I'm actually doing pretty well. Xmas was good, just four of us this time (smallest holiday I have ever hosted--I usually average around 15 people). I surprised him on his trip to California a few weeks ago and we had a good time. Met his dad, saw some cool geology, ate so much delicious food. I miss him, but I've got my family and friends, so it'll be alright. Once I manage to get a job it'll be way easier haha

Awwh that sounds super sweet and cozy. I bet he was surprised, it would have been lovely :) it will be okay, you miss people but in time it gets easier and you look forward to them coming back more :)

It was awesome. He cried, I cried, it was great.

It's almost like he isn't really gone--he has Facebook underway and has been able to call a few times. He was a submariner before and I would get like, 10 emails total over the whole 90+ days he was gone. He's a surfacer now and we're just like, super spoiled. It's amazeballs!

I think we planned for a big Azkaban break out though! That seems perfectly horrible for Halloween at Hogwarts.

I'm sure it was either on here or in a pm, I don't remember ^^ I'm sure we did plan that actually, but for the life of me, I cannot remember if we planned that for this school year to the next.

I think we scheduled the Ambrosia plot for this year, but we are no means beholden to that. Maybe we just have the Azkaban breakout, but no one can find the prisoners as they're off getting recruited to the new dark douchebags awful cause???

Ooh yes! That would make for an interesting build up for a few years! We could always use it as the Halloween special and build the ambrosia plot from there :)
