Ron just wasn't good at feelings. He was a good guy all along. They really downplayed it in HP4. He HATED Harry. Truly hated him but they really down played it. Which is nice for the sake of feelings but it wasn't true. Ron was even more bitter.

No! I understand what they mean though. Ron was much better in the books and almost completely flat in the movies. He seemed more like comic relief than anything. Which is sad.. However, no matter their flaws, the three of them hold a place in the hearts of so many now. Book or movie form.

I totally agree. I love every version of these nerds, even when they get treated like shit by their creative medium. Fanfic and RP are how we fix this anyways. And we will always have the books <3

I actually use Harry as a Slytherin in my personal canon for certain roleplays, bc I think it hammers home the "choice over fate" theme more and deals with that obnoxious Gryffindor bias in the books. I also love Cassius Warrington as the Hogwarts champion jn the Triwizard Tournament. I love Cedric, don't get me wrong, but HNGHHHH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO COOL *.*

OOhh, that's an interesting take on him. Good choice too. I do think that works a little better too. I don't think the Hat should choose preference over what truly lays within. I've used George in a dozen different HP roleplays and seen him grow and develop in so many different ways, no matter how I look at him, even if he's a slightly different character, whether it's Post-HP or Pre-HP I always see him as a Slytherin. It seems so strange to have him Gryfindor, even if our George is the son of the previous George who was my first and favourite character of all time. Knowing a character well and knowing how they think should put them in a house not preference. I think it would also be interesting to know what would have happened to Harry if he didn't have the other two to help him along.

We still have to decide what we're going to do for our Triwizard Tournement XD It's a good few RP years away but still XD

I always feel like the house should sort based both on learning styles and values. Like, tactile to Gryffindor, independent reading to ravenclaw, group slash artistic to hufflepuff, group and connective to Slytherin.

I went silvery lavender! It needs some touchups, because getting fucking red out of my ends has been a goddamn nightmare. I'm rebleaching it in ~three weeks and touching up the lavender ombre then. For now, I'm just going to play with manic panic while my hair recovers. Altho, my hair actually feels amazingly awesome and I had almost no breakage. The hair gods smiled upon me *_*

Haha, yeah, I'm babying the shit out of it like extra crazy. I'm really protective of my hair, it's absurd P: I've been having my hair coloured, usually to red, for weellll over ten years now, but this is the first time I've gone platinum light. I had white hair until I was like, 6.

I'm going grey already, so I figured I might as well do it purposefully, haha!

It should be okay then if you're taking good care of it. It'll only go bad if you don't. A girl I used to work with is white blonde, so much bleach... So many split ends.. She's pretty though so it doesn't really matter :/

Crazy damage is usually unavoidable with bleach--I spent some extra cash and got a product that rebuilt the bonds in my hair and used it with the bleach. I was able to sit with bleach and 40 vol on my head for an hour and a half and my hair came out stronger than before. This olaplex shit is fucking sorcery.

Yeah, it's the shit! I bought the travelers lot off of Amazon, but I'm definitely buying the full $200+ bottle after I get paid again. It's so worth it!

OH MY GOD SO GOOD. I've been painting like crazy and packing up the house for our move in October. It feels so good to just breathe!

EDIT: Here's the kit that I bought in particular. I had plenty of No. 1 for my hair, but it's about halfway between my chin and shoulders, so your mileage may vary.
