The Doctor was looking at her. he knew that Rose worried about the TARDIS too. He had been so sick he hadnt made sure to check the TARDIS was ok. He shivered.
Jack went to check. The TARDIS was making strange noises like sad. He knew the TARDIS would know the Doctor was sad and sick. "He'll be ok, don't worry," he spoke softly to the TARDIS.

Rose wrapped the blankets more around the body of her Doctor as well as snuggling against him and sharing in her own body warmth making sure that his face was wiped down cause that was still warm smiling all the way as she worked.

The Doctor was laying there and he curled up around her more. He was shivering a bit. The time lord was looking at her. He loved her so much. He looked around.
Jack returned after calming the TARDIS a bit "Shes sad and worried I think."

"Well her pilot is under the weather and they 'ave a special connection. Much more than I had for only a few minutes. Try being together for nine and a half centuries and not being worried for someone who you count on." Rose said so happy that he had finally said the words she had been wanting to hear since that first travel into the past with Charles Dickens and ghosts during Christmas. She should wear that dress again. See if it made this him just as speechless and with his eyes practically burning through the dress. She had chosen it to guage his reaction to her and the awkward complement was highly appreciated. She places a small kiss on his temple wanting him to get better.

Jack nodded a bit "Yeah I know.. tried to calm her down for now.. But I think she knows the Doctor isnt his happy self either."
The Doctor was looking at them. He was sad to know his TARDIS was upset. He coughed. He wanted to go sooth his ship, but knew he was too sick.
"Had a feeling she might be...' He coughed more.

"I'm sure that once you walk through those doors healthy and happy she too will be happy." Rose says knowing that would make the Old Girl happy, his being better and as an added bonus she would be ecstatic to know that Rose was back too. The Doctor had once remarked in a sort of curious tone that the TARDIS liked her.

"She'll be happy you are back too." The Doctor replied. He was looking at her. He snuggled up near her. The time lord was sleeping heavily soon after. He cuddled up close to her and was trying to rest.
Jack smiled seeing him fall asleep. He knew the Doctor needed rest.

Rose was glad that the Doctor was finally getting the sleep he needed as Gwen and Owen came back from seeing what the activity was, dragging a weevil another of these things that came through the rift. Many strange things had come from there. Rose pulls a hand through the Doctor's hair knowing it soothed him.

The Doctor was curled up in his blankets. He coughed and groaned a bit. His head was aching badly.. The time lord still was sleeping and had his arms around Rose, he mumbed when she stroked his hair.
Jack smiled watching them until he saw his team return. He saw the weevil. "ANother one hah.?"

"Sometimes I actually want these things to come along." Owen gripes for they were easiest to deal with in his opinion. Rose glares at the human doctor to tell him to shut it as her Doctor just went to sleep and he needed the sleep to get rid of his sickness. She placed her hand from his hair to the back of his neck idly drawing random circles that actually meant 'forever' and 'belonging' in circular Gallifreyan, not that she knew though.

Jack was looking at him "lower the tone Owen, I can hear you." He was speaking at a lower volume. "But I know what you mean, But I still like more of a challenge , weevils get boring." He replied. He knew he always saw challenging creatures most of the time with the Doctor.
He looked at his team and then back at the Doctor and Rose.
"Are you ok with him for a bit Rose?" Jack asked.

"Yeah we should be fine. And you know better than that Jack. You'll now get something challenging no doubt." Rose teases with a grin. "If I need anything I can go get it if strictly necessary. Go and do your job, mister." She said in an affectionate commanding tone that she got from her days at the parallel universe's Torchwood.

"Well long as its nothing like that demon that left me dead for way longer than normal." He sighed. He looked at his team with a grin :"And you lot had given up on me" Jack pouted a little. He was amused at same time. "Suprised all that chaos then never attracted the Doctor."
The Doctor was still resting and he curled up more as he coughed.

Gwen rose an eyebrow at that. "I was the one that had the most faith that you'd come back. Otherwise I wouldn't have sat by your side all that time." She said affectionately.
"I'm sure he was off facing some other real trouble else where and when." Rose said checking on the Doctor's temperature glad to find that it decreased a good amount. It led her to believe that he would fully pull out of this intact. She knew that The Doctor couldn't always be here especially if facing something very worse.

"I didn't know that... I was dead remember." Jack chuckled. He was looking at her. He was looking around. "Well anything else happen other than finding a weevil?" he was making sure he knew everything.
The Doctor was sleeping.

"Yeah but when you came to I was still the first thing you saw." Gwen harmlessly flirted with Jack, knowing that he wouldn't really flirt with her since he seemed to have the hots for a certain Welshman who was finished cleaning up. "Nothing else of interest." She said and she was observant.
"This is so adorable." Rose said knowing that this was just a platonic relationship as she had once shared with the flirtatious fifty-first century man. She might have believed there was more if she hadn't seen Ianto looking at Jack as a lover would.

JAck was laughing a bit. It was true he was more interested in Ianto. Though he flirted a little back in return it never meant much, He wasnt sure if Ianto ever wanted to be with him. The man just grinned. "Ah you only wish Gwen." he grinned.
The Doctor was still sleeping. He coughed and snuggled up to Rose. he was looking rather pale. The time lord was trying to stay relaxed as he could. He didn't want to wake up just yet, he moaned and coughed.

Rose soothingly draws circles in the Doctor's hair knowing he was fighting to stay asleep so did what she could to draw him into a deeper sleep. Gwen stuck her tongue out at Jack.
"Its not just wishin' and you know it you flirt." She says with a giggle. He had flirted with her while she was with Rhys but she hadn't thought she and Rhys would last long cause of the whole "have to keep Torchwood a secret" thing that the company had in extremely fine print when signing up for the job.

The Doctor was sleeping, he coughed and curled up more. He was staying as close to Rose as he could. He had a nasty headache. The time lord just wanted to rest really. He coughed more and more.
"Oh it is wishing when you can tell how I feel about Ianto." he was grinning. JAck grinned a bit. He knew Ianto wasn't in the room to hear. "Though I suppose I have two timed in past." He winked a bit. He though chuckled .

Ianto smiles a small sly thing. He knew that the immortal had feelings for him. It was hard to ignore when Jack had given him the 'kiss of life' when Lisa had gone crazy and had hurt him enough to cut off his breathing. Rose winced. She knew just how fleeting life could be especially since she used to be a human herself. But her slow aging had suggested she was something else completely. The doors opened again as Mickey Smith, now a married man to Martha came in late as their little one had been hard to get to sleep. He stopped and considered everything.
"Rose?" He asked.
"Shh!" Rose hissed motioning to the Doctor who was still sleeping caressing his temples to help him if his headache was still bothering him. Mickey smiled. Yup, no one else would shush him that rudely. It looked like she hasn't aged since the last time he saw her, when the Daleks took over their planet for a oblivion ray that killed off stars and planets. Yet it had been more than six years and many people had completely forgot which was odd.
