"A fitting setting...."

There's something....off about Hideki High School. There's always a sense of menace in the air. A cold chill that passes though the spine when one isn't looking. Rumors abound in this mystery school, most of them nothing urban legends and hoaxes. You are a student at Hideki High. And your life is about to dwell into the darker aspects of these poor deprived souls....

"A lost soul...."

A new student. A new face. She has a disturbing aura about her, one that intimidates and threatens. She knows things. Things that seem impossible. Things about you...and your friends. You accept her, take her in. She's a little on the strange side. Keeping quite. Reciting horrific and gruesome tales. She is your friend.

"An accident..."

A storm. The power goes out. All the staff has left. You're trapped. You. Your friends. And her. There is no way out. You enter....

"Hell."

A nightmare. A place of suffering. Of chaos. Twisted and distorted reflection of our inner selves. She leads the way. She has knowledge of these dark dealings. She is hiding something. Do you trust her?

You must escape. You will survive. Or you will die.

I am a huge fan of the horror genre in general but I never had the chance to participate in an actual horror rp. So I would love to join if I am allowed to.

Scary, mentally questionable, horrific and gruesome terrors of fright and dread? Sounds fun.
Is the setting original, or did you draw inspiration from any one, or multiple, source(s)?
Whatever the case, just like Skys, I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time - but never found anyone who could cater to my taste. So, count me in! :)

Just hope you have some plan to deal with potential meta-gaming players...

Yeah....I kinda got inspired by Coprse Party and all those indie horror games. Meta-gaming shouldn't be a problem.

Despite my intentions to limit myself to 2 RPs at a time, I may very well end up joining this if only because I already like the respective tastes of everybody here.
I see one WataMote avatar, one Touhou sig, and what I believe is one Touhou avatar, not to mention this is a neat-sounding horror RP...

At worst, you've got a very interested spectator over here. I'll start digging the crevices of Safebooru my mind for inspiration on potential character in the event that I choose to join :)

@TheWindel: It is good to know that you intend to not let meta-gaming be a problem, but just how is that going to be put into effect? Since horror and psychological stories rely heavily on the fact that people don't meta-game, less they lose all suspense and interesting atmosphere, just giving people a slap on the wrist for meta-gaming isn't really going to cut it. Of course, if it's something severe, like having piano wire extend from the walls and tear their head off, by all means, I'm all up in your faon your side~

For this RP, I'm actually considering having real life consequences and permanent player death. I'm also gonna employ lots and lots of Deus Ex Diablos here.

On a more serious note, sounds good - people should be punished for/when/if they do something that is not in-character but rather the 'best' choice at the time - or always being able to tell if someone is lying, seeing through bluffs and/or knowing when someone is tryin to deceive them, even when they have no logical or background-relative reason for being able to do so.. Playing a video game and playing a different personality in a story are not the same after all. :p
As for Co-GM, you should probably pick someone who is active, is good at keeping secrets and has a firm grasp of english - and can make themself understood in said language. Of course, that may be difficult to do until after the roleplay starts up... ^^;
