You can use a gun, but the Dentist and most of the other Timelords are gonna make sure you don't use it when its possible to do something else

The Cremator has different views. Pretty realistic views, actually. Buy gun. Shoot alien or criminal who threaten you. He doesn't follow the Doctor to the D (huehe). But, if it becomes a problem, I can make it disappear.

Many of The Doctors situations could have gone a lot easier if he had a gun, but because of how he was, he preferred to use his quick wit and intelligence to defeat his foes. Always giving them a chance to redeem themselves before he would kill them.

That seems a tad unethical and careless. Because of his morals, he basically gave the aliens more time to kill people and cause chaos? Meh.

There would be no drama if he shot everything...

I'm not saying to shoot everything. I guess the TV show isn't really my thing - at least, character (protagonist) wise and whatever. Cool premise, but everything else isn't my thing.

Yeah its a bit like batman.
If he just killed the joker it would stop him for good but instead he locks him in Arkham to escape and kill again.
I don't really agree with the stand point but I just thought I would give my take on The Doctors standpoint, I look forward to how the cremator treats the morality that his mentor taught him.

I don't really think The Doctor not killing them is a bad thing. Because half of the enemies aren't even in control of themselves.

Here's a thing to think about: These little carnivorous aliens can't be considered 'evil' because it's just how their species is. It's like wolves, they're not considered evil, it's just the fact that nature gave them meat-eating teeth and a carnivorous predatorial body

I just ralized each of these new time lords are an aspect of the doctor.
The Dentist - The doctors Compassion
The Physicist - His quick THinking side
The Cremator - His agression and the reason he has his rules
The Traveler - His love of travel
The Seeker - His never ending curiosity.

I guess the Cremator would be more like the human doctor from David Tennants second last episode.
