Kai shrugged a little, “Did you never hear rumours flying around while you were getting pampered up to the realms of beyond? There are so many things the Elites do behind our backs that you don’t think they live a luxurious life just under that of the King? We all know the King has a massive complex of luxurious spa treatment”. There had always been hope of a better life in the lowest of ranks and when it came to imagining what the highest class got up to it was always something that was well over the top and just believable enough to be true. Thinking all too greatly about what it meant to be free, Kai almost forgot what they were supposed to be doing as his attention went back to Takeshi.
“Huh, a party? Over what? It’s not the King’s birthday”, Kai sighed, scratching his head, “I don’t know why you’d think they’d invite you to a party anyway after all the trouble you’ve caused us by dragging us out to this side of the galaxy, anyway”. These thoughts they were having were getting quite out of hand when they should had been thinking about solving this mystery and finding where the crew had gone before they ended up finding a bunch of corpses which would leave this ship a waste of a time to conquer; they wanted to feel at home in the ship, not be reminded of the constant stench of death.
“You know, if we do get this ship, we’ll have so many supplies to ourselves, right?” Choi spoke up, scratching his stomach, “Even if they didn’t fill the stock completely, we easily could and that cold storage could feed an entire army of Saiyans. This place even has training rooms big enough to fit a Kardashkar beast in it…with interchangeable gravity, self-repair and simulations…man, who’d think we’d take over a flying military base, huh? Even if the beds are kinda crappy…”
“Choi, we can think about that stuff later; we’re almost at the control room”, Kai spoke, looking up and down the corridor, “Anybody feel anything yet? It’s as if there’s something faint, but doesn’t feel like a warrior…think there could be workers still? Think we can take them for ourselves…?” If they could get some specialists on board it would definitely make their ride a lot easier than having a few of them running around such a large ship trying to keep everything in top order, even if the ship would self-repair itself in time. A place like this needed to be kept in check and having some extra people on board willing to travel the galaxy with them in rebellion and for freedom would had been handy.
Viral definitely didn’t like what he was picking up in this place, as if it was that energy that could disable him all over again. The Saiyans had that technology and it was definitely something he despised, his recently regenerated stomach twisting at the thought of it being used in a place like this. If he was getting that feeling in a Saiyan vessel then that couldn’t had been a good thing, even if it was possibly not entirely the same but very close to being so. Looking out the main screen as the hangar closed, he let out a sigh before his attention went to Yumi, an eyebrow raising briefly.
“Why would I tell you where to go without me looking first? I don’t want you getting hurt, nor am I afraid of it”, he spoke, feeling a little agitated already. With Vegeta practically giving orders in his ear through the scouter, Viral grumbled a little as he made his way out of the ship, he looked back as T’charrl picked up Shu out of his chair and decided to wait until Yumi had moved forward as well. It was a little rough, but if they could keep together here then maybe the strange feeling he was getting would go once he was out of the squashed space that was the little ship. Letting out a sigh, he pressed his scouter, looking into Vegeta’s direction, “I can go look for another console somewhere. There shouldn’t be one too far from here in the engine rooms most likely”.
