"Well licking things is not always dangerous." The Doctor said with a small grin "And I can learn alot that way." He rubbed his stomach and breathed deeply, He lays his head on Rose. He knows Jack will get him the right medicine.
He shivered. He seemed to hate feeling awful and weak.
Jack came into the room with some water and medicine. He passed them to the Doctor "Its safe for you."
The time lord drinks some water and takes the medicine.

Rose pulls her hand through his hair, a smile on her face knowing that he had an oral fixation in this body, wondering if her not knowing that tea would help had produced this side affect. But she liked the weird perk of this him that she knew. "Thank you Jack." Rose said thankful to their old friend. She knew that with the medicine in the Doctor's body, he would get better sooner, glad for that. While she didn't mind just laying here with his relaxing against her, she totally wanted to be home, traveling time and space again. Months and even years getting this Vortex Manipulator right had barely made the itch to explore bearable. She loved exploring and seeing new planets and aliens, and being able to help. How could she even think of domestics when she had that?

The Doctor lay back down after taking the medicine. He clearly didn't feel so well. He was hoping that this would be over soon. He was laying down. The time lord sighed and lay a hand across his head. "Ughh." he groaned.
He really did hate this. He whimpered and curled up a bit.
Jack looked at Rose and back at the Doctor. He knew the medicine would start to make him feel better. "I'll be glad when he starts to feel better, pyshically at least, as I know his mental state may take more time."

Rose smiles at Jack. "Well, mentally I'm sure I'll find someway to help him. Give him a puzzle to figure out." She said with a small giggle. Knowing The Doctor's true name was an exhilarating thrill. And if she wanted him to get better, at least with his mental capabilities, she'd continue to confuse him and give him something to puzzle over. That and have him getting them out of trouble would certainly help too she was certain. "But let's focus for now on physical health for now."

Jack was looking at her "I know you will find a way." He replied. "I will do my best to help as well." he knew the Doctor just needed to not be alone. He doubted that was helping. He knew the Doctor was miserable.
He had never known the DOctor to show his sadness to much.
The Doctor was breathing deeply where he was. He coughed and gagged a bit, He tried to calm his stomach.

Rose pulls her hand through her Doctor's hair doing her best to help him get better as she wasn't sure what to do or if she was even helping at all. But she would continue to do this if it helped even a smidgen. She smiles at Jack glad he had faith in her capabilities. "I know you will." She said thankful that he would help him.

The Doctor felt calm and relaxed with her hand in his hair. He was looking at her with a small smile. He loved her so much and knew she would be there to make him feel better. The time lord was so sick and weak.
Jack looked at him and then her and nodded.

"You're the best. I am sorry." Rose apologized looking at Jack. "I remember. What I did while Bad Wolf was in my 'ead. Are you overly angry with me?" She asks fearful that he'd hold her responsible for making him come back from death. Forever like until old age got him. She had tears in her eyes at the thought of it. Jack was one of her best mates and someone she adored, and often had him to get the leather and big ears doctor to notice her. It was one of the reasons she had flirted with pretty boys cause she wasn't sure where she stood with him then. She continued to pull her hand through his hair a smile on her face glad to be of some help.

Jack shrugged "I'm not mad, I didnt want to never die, But its ok, you couldn't exactly control that power. I know you just didn't want me dead." He was smiling a bit. "I know the Doctor is still struggling to accept it, he did try avoid me at first because of it, but we are past that."
The Doctor was breathing deeply. He just rolled over. "Rose..," he coughed more, The time lord had a fever that was making him miserable, He knew that he couldn't relax with a fever like that.

Rose went and grabbed the cool cloth and once more wiped down the Doctor's face wanting to help get him better a sweet smile on her lips. "Just relax and do your best to get better Doctor." She says knowing that would help in the long run is his relaxing and smiles warmly at Jack glad he wasn't mad at her. "Well, I'm glad you two got over whatever it is that was bothering you and are friends again." Because she couldn't have two of her favorite guys still at each other's throats. Or worse avoiding the other. That she wouldn't have accepted. If they weren't already over it, she would have made them stay there until they were, but that was a load off her shoulders. She was curious as to why The Doctor would want to avoid Jack, not having been told that, but figured she'd ask once he was better.

The Doctor was looking at her, his eyes seemed dull, any usaul brightness was gone from his eyes. He was looking around. The time lord seemed rather sick.
He buried his face into Rose. He was shivering and moaning. He didnt really talk to them much because he felt miserable he tried to relax.
Jack knew the Doctor was feeling too sick to talk much, "Mmm he really is miserable." he sighed. He is worried. The immortal fetches another blanket.

Rose was a little worried. Never before has his stare been so void of light when looking at her. No matter what happened no matter what the circumstances were, he would look at her and there was a little glimmer of light in his eye, something warm that told her everything she wished to know even if he wouldn't have said it. She shakily caresses his face. "Please get better Doctor. I came back for you. It took me six years to get that manipulator as I remembered it to be, and even then I had one shot to get it right, to get here." Rose says softly pressing her forehead against his and slightly hisses at how warm his skin was to hers. It had always been cool to the touch whenever she touched him, superior Time Lord physiology and whatnot. Now he felt pretty much human with a warm fever and that was not good. She once more wiped down his warm face needing him to get better her just put together heart threatening to come apart should something negative happen to him while this sick.

The Doctor knew Rose was worried. He knew she had reason to be. She had never seen him so miserable and sick and he knew that it would be hard. He was laying there. He hoped he would get better.
"Rose...," he whispered "Don't leave me ..." He held her hand. He seemed worried she would leave for some reason.
The time lord coughed a bit and leaned over his bucket. He coughed and retched but didn't throw up.
JAck comes back with the blanket and puts it on the bed. "Anything else?"
The timelord sighed "I'm fine thanks Jack." he whispered. He lay back when he didn't throw up. He curled up in the blankets and he coughed a bit. The time lord had no energy. The Doctor seemed so pale.

"You're stuck with me ya daft alien." Rose said copying her words from when they had beaten the Slitheen for the first time and he had worried about her no longer traveling with him, with that old daft face that she had adored, not to say that she didn't equally adore this face. In fact during her jumps with the cannon she had seen some of his past selves having gotten the times off a bit using her TARDIS key as a lock was probably not the best idea, but it was the only one they had at the time, and she had to admit, each one she distantly met, or had met face to face, she had fallen for each time they said 'hello'. She didn't doubt that she'd love each and every one of him and would continue to love him for the rest of his lives too. She placed a hand over one of his smiling at him. "Thank you Jack." She said to her best friend not taking her eyes off her Doctor. She rubbed his back soothingly with her other hand making sure to alternate between that and wiping down his face.

The Doctor was feeling miserable. He coughed and snuggled up to her . "I love you Rose Tyler." he was not sure when he would he would recover. He grabbed the bucket and threw up. He fell back again.
"I hate this." He sighed a bit. He hoped he would be feeling better soon.
JAck was looking at him "Need anything to settle your stomach?" he was worried about his friend.
The time lord merely nodded a bit "Could try." he just cuddled up to Rose more.

"Quite right too. I love you my Doctor." Rose says with a grin teasing his word choice the first time she said she loved him to let him know although she was peeved that she wouldn't get to hear the words she wanted it just drove her that much harder to get back once the stars started disappearing. "Thanks Jack. Could you please see what you can do?" She asks once more rubbing the Doctor's back soothingly enjoying being his personal teddy bear.

The Doctor was coughing. He curled up against Rose. He cuddled her and felt safe where he was. He was shivering and moaning a bit, The time lord was shaking and feeling rather miserable.
"I want to be better and I hate feeling weak."
He closed his eyes and tried to relax. The time lord curled up. "TARDIS...," he soon mumbled and tried to get up.
Jack comes back with some ginger ale and hopes that will help.

"I know darling. Get back here. Have Jack go get what you need. I don't want you to go in there by yourself and wind up more sick than you are!" Rose says worried about him and not wanting him to get even more worse than he is. She hadn't wanted that tone to come come out the way it had but she was worried. It was bound to be crazy.

The Doctor was looking at her "Need to make sure TARDIS is ok..." he lay back and groaned. He was shivering and moaning. He hated feeling so miserable. He sighed deeply.
He knew Jack would. JAck passes him the ginger ale. "I'll go check Doc." He replied.

"Thanks Jack. It will take a load off my shoulders to know if she's alright too." Rose says knowing that normally the TARDIS' consciousness was in the back of the Doctor's head like background music so the fact that he hadn't checked that first was making her get closer to a panic attack. She hadn't had that since the time on the impossible planet and she hadn't heard anything from him. She had panicked enough to make the crew members knock her out.
