Viral couldn’t control himself, his body was near enough stopped from doing anything else through a brick wall that had suddenly situated itself in front of him. His own organic body was acting like a malfunctioning machine, his body left in pain as he was quickly taken out of the crossfire and up into the air. Despite not being touched by the creature other than being grabbed a couple of times, he couldn’t keep his pain receptors from going crazy and sending him into shock. Twitching in Vegeta’s grasp, he fought for control over his senses.

This was the same as what happened against the Elite back on the other planet; his energy had been low at the time and he had seized up in his mech. He felt like he was going to die then and now he was having it just as bad with his awareness raised with understanding to what was happening. Seeking control of himself, he soon ceased being tense and just went into a more exhausted state, his mind not really finding focus quite yet as Vegeta spoke up, simply getting angry instead, “Don’t call it a knife!” he growled but soon ended up coughing, his nose bleeding.

Both Kai and Choi were worried over what they might encounter at the engine room, especially if the blast came from there and had managed to damage something. Their lives wouldn’t be able to take off on a new course if they couldn’t get this ship, it’d be a case of them either running away onto some random planet or having to join the rebels to survive without taking everything from Takeshi’s group. It was definitely a difficult decision they’d have to consider if it ever came to that.

Continuing along towards the engine room was leaving an uneasy feeling in their minds, the uncertainty of this strange feeling leading to some worrying thoughts. It was quite odd, but it was such an unknown threat that it was getting to their minds pretty badly and inducing fear into their minds. If they ended up finding the engine room in ruins because of this monster then that was it, but if they found the monster there then they would have to fight for the safety of the entire ship. As they all stopped at the door to the room, the faint light that was creeping in through it definitely managed to scare Choi a little as he nodded at Takeshi, frowning, “Man, it must be in there…” he spoke, stepping back a little, “This is bad…”

Viral didn’t want to have to be carried like this; he was feeling very unsettled and not very well so being in the air was just not doing his mind very well. Not really understanding what Vegeta wanted to do with him like this, he stared down at the beast before a noise distracted him pretty quickly. Looking to the door, it appeared the Saiyans had managed to find their way here, probably upon the assumption that something bad was happening down here. With an attack from the beast managing to catch them off-guard, they still managed to hit the beast away with a solid punch.

They probably didn’t need his help as much as they might had thought, seeing as how he was practically malfunctioning and probably going to die on his own anyway. Maybe if he could get in a few more hits everything would be okay and the monster could be finished off, Viral ending up having a wriggle around to try and get out of Vegeta’s grip, “Let go of me! I don’t need your help!”

Vegeta bit back some annoyed comments as Viral struggled to get free, trying to help his friend out. Just a moment to recuperate, that's all this was. It would be nigh impossible to know whether or not the Beastman was truly up to this task, seeing him lock up like that had him worrying an awful lot. If they kept together like this then he could act as the legs, move Viral around and let him get in some good slashes with his blade. Before he could relay his plan there was a sound at the door, drawing everyone's attention over to the engine room's exit. To Vegeta's surprise the doors began to part, and on the other side were Takeshi and his squad, looking properly astonished at the view inside. The monster took notice of the newcomers as well, charging headlong towards Kabocha in a fitful rage. In almost an amusing show the other Saiyan knocked the monster back with one solid punch, sending it tumbling back and finally landing on its back, sprawled out in a daze. That was good, right? It gave them a second to recuperate and figure out how they were going to deal with the monster. Viral apparently thought a second was much too long.

"But... Gah... Fine, you want to fight?" Vegeta asked, giving a frustrated shake of his head. If they didn't give Viral this then he'd be sulking again later, he needed this chance to fight, healthy or not. With the monster vulnerable at the moment it was all the better that he get a chance now. Swooping down then he set his friend on his feet, going immediately for the monster as it was scrambling to its feet. They had to keep it on the defensive, otherwise Viral was liable to get seriously hurt. Once close enough the Saiyan brought a knee up, catching the monster right in the jaw and making it stagger sideways, trying to stay up. Twisting himself around he then brought his leg down on the monster's head, knocking it back onto its stomach with its legs splayed out to its sides. Only then did Vegeta finally back off, watching the monster closely for any signs of danger.

The monster just could not catch a break. Losing a leg, getting nearly knocked out by a Saiyan and now beat down by another, today simply wasn't its day. It couldn't flee though, there was nowhere for it to go other than this ship. With the pang in its stomach increasing gradually it was reminded that this had to work, it had to bring at least one of these people down. Master would not be happy with it if it failed to kill anyone too, and while it would return home it would not return home on a happy note. Beatings, whippings, harsh words, none of these things were particularly enticing. All the more incentive to successfully devour one of these people, or perhaps all. So long as it got a good chunk of flesh its body would repair itself, and if it could sustain the process these fighters would never be able to kill the creature. Finally having a moment to get up it clambered to its remaining feet, facing off against Viral once more. He was the weakest, and he was bleeding. The monster could smell it, this one was the easiest target. That weapon was lethal if it connected, but the man behind it vulnerable, it could do this. Growling hungrily it barreled at the Beastman, simply opening its mouth up wide as it loomed over him, trying to bite down on his shoulder.

Viral was fair impatient right now, especially when the others were now here. They didn’t believe in his strength and were constantly trying to reassure him that he was probably stronger than they were, but all those were doubts and lies just to stop him from ‘moaning’ as they called it. If he had to go down then he’d show them what he was made of before that happened and that he wasn’t helpless, he didn’t need others to baby him just because of some condition. The Saiyans were too scared of the monster, they couldn’t kill it with their punches or their Ki so naturally they were scared. Viral wasn’t scared, death wasn’t something he was afraid of even when he knew his fate in the afterlife.

Keeping his head low when Vegeta groaned at him, he looked to the ground as he was gradually lowered, finally able to stand on his own feet for once. Rubbing his arms slowly, he looked back a little and gave his face a wipe before he looked back to Vegeta, “I don’t want to be flown around, anyway…” He knew there was something he could do, but so long as he was able to kill the monster then it would be worth the effort and power behind his next attack. Watching as Vegeta moved in to give the monster a good few hits, he slowly moved into position and got himself ready to attack the monster.

Hard knocks wasn’t going to do it, the monster was definitely resistant to solid hits. It was definitely a case that he was the only one with the weapon here that could successfully damage this monster. Watching it carefully, he gave it a steady stare as he held onto his cleaver, his hands shaking slightly in his weak moment as he concentrated his power to prevent a moment like before. He had one shot at this, the others wouldn’t be able to stop this thing.

Keeping steady and watching the creature, he locked his gaze upon it and waited until it finally came running at him. Viral didn’t move, instead he kept concentrated and still as it came straight for him. The monster may had been terrifying to the young Saiyans, the thought of death approaching was probably not the most comfortable thought to them; however, to Viral he was just holding off death when he should had been killed years ago. Growling lowly, he watched the monster come barrelling towards him before he made a sudden movement, bringing his cleaver up. The moment he moved out from his shoulders sprouted ghostly yet solid arms, a long blade in each of the hands before he suddenly pushed forward, forcing all blades at the beast and immediately swiping them at it, trying to cut it up before it could get to him.

Sending the entirety of its mass hurtling towards Viral the monster would be on him within a few seconds. It needed a meal, it needed the energy, and the Beastman was the easiest bet. With momentum propelling it forward there was no helping things, it had to see this charge through. So when it saw Viral suddenly transform before its eyes, sprouting several more arms with more weapons to boot, there was little that could be done. With a renewed aggression that terrified the beast his prey came directly for him, all of the blades striking down at its already injured body. It was close, oh so close to getting what it needed, and with a final leap it rose up into the air, crashing down towards the Beastman with its mouth agape. Its teeth were but inches from Viral's shoulder, its hot, rancid breath blowing across his torso as it tried to sink its teeth into his flesh. Suddenly stopping in mid air the monster froze, utterly lost as to why it wasn't able to reach the Beastman. Then the pain finally registered, the feeling of several weapons shoved deep into its body, nearly protruding out the opposite end. With one in its upper body, one through its midsection and the final in its neck it wasn't going anywhere. Letting out a soft, gurgling noise that was a pitiful growl its red eyes shifted, looking at Viral astonished. Time to go back to Master, it was done here.

Takeshi watched from the doorway, not wanting to get in the way of Viral's fight. He had to do this for himself, even if he was running on fumes now. Vegeta had recognized that too and let him down to finish things, it was the Beastman's moment to shine. Just for good measure he'd keep himself in the now wide open doorway in case the creature should try to run off. The others in the hangar didn't know what was going on, there was no way they could, Preferably it should be kept that way. Once the monster was on its feet again it the attack resumed, it was intently trained on Viral. In spite of missing a leg it moved fairly quickly, looking fair intimidating as it bore down on the Beastman with its mouth slack and teeth bared. Once it got close enough the monster jumped up, probably hoping to use its massive size to overwhelm Viral and bring him down. To the surprise of everyone Viral had more than a suitable answer to the attack, sprouting his ethereal arms as he had done a few times before. Each hand gripping a blade they thrust forward, easily finding their target. The hard skin did little to protect the creature from the piercing power of the Beastman's attack, and in short three blades struck the monster. For a second it simply hung there, motionless and soundless while propped up on the swords. With one final sorry little growl the monster began to fade into smoke, its body vanishing from the entry wounds out until it was no more. Not quite the end for the beast any of them had expected, what kind of creature turned into smoke?

Well this was certainly odd. Kabocha didn't quite know what to make of the creature vanishing before their eyes, or the strange limbs Viral was now sporting. It was safe to say they were free from the beast now, there wasn't a single trace of it left anywhere. Huh, so much for it being the terror that the engineers had made it out to be. Creepy sure, big yeah, but not powerful at all. Not if the Beastman had beaten it, considering he was pretty out of it himself. Now that the nasty little critter was dead they could commandeer the ship, yeah? And those little tech gremlins had agreed to help them run the vessel, all the better.

"Nice, tore that thing apart!" Takeshi exclaimed, grinning broadly as he walked over to Viral. Lifting a hand to pat him on the back he stopped, looking at the ethereal arms uncertainly and dropping it back at his side. "Jeez those things are handy. Er... No pun intended."

"Har har har. But seriously, nice job Viral, you made easy work of that... Whatever it was." There was a bit of the strength that they all knew Viral had. Given it was hardly what he normally fought with, but they more than got the job done. Vegeta put his hands on his hips as he surveyed the room, checking what little damage had been caused by the brief battle. The floor was scorched where the blasts had collided, the railing was near snapped at the point the beast had collided with it, and now that he saw it there were several deep indentations and cuts along the ceiling where it had been climbing with its talons. Nothing critical though, both the thrusters themselves and the engine and control panel were completely unharmed. It'd fly just well then, that monster had only been an inconvenience.

Viral could feel his blades cut into the monster, his attack doing the damage he intended and his battle won for now. He had used a lot to stop the creature, more than it might have seemed, but it had done the job. Staring at the creature with focused eyes, he gave one final yank of his blades as the monster dissipated into nothing just like its leg did before. Whatever it was didn’t matter anymore or why it had appeared, all that mattered right now was that it was gone and off the ship. Slowly lowering his arms, the swords vanished as well while he slowly sheathed his cleaver back into its hold.

Choi could barely believe what he had seen, it was almost as if the creature was going to be a whole lot of trouble but instead the Beastman had managed to take it out easily using some strange technique involving sprouting arms. Looking to his brother before to Kabocha, he didn’t think the other two could comprehend the beast either and would simply have to accept that its gone with no evidence that it was even there. So much for getting to eat its remains, especially considering even whatever had become of its leg had gone too.

Viral stared down at the same spot as Takeshi came walking on over, his head hardly registering his approach. Staring down at the floor, he kept his breathing low but gave a short glance towards him when he reached up to him only to withdraw at the sight of his extra arms. Making a little turn away from him, he tensed up slightly as Vegeta decided to speak up as well. He wouldn’t say it was easy, in fact he was currently struggling with his own battle to keep going strong and appear able to the rest of the crew.

Staring down at his claws for a brief moment, he soon managed to withdraw the arms back into his body, his body wobbling on his feet for a brief moment before he placed his paw on his chest as he soon started having a hard time breathing. Letting out a disruptive cough he closed his eyes for a moment, trying to gather his energy so he could keep going. Vegeta was sure taking his time getting back to the job he was meant to do, it wasn’t as if there was another monster around when he was pretty much free from that unsettling feeling and there wasn’t a trace of it in sight.

Kai felt pretty confused over everything, especially when Viral did that strange thing and killed the monster, probably. He didn’t have that strange unsettling feeling anymore, everything had returned to normal and now there was simply the engine room and the noise of it working just as it should. Looking to Takeshi before he let out a sigh, he pointed his thumb to Vegeta, “Shouldn’t we tell your friend about what we found? You know, since you’re still the team leader, Takeshi?” he spoke up, giving a quick glance to Kabocha, “It’s not like you didn’t talk to those engineers in the control room…or told them you could stay…or the fact that we should get the ship out of here before the Saiyan army returns”.

"I thought Kabocha was team leader now...? I defected after all." Takeshi pointed out, frowning as he scratched at his head. "And if we've all defected... Well there's no real leader, we all kind of work together." He could certainly tell Vegeta what had happened at least, seeing as he was the one who had more or less brought it on them. "Uh... But yeah. We found some engineers back in the control room, they told us about the monster. And... Since I figured we'll need help piloting this thing and they kind of hate the Saiyans too I offered for them to join us... Which they're going to do." Ah crap, that's right, they were on a very strict schedule here. Biting his lip he looked at Vegeta hopefully, gesturing to the open door. "We should get this thing moving, especially after that little fight. You ready to fly?"

"You offered for more people to join us, in spite of not really knowing their intentions?" Vegeta rolled his eyes, letting out a sigh before putting his face in his hand. Lovely, they could well have a group of the enemy with them now, the engineers could well have said all of that to save their own skins. Maybe that was a touch too cynical, he couldn't know for certain what was going on. Looking at Takeshi he gave a curt nod of his head, making way to the door but stopping at Viral. "Hey... Good job, seriously. I'm thinking it's probably a good idea to get you to a healing tank now, if you're okay with it. Have Takeshi take you there, I've got to get us moving." Patting the Beastman on the shoulder he hurried along, jogging past the others as he tried to rush along to the bridge at the opposite end. While running he reached up, turning on his scouter to speak. "Yumi? Shu? Everything is all set in here. If you two want to help everyone get inside we can take off in a few moments. There's plenty of rooms, just pick out one for yourselves for the time being."

Well darn. Taking Viral to the healing room wasn't quite what Takeshi had in mind once they got the ship. A shower was definitely still in order, and some food for that matter. With no distractions at the moment he could focus on the two things inconveniencing him most. For the sake of his friend though he'd postpone those a little longer, it wasn't like he was starving anyways. There was one minor flaw with Vegeta's plan too; just where in the hell were the healing pods? Picking up on the clearly flustered look on his face Kabocha was gracious enough to provide an answer.

"About a quarter of the way down the hall we took to get here," Kabocha pointed out, smiling slightly amused. "I'd think you would have seen it on the way down dude, heads up much?"

"Too busy making sure the engines weren't about to blow up," Takeshi retorted, smirking before turning back to Viral and motioning for him to follow. Seeing the trail of blood at his nose he worried a bit, wondering if it was just a bloodied nose or perhaps something more. While wanting to avoid making the Beastman feel weak there was a certain degree that he had to express caution, it wasn't a secret that he wasn't holding up too well. "Can you walk Viral? It's not that far, I just don't want you having a tough time of it getting there."

Kai shook his head, “You’re the one who took lead of accepting those aliens onto the ship and ran on down here first. That’s probably as much as being a ‘leader’ as you could get”, he sighed, backing off a little, “You’re still acting like a leader too, so unless you truly believe that we are all equal then you can keep that thought”. Kai didn’t really like the idea of there being no leader, especially considering he had gone on through his life always following a leader. With no insult intended towards Kabocha, he didn’t really have leader qualities when he was fair impatient and couldn’t really focus.

Viral wasn’t really focusing much right now, it was as if the blood was simply draining from his head and his senses were gradually dying down, his mind not quite staying in the same place. He was running on fumes, his body finding it difficult to manage the strength with his condition only making him feel worse. He just wanted to die right now, there was no point on continuing on if this was going to constantly happen to him. Slowly lifting his paw, he wiped his nose before simply holding it up to his face, slowly looking towards Vegeta as he spoke. He’d be fine with going into a healing tank if he was actually injured and not just weakened to a small percentage of his original energy levels, but right now he just felt he might pass out.

Yumi would probably have a fit if she saw him like this, bleeding his brains out through his nose. Watching as Vegeta took off he slowly moved his paw from his face, he turned to look at Takeshi who looked not all that sure about taking him anywhere or showing him where the pods were. It was probably just as well, the guy was a pain with his own complaining and was probably more concerned with other things. Slowly turning towards the door, he looked back to Takeshi when he finally decided to take his time and take him to these tanks.

Viral didn’t know how these tanks operated, they were probably much different compared to the ones of the past and only modern Saiyans would know how to use them. Staring at Takeshi as he spoke, his eyebrow twitched before he growled lowly at him, giving him a steady glare, “Don’t…concern yourself with me…” he muttered before he slowly moved his foot forward, putting pressure on it for a moment before finally deciding to slowly walk after them, his steps weak like someone just coming out of surgery.

He wasn’t holding up very well, he knew that himself and couldn’t deny it, but he didn’t want to look weak after managing to destroy the dangerous stowaway beast. Going into the healing pod meant he would be forced to sleep, maybe that was better for him considering he struggled to get to sleep and stay that way. Sleeps was his main form of recovering and if he couldn’t sleep, his body would eventually become unable to support itself and he would eventually die. While he was trying to move by himself, he couldn’t help but cough into his paw and try to boot up his breathing again with that function struggling to keep going.

"I do think we're all equal! Maybe it's just a force of habit? I did sort of do this for a year after all." That was a lame excuse and Takeshi knew it. He really didn't have any business ordering anyone around, he had no right to. Now that he thought about it too he quite disliked the fact that anyone did as he told, who was he to say what should and shouldn't be done? "If one of you want to take charge sometime then by all means feel free, I won't stop you."

Right, enough of the politics of leading, there was a friend to be helping. Viral could really use that healing pod by the looks of things, and seeing as Takeshi had nothing else to do he could most certainly bring the guy there. Fair grateful to avoid getting into anything as well, keeping the pace relatively slow for the Beastman. Try as me might to put on bravado there was no hiding how utterly ragged he looked, he was slumping slightly not to mention his overall sickly appearance. Sleep was most definitely needed, and the pod would help him with that. Maybe once he was out they could give him a nice big meal too, if he'd be up for eating then. That was provided too of course they could actually find enough to get everyone's stomach filled, since apparently there wasn't a whole lot on the ship.

"What? I'm going to be concerned, it's what friends do. Telling us not to be concerned is like our telling you not to breath, it just doesn't work." Takeshi smiled kindly then, giving his head a shake and slowing a little more just as not to strain Viral more than he had to. "I'm just bringing you to the tank and getting you in, that's all. After that I'm going to help secure the ship, so don't worry, I won't be lingering over you." He'd probably come by on occasion to check how he was faring, since he may well be the only one who knew how to operate a pod. Vegeta could well figure it out, as could anyone really, but why go through the trouble when someone already had an idea.

Yumi perked up hearing her scouter come to life at Vegeta's command. Finally they could get going, people were beginning to become a touch restless down here. Or Kabocha's parents were anyways, they'd been at their significant others throats since they had gotten here more or less. It was becoming quite the bothersome thing to have to listen to, hopefully these news would settle everyone down. Slipping down off of the container she had perched upon she cleared her throat, giving her hands a hard clapping to get everyone's attention.

"Hey everybody! Listen up!" she shouted, waiting until all eyes were on her before continuing. "We've gotten the go ahead to join the others inside, so let's all get ourselves together and move along. Just to be safe I'll lead everyone through, they want us to find ourselves some bedrooms first." Wherever those might be. Not a whole ton of direction in that regard. Walking over to where Shu and T'charrl sat she smiled at them hopefully, leaning over and giving the former's nose a tiny tap. "Would you two mind bringing up the rear? I want to keep the parents safe, and we should escort them to do that. Thing you two big men can handle that?" she asked teasingly.

Now, for the matter of actually finding said bedrooms. The ship was big, like, really big. It had looked like there were two separate yet equally large level on the outside, and goodness knows how many rooms this place had then. Yumi didn't even know what floor to begin on, let alone at what side or end of the ship to search. They were going to need help, and with Vegeta already busy she'd need to call on one of the others. Sighing softly she put a finger to her scouter, holding up a finger for everyone to wait as she walked closer to the door.

"Hey, can someone come down to the hangar and show us to the rooms? We're kind of flying blind here."

Kai shrugged a little, “Yeah yeah, or you could say you were born with the innate instinct to take the lead because of where you came from”, he spoke, shaking his head, “Not that it matters, seeing as how we’re roaming around in the dark just now”. He knew he couldn’t be bothered with all that noise, it was difficult enough to get adjusted to being free than needing to worry about taking charge and knowing what they were supposed to do and where to go. Looking back to Takeshi, the moment he mentioned what Kai definitely didn’t want to do he looked to his brother to whom had the same idea and both quickly shook their heads.

Choi would take to take the lead, he didn’t even know where his own life was going nevermind having to take charge of everyone else’s. If he could just find some way to get peace then he would be happy with saying where they should go and what they should do, but quite frankly Choi was far from settled down and could barely think for himself, “No way! Are you crazy? We’re not even natural leaders”, he spoke before laughing a little, “You might as well put those aliens up top in charge if you think we could”.

Viral didn’t want anybody to be concerned, he didn’t even want anybody to be friends with him since all it did was cause them to be worried over him all the time. It was ironic that Takeshi mentioned the comparison, he was having a hard time breathing because his brain had decided it wasn’t important enough to keep functioning. He was gradually feeling the pain of it all, he couldn’t quite keep this stride by himself and yet he was still trying. Holding his paw to his chest, he growled lowly, “…Secure the ship, get the others moving…” he spoke lowly, closing his eyes for a moment, “Don’t…concern yourself…with me…”

In one jerked movement, Viral’s body simply collapsed, blood pouring from his mouth as he finally hit the floor. He was still moving, but his mind seemed to just disappear as he twitched. He was fair struggling to breathe still, but as far as his body was concerned he couldn’t function on the sliver of energy he had. Needless to say Choi immediately panicked when Viral suddenly collapsed, almost jumping into the air as he stumbled back in fright.

Shu and T’charrl had kept to themselves for most of the time with Shu grooming T’charrl’s fur as he just sat around wondering what he was doing. He was a strange little fellow and had simply agreed because it was keeping Shu busy and he probably would had been upset if he didn’t let him do it. Sitting calmly as Shu combed through his fur all while squeaking away happily, both of them were alerted to Yumi’s sudden shouting as they both looked up to her. Staring at Yumi as she approached the pair, Shu sniffled his nose while T’charrl slowly stood up, looking to the other Saiyans curiously just trying to figure out what she meant by that and where exactly they were going.

Despite being in a bit of a panic, hearing Yumi on the other side sparked up Choi’s attention and he quickly pressed on the button of his scouter, “Uhhh! Yumi! Uhhh…I-I’ll be right there!” he spoke in a panic, quickly backing off from the others as he cut off his connection, “Sorry! I can’t handle what’s happening!” Running off towards the hanger, he couldn’t help but feel nervous over everything that was happening. He didn’t know what was happening with Viral and it was freaking him out, but he wouldn’t be able to help there anyway with his own mental failings. Making his way to the hanger, he pressed his finger to the scouter again, “Gather up everyone and, uhh…h-head to the door we first went through…”

Takeshi really wished Viral would just let them help him out. Not for nothing, but he needed it, that much was obvious. As passive as they were trying to be with assistance it was high time they finally got around to doing something for him, whether he liked it or not. The pods would fix anything, both internally and externally. It would also rest his body and mind, more or less put him to sleep. The only thing it wasn't going to do was feed him, and hopefully he'd be more open to eating after he felt a little better. If not, well... There was always intravenous nutrition. Looking back at Viral again to tell him to lay off Takeshi instead let out a soft gasp when his friend abruptly collapsed, watching him land and seeing the blood slip out from between his lips. Okay, that was definitely not good.

"Oh crap... Hang on Viral!" Takeshi bit his lip nervously, kneeling down at the Beastman's side and looking at him uncertainly, not sure if moving him was the best idea. A quick glance showed no wounds externally, meaning this bleeding was internal. That was it then, like it or not they had to get him into the tank now, otherwise this could very well become fatal. Grabbing one of his friend's arms he slung it over his shoulder, shooting Kabocha a demanding look to help him out. Soon the two Saiyans had Viral supported between them, and they began a modest pace towards the healing room. So worried over the Beastman's condition Takeshi scarcely noticed that Choi had left, only realizing when he looked back to send one of the twins off at Yumi's behest. This was very much not a good thing, Viral hadn't done this before in spite of being rather ill. Was he getting worse then? Hopefully the tanks could fix him up.

Everyone had gotten together relatively easily, thank goodness for that. Kabocha's mom and dad were still snipping back and forth at one another, and Yumi was beginning to think that was just how they normally talked. Daiko was pleasantly quiet, probably in part due to not having anyone to speak to himself. She'd gladly have a conversation with him again if she wasn't trying to coordinate getting everyone inside. Once everyone had gathered together her scouter sounded again, and it was none other than Choi. Hardly able to hide her elation she smiled cheerfully at hearing him, turning her back to the group to mask it. Daiko knew how she felt, she didn't need everyone else knowing too.

"Uh... Okay, got it! We'll see you there in a minute." Yumi replied, finding her cheeks a light pink again. She'd liked him before, sure, at least she thought she had. Now though that she'd spoken up about it she found herself rather self conscious about seeing him again. There was this silly notion that somehow he would know how she felt and that would be that, her secret would be out. She wanted to say something, but on her own time, when she was ready. Sighing as she released the button on her scouter she led everyone to the door out of the hangar, bringing everyone into the corridor to wait for their escort.

Kai didn’t know what was happening but with Viral on the floor leaking blood out of his face, looking awfully close to simply giving up and dying. In a moment of hesitation Kai stepped back, watching as his brother quickly took off when Yumi came in to call just so he wouldn’t need to deal with this; while it was probably a lot deeper than that, the fact of the matter was that Choi had buggered off at the first moment he could. He could hardly blame him, this was a little worrying and he didn’t know what to do to help while all it looked like what was happening was the Beastman was finally going to kick the bucket like he always wanted.

“Has he done this before??” Kai asked up, moving around them as both Kabocha and Takeshi went to pick up Viral, keeping away from the blood, “Either way, I’ve never seen something like that, unless he got punched in the gut by that thing?” There was a high possibility that he had damaged his insides after they had been healed, but they wouldn’t know what was happening until they got him into the machine and ran a diagnostics check on him. He would have to simply go in as he was at this point and get hooked up immediately, but if there was one thing he hoped it was that Choi didn’t let Yumi know about this. She would just end up rushing down and put everyone into a panic with that demanding attitude of hers.

Moving on a little further, he looked between the doors and looked at each of them, eventually finding the medical room with the right machine to heal Viral. Looking over the door’s panel, he contemplated a moment before pushing the open button, watching as it slid open before he walked in, holding the door open, “Should we tell your friend? He was the one with him and that creature, so maybe he could say what he saw happen?” he asked up, looking to Viral, “He’ll need to get his vitals hooked up and that…’breathing thing’ on before we can activate the machine”.

Choi was feeling a little flustered, but maybe things would get better once Yumi was in his presence and no blood just happened to be leaking from her face. The only thing he could associate that with was death, so it was definitely something he didn’t want to be around when all it did was remind him of the slow deaths during battles. Hurrying along, he soon found himself at the hanger, looking around quickly before spotting the others with Yumi. Hurrying along towards her, he looked back for a moment before he let out a sigh as he came to a halt.

It appeared everyone was gathered apart from the obvious ones who were still missing, his eyes going to his father before to Yumi, “Uhhh, I’m here! If that wasn’t obvious…” he spoke, giving a quick look to T’charrl and Shu. The big bug was essentially holding onto Shu as they stood, the kid must had still been having head problems so finding a room where he could find a few spare pillows would probably be good, his mind going to the rooms for the higher ranks; it would probably keep Kabocha’s parents happy too, then again they barely seemed happy with anything, “Uhh, c’mon, this way”, he sighed, hurrying along a little before slowing down again, “So uhh, we dealt with the nasty thing; it was nothing! Don’t suppose you guys had more fun, huh?”

"No... Never, it's never been like this. He even seemed to be getting better, I don't get what happened..." Takeshi replied, shaking his head.

Could it have come about by Viral using those arms of his? Takeshi had no clue what that ability did to one's body, there was nothing he could do that was anywhere near an equivalent. It must take quite a lot of energy to do, and judging by how the Beastman had been as of late it wasn't as if he had loads of energy to spare. Perhaps he'd overdone it and this was his body telling him he had to rest. Hopefully it was something as minor as that, but spitting up blood was rarely ever a simple manner. Keeping well in line behind Kai as the other boy led the way they quickly got to the healing room, going right on in and quickly turning on the instruments inside. There were three pods available to them, and a plethora of other machines that Takeshi could only begin to guess at what they did.

"We'll tell Vegeta later, we got to get him inside first." Once Viral was stable and inside safely then they could worry about spreading the news. With Kai holding the door Takeshi and Kabocha carefully got Viral inside, propping him up against the back wall. "Viral? Just hang tight, we're going to get you set up and put you in here to rest, you're going to be fine."

Right... Now for all of the cords. Thankfully no needles were involved, none of them were medics and wouldn't quite know where to stick one anyways. The vital sensors came in the form of small pads, stuck in major parts of the body to record things like heart rate. Uttering a faint apology Takeshi tore Viral's shirt open, taking two of the pads and sticking one right over his heart and another down near where his wound had been earlier. Another was administered onto his left bicep, and the final onto his right shoulder. It was probably not the ideal placing, not that they really knew any better. Holding up the Beastman then Kabocha grabbed the mask from the top of the pod, pulling it down and extending the hose before carefully stretching the band, dropping it down onto Viral's head and gently easing the mask over his nose and mouth. When all that was said and done they gingerly let go of him, closing the door as quickly as they could to begin filling up the pod. The controls for the machine were easy enough to use, it was one of the few things most soldiers were trained in, typically for the care of Elites. With the door closed Takeshi grabbed the latches, making sure they caught before pressing the proper button on the control pad. From the few pumps built into the tank came the healing solution, pouring down fair quick and filling up the tank. Soon Viral was floating inside, suspended in the liquid that would hopefully fix his problems. Consoled slightly at that thought Takeshi sighed, rubbing at his forehead and looking back at his squadmates.

"Alright... You two should go on back to the others, get some rest or something. See your parents, do whatever. I'll hang around here until someone else comes by, don't want to leave him alone." Gods only know there might be something else onboard, the last thing Viral needed was to be attacked when he was in effect in a coma. "If you're going to go eat save me some, will you?"

"Man, if we're eating now I doubt there's going to be anything left for you," Kabocha quipped, smirking in spite of his heart pounding away frantically in his chest. "I'll see what I can do though. I suppose mom and dad need to get the run down on what's going on... And it's probably best that I do it, since anyone else is going to want to smack them stupid."

Thankfully Kabocha's parents finally died down in their arguing, for the moment at least. Yumi was darn near smacking both of them just for a second of peace and quiet, now it wouldn't be necessary. With the little dysfunctional show out of the way they sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments awaiting the arrival of Choi. What had they been doing, she wondered? It took an awfully long time just to find the control room, albeit they had probably checked the ship for people too, so that could explain it. Spotting Choi running towards them Yumi found herself smiling again, folding her hands in front of herself and standing as still as possible, rather not wanting to do anything to embarrass herself. Just as quickly as he had stopped did the Saiyan start up again, making her and the others begin to follow in suit.

"Nasty thing...? Well that hardly sounds good..." Yumi remarked, frowning to herself. If she thought Choi would tell her she'd push as to what 'the nasty thing' was exactly. Glancing over at him curiously she smiled a bit then, reaching over and giving his shoulder a small push. "Oh we had a blast in there, let me tell you. We sat around and sang campfire songs, told ghost stories and ate s'mores. It was an absolute laughing riot." Leaning over to the boy she giggle lightly, gesturing over her shoulder with a thumb at Kabocha's parents, neither of which would look at the other right now. "Really all I got to do was listen to those two. They're so moody with one another, why the heck are they even together?"

Kai raised an eyebrow before going back to what he needed to do to save the Beastman, seeing as how he looked fairly close to death right now. He couldn’t tell whether he was still alive or whether that was it for Viral, but he wasn’t looking at him enough to give him a check, “Maybe it was the monster, other than that he is artificial and who knows how long his lifespan is…” he sighed, pressing a few buttons on the monitor to get it running, “I don’t know much about science, but isn’t there a reason artificial beings are often…you know, ‘experiments’?”

There were many a time when he heard Viral speak out of depression that he was going to die soon and why they shouldn’t bother helping him, but he didn’t know whether this was because he had a short lifespan or it was just his PTSD messing with his emotions. Kai wasn’t a psychiatrist, he couldn’t analyse words or emotions all that well but that’s what it sounded like to him. Hopefully there was no dying that was going to happen anytime soon, nobody needed that when they had gone through so much trouble.

Waiting until Takeshi had managed to hook up Viral, he looked between them as if trying to judge the possibility of movement from the Beastman before moving away from the monitor. If Viral was dead then the tank wouldn’t had switched on, so that was a positive start. Letting out a sigh he walked over to Takeshi, folding his arms. It would be a good time to get some rest, but leaving Takeshi by himself with Viral seemed a bit unfair, “You sure? Choi is with our father now”, he spoke, shrugging, “But fine. I’ll activate the cleaner bot to get rid of the mess in the hall. You want some food sent down instead?”

Choi slowly rubbed his chest as he tried to breathe a bit more, just to calm himself down. Smiling at Yumi, he nodded quickly before shrugging, “Yeah, it was nothing! Just uhhh…I don’t know, like finding a bug in your drink and you’re all ‘eww!’ but you want to drink it anyway, so you have to remove it before everything works out”, he spoke quickly, laughing nervously. He didn’t want to create fear among the group, but giving a quick wave to T’charrl he realised he might be upset over the bug reference after being told what a bug was before.

Giving his chin a scratch as he walked, he looked to Yumi curiously when she pushed him, smiling at first before looking confused, “Really…?” He wished he had s’mores, whatever those were; it sounded like a type of alien to him, probably pretty tasty. Feeling pretty curious, he looked to Kabocha’s parents before back to her, grinning a little, “You know, I’ve wondered that ever since I heard the guy had actual parents. Saiyans only stay together if they feel compassion towards each other”, he spoke lowly, slowly moving closer towards Yumi, “…You know, I heard they get really passionate when they’re fed, so you might want to watch out for that. I heard Kabocha is totally scarred because of that…”

Takeshi narrowed his eyes slightly at Kai's comment, not overly fond of it. Suggesting Viral might be dying was beyond okay, he refused to even consider that. "Just because he's artifical doesn't mean he's going to expire," he retorted, rolling his eyes as he folded his arms across his chest. "I mean... He can't die that easily. He's said before he'll live long past when we'll die, so he's got to be like... Immortal or something. There's no way this is going to kill him." It certainly was not going to be the end of him, not if the pod did its job properly. Hearing it kick to life and seeing the liquids begin to pour in was a promising sign, it meant his vitals were strong enough to warrant saving.

"Yeah, you can send something, that would probably be best." Takeshi commented, taking a seat in one of the chairs by the computer and leaning back in it lazily. "Go get something to eat for yourselves first, I'll get food if you bring it down, or I'll find something later." For now he'd sit and keep an eye over Viral, whether it was needed or not. "And... You really should tell the others that he's in here, just so they're not worrying. Let them know he's going to be fine and all that, please? I don't want anyone to have to worry too much." Now that they were for the most part free it was high time to sit back and enjoy themselves, not be stressed out incessantly.

"Whatever you say boss man, I'm not going to say no to a meal." Kabocha said cheerfully, giving his stomach a patting. "And sure thing, we'll let everyone know. Don't blame us if Yumi comes running though! I'm not getting in that chick's way, she can be really nasty when she wants to be." Flashing Kai a smile he gestured for his friend to follow, hurrying out of the healing room and into the corridor, impatiently waiting for Kai to follow suit. Anything at this point was going to be a tasty meal, he could hardly care what they fed him. With the buildup of food it would be a darn shame if they didn't have anything on board.

There went Choi again, babbling on about goodness knows what. As silly as it might be Yumi couldn't help but find it amusing, flashing a small smile as she giggled breathlessly. Still didn't answer her question about what had gone on, but she'd let it slide for now. Giving him a playful shove over it she then folded her hands behind her back again, humming softly. So he'd never had s'mores before then? Neither had Shu, and Takeshi probably hadn't either. All the more reason to do that when they got back to Earth then, that and smoothies. It was curious how much she found herself missing simple little things now that they were away from home. Perhaps they could find fruit on board this ship, then she'd make everyone a smoothie to enjoy.

"What...? Eeeew, really?" Yumi covered her mouth with her hands quickly as she snickered, looking back at Kabocha's parents amused. There had to be something about the relationship keeping them together, it only made sense. Definitely not looks, that was for sure. Kabocha's dad was a bit on the big side, and not exactly the most attractive looking Saiyan. His mother wasn't bad looking, and had a fiery behavior that would probably make her suited for another guy. Maybe there was some romance in that pairing that she just wasn't seeing. Once more her thoughts turned to herself and Choi, glancing at the boy before looking away, hiding her face with her hair to try and conceal a blush. Would she and Choi end up becoming romantically involved?

Kai stared at Takeshi, frowning a little at his comment. That was probably one of the things the King tried to obtain from Viral during his experimentation stages but probably couldn’t, but whether all that experimenting had worn out whatever the Beastman’s lifespan relied on was definitely something to be concerned about. Maybe it would be a pretty good thing to get him some scientific attention too now that they had equipment to do it. If anything, Kai was more afraid of the ex-Commander waking up and sporting brain damage, turning into a killer and using those freaky arms to rip them all apart.

Kai gave Takeshi’s food suggestion a quick nod, giving him a little wave as he moved to the door, “Sure, just don’t get food in the tank once we bring some down. Just hopefully your friend has gotten this ship flying because I’d hate to go to the food hall and find a bunch of Saiyans in there. They can’t party all the time, you know”, he spoke, looking to Kabocha, “If that happens, you’re taking the lead on getting rid of them. I ain’t going near no bunch of soldiers without my brother, okay?”

Walking on out after Kabocha, he gave one look back before letting out a sigh, moving along with Kabocha, “I bugsy telling Vegeta that we got him in the healing tank. You can tell Yumi”, he spoke quickly, raising his hand, “There’s no way I’m telling her what happened and I doubt Choi would either, seeing as how completely gaga he is over her…” It was a bit of a hit and miss when trying to figure out what he should say to Vegeta. He knew what to ask him, but to describe what happened to Viral was a little confusing to him. He couldn’t really describe what it was, whether it was a fit or a haemorrhage of some kind.

Choi snickered a little, scratching his cheek, “I know, right? Somehow I can’t say I pity him”, he chuckled a little, giving her a little nudge, “Don’t tell him I said that, though”. While it was funny talking about things like that, he couldn’t say it was giving him a good feeling knowing what Kabocha might do if he found out he was talking about his parents. Letting out a sigh, he lowered his head for a moment before peaking up again, bouncing on over to a sign on the wall, “Oh! This might help”, he spoke, giving a quick point to the sign and to various parts of the ship, “I guess it’s easier to say you can go left to get to the food and right to get to the beds”.

Choi was feeling pretty proud, being able to lead a bunch of people to where they needed to go so long as the ship was safe and moving. He wasn’t really good at reading, but recognising symbols was definitely something he could be proud with and feel happy about. Smiling, he soon ran off to the right before stopping again, nodding a little, “I hope nobody fights over where they’re sleeping…because that’d be really awkward when there are a lot of beds here. It’s a flying fortress! Neat, huh?” he nodded, smiling, “There’s rooms ranging from having about twelve beds all the way up to one where the Captain of the vessel would sleep, the bed quality getting better as it goes along but still comfy. Maybe the ones with the many beds would be better if we ever saved anyone and transported them…that’d be cool…saving people…instead of blowing them to bits…”

"Oh come on, you're dumping both fighting people AND giving the news to Yumi on me? So not cool man, you know that's not fair!" They should really make Choi tell Yumi what was going on. Like Kai had said he seemed to be inexplicably infatuated with her, goodness knows why. Kabocha thought she was just scary and annoying. Sighing he rubbed at his forehead, not very thrilled his newest task. "Where do you figure we're heading after this? Back to Earth again? Or maybe we'll explore a bit more! It would be nice to see some planets now that we don't have to fight everyone we come across, don't you think? I know there were some worlds we'd been on that I wouldn't have minded spending a few days on."

"Oh! Maybe there's a planet out there somewhere with a ton of hot women!" Kabocha continued, grinning broadly as he rubbed his hands together. "Just think about THAT! And if we're the good guys now they'd welcome us, and treat us like kings! We could relax and have all the food we want... And all the girls." That part he definitely liked. He could imagine it now, a bunch of lovely women waiting on them hand and foot. Maybe then he could even get a girlfriend too. "Ooooh... I really hope that happens. That would be just awesome."

"My lips are sealed," Yumi retorted, smirking as he made a zipping motion. "I can't really say I feel bad for him either. If he wasn't such a pain I might be more sympathetic, but now it just seems kind of deserved." It was disappointing that she had found a pair of parents that reminded her of her own. Albeit it was the mom in this case being the aggressor, and the dad was kind of the pansy. Seeing Kabocha's parents made her miss her mother, that would definitely have to be one of the first things to do when they finally returned home.

"Saving people? Since when are we a rescue party?" Gobo spoke up, frowning as he fanned off himself with his hand. "I thought we were going to go find a new place to live, and you boys are going to run us around to play hero?"

"Oh have some backbone Gobo! For once in your life look forward to a fight!" Mizuna snapped. Rolling her eyes she placed her hands on her hips, shaking her head before looking at Choi and Yumi sternly. "Would you two hurry up and find us a room? My dear husband needs a nap it seems, and I can't be bothered to lug him around all day."

"The rooms are right here lady, find one yourself." Yumi quipped back, finally getting annoyed with the constant bickering. Despite the difference in strength Mizuna didn't back down, stepping right up to the Beastman and staring her in the eye. The two women glared at each other for a moment, neither willing to back down, making the place rather uncomfortable. Finally Gobo stepped in, easing the two women back with a nervous smile.

"Now now... She didn't mean anything by it dear, and we're perfectly able to find a room of our own." Pushing his wife aside he smiled apologetically at Yumi, giving her a small bow before dabbing at his forehead.

"Yes... I suppose you're right. I don't like relying on children any more than I have to anyways," Mizuna added, keeping her gaze steady on Yumi. Finally relenting to her husband's requests she was led off by him, the two heading around the corner of the corridor in search of a room.

Yumi kept her eyes trained on Mizuna right up until she was out of view. Exhaling softly she gave everyone an apologetic smile, folding her hands at her waist. "Sorry about that guys, I was close to smacking both of them upside the head though. These ears are pretty sensitive, and their constant bickering was driving me insane." Looking to Choi at her side she bit her lip, shifting her weight on her feet. Now was a good as any time to get him alone to talk, so long as he agreed to it. But how to make it discreet? "Uh... Mind helping me find a room Choi? I'd like one that's a little nicer, if its all the same."

Kai shook his head quickly, “I called dibs and that gives me first say in this whole mess”, he spoke quickly, giving a quick nod, “You should had been faster with that, otherwise maybe you would had been able to spare yourself the grief later”. Kai had fair dodged a bullet on that one, especially when Yumi seemed to be more hot-headed than kind to him; Choi had managed to get close enough to her, but she’d know the difference between him and his brother and might just get hostile with him. Giving a side glance to Kabocha have gave a little shrug, feeling a little lost with that question, “I’d ask that same question if I knew where ‘this’ is”, he spoke, rubbing his neck, “You were educated, just what kind of worlds are there?”

Giving Kabocha an odd look when he mentioned women, he raised an eyebrow before letting out a sigh, “C’mon man, you know my experience with women is zero! I’d probably have a panic attack around two hot women nevermind a ton of them”, he spoke, shrugging a little, “Are you trying to kill me? Besides, being a twin is pretty complicated. Choi may act like he wants Yumi, but us being away from each other for too long is like splitting your soul in half. You can take all the woman you want, but for me…well, I don’t know what I want”.

Letting out a sigh he pressed on his scouter a couple of times, figuring it was about time he got in contact with Vegeta. The guy shouldn’t be too busy now, it was about time to tell him that his little project wasn’t going too well, “Vegeta? It’s Kai; I’ve got some good news and some bad news for you regarding your Beastman, Viral”, he spoke, giving Kabocha a quick look before he looked away again, “Good news is we got him to the healing tank, all hooked up and what not…but, bad news is he nearly died on the way there and we don’t know why. Internal bleeding of some kind, maybe you want to check him out on the computers?”

Choi smiled a little at Yumi but quickly turned towards Gobo, looking over him as if he was being told off. He didn’t know what he was protesting about, he didn’t need to come along and could find somewhere to live that way too. Giving Yumi a quick look again, when Mizuna suddenly spoke up he jumped a little and backed off a little, scratching his chest, “Uhhh…” he went to speak up but was quickly cut off by Yumi, giving her a nervous smile before slowly backing off, not feeling completely sure how he was supposed to stop Mizuna from confronting Yumi.

Looking between the pair, he let out a sigh when Gobo decided to step in first. Slowly moving towards Yumi he rubbed his neck, feeling a little responsible for it all of it, “Ehh, uhh…all the rooms are right here…so…” he mumbled, smiling a little as things seemed to settle down. At least those two seemed good together with them being husband and wife, otherwise that would have never worked out, “Pick what one you wish…”

At least now they were heading for a room and leaving them all alone, Choi looking to Yumi and smiled a little. He didn’t think Yumi had any real need to apologise, but if it made her feel better he wasn’t going to stop her. Snorting a little, he wiped his nose before looking up the hall and back, shrugging a little, “Sure! Uhh I mean, there’s plenty if you want to be by yourself or with someone else…” he spoke, giving a quick look to T’charrl, Shu and his father, “Uhh, that is if you want the single room…? There’s plenty of rooms, but unless you want to share a room with someone. I’ll uhh, probably go in a room with Kai and my father…”

"Dibs...? Oh don't go playing that card on me Kai, we should have done rock paper scissors or something. Dibs just isn't fair dude..." Kabocha then raised an eyebrow, looking at his friend curiously before smirking. Was he really asking what kind of planets there were? "The only ones I've ever seen or know about are the ones we went to Kai, so besides those it's beyond me. All I know is there are probably any kind of planet that you can imagine. There's hot ones, cold ones, ones that don't even support life. Some that the gravity is strong enough to crush most people, and others were there's almost no gravity. I think we can avoid those kinds though, I don't particularly feel like getting squished." There was a fair good reason the Saiyans only attacked hospitable, or at least bearable planets. They had to be there for prolonged periods of time, going after a world then they couldn't handle would be silly.

Kai's little fit about women was to be expected, and really none of them had experience with girls. Kabocha didn't let that stop him though, he'd be persistent as long as it took. Seeing an ample opportunity to tease his friend he grinned, nodding his head understandingly. "Aha... I get it dude, you're not into women. Nothing wrong with that, everyone's got their own likes and dislikes." Chuckling softly he reached over, slapping Kai's back gently before taking a small step away. "Just uh... Don't hit on me, yeah? We're just friends, and I want to keep it that way."

Vegeta was quite surprised to find the engineers waiting with baited breath, fair confused as they cheered on his approach. Apparently Takeshi and the others had promised them something fairly good, he couldn't fathom what had them so excited about a total stranger wandering around their craft. Whatever it had been most definitely helped their situation, as it took no effort on his part to get them to agree to take the ship from the port. While the normal crew was off board the aliens here knew enough to pilot it, immediately assuming the most necessary of stations around the bridge. They left the actual controls up to him, perhaps not for the best. The controls themselves were placed at a chair in the center of the bridge, surrounded by a crescent shaped desk with a series of holographic displays and various panels of buttons. Everything from ship diagnostics to a star chart was on show here, and he could use near any of the ship's utilities from this spot. It would definitely take some getting used to, but he could seriously see himself enjoying a craft like this. Letting the engineers get the ship's systems online Vegeta began to bring up the control panels, pausing when his scouter beeped to life, Kai being on the other side. Hearing Viral was in such dire straits definitely wasn't good news, but he had to stay here and get the ship moving.

"As long as he's in the tank he'll be fine, physically. I'll check on him once we get out of the station, we need to get going," Vegeta explained, using one hand to swipe along the screen and bring up the healing room. Sure enough one tank was indicated on the screen, and the basic vitals were shown alongside it. His heartbeat was a little weak, but judging by how Kai had explained things that was to be expected. Viral would survive, certainly now that he was in there. God forbid Yumi should catch wind before he improved at all, she'd have an absolute panic attack. He didn't mean to downplay the Beastman's condition so much, but with all he had to do right now he couldn't really chat. "I'll monitor him from here, I'll need one of you guys to go to the room if something happens though. I can't leave here, none of these engineers know how to fly the vessel, and it doesn't seem TOO different from the rebel ships... Just... A lot more elaborate..."

Oh dear, what was she supposed to say to that? Yumi wasn't exactly experienced when it came to dating, her last relationship being... She must have been 12 or 13 at the time. That had been child's play, and it ended when her boyfriend had kissed another girl on the cheek, she'd given him a bloody nose over that. Now Choi was asking how she wanted to settle in, and she didn't know how to reply. Was he asking if they wanted to share a room? It almost seemed like he might be hinting at that but not saying it outright. She might be over thinking things too. After all, they weren't even technically a thing yet, sharing a room seemed like a huge leap forward. Ooooh, what was she supposed to say?

"I... I guess I could have a room to myself? Probably for the best?" Yumi asked rhetorically, giving her shoulders a shrug. She was the only girl after all, it might be awkward if she shared a room with a boy. Shu and T'charrl perhaps not so much, both were too innocent or perhaps clueless to make things uncomfortable. Smiling at Choi gently she stepped a little closer, bumping her shoulder into his with a faint blush. "Listen... I need to talk to you before we go to our rooms. Mind walking me to mine? I figure you can help me find a good one."

Kai was more focused on completing his job right now, not feeling overly confident on what he needed to do to fit into this group. He knew how to act like a soldier and he knew how to act like a cook, but quite frankly he didn’t want to cook as a job and there was no way he knew what they were planning on doing with him in this group in regards to fighting and whether he would be taking orders. The most he could do to feel comfortable was doing favours for the others for the others. Once he had gotten in touch with Vegeta and retrieved food for Takeshi, his plans on what he was going to do next were a little confusing to say the least.

Giving Kabocha an angry look when he spoke, gasping a little when he was slapped on the back, “Hey! Don’t you bother with that nonsense! Wouldn’t you think Choi would be too if I was anyway, you idiot?” he spoke, keeping his hand to his scouter, “Even if I was, you’re too ugly for someone as handsome as me. I just can’t stand crowds when it comes to a ton of women”. He thought it would be nice to find a girl and have some children, but it probably wasn’t going to happen with him just because of his own natural instincts were to go out and fight all the time.

When Vegeta finally called back, Kai was expecting something a little more than what he got back to say the least. He didn’t sound too fussed by it, but instead sounded like a task that needed to be done and it was time to move on. Giving Kabocha a quick look, he slowly looked around before he sighed, “Well okay then, whatever”, he spoke, shrugging a little, “Takeshi is staying there for now, just get the ship moving and cut off its tracker and we’ll be fine”. It was a little odd that he showed no concern for his friend, but whatever to that as he looked to Kabocha, “Well that was easy. See where dibs can get you? He wasn’t even concerned”, he spoke before grinning, “Now you have to deal with the crazy girl, you ain’t dragging my brother into this either”.

While Choi did have that urge to ask her if she wanted to bunk with him, he knew right away that his brother and father would get suspicious. It was a little sad, he was so confused and yet was definitely enjoying Yumi’s company with his preference pointing him in that direction first. Giving a little nod he looked up the hallway, smiling a little before looking back to her, “You could take the Captain’s room, then”, he said quickly, giving her a quick thumbs up, “It’s the best room in the ship and it’s completely private with a washroom and everything, just the thing for someone like you to catch a break in”. Watching as Yumi stepped closer, he gasped a little when she bumped his shoulder, leaning towards her before he smiled, “Ooh? Uhhh, s-sure! Umm”, he paused, looking back to the others as he walked onwards, “Father, mind finding a room for three? There’s one with bunkbeds!”

Shu stared at the others as they spoke, not finding it too involving when they seemed to be talking about complicated stuff involving sleeping and where people would be going. He didn’t know where he would go, he didn’t even know if anybody wanted to sleep in a room with him. Pressing his fingers together, he did kind of hope that Yumi would want to go into a room with him, but turned out she wanted one to herself and was getting one. Smiling a little nervously, he looked up and around himself, feeling a little enclosed in the large corridor, “…Maybe Takeshi will bunk with me”, he muttered, giving a little nod before he looked up to T’charrl, “Where are you going to sleep? Maybe with Takeshi and me…?”

T’charrl didn’t have a clue what he was supposed to do, he didn’t know this entire process and it was a little worrying for him. He worried about the others being around him most of all and he didn’t know if he might end up waking up and disrupting them with a flash of energy or something similar. He was a little worried, all sorts of strange things tend to happen when he’s asleep so he always preferred his own room incase others could see, “Umm…maybe not. I mean, it’s not that I don’t want to! Uhhh, it’s just that…I shouldn’t risk it. Besides, we Kaesstrians don’t need to sleep much unless we want to. We only need to sleep every two days or so…”

"How the heck should I know? And I wouldn't think that the whole sexuality thing carries over for twins. I mean come on... You guys don't share EVERYTHING. You'd be the same person then." Seemed fair obvious to Kabocha, and he hardly knew a darn thing about twins. Rare as they were in the Saiyan race very little was common knowledge, and even less was known about what unique abilities, or perhaps tendencies they may have. Chuckling to himself he shook his head, leaning over and slinging an arm around Kai's shoulders, prodding him in the chest. "And we're going to work on that female anxiety of yours! Don't worry, your buddy Kabocha is right here to show you the way!"

"Sounded preoccupied to me, but maybe he wasn't." Kabocha mused, shrugging his shoulders. "People from Earth can be so weird sometimes I never know what they're on about or thinking. They're complicated sometimes." Saiyans were much more straightforward... For the most part. Fight, sleep, train... And girls, couldn't forget girls. Plain and simple needs and wants, easily conveyed. All of these people from Earth though had so many weird things going on in their minds that he couldn't even begin to try and fathom how they thought. It had been quite the task wrapping his mind around Takeshi's tendency for mercy when they'd first met. As often as he would strike someone down he would often spare someone. What's more he had even gone to the aid of people they were meant to be repressing when the soldiers got out of hand. To them it was natural, but clearly not for the others. Kabocha frowned when Kai teased him over Yumi, mulling for a second before smiling impishly.

"I don't have to drag Choi into this, he's already got himself into the mess. Hell, I bet the two of them are sucking face right now!" Chuckling softly Kabocha quirked an eyebrow, turning about on his heel and stepped ahead of Kai, walking backwards while looking at him. "If he's kissing a girl can you tell? Oooooh, I wonder if you'll get jealous! Gods forbid a girl comes between our beloved twins!"

"The Captain's room...? Well... I'm sure it is nice, but that seems a bit excessive..." Yumi mumbled, frowning as he looked back at Shu. Someone else certainly deserved the luxury room, she hadn't done anything to earn it. If it was the best then either Shu or Viral ought to take it as far as she was concerned, they needed the rest more than anyone else. Picking up the little Saiyan's murmurs she turned around, smiling sweetly as she leaned down and gave his hair a light ruffling. "I know Takeshi will want to share a room with you, I can't imagine why he wouldn't. Why don't you use your scouter and ask him now? He's probably on his way up to find you as we speak." Giving T'charrl a curious look as he was asked she was disappointed that he turned down the request. If anyone needed company it was Shu, and the more people he had the better. If she didn't think it would be an utter nightmare sharing a room with Takeshi she would gladly offer to be with the Saiyan boy herself.

"We're going to go have a chat, call us if you need anything," Yumi added, smiling politely before turning to Choi. With no cue whatsoever to do so she reached out, snatching up one of his hands in her own. It was automatic, and soon she was walking down the corridor trying to drag the boy along behind her, scarcely paying mind to the fact she was holding her crushes hand again. That was until she noted the warmth against her own skin, becoming suddenly very aware of what she was doing right now. It was like she was a little girl again, her face heating up at such a simple gesture. They just needed to find a room to talk, preferably in private.
