It's no big deal, we all made a lot of mistakes the whole time we were in this RP. I'm just glad that no one's been kicked out / dropped because of them~

But when you worded it like that it sounded like a resignation letter...

Nah, I am pretty good on you guys making mistakes, it is a game system RP after all. People will usually make mistakes and I am not an asshole to kick you guys out because of them.

After all...

And the king... is good to his subjects.

Anyway, currently working on my own chara while I wait for you guys to depart on your adventure.

Also Lyrisa's reading of the tome wouldn't have been long enough to elicit more rolls (really though you just recently went through it. For these kinds of things its either once per day or when the circumstances change, like if you go to a quiet place or a library, or rank up in the Skills needed.

Wasn't planning on it. She's just looking through it, to look through it. As noted in my post, nothing was sticking anyhow. She's just waiting for Leifr since he kind of left in a hurry.

Forgive me, Leifr tends to overthink things when it comes to Lyrisa, then it makes him uncomfortable and he tries escaping. His willpower and mental strength is in need of an artificial boost in form of magic drugs.

...I'll work on fixing that.

Leifr's isn't the only willpower that needs a boost.

Fiore's needs a boost as well.

Ryu said "My name is Fiore," Fiore said as he walked up to the girl. "Hey, you're pretty cute, huh? Cuter than that lovely worker back there in the tavern."

And so begins Fiore's quest to obtain the biggest harem.
God speed, Fiore.

Calm and collected, Fiore rarely speaks, and if he ever does speak, almost everything that comes out of his mouth sounds as if it's a command. Fiore is overall a nice person, trying to help people however he can whenever he can; however, his looks lead people to think otherwise and tend to make people shy away from him, especially people around his age; to add to this, Fiore is never able to make friends, nor is he able to make time with friends due to the loss of his hometown, which makes him train with his free time.

Who are you and what have you done to Fiore?

While I'm at it, what's society's general view on Alchemy?

Fiore's trying to get to know new people, and not to mention that the fact that Fiore almost got taken over by his other consciousness only adds to this.

Over the past few years ever since Fiore had had his Schizophrenia (which is just really fun to play out), there have been many times (if not all) where Fiore's consciousness had tried to take over Fiore, and Fiore being able to resist, however, since this time, Fiore barely was able to resist, Fiore had fallen into a slight state of madness, but too hide this, to be able to do his job, he must put on a mask.

Not to mention the fact that it has been years since Fiore had worked in a team (ever since his village was destroyed)

Edit: Think of it as Fiore is a beaten dog who has been beaten so many times, in this case, his parents abandoning him, his village being destroyed, the killing of an innocent man, and even though Fiore is weighted down by this, he still wants to actively make friends, especially around people his age (looking at you, Leifr!)

A beaten dog will still be happy, no matter what.

Can't wait 'til Fiore tries making an androgynous druglord his friend~

Edit:
Since both Leifr and Fiore spoke to Lyrisa, I'll wait for Pyromania99 before beginning on my next post.

Society accepts Alchemy. In fact, they think it is better than the dark, bad shit magic by a long shot. this because of the good it has done in recent years. There are some people here and there who don't like it, thinking it is a craft that perverts natural things by making strange substances or items (like acids), but those people are far and few.

For Alchemy you can make many different kinds of items (you can always experiment, special materials or herbs you find in travels good for this). You can TRY to make anything, but the DL for certain rare or advanced things (like Liquid Fire (alchemist's fire, but here it is known as Liquid Fire or Sea Flame)) may be alot higher.

As you travel though you may find scrolls, tomes, or other such writings that depict how to make certain special things, either giving you access to special forms of alchemy or lowering the DL for certain items (like with the Grimoire Trait for instance, it could contain a way to make some special form of item).

Instant healing potions or shit like that is incredibly rare though, very hard to make even with knowledge (and of course, usually is best for those with a decent Hardiness Score as are all alchemical substances meant to be consumed)

The difference between herbal medicines and alchemical ones is that herbal medicines aren't as strong, but they are somewhat easy to make if you have the appropriate herbs (which means you also don't need to come out of pocket for expensive materials).

Alchemical medicines or substances meant to be consumed are stronger, but have side affects that occur upon failure of a Hardiness Roll (you still experience the intended affect if you fail the roll, but you also experience the bad side affect). Like a 'healing elixir' would rejuvenate you, healing Energy and Vitality, but upon failure of a Hardiness Roll you become nauseous for a time, getting a -2 to all rolls for about thirty minutes to an hour. Usually Fumbling a Hardiness Roll when drinking things like these means you don't experience the intended affect and you experience the side affect (in some cases, the side affect may be a bit more severe)

So yea, that's Alchemy and Herb Craft in a nut shell.

Of course, using Herbs you find in alchemy can not only save you coin on materials, but sometimes can even lower the DL of what you are trying to do (like if you use a potent herb with healing properties or a herb known to be quite poisonous for making poisons)

Of course, when I say anything I mean within reason XD

Also within costs as well, as buying materials for experiments (which is just done in town, you buy a certain amount of materials worth a certain amount, no buying specific or special materials cause I am not making some long material list for alchemy. This isn't Dragon Quest VIII)

Can you use item drops (lol) from monsters (lol)?

As in, can you fight and kill some horned beast and then use your sword to cut (read:smash) off it's horn(s), grind it up, and use it as an ingredient in alchemy? Because I always wondered what would happen if someone drank a metal slime smoothie.
