Name: Lynks
Age: Over 5,000 years old (looks like a 12-year-old)
Gender: Male
Race: Egyptian God stuck in mortal form
Appearance: He has silky black hair styled similar to a bowl cut with five short braids of hair on both sides of his head and one short ponytail protruding off the top of his head. He wears golden and jeweled hair ornaments in an Egyptian style, and said style of accessories can be found all over his body in the form of bracelets, anklets, necklaces, etc. They look more regal then feminine, although could perhaps be mistaken as such due to his young age not making him look really masculine anyways. Said accessories are worth more then most people make in a lifetime and it shows. He has golden irises, a healthy tan, and an un-athletic looking, although not chubby, body. He may look short but it's only natural for his child form, as he claims, and he's actually of average height all things considered.
He wears an Egyptian style
white garment and brown sandals. He sometimes wears a blue and yellow pharaoh hat, which some say looks like a cheap stereotypical knockoff, although it's actually a real hat given to him by a real pharaoh who served him.
Personality: The outward appearance he wants to present himself is wise, regal, serious, and always in command of the situation. However, he's a two face. He actually has a child side who would be snickering on the inside if some guy trips in front of him and bangs his head on a table, although with his poker face perfected over the years you will not usually be able to tell, giving off only a hint at best. If he brings his childlike nature out in the open then it's only when he thinks nobody is watching or to his closest friends who he has promise never tell anyone. He's prone to making his own rules as he goes along and stubbornly doesn't heed the advise of others unless he can somehow pass it off as his idea, taking credit for everything. He's a
tsundere, acting mean at first to certain individuals, but does warm up to them and treats them much more kindly eventually, but usually doesn't like to admit it when he does show that soft side, trying to put on the tough guy act to the end. Insulting or ordering him around is a quick way to get on his mad side, as one can imagine. He doesn't like when people treat him like a kid or mistake him for a girl, so mistaking him for a young girl can cause figurative smoke to blow out of his ears.
He does what has to be done, showing no hesitation or emotion in such scenarios that require that high level of determination where the slightest hesitation or emotion clouding ones judgment could be disastrous. However, he truly does try to do the right thing so might rack his brain for days or even years thinking of the proper course of action to deal with whatever scenario is in the future. Therefore, don't confuse him as being heartless if he "nonchalantly" orders a group of people to a near certain death, because he's probably done a lot of nerve wracking calculations behind the scenes leading up to that call.
AbilitiesPhysical Abilities- He's at a peak human level in all categories.
Ancient Knowledge- He was alive for thousands of years during the reign of the pharaohs, counseling them from the shadows all the while. As such he
knows a thing or two (ah, who am I kidding), has an in depth knowledge of such things. This doesn't mean he has good knowledge of current events. In that field he's almost clueless.
Weapon Training- He's mastered combat with the
khobesh both single and his unique duel wielding style involving a lot of theatrical spins and flips. He's highly trained in spears and staffs as well.
Leadership- Although some of it is just an act, he truly does make a good leader.
PowersEating Sands- He has telekinetic control over black sand that can potentially break down any object that comes in contact with it (should he desire). This includes both physical or otherwise. As long as it exists and occupies the same space then the sand can start to break it down. It appears like disintegration and the end result is the object completely obliterated from existence.
Direct contact with the sand for a prolonged period of time is needed for such a dramatic effect to take place, but it gradually does damage the entire time rather then all at once after a waiting period. An unprotected normal human would become obliterated in 3 seconds should the sand cover their entire body. Steel armor from head to toe would prolong the effect by 8 seconds. Obviously the more surface area is in contact the faster it works, so if it floods into the body then it will be over in almost an instant.
The sand obliterates itself when put in use in equal amounts as the material being destroyed. He can create more sand at a minute every cubic inch but tends to max out at a volume enough to fill a hippo sized space. He can move the sand at speeds up to 36 miles an hour and no further than 10 feet away.
Reincarnation- A step down from immortality but close enough to suit his needs. His godly essence is able to float around after death and coalesce into his physical body again after a week. During his time as an essence he's basically in a coma so can't use it for any special purposes other then drift away from the danger zone. He's trying to find ways to change his form when he does coalesce, but so far has had no success. Few things can damage his essence. It would have to be something that could kill a God, after all. His sand could do the trick but he won't let you borrow that.
God Sight- His eyes glow golden and take on a variety of properties but require a large energy cost for continued use. What he can do is the following; 1. He can see into the past or future of whatever he's looking at up to a day before things start getting too fuzzy to properly make out. However, he only knows what would happen if something isn't done to change it. Anyone who knows he used this power would obviously do so. 2. He can see through any objects he desires including things like night or fog, thus his only limit to vision is distance.
Weaknesses*He's stuck in a mortal childlike form.
*He's been asleep ever since the reign of the pharaohs has been over, meaning that when he wakes up he doesn't have much knowledge about the recent world, being a fish out of water and no pharaohs to command.
*His godly powers rely on countless people believing in him, which is no longer the case. Therefore, he never comes close to his glory days. He still seems powerful, but is actually far less then 1% of how powerful he was.
EquipmentDuel God Khopesh- They both look like
this. Although made out of bronze, they have gained supernatural durability making them virtually indestructible and any cut made by them hurt twice as bad and takes 5 times longer to heal due to a curse imbued into the wound.
Golden Pharaoh Staff- A fancy golden staff with four rings floating around the tip that jingle as it moves. Anyone besides him or a pharaoh who touches it experiences agonizing pain for the entire duration even if there's no momentum to do damage. No damage is done by this pain, as it's all in the mind. Like his Khopesh, this staff is also virtually indestructible. Out of the tip can form golden transparent shields 5 feet by 5 feet or any other dimension of the same surface area, which takes 3 seconds to generate at this maximum size. It's defense can withstand all but the most intense attacks, but he must continue to supply energy into the shield.
BioHe's not a known Egyptian God because he's been ruling from the shadows all this time. However, he was not all powerful and was growing weak from his thousands of years on the Earth influencing matters, which other gods tended not to do for this very reason. As it turns out he wasn't just an arrogant control freak, but in fact he was spending all his time in the human world so that he could assist in the grand search for a sleeping God named Mathiktenikts who would have the power to wipe out the entire earth when he awakened. The search ended when he was prematurely woken up, thus not at his full power yet. Lynks set a trap by forming an entire desert out of his special sand and luring the still drowsy God there. The second part of the trap was tricking Mathiktenikts into going into one of his larger more powerful forms. With a larger size Lynks could get far more of his sand in at once, obliterating his opponent at the cost of the entire desert worth of sand pouring in and almost all of his remaining godly energy.
He was no longer able to retain his godlike form while at such a lower energy state. He created an un-aging vessel to occupy using the last of his waning power, resulting in his child form being created rather then an adult by mistake. However, he was by that point far too exhausted to fix the problem. So exhausted, in fact, that he needed to sleep for thousands of years to recuperate, and even then he has not even come close to his full potential again. Not only that, but he realized that most of his strength came from others believing in him. He needed to prove to the world that he is a true and powerful God worthy of being worshiped so that he could regain his lost powerful in earnest. Therefore, he had quite a bit of work cut out for him, mostly involving solve people's problems by way of killing off baddies far too difficult for others to handle, thus proving his godlike superiority and gathering a fan base, albeit a small one at the moment. During his travels he realized that an entire multiverse exists. If he got many people to worship him from one planet he was a God, but what would happen if dozens of planets worshiped him? Or thousands?! Too good to pass up, he set his sights even higher.
