, it was chaos on a mass scale. Hollows devouring anything with even a hint of higher spiritual pressure, ambushing and tearing shinigami to shreds. He stepped onto the sand and immediately he could feel his power begin to grow, which means of course so would every single hollow and shinigami here.

All around people began to pass out or get deathly ill from the huge spike in spiritual pressure. Some of the weaker shinigami were having trouble standing there ground just due to the massive spiritual pressure. Ken'ichi however had no problems being near it, him having trained to withstand it as well as him being captain class. He grinned at the pressure as well as the chaos unfolding around him, this WOULD be fun, he thought to himself.

Ujauja came crawling dazed from his hole. Squinting trough the bright light he watched total war unfold.
It seemed that whatever he just pulled into the human world, it's spiritual pressure had caught everyone's attention.
He saw shinigami and hollow both die in large amounts and smiled his many smiles.
He felt pride in the destruction he'd triggered. In all the things once so beautiful, now broken on the streets.
Still something was off. When he remembered the eyes of the creature this all started with, if there was any emotion in these eyes it was one he couldn't recognize.
He had never seen or even heard of a more powerfull creature, so he should feel envy, feel hatred and competition. And while this was true, there was something else.
So see the creature in pain from the sun, so see it flee, see it alone. Even more alone than he was, he'd never thought that possible.
This new feeling was weird, unreal. He shook it off like something trivial. Like a feeling of dejavu.

Ujauja took to the skies carefully and watched from a distance. Deciding who he was going to swoop down on.

"Order up!"
Within the dim confines of a small bar, a small crowd of rowdy drinkers jostled and joked, laughing amongst each other while sharing in dazed stupors. Among them, lining up his shot on a pool table in the corner, was Baldir. In one smooth motion, he hit the alabaster billiard ball and cleared the table. A hearty grin crossed his face as another man standing across from him spitefully tossed a crumbled up wad of cash onto the table before grabbing his drink and stumbling away. "Hey don't be so salty man! I'm just on a lucky streak." A devious chuckle escaped his lips but was suddenly interrupted when the overcoming feeling of massive spiritual pressure caught his attention. Everyone in the bar passed out from the dense reiatsu, accept for Baldir, who marched to a near by window. "What the hell?!" He growled, looking at the chaos ensuing outside. "Where did all these hollows come from?!" Without a moment to spare, Baldir dashed through the bar and out the door, closing quickly toward a 1970 Harley. Reaching into a burlap sack strewn around the side of the seat, he removed an axe and buckler; his zanpakuto. Looking up as a menos passed between buildings, Baldir couldn't help but grin a little. "Don't start the party without me!"

Despite her injury and being told to take it easy Soi stood from the bed she had been laying on for treatment. If the Hollows were attacking it was her duty to go to the Town and aid the others Shinigami. She quickly followed the others and upon reaching the Town saw the large mass of every class of Hollows she knew. "What is going on.." She wondered as she began to dispatch some.

Ken'ichi was dashing through the chaos, cutting down lesser hollows with ease. His primary target was that weird looking hollow from earlier, unfortunately his orders were to dispatch as many hollows as possible before they were unleashed across the world rather than just in Karakura Town. Just as he was about to finish off one of the many hollows that were terrorizing the town a Menos had managed to shamble it's way over to him, it swooped it's arm down and he just barely managed to roll out of the way. While he could have probably deflected the attack under normal circumstances, the spiritual pressure and reiatsu of everything shinigami and hollow alike was constantly rising as time continued to pass on the sand. "Reap, Shinpan no Ken!" Ken'ichi shouted as he invoked his shikai on his Zanpakuto. He began rapidly spinning one scythe in it's chain, tossed it into the air above the menos, and pulled it back with all his force.

The scythe stabbed into the back of the Menos and embedded itself, not exactly what Ken'ichi had planned, but it would work. He ran and began circling the Menos, wrapping the chain around it tighter and tighter, he laughed as the poor thing tried to sweep at him with it's slow movements. After he felt he had wrapped a sufficent amount of chain around it, he pulled with all his strength constricting the chain and causing the Menos to fall. The Menos fell, head facing Ken'ichi, it began charging a Cero. "Shit." Ken'ichi said. "We can't have none of that, can we?" Ken'ichi was moreso unsure about the strength of the Cero the Menos could currently produce rather than worried it would kill him. He quickly made the chain grow smaller, and tighter, squeezing the...non-life? Out of the hollow. Slowly the Menos' head began facing upwards, it fired, had Ken'ichi not ducked it would have took his head off. The Cero took out several of the taller buildings and continued to travel a short distance before dissipating. Man, Soul Society would have a hell of a time covering this up.

Ken'ichi threw his remaining scythe and stabbed the Menos in the throat, with a quick pull it cut the beasts throat and that was the end of him. The Menos dissipated as it was cleansed and Ken'ichi's scyth fell from it's back. One down, and a whole hell of a lot more to go..

It seemed everyone was too busy with the lesser hollow to pay Ujauja any mind. Perfect.
He went on the hunt. He had a perfectly cruel little tactic. Whenever a shinigami was fighting alone Ujauja would skitter out of a corner and quickly tear him apart before its opponents could finish him. After that he'd fight the hollow, but not to kill. As soon as he got a good bite out of every one he'd make his escape.
It wasn't a very well known fact, but Ujauja knew of a very interesting little fact about Hollow transformation.
Once eaten, a hollow can't grow.
With those bites the hollow are marked and when they die their souls are taken by the offender.
Unless the bitten eats the biter the bitten is incomplete, it can't grow and advance to the next level.
With every ambush and bite another hollow was doomed to never see himself become a Menos. And should they die, even by shinigami hands, Ujauja got the spoils.
The prospect of this horrible misery he was inflicting made Ujauja all giddy with anticipation, it wouldn't be long for the first harvest to start.

After he lost count he sat down on a tall industrial chimney and took in the scenery of death and destruction bellow.
He stared down at the mayhem and spotted Soi, and later Ken'ichi. He watched them in silence, while he picked his teeth with a broken zanpacto.

Soi continued to attack the smaller of the group by utilizing her speed. She would not use her Bankai as she didn't feel the need. She never liked her ability much as it slowed her down. She cloned herself and they delt with some of the larger enemies.

Swaying out from behind a building, a pair of menos emerged to the rear Soi Fon. Peering down on the soul reaper as she dispatched several hollows with ease, the menos simultaneously began charging energy for ceros. However, before the massive hollows could manage their assault, an echo of thunder resounded through the area as a brilliant shower of lightning bombarded them. Leaping from atop a near by building with a grin on his mulish face, Baldir sailed between the two menos in a flash, leaving behind clean slices through each. Baldir landed on the ground with a low thud as the the falling hollows dissipated. Brushing himself off, he cast a glance toward Soi, keeping aware of the area around them for incoming hollows. "Hey you..soul reaper!" Called Baldir. "Any idea what the hell's happening?"

Ujauja snickered, he had a pretty decent idea of what was going on.
He remained silent up on his post for now though. He was content to watch them go at it for now.
Even though he hated them for all their flashy power, he somehow felt himself rooting for them whenever they cut down another hollow marked by him.
It was simply safer and more lucrative to let them all be and collect the spoils. This weirded him out a little.
This was the first time common sense prevailed over jealousy. Was he becoming sane?

The hollowed glare of deep yellow eyes stared out from the darkness as the soul reapers fought. The fog of it's breath rose into the air as a hungry growl escaped it's maw, preparing to leap onto it's prey. Unease struck Baldir suddenly as he caught a glint of light in the corner of his eye. Looking up and into the distance, he saw a small shimmering beam of sunlight, refracted off the edge of a broken blade. "What the hell?..." Before he could get a good look at the beast picking it's teeth with the object, the hidden hollow leaped from the shadows overcome with hunger, relieving it's hulk like appearance. "What the hell?!" With little time to react, Baldir bent his legs and raised his shield toward the hollow. The mass of muscle and mask crashed with the buckler, releasing a wave of concussive energy as well as the bellowing sound of thunder which echoed through karakura. The hollow collapsed against the force of the collision, like hitting an iron wall, falling to the ground with a loud thud. "Try to sneak up on me will ya?!" Unmoved and unfazed, Baldir immediately retaliated, driving his axe deep into the beast impacted skull and splitting it in half down to it's meaty chest. Hollows blood spattered into the air as the monster disintegrated. Wiping his face with his forearm, the victorious warrior looked around for anymore incoming danger, before setting off into the chaos to continue his purge.

Slaying another hollow with a clean stroke of his axe, Baldir turned to the soul reaper who managed a reply amidst conflict. "Help? I'm not helping..." Looking toward an incoming hollow the size of a car, Baldir gave a grin. "I'm gettin while the gettin's good!" Raising his axe, Baldir summon a bolt of lighting from the sky. In a bright flash, and streaked through the sky and exploded into the head of the charging hollow, who collapsed in a sundering heap of charred flesh. "...And don't worry about who I am." He said, the grin not leaving his face as he turned back to Soi Fon. "Just don't get in my way." A chuckle escaped the mulish grin of the leather vested brute as he pushed on down the street, making his way toward the very center of town. There was no way killing these hollows one by one was going to accomplish anything. Instead, Baldir had a better idea.

The world right now was in chaos. The entire city seemed to be under attack by waves upon waves of hollows. However, logically speaking, this had to have a source. In other words, if the source of these Hollows was eliminated, the entire attack would lose its momentum and become more manageable.

...However. Could it even be called a battle? Every available Captain and division member in Soul Society had been mobilized to meet this all out attack. It could also be presumed that the higher ups had released the normal restraints on the Captains, raising their power to 100%.

Furthermore, it was doubtful that any Arrancar were present. Normal Hollows, even those of the highest rank weren't a match for a released Captain. There were currently around 13 Captains mobilized for this attack, including nearly all their divisions following them. Of course, one could subtract from that to account for any Captains out of Soul Society on business or something like that, but it was still a huge number. Without Arrancar, this battle wasn't a battle, it was just a massive clean up operation. No matter what sort of monster caused this situation, it couldn't hide itself in a city with this many enemies for very long, and if it fought this many captains at once, she had doubts it'd last.

This is why she didn't try to participate in the battle. Even if she had eaten huge things like war boats before, there was no doubt this situation was far to dangerous to participate in. However, it was a good opportunity, right? Regardless, Kaguya looked back at the task in hand. She opened a Garganta and slipped through a tiny crack, to the perfect location for a counter attack. There was a certain stone she needed to visit. However, there was also the issue of this Arrancar she had just absorbed.

There was nothing but a pitch black void around Margaret, and she could not move her arms, or legs. No, she couldn't even breath, couldn't blink, couldn't twitch. No, all of these things were certainly impossible right now. Both of her arms were pointed out in either direction, and her legs together; she was like a human cross.

She looked absolutely nothing like the form she took in the physical world, and she seemed to be around high school aged. Her hair was relatively long, and her eyes were a vibrant green that held extreme amounts of excitement. Just like Margaret, she was not wearing any clothes.

"You're here! You're really, really here! I was so worried, cause' the last time I tried this the person came out as a ball of flesh, but hey, it worked. That's what matters, right? Right?" Instantly the girl shot forward towards Margaret, pressing herself extremely close to her in a tight embrace of joy.
