I'm thinking something along the lines of having the finding of the Golden Fleece spark one more adventure that leads to Egyptian Magicians and the demigods meeting. Thus, there will be two separate plot threads. We'll each have a House of Life character and a Camp Half-Blood/Jupiter (still working out a story for why those are combined that won't cause any plot holes) character. They'll play out separately until the two combine. That's a gist, and I have a few more twists, and I certainly won't be revealing the details.

I actually was in another Halfblood RP with a similar setting. Interesting to be sure, I'm in if you make it!

Marvellous. It will transition from the current RP, naturally, but we'll be starting up a second plot thread once the thread is created. I'll be creating the thread as soon as possible and will link you all to it once I establish the OOC. For new people that join that won't be on the first quest, they'll be involved in another plot thread at the Camp which will set the stage for the combining adventure. I'll also have a more fleshed out alternate history, including the omission of the pact between the Big Three, and a few other things. This is going to be great.

Off to writing!

Okay! I'm ready to post it! But, before I do that, I need you, the members of the RP as it currently is, to reserve one Egyptian god each. (No, your characters won't be children of those gods. The god you choose will simply be the god that your character's magical skills will be most related to. There'll be another thing that comes out of that, but that's spoilers. ) Here is a list of prominent ones: http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/gods/explore/main.html

Nut is claimed by me. All the others are open. I'll update this post with claimed gods as you post your claims. This is my character:

The "Magical Skills" area should give you an idea of what I mean by skills related to the god you choose.

Claimed Gods: Nut, Horus (Jangel). Set (Krein)

Osiris it is, god of the underworld, resurrection, and fertility. So your character will probably excel at both growth and decay.

Ra, god of the sun, it is. So your character will probably excel at light, fire, and growth.

Horus it is, god of the sky. Your character will probably excel with air and space (things like spatial distortions and such) magic.

So is he like, Horus-Palkia now :p? Palkia, the Pokemon ruler of space and dimensions.

Hmm... seems a bit much from what's shown in the books. Horus was more of a combat based god, so it'd be more acceptable if he had combat based spells instead of spacial distortions.

Also, I think I'll call Set instead, I feel like I'd do a much better job playing out the character's personality than I would with the Ra one.

Air and combat, then. Air and spatial magic would be a better set of excellence for Shu, god of the firmament.

And do note that it's Definitely, not defiantly =P Although technically, defiantly is somewhat close to definitely, semantically.

Set, god of chaos, it is. I actually can't think of anything specific for this, although according to the books those who follow a path of chaos are known to use Storm Magic, a chaotic magic involving storms that's like elemental magic, in that you don't need spells to use it.

(The fifth element is Cheese, and apparently the entire 21st Nome was learning how to defeat Cheese demons during the Son of Sobek)

Okay, just waiting on SomeoneSomewere, Kaithas, and IrishAngelQueen. If anyone can't reserve today, I'll still have to open up the new thread, but I'm quite sure that there'll be enough time for them to hopefully get the god they want.

Does this mean we are giving up on Roman and Greece Gods and going for these Egyptian gods

You're in luck, because we're actually going to be doing a reboot of this RP! That means more open spots, especially since there a good number of people who haven't posted in this one for a long time. So far members are:

Krein (me)
Whizzball1
Jangel13
SomeoneSomewere
IrishAngelQueen
Kaithas?
