I assumed ours aren't jammed anymore, since there aren't Imperial ships in the immediate area. That could change, but it's my opinion.

I think that the Jotunheim and the Andromeda especially will get along well, given their tendency for more "traditional" battleship-shaped cruisers, their use of small space fighters and their fondness of Wave Motion armaments and technology. Technically, there is a nearly a century of time difference between the rollout of each ship, but who cares?

Generally, I think player cooperation with the Trekkies are what will give the player fleet a key edge.

Well, given that the guns they were using before were less than stellar, Wave Motion tech was an easy choice. Should be fun though, especially when our doom guns get back online.

Oh, and Penultimate, do you think the Jotunheim has video communication capabilities? I just ask for the formatting of my response, whether it's by radio or if you get to see the Admiral.

Hm. i don't much frame of reference of comms tech available for R-Type, but I would assume video chat is capable given how high-end the Jotunheim is supposed to be.

I guess if I really wanted to, I could be OP by firing all 15 of my fighters' Wave Cannons at once. But I won't do that, unless there is a difficult epic moment where it can be warranted.

I loved my internal rationale for my weapons firing and damage:

"Mmm. It would be more hilarious if Jason pressed all the red buttons, so I guess I'm firing everything. No, wait, I probably shouldn't fire a quantum rocket. Okay, that's on another console. Hold on, what the heck do these weapons do again? [...] Oh, maybe I shouldn't fire the pulse catapults. Wait, better idea: they miss! Brilliant. [...] I want to fire weapons again. But I can't just keep firing everything, right? Well, Fred hasn't been on screen for a while, I guess that means there's some engineering problem. Ooh! Weapons overload! And that way my ship actually has damage, too! And I can incapacitate Jason to give Alexander time to grow as a character! Marvelous! [...] I should fire my weapons aga- wait, shoot. I overloaded them. Damnit. Maybe I can get someone to fire a rocket somehow? Alexander, do you know how your console works? No, you're just being a sarcastic know-it-all. Hmm. Well, guess I'm running away again."

After moi moi indecisiveness I decided to go Battlestar for my second. Stargate just... They're so informal and I didn't want to do a canon crewwwwww and Battlestar.

When Noble returns from his busy work schedule be interesting when his AI tries to snoop into my ship. "Wait, how comes I can only access communications?"

Ship Name:BSG-14: Batlestar Columbia
Ship Class:Galactica Class Battlestar
Ship Wikia Link:Look it is an url!
Notable Crew:
Commander Alexander Lorne
Colonel James Phillips
Captain William Ryans
Chief Warrant Officer William McLean
Pre-Departure Scene:
The Columbia moved out of the Scorpio shipyards. "This is Columbia Actual we're away."Columbia Actual, all reports are green. Happy hunting."" Lorne looked around to the CIC full of people at their stations, some of their faces he knew well. However there were new faces among them. Rooks straight out of War College io Caprica. People who had never seen action outside of simulation. However he was confident that they would manage to pull through in the end. After all their very survival depended on it and if he could not depend on his officers and his crew, there was no-one he could depend upon. He turned to his XO, a man he had only known for four years however he had quickly learned to trust and heavily depended upon. "Give me ship wide." A horn blew throughout the ship, letting everyone at their stations pause to listen to a message from the commander. He picked up the phone from off its hook and raised the microphone to his mouth.

"This is the Commander. Word has reached the admiralty about a world outside of the Colonies being used as a Cylon testing site. Several colonial refugee convoys have been lost in nearby space without even being able to let off a distress beacon. We will jump into a polar orbit above the planet and rendezvous with the Galactica and the Atlantia. Recon reports there are three enemy baystars in orbit, Galactica and the Columbia will move on a full frontal attack while the Atlantia will move in behind. I have faith in our ability to take on this mission, we're trained for this and we're ready after our time in drydock. Acton stations, prepare for combat jump." He put the phone down as the alarm began to ring through the ship. He turned to Phillips and nodded, as he then picked up the comms.

"All stations report in for combat jump, Navigation-""Go.""-Tactical-""Go.""-Combat-""Go.""-Damage Control-""Go.""-Medical-""Go""-Marine Teams-""Go.""-Viper Wings-""Go.""-Gunnery teams-""Go." Phillips turned back to Lorne. "- Ship reports ready to jump, sir.""Good, start the clock." There was a hum that shrunk as a navigation officer began counting down "Jumping in 5,4,3,2, Jump."

Usually a jump was instant, and it felt instant. Or rather you didn't really notice any passing in time you only really noticed a flashed and felt as if you had your intestines turned inside out as space was folded and you disappeared from one place and then instantly re-appeared in another. Though this time, for reasons beyond comprehension it didn't. With a wave of blue light in the ship they found themselves in orbit above a strange arctic world.

Okay well then you can always the make the decision that we can move on and start to communicate we each other then?
Or you could even make a GM decision to puppet their ship to arriving there with us?

Noble isn't at the gathering point yet, when he comes back we'll come to an agreement that something caused his navigation to make him jump to the wrong place. Same kinda deal with Click This' ship. You can even have us hunt for them if you want.

Okay, well I've opened communications with everyone anyway, so I'll take a look at the IC to see if anyone has responded and maybe we can get people posting again.

I can get up a quickish post tonight to respond to that hail and start helping out the Andromeda (assuming they're all happy with the idea of nanobots filling their ship).

As long as there aren't health concerns involved, they're okay with it.
