The film was fantastic but the book <3 It's amazing! I am outright in love. I've finished it once and am already rereading because it was just that funny and well written :3

Whidbey is like, ~30 miles north of Seattle, about 1.5 hours to get there because, well, island. But it's gorgeous! It has some amazing fishing and hiking and I'm really excited to move there. It's hella pricy though, and finding dog friendly housing is proving to be difficult.

I LOVE DEVIL WEARS PRADA AHHHHHH. I read the book ages ago, but SKDJDK YESS. <3 <3 <3 right now it's mostly been gaming, RPing, date nights with husbandito and such. So much fun!

Nah, rentals wise it's reaaally hard to get dog friendly in most places. Kitsap/Seattle are weird in just how dog friendly they are. It's complicated because our big nerd is a pittie/mastiff mix and people are dumb and think pit bulls are vicious. >:

Haha, Basically! TFtBL is HYSTERICAL. OMG. YES. I was a little hesitant when I first heard about it, but it is really awesome. The characters are amazing and the story is compelling and clever. Plus, Loader-Bot and Gortys are totes adorbs. 9999/10 would recommend.

Playing Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel is pretty important to understand stuff. 1 isn't so necessary-- 2 explains everything that happened really well, and the gameplay of 1 is just so bleh. I played it after 2 and I don't feel like it was really worth it.

Husbandito and I are planning on getting the Handsome Collection after PAX.

I went Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Friday was my Maya cosplay. I have to bug husbandito for photos, but here is one I found from the Gearbox photoshoot. I’m the Maya furthest to the left. I want to remake it…again hahahaa

Friday was p good! We played Battleborn, which is amazing, walked around the expo hall, did the photoshoot and then went to the Inside Gearbox Panel. All of us cosplayers got to be in a wedding!!! It was awesome <3 We went home after that, bc sleepy.

Saturday we played more games—husbandito played Magic while I went off with a friend and played ten million indie games. I got to play the new King’s Quest, which was amazeballs. We went to the crowdplay of Episode 4 from Tales From the Borderlands and omfg it was amazing!! We made loads of friends in the line and got steam keys for every Telltale game ahhhhh

Monday I cosplayed Black Widow again! I still need to get photos from husbandito and friendo, but we did a Tony Stark, Widow and Scarlet Witch group <3 It was awesome! Here are are my favorite shots from the impromptu photoshoot. Our Scarlet Witch only came on Monday so we mostly played games she wanted to, explored, and had lunch with some press friends of ours. C: I spent 2 hours in line to play Sword Coast Legends, haha, and it was totes worth it! *_*

Awww, thanks! I actually really hate my Maya cosplay, I'll probably make it for a third time at some point. II sort of just taught myself how to sew last year, but I am def still learning.

I made Widow as well, and I'm actually going to make a new catsuit soon as the current one is reaching the end of its life. I'm going to 3D print an hourglass buckle and some widow's bites as well :) I'd love to make the Age of Ultram costume but I think that is too complex for my skills right now

It was awesome! At least in my opinion. Pax must have been so good! I'll get excited a little more when I'm not in so much pain XD I'm so jealous! Really? Only last year?! Wow... That's crazy. I expected it to be so much longer. Where do you get all the blueprints (not the right word) for you cosplays? Or do you just make it up?
You've got until next year, you could always practise. It doesn't seem to difficult :)

Also I love how we've set it up for a Theo and Brennan to battle it out XD Their rivalry makes me smile so much. As much as I want Theo to win, he's a total prick, so I kind of don't XD Hes a complete selfish prick and I have a special place in my heart for him XD that's so strange... Nothing is more funny than how this will play out. I mean Theo's a chaser, he's going to be fast on a broom, it's who he is, but then there's Brennan, who hates him, not that we've explored why yet but they're a duo we can't ignore XD

I did a lot of googling, haha! For Maya, I ordered a leotard pattern, made a mockup and then drew the pattern of armor onto that. Next time I need to give myself some seam allowance and stitch the pieces together instead of onto a base leotard haha! And I sewed an invisible zipper and dkdbdmdkdh SO HARD

I bought the catsuit for Black Widow and made the hourglass belt and widow's bites. I just bought a pattern for a full catsuit and I'm hunting for a nice matte, textured spandex to make a more robust suit. That should actually be pretty easy to make, thankfully!

RIGHT?? I am so stoked for the inevitable HURRRR DURR WE ARE BOYS AND ANGRY GRR fight.
