Davis was in the stairwell and tired to take a step on it when it collapsed; making it useless and he had to stay on the ground level for now. He then ran towards the half-wall, in order to hide from the enemies and it was large enough for his body and height to hide for a while. Then the enemies came in and began their manhunt, but it was stopped as the blue elite's leg was gone and he grabbed it so fast that a plasma grenade flew for his waist to near where Davis was. He knew what sound it was as soon as the elite's leg was shot and it hit the wall, it was a sniper and then to confirm the fire, Wiley told him that she and Tuckk were west of his position and firing at the enemies, which caused the red elite's shield to disappear and everyone was firing at a random direction. Then he felt the rumble as soon as the enemy was firing at the other ODSTs, which means that they must have hit one of the supporting pillars of the hotel.

He had a plasma grenade and two regular grenades and then he saw one of the elevator's ceilings was open and he might be able hide there. He made such that he had anything with him and then told Wiley, "Get out of there the building is about to fall on top of you guys. You don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine. Davis out."

He grabbed the plasma grenade and saw the red elite in one of the windows near the pillar and then Davis fired onto the glass and the elite looked at him and pointed his gun towards him as Davis threw the grenade to him. The colors of blue and violet lit up the dark room as it landed onto his arm and it blew up as his arm was gone and he landed onto the ground, good as dead. The other elite near him flew into the street and landed face first, which he died for and the two jackals' shields were gone due to the impact of the grenade. He then threw two more regular grenades onto the pillar and by the time that he did that the enemies had moved away from the pillar. The grenades blew up, and whole building began to rumble as one of the supporting pillars was gone. Davis ran towards the elevator and slid as grabbed onto the ceiling and closed it as he got inside the elevator.

It was dark and foggy in the elevator as got inside of it; he sat on the floor of the elevator and heard the rumble above him. He wasn't such if he was going to make it or not and moved towards the walls of the elevator and wait until the rest of the ODST could get him out.

The alleyway leading toward the triangular intersection of Stevens Street

Archer cursed as he slung his SMG, taking out his DMR and bringing it to bear. He watched as he saw a plasma grenade arc overhead and land near Acosta. He figured she'd move, but after the last operation he was worried about losing more helljumpers, so he hesitated for a moment to watch. He'd seen the results of plasma grenades detonating next to marines before... he turned the corner quickly and he could see the flaring shields of the Elite that Acosta had fired out, and took aim with his DMR. He fired four shots from his DMR off at it, and the shields flickered... and then died. He fired three more shots off, cracking the Elites armour and placing the shots on his chest.
It fell backwards onto the floor, firing it's plasma rifle off randomly as it clenched it's fists in pain. He watched as the grunts opened fire with plasma in his direction, and spun back into it, watching the plasma pass by his head. Archer could feel the heat of the plasma even through his armour, and clenched his teeth. Those grunts had been close...
He held against the wall, listening out for them with his weapon clenched in hand. attention. He prepared to pop out again and open fire, but a plasma bolt hit the wall and the super heated dust of the building rained down from the impact. They were still looking his way then, if he popped out now he'd likely be melted by plasma. With some luck, dropping the main Elite would cause the two grunts closest to panic and fall back. If not... he'd just have to hope someone either got them or got their attention.
He glanced over to Acosta, checking her status after the grenade. She was one of the best at her job he'd seen, just as the other GHOST's were the best at theirs. He didn't want to see another casualty, especially after that disaster of the last mission...

Before the second flashbang

As soon as he heard his flashbang detonate, Ross poked his head out from behind the corner once more. The Covenant squad looked disoriented and confused; one of the Grunts even shot another in the face. Tenjer and Anders were making short work of the dazed troops, although McCoy was still in a spot of trouble.
He scowled, looking down to his shotgun. At this range, he was nothing more than a flashbang dispenser. His pistol could probably dish out enough pain to the smaller soldiers, but if he attracted the attention of one the Elites, things would get a bit nasty.
Patrick peered around the corner again, pausing as he made a realization.

They hadn't seen him.

None of the Covenant had any idea he was here, otherwise there'd be at least a bit of plasma fire directed towards him. Hell, they hadn't even looked in his direction.
He exhaled, waiting a second before he broke cover, dashing over to the northern wall. The Covenant were dropping like flies, and the Zealot appeared to have vanished after he took a flare to the face. There were only a few Jackals left, with one Elite advancing on the eastern ODSTs.
Those Jackals were toast, but the Elite might prove a problem if Tenjer, Anders and Brewer couldn't get enough shots off fast enough.

Patrick drew his pistol, squeezing off a few shots at the Alien's back. It's shields wouldn't be penetrated, but if he could get it to hesitate for just a-

His vision suddenly went white, pain spreading through his eyes. He stumbled, halting his advance to try and avoid falling over.

"Ah F-Fuck!"

In the commotion, he hadn't been paying attention to his squad radio. Brewer's flashbang had caught him off guard, forcing him to slump against the nearby wall. Ballistic gunfire sounded in his ears. Hopefully his squadmates had cleaned up, and nobody had noticed his little blunder.

As Croft yanked Gatling up to his feet, McCoy groaned upon impact, getting picking up his beloved SAW that was beside him, mentally kicking himself thinking it was his grenade launcher. He turned to Croft, clutching tightly to his squad automatic weapon, looking it over as he ordered, his tone strained as he continued fighting through the pain, "Let's take a rest for a second, I need to check to see what happened." When Croft set him down, he grunted out his thanks before turning his attention to the malfunctioned weapon. Upon close inspection McCoy could see the problem, immediately setting to work on it as he grumbled slightly under his breathe about needing morphine.

He could feel Croft's stare on him, most likely wondering how the hell he's still up with all those burns burning in his side as McCoy told him bluntly as possible, having taken out the clip to jam the cock of the gun back in place, "I come from Reach, born from the sack of a drill sergeant who on the day of his death killed a Guta with a bowie knife after having serviced two tours against the Innies, and when straight out the pussy of a medic who was known to even perform shots, dig out bullets, and doctor up herself. Trust me," He continues explaining vulgarly, knowing full well his language was vulgar as hell, but hey, cussing helps lessen the pain, "I'm not going to die just because some covie got lucky." He slapped his clip back in, cocking his gun ready as he slowly stood up while groaning heavily, growling out as he limped toward Croft, "Now get me some goddam morphine or pain killers."

And within a few seconds a ton happened in front of Tenjer. The Zealot he was shooting it was maimed by a flare and seemed to flee, it looked like Jameson had arrived on the scene, all the grunts were dead or fleeing, there was another flashbang and the only elite left alive was approaching them. Quickly Tenjer aimed directly at the Elite's head and fired multiple shots into it's head, it becoming an easier target as it got closer and closer. Off in the distance he noticed Ross stumble around as if he got hit by the flashbang and thought to himself "Well, there goes our support from the rear of this thing", and got ready to drop his weapon if the elite got to close. If he lived to make it much closer he wanted to get his knife out and pounce on the beast, pin him and take him down right there. Quickly with a stab at his throat if the elite actually ended up getting so close.

Amber saluted and nodded. "Yes sir, meet you at city hall then." She said motioning for Golovkin to follow her quickly putting her helmet back on over her head making a job down the streets, passing through old store fronts and alleyways making sure that none of the other Covenant would spot her and Golovkin, Amber approached from the west, in the distance she could see the glow of plasma weapon fire coming from both grunts and jackals, they were by a hotel she spotted Wiley and Tuck but couldn't see Davis anywhere. "Provide cover fire for me, Davis is in the building and its not going to be standing for much longer." Amber said to Golovkin nodded and started to make a dash towards Wiley and Tuck he took out his SAW and opened fire on two of the grunts. "We are under attack!" Yelled the grunt before it was gunned down by a hail of bullets along with it's brother.

Amber snuck into the side entrance of the hotel, she took out her combat knife and hid behind the wall, she could see a grunt its plasma pistol aiming trying to search for Davis and wasn't suspecting Amber was nearby. She snuck up behind it and grabbed the small alien's breathing mask and quickly yanked it off of its face, the creature started gasping for air trying to get its methane mask back on only to get it's neck slit open by Amber's knife. The ODST saw a glow of a jackal's arm shield and quickly took out her SMG the Jackal's back was turned and fired several round from her silenced SMG killing the alien. "Davis your free to come out now, the building wont last much longer!" Amber yelled through the radio just as the building started to rumble again dust coming from the ceiling.

Amber walked towards the dead jackal and ripped it's arm mounted shield from it's wrist and pressed a button on it's side watching it come to life and quickly shut it off and attached it to her right arm.

As Victoria head off towards the direction of her teammates, she heard the unmistakable chatter of Covenant forces, who had converged onto her vacant drop pod. Her immediate reaction was to dive for cover behind a plant box of some sort, hoping her teammates were within the immediate area and coming onto her. Victoria herself was capable of taking these enemies on by herself, but didn't want to risk it in a situation like this. As she could see their silhouettes walk past, she gestured towards them. "Hey, I'm down here!" She said quietly, over the comms. There was also Corporal Laurent within the area, but for the time being the two other ODSTs seemed to be stagnant. She had two choices. It was to either deal with these enemies herself, or retreat and regroup.

Victoria pondered on the decision, wondering what would come with what. If she engaged the enemies, then the ODSTs would realize where she was and come to assist, but if she retreated, then the enemies would probably converge onto her. That thought cemented Victoria's decision, and she decided to engage them on her own. She grabbed a grenade from her person, priming it and chucking it towards the Covenant squad, hopefully their reflexes being too slow to realize that there was a grenade right there to blow them up. As it rolled towards the main section of grunts and jackals, she could hear a grunt make its signature scream, before the sound of a grenade exploding. As soon as the grenade exploded, she dove out of her cover, rolling to a crouched stance as she fired bursts towards any stragglers, hoping to attract the other ODSTs within the vicinity.

"Roger, that." Golovkin said as Amber split paths toward the back entrance of the hotel. He sprinted toward the two privates from 2nd Squad and joined them in the firefight. After spending most of his time on Solace trying not to get killed by its own infrastructure, it was an odd relief for Robert to finally be in a fight. "We need to hose these bastards quick." Golovkin said in-between squeezing M739 rounds into the enemy patrol. He pegged two grunts, one through the chest, and another on the gas canister strapped on its back. It was in this moment where Golovkin overheard Corporal Davis' comm message.

"Get out of there the building is about to fall on top of you guys. You don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine. Davis out."

Golovkin felt a lump in his throat as several grenade explosions went off inside the hotel, staggering the covenant patrol unit in the process. "Shit, Davis what the hell are you doing!?" He pressed his chin down on the comm button of his helmet. "Gunny, I hope you and Davis are hauling ass." Robert looked up as he felt the all too familiar sound of a building ready to topple over. "Cause that hotel ain't waiting for new years to drop!" He glanced over to Wiley and Tuck before refocusing on the covenant patrol now in disarray with the sudden turn of events. "Gentlemen, lets maintain this position and pick these fucks off!" Golovkin dashed over to the backside of a parked vehicle for cover, and together, with Wiley and Tuck, fired directly into the covenant patrol.

Davis was still sitting on the elevator floor and waited until the building finally collapsed so he could get out of it. He then heard someone gasping and then it stopped and became quiet until he heard Amber's voice. She said, "Davis your free to come out now, the building won’t last much longer!", when he heard that he got back up and said, "Thanks, Amber.". He then walked to the ceiling, which he came in, and opened it as he began climbed on top of it. It took time for him to get on top of the elevator and to get on the lobby floor, but he did and ran to Amber. Amber had her SMG at the ready quietly scanning the room for any other hostiles in the room, she knelt down and retrieved two plasma grenades and a plasma pistol from the dead grunt and jackal she had killed. She spotted Davis coming from the elevator and running towards her. "No problem, now lets get out of here." Amber said started to make a run towards the front door.

"Yeah, I'd like to not be under a building, that can kill us" said Davis as he followed Amber, as she was heading to the front door. A pillar was going to fall on top of Amber and Davis saw that and rushed to Amber and pushed her to the outside. Davis backed away for the door as the pillar fell, causing it to break into large pieces, and he was stuck in the hotel. Either if he found a way out, he couldn't out run the building falling to the ground. Davis looked at Amber after he had pushed her and said, "Sorry for pushing you, but I had to save your life.". Amber stumbled forward as she was suddenly shoved out of the way by Davis, she rolled onto the ground aiming her assault rifle back just in time to see a support pillar had suddenly fallen nearly crushing her. Worried for her fellow comrade Amber sighed in relief when she heard Davis's voice through the radio the building was starting to shake violently as more of it started to fall to the streets below. "Get out of there Davis that's an order!" Amber yelled backing up even further from the collapsing building.

Davis heard Amber's voice once more, saying for him to get and that it was an order and he laughed. "Amber, you know that there no way out." Davis walked towards the elevator as he felt the ground below him shake. He should be running, but he knows that he can't make it out alive, and said something to Amber, "Get out of there before you get kill, they need you. You're the leader, miss. I'm just a ODST soldier.". As he was saying that to Amber, Davis grabbed another plasma pistol, that belonged to a grunt before his dead and walked to the elevator. He got to the elevator and got on top of it as he said, "I'll just hide at the elevator and live, because I know that I'll. But If I don't, tell Golovkin that I'm sorry for that joke.".

He opened the ceiling door and jumped inside as he closed it and sat down on the ground and back up to the wall. "Good luck, Amber. I'll tell Watts and the others, that you and the others are doing well. That's if I don't make it.". He placed down his shotgun and the plasma pistol next to him and placed the light machine gun on top of his legs and whistled.

"Shit!" Acosta cursed as she saw the plasma grenade fly her way. The corpsman quickly picked herself up and threw herself out of the kill radius and away from the blast to the groundin order to protect her chest and head. The grenade exploded and the blast hit her hard, but she was wasn't hurt, but over the radio she could hear that McCoy was down over the comms. She was in trouble at the moment and had to deal with these covies before making her way over, but once the enemy was suppressed she'd be the first to give him the proper attention he needed.

Acosta fired at the remaining grunts which acted as cannon-fodder. She was getting ready for Archer and April to handle this intersection so she render aid to McCoy.

"You all right, Sergeant?" she waved at Archer.

"I think we got it, just three jackals, three grunts and an Elite Minor" He yelled back, turning the corner and firing off several shots from his DMR at one of the Jackals, who stumbled back under the impact, giving an open view of his right leg, which was promptly smashed by a DMR shot, forcing the Jackal to the floor as it hollered in pain. He fired off another shot, cracking its skull and ending its misery. He popped back into cover and checked the shots left in his clip. Four.
Enough for some grunts He popped out of the corner, taking aim quickly and firing. One, two. The grunts armour cracked and it fell down with a chilling squeal. He adjusted his aim and... Purple crystals and green orbs
"Oh shit..." He fired his last to shots wildly as he popped back towards his life saving wall, but was too slow to avoid the first of the hostiles shots. The green bolt hit his armoured chest and sent him stumbling. The plasma sizzled and he could feel its heat on his chest, but thankfully his now scarred chest plate held. He knew that much before looking, if it hadn't his innards would have been soup. His own shots had both been misses, as one might expect...
He heard a squeal from around the corner, and the distinctive panting sound of a panicking grunt. Sure enough, one had turned to rout out of fear, yelling "Imps!" as loud as he could. Then there was a sickening crack and the yelling stopped. The Elite had cracked the grunts skull with his plasma rifle, killing him to frighten the remaining members of the covenant lance into obedience. Apparently it worked, because the barrage of shots grew more ferocious...
One grunt, two Jackals, One Elite.
He removed the clip from his DMR, tossing it to the floor and loading in a new one, locking it. He yelled out an order "Corpsman, go check on McCoy. Private, help me take down this split jaw!" He called out, turning his head towards the alley and preparing another attack

Just as the fighting seemed to calm down Tenjer sighed and took a breath. But then he oddly looked up, he could hear a faint sound coming from above.

"aaaaa....." was what he could hear... as if someone was... falling? That can't be right...
"Aaaaaaa", but it was getting louder... Then all the sudden a humanoid figure appeared dropping from the sky.
"AAAAAAAAH!" whoever it was falling they feel to quickly for Tenjer to properly react and he was repelled back by a giant force sending him flying into a building wall.

For a few moments later, all of his squadmates seemingly propelled back as well by the force... probably all unconcious from the blow. But standing in the center was the man he saw falling from the sky.
The man stood there on top of a landing crater, as if he landed right on his feet with no issue. Before Tenjer could event say anything the man simply yelled "ODER BLOCKER BODY WASH IS TOO POWERFUL TO LET THIS ROLEPLAY END!!!".

Jaw dropped in amazement, Tenjer could only watch as the mysterious man seemingly charged off straight at the enemy space by himself. No gun, no armor, just carrying a can of... body wash?
The man ran up to the base and was soon met by a Shanghelli Zealot. He approached energy sword out... He spoke "Old Spice body wash can't beat the Convenant...". The man instantly exclaimed "WHAT!?", punches the Shanghelli down and goes "This one does dummy! It's super powerful Odor Blocker body wash!". He then charges into the base yelling "AAAAAAAH!".

Aliens from all directions begin to swarm him, but he simply punches and kicks each of the aliens and their plasma shots aside masterfully yelling "Block! Block! Block!" as he does so. He get's to the rogue AI's main computer, he kicks it and the entire computer falls to pieces as he yells "JELLY KICK!", and then suddenly he screams "EXPLOSIONS!!!!!" and just like that the entire base explodes just as if it detonated a mini-nuclear bomb.

Among all the rubble once the smoke goes away, the man is still standing there... Unharmed and holding his can of body wash. An fatally wounded Hunter slowly creeps up to him, only for the man to suddenly yell "POTATO CHIPS!", and the hunter suddenly explodes into a Vending Machine. The man punches the vending machine, pulls out a bag of potato chips and eats one to celebrate his victory. Then his chest muscles seem to twitch, making a engine reeving sound. Then suddenly he launches back into the sky yelling "POWEEEEER!!!".
