Yes we'll start there. I was too cold to write last night and we'll see about tonight. I'm brainstorming on something for both the search party and what I want to do for the confrontation at the healing house. Loker needs to settle them down for the night, after the exchange of Wilfred and Robbie is made, so that they can all get some rest! Which they'll need for the following morning when those draugr bites do their thing.

I have a lot more sympathy for those people in that weather, it's been so cold here and our house is so drafty. I wish I had a hearth fire

I sympathise - coldest week of winter over here and I'm entirely single-glazed and the only occupant now (my fiancé retreating to her parents as her eczema isn't set off there but is in this flat) so I can't justify using the heating too much.

On the plus side it means I spend a lot more time in the (nicely) heated pub playing Pool/Snooker.

Also, Jinxer, what is single glazed? Sounds like a delicious donut to me.

Single glazed? Windows with one sheet of glass as opposed to double glazed which is two sheets of glass with space in between to create three layers of insulation as opposed to one. i.e. My house has terrible insulation.

Unfortunately this is Wales; we don't get hot. We don't even get warm. We get less cold and very slightly less wet :/

On we say pane, as in single pane and double pane. Ah, Wales, such a lovely country at least looking at pictures of it. I wouldn't want to endure rainy cold all year.

Our house is like that though, with single pane windows, no insulation between the old wooden boards and drywall and lots of cracks and gaps due to shifting foundation. The ground here is black clay that expands and contracts a lot and it plays hell on any type of foundation. It's been a pretty cold winter for us in the southern States. Though most of the year it's hot and holy shit it's fucking hot.

I made some changes in the collab this afternoon, just a few minor things and fixing things here and there, and was going to go on but I didn't want to step on anything that might yet be forthcoming? If there's still room for me to move before the arrival of (a) Harald and his men, or (b) Loker and HIS men, please do let me know. It's not a large bit there, but I do want to move Hallerna from the healing house outside again before Harald arrives. She is the head of her family and, just like she did 'this morning' going to get supplies, she is obliged to step up where she must.
