Setting

In the world of Gelbaron, 6 grand continents filled the landscape of the world. The entire world is slightly larger than the world that we would call home. One of the continents is about 1/3 of the size of Pangaea, being smaller than Asia. Each continent held the extremes of Earth’s harshest terrain, ranging from a place of extreme cold to mountains that would be able to block out the sun to the unbearable heat of an expansive desert.

The smallest continent, Eoqusse, has many ecosystems within it, ranging from the only fungus forest in the world to the small inland sea that takes up over 1/3 of the continent. Feraena Forest is one of the four forests in the entire world, with it being the only fungus forest in the world. Some of the vegetation in the forest can reach the height of the tallest trees in Garresch Rainforest in Gelbeterron. The next place of interest is the Plains of Irilkon. The vast thunder plains is nothing but stormy, the landscape being filled with metallic stalactites and rusted tors. Surprisingly, even though there is lightning streaks that goes on for miles, there is rarely any rain in the plains. At the heart of the plains is Levia, the capital of Eoqusse, being nicknamed Lightning City because it is where most of the lightning is directed to. In the heart of the inland sea is a mysterious island that is home to the landmark called the Ruined Mansion. No one knows where it came from, but no one has returned from their venture there because of a mysterious 'curse' that the house supposedly have.

The continent of Galacteo, the second smallest continent, holds the hazards of ice and freezing temperatures. Only the edges of Galacteo hold the urban lands, since the Icy Wastelands were very hostile, and remained uninhabitable since time began. Tales have been heard that the temperatures throughout the land goes below -100 F, leaving those that venture into the heart of the Icy Wastelands freezing in a matter of seconds. The only few that are able to withstand the temperatures of Galacteo are the People of the Ice. They alone are adapted to the harsh blizzards and are reputably called the 'True Humans'. The capital, which is set in the Icy Wastelands is Gelidaro, or the Blue Star of Galacteo to outsiders of the continent. Rumours have it that there is a mysterious creature that lives in the heart of the Icy Wasteland, which was the cause for the majestic Drægar to move away from the waters that split the two landmasses.

Taelvera is the fiery continent. It is home to the largest volcano in the world, one which is reputable for the many deaths that it possesses during the many descents of the fire pilgrims that mainly reside in the continent. Mortalio Mountain is the highest point in the world, reaching the same height of Mount Everest. The continent's name is derived from the massive caldera that takes up nearly the entire continent, the entire area marked out by the famous Infernus Halo. The only safe passage through the entire Halo, which is nothing but a massive ring of lava, is through the capital city, Flæris, on the east of the ring. Those that come from the port city of Liaut will either try and brave the perilous passage through the Halo, infested by the thousands of burning undead that take a hold on it, or travel several hundreds of miles around to get to the capital city. According to the book of mythos in the libraries of Flæris, there is a mysterious surprise at the heart of Mortalio Mountain that no one has yet to see.

The third largest continent, Aureanus, is the south pole of the world. It has a similar climate to Galacteo, but the temperature is warmer than its sister continent. It is always sunny, though the gentle winds that brush across the landscape makes the warm rays of the sun cold. With the sun constantly shining down, the landscape is constantly bright, making it hard for travelers to see what dangers would approach them. The creatures in Aureanus, notably the elusive White Halergeth (a large, white lizard that is a similar build to a Komodo Dragon), are several times more vicious than anything seen in Galacteo, making the trek more dangerous. The continent is has two ice shelfs, one nearly splitting the continent into two landmasses, are the main features of the continent. Glaciera is, though not as beautifully sculpted as the ice buildings in Gelidaro, a beautiful city to visit.

Out of the two largest continents, the landscape of Celbaron is expansive. The Celbarean Desert alone is the biggest area of nature in the entire world, taking up nearly 2/3 of the area of the continent itself. The desert itself is one of the hottest places on the entire world, second only to the caldera of Taelvera and the Infernus Halo. The unbearable rays of the sun and the lack of clouds are certain to leave people traveling the desert wanting to drink constantly. The nights, due to the lack of shelter, gets very cold, though not as cold as the two ice continents. Sandstorms are prevalent towards the heart of the desert and near one of the capitals of the continent, Salizærba. Amaroth Mountains has the second largest volcano in the world, the Volcano of Caern, and the Head of Celbaron is the smallest mountain range in the entire world. Malea is the city on the edge of the Land of the Malou, badlands that have heat extremes that makes the Celbarean look like a cold place. The only thing that stops the lands from being the hottest place is the clouds that frequently come from the mountains.

The final continent of Gelbeterron, its size overshadowing Celbaron by a fair margin, held the mountains, rolling plains and the massive forests. The Gateway to Gelbeterron is the largest mountain range in the world, over 5 times the size of the Head of Celbaron, though it is still smaller than the Celbarean Desert. Roads have been built for a thousand years so the Beacon of Hope and Galbeez are linked. However, during the times when the roads were made, several road builders made roads that led through the mountains, either leading to a longer road to either of the two cities, or to an inevitable death. All around Gelbeterron knows this about these mountains; if you are unprepared, and enter the Gateway, you will never reach the other side of it, leading to the hands of starvation or the hands of the hostile life forms that dwell inside. The other mountains that are in Gelbeterron are the amply named 'Werepyre' Mountains, where fiendish creatures of the night are able to rip a full grown man in their bare hands. Folia Forest and Jaeltreg Forest are forests that are home to deciduous and coniferous trees respectably. Garresch Rainforest is the only rainforest in the entire world, placed in between the Gateway and 'Werepyre' Mountains, where it continuously rains, save for the Beacon of Hope that is Terrubane. Silvæa is the other capital of Gelbeterron, which is at the heart of Jaeltreg Forest.

Gelbeterron, Celbaron and, to some extent, Galacteo and Aureanus is split up by the massive Aranth Ocean. The waters are more tropical than some of the other oceans, which makes the coastlines around it some attractive places for families to go and spend the day. Towards the heart of Aranth, Axehead Islands and Solitude Island is placed. Solitude Island is a place of absolute tranquility, no human ever marring the beauty that the island has, each tree placed in the ground to perfection. Axehead Islands, on the other hand, still has some beauty. The small group of islands are marred with the rumours of pirates inhabiting the islands being something that forces merchant ships to keep their eyes out onto the horizon. However, Axehead Islands and Solitude Island held beauty, both are haunted by the final group of islands, only known as the Unforgiven Islands. Once renowned for being the islands that was home to the famous blacksmith, Calelotte, and some of the finest craftsmanship that the world has seen. On the other hand, they were also the islands that led to his downfall. Once a lush green island, now only black ground and death reside on the island.

The second largest ocean in the world is Daergren Ocean, the ocean that links Galacteo, the north of Gelbeterron and the north of Taelvera. Due to the nature that the ocean being so close to the cold continent, the waters that makes up the ocean is icy cold, able to freeze someone to death within minutes of exposure. Not even the massive amounts of layers to keep a person's body warm is unable to keep that person alive. There is also the danger that there is various icebergs floating in the ocean that makes it too dangerous for sea faring folk to travel in, lest they want to crash into them. Each iceberg is unique in size and shape, decreasing the chance to meet an iceberg of the same size and shape in the ocean to zero. This is also the ocean that a few of the largest Drægars live, being able to survive the monster that lives in the deep. Rumours have it that this beast lives in the waters that run between the two landmasses that make up Galacteo.

The relationship between Kælgreth and Daergren Ocean is the same as the relationship between Galacteo and Aureanus. The only difference between the second largest ocean and the ocean that links Aureanus and the south of Celbaron and Eoqusse is that the temperature is halfway between Aranth Ocean and Daergren Ocean. The waters are crystal blue, able to see to the underwater mountains that are underneath the surface of the water. Rumours have it that there is an ancient city that resides in these mountains, but many explorers have found nothing when they tried various methods of looking at the bottom of those ridges. These include Far-Sight, a spell that is able to see places in far away. There is no visible means of actually going to the bottom of Kælgreth because of the vicious creatures that lurks in the deep, including those that can drain those that use Far-Sight.

Finally, the smallest of all the oceans and seas that links the continents together is Beloth Sea, commonly known as 'Aranth's little sister'. Linking Galacteo, Taelvera and Celbaron, the sea is in the similar temperature range to Kaelgreth Ocean, though it is more towards the warm temperatures of Aranth, since it is close to two of the hottest continents in the world. Despite being near Daergren and Aranth Ocean, there is no Drægars in Beloth. Instead, there is the Derapherons, or the 'three headed shark' as it is rumoured to look like. The creature is rarely seen by sailors and it is even rarer that there are any survivors from the ships that come across one. Various descriptions are used because the experience of meeting one is horrific to those that look upon it.

Magic of Gelbaron

In all of this, Gelbaron has become a world where magic and technology has come hand-in-hand (the latter being not as developed as the former). Magic is an unnatural entity that have unknown origins. Some myths have said that they originated when the two supreme deities, known only as the Light and Dark Ancients, with every magic coming from either one of them. Others will say that each of the children of the Ancients had created their own specialized magic to personify them as a person. Whatever the true origins of it, it permeates throughout the world. While magic has been around for eons, it had only been within the past few millennia that there had been people who were able to utilize this power. At first, the few who had begun testing them had been killed due to unknown circumstances, but soon, they had managed to reign the newly found magic and had begun to craft their own spells.

As the first few decades have passed since people have begun to successfully use magic, they started to see that there are limits that even it cannot break (similar to special relativity on Earth). They started noting these limits down (and even noted down what happened to those who used too much magic) and called these note the Precendentas Arcana (Precedents of the Arcane) for future generations to abide to, lest they face a fate worse than death.

The Forsaken Weapons of Callelotte

Plot

In the beginning, there were the Ancients. They, both of them created from the same being that time has all but forgotten, were both held responsible for creating the planet Gelbaron. The Light Ancient, representing life and everything is good, set about creating all life that is on there through their own births. The Dark Ancient, representing Death and everything that is dire, carved the landscape and defined every living thing's life span. When both of them worked together, they created the laws of the world, the natural progression of evolution and then formed a mystical force that represented their essence: magic. Once the world was completed, they both had sworn an oath that their balance as opposite sides of a coin and not interfere with the balance that they had created, making sure that whatever one does, the other does something to restore balance. They have both agreed to this and allowed each other to work to their own roles for thousands of eons.

However, seeing as the world they had created just floating around in their existence and remaining ever so dull for such a long time, the Dark Ancient decided to seize the power of the world for himself and ridding the higher planes of his sister. Looking onto the world, he had planned for years in order for him to control the world and cast the Light Ancient into Limbo. During this time, he poured nearly all of his essence into 20 spheres of pure evil. He created a spell that, depending on the attempts that he needed to gain full control of the world, would allow him to use 4, 6 or 10 of these orbs in order of attempts to gain control of both the planet and the higher planes. Before the Light Ancient had a chance to realize her brother was attempting, he cast them down from his platform onto the different continents of the world.

Knowing that the oath that they agreed to was broken and something needed to be done to restore balance, the Light Ancient had, with the use of her Light Aura, created a spell and cast it onto 20 random people, hoping that this spell will then create the perfect method to balance the acts the Dark Ancient had created. These people, along with their descendants or objects that have their blood, would then have the purpose of destroying these orbs, with the destruction consuming the living essence of the person or object. Whether these people would realize their own destiny or not is something that only time could tell. As the spell was cast, the Dark Ancient looked on helplessly as his plans were being distorted by this revelation. While he had done everything that he could to prevent his plans from failing with causing disruption that would, hopefully, destroy these Disciples of Light, a lone man walks into the Head of Celbaron in order to search for materials to create more things for his forge. Along with some ore that contained the magical mineral Talunite, he came across 4 rocks of perfection. Picking them up and feeling the weight of them, the man, Callelotte, turns and walks away to travel back home to the islands - now called the Unforgiven Islands.

Years have passed since the Light and Dark Ancients plans were set into motion and many wars, ranging from the Schism of the Conuence Empire to the War of 3 Continents, have claimed the lives of many living beings, including the lives of the Disciples and their Descendants. Everything has been silent for many years, despite some skirmishes. However, something lurks in the unknown future and a storm is brewing over in the Amroth Mountains and the Werepyre Mountains. Another evil voice, known to those as Lord Sacremento, is scouring the lands in search of things that were long forgotten, causing destruction in its wake to a name that no one knows or understand.

He leads these minions of darkness, consisting of Werepyres and people of the desert to beseige the seats of the two empires of power, Conuence and Terrubane. The Conuence Empire, a long-established empire of power, fends its boarders with futility, with the loss of Berenol and the losing skirmishes of Qucndel on their front and gathering its strengths in the capital to fight them off. Towards the Terrubane Empire, the evil forces have overtaken Chaldon with ease and have spread rapidly upwards to the walls of the Beacon of Hope. The only thing that stands in the way of this evil force and the downfall of this empire are a handful of brave warriors. However, unbeknownst to them, their fates are intertwined to adventures across many continents, expanding many years and forging a legend for themselves.

Accepted Characters
Auroreon Greyback (Mercinus3) - The Tactical Mercenary
Narandail (Shienvien) - The Winged Marksman
Break (cthulhu) - The Void Adept
Verdis Theray (BantlingBee) - The Cheerful Bard
Adriella Theray (BantlingBee) - The Arcane Archer
Patrician Hankor Bluebeard (RabidAnubis) - The Capitalistic Nobleman
Here's my character as a note.

Character Name: Auroreon Greyback
Age: 26
Race: Human
Magic: None
Appearance:

Auroreon is a fairly large man, standing over 6'0” tall and weighing 200lbs. His build is fairly muscular, though not as obnoxious as some of the stronger men that are out there. He has ash blond hair that is of medium length, which hangs straight over his head. He has deep sapphire blue eyes, giving his face a sense of wisdom behind them. His facial features are sharp, almost hawk-like, that give people around him an uneasy feeling when he is not in a jovial mood. The one thing he does have on his face is a long, jagged scar that runs across his face, probably caused by a blunt knife.

His usual working attire is a studded leather jerkin, worn from use for one year too many times. The leather is brown, the lines where the leather had been bending a few shades lighter than areas that never move. The jerkin is covered by plated mail, which then allows him to be flexible while being moderately covered. The mail, however, has been rusted over the years due to neglect and use, making people assume that Auroreon had bought the armour from an antique dealer. Below the plated mail cuirass is the fauld, created by lamellar strips of steel to protect his waist. Wearing cotton trousers underneath that, his sabatons and greaves together give an impression that he is wearing riding boots. Around his waist, between the cuirass and the fauld, is a brown belt that has a pouch on it for storing his gun's bullets, scabbards for his claymore and dagger and a pouch that contains ammunition for his gun.

Personality:

The one thing that most people would see from his eyes is determination and perseverance. If there is one thing that he is particularly good at, through his personality, it is the determination that whatever task has been set up for him that he will be able to go through with that task onto the end. Apart from this determination, he is reserved and very calculating. He tends to be rather quiet with everyone that he is around, whether it was for a social setting in a tavern or during the heat of combat. His authoritative personality means that whenever he speaks, purely for the latter situation, he will bark out orders to make sure that everyone is properly co-ordinated and that everyone was to pull through in one piece. Although there have been rare instances that this would occur, but he does have a kinder side and willing to pull his own weight to make sure that whoever is in trouble is safe.

Traits:
Strengths

    -Good Swordsman
    -Very tactical
    -Good at throwing knives

Weaknesses

    -Not a great marksman
    -Always trusting
    -Not a great communicator
-Easily flustered in a group of people.

Equipment:

The first weapon that anyone would notice Auroreon having is a claymore. With the blade that is 115cm long, it appears tht it was made by a fine craftsman of an unknown origin. While it is an impressive weapon to hold, the one thing that attracted people's attention was the fact that the blade was an icy-blue colour, with the fact that it was made of the rare mineral talunite, and it's aura had shone with a similar colour. There are gold runes that go along the fuller of the blade, roughly translating to Silver Moon in the ancient language. The handle itself was made of gold, with the cross hilt slightly curving towards the area of the pommel. The pommel itself has an embedded gem made of pure talunite, giving it a deep turquoise colour of pure clarity. There is a turquoise leather fabric on the hilt so that the weapon was easier to hold in either one hand or both.

Another weapon that he uses often is a dagger. Given to him by his old master, the blade is what anyone would have expected. It has a simple, leather bound handle with no hilt. The blade is a foot long, the edge curving up towards a deadly point. Unlike the claymore, the dagger does not have any magical properties, not having talunite within the blade, and it just has a cold, steel grey colour to it. He mainly uses this knife now for menial things like hunting and, on occasion, shaving. However, he can rely on the sturdy blade if things get out of hand and Silver Moon is out of reach.

The final weapon he has, which he has obtained after a particular event (see Bio), is a flintlock pistol. While he rarely uses this, seeing as the weapon still scares him and the idea that he is not a good marksman, he uses it whenever his life is in immediate danger. It is a standard, smooth bore pistol that has a simple flintlock mechanism and a bog-standard grip and trigger mechanism.

Apart from those weapons, he has a medium pack that carries all of his needed equipment for journeys, e.g. food, rope, a big, sturdy cloth which he uses for a tent, some big stakes to pitch the tent down and various maps.

Bio:

Auroreon was born and raised in Terrubane's heart to a family of no particular honour or fame. While he did not know who his mother was, his father had been a member of the Terrubane Police Force who was easily corruptible. This was something that a few people at his school had picked up on and used day in, day out to make sure his life was miserable. While he found this school life uninteresting, he pressed on, making sure that he at least got through this so he can be his own self and get away from these people. However, when it came to a point where the group had almost beat him to death, an incident which he rarely talks to people about and a confrontation with his father about these things and his corruption, Auroreon decided to leave his home and never return to it.

While he was in down-town Terrubane, roaming the streets to try and make a living, he encountered the man who gave him the career path that he decided to take: a mercenary called Damenth. While the old mercenary rejected his advances, Auroreon's persistence and determination allowed Damenth to give the young boy a chance and taught him everything that he knew, ranging from combat training to tactics. During this time, the old man had given his apprentice a dagger to use for training and to defend himself. However, during one contract when Auroreon was 20, while being accompanied by two other mercenaries, a group of bandits ambushed them, fatally wounding Damenth and killing the two mercenaries. Auroreon had managed to fend them off at the cost of the thing that they were protecting being taken. However, he rushed over to his dying mentor's side. Damenth had placed his weapon, a claymore with the ancient runes calling it Silver Moon, in his own hands and uttered one sentence, “Always be strong and always go for what feels right...” Taking the claymore, he also looted the other mercenaries, which the only thing he obtained was a pistol. Since that day, he pushed himself as a mercenary.

Yeah I had been hoping for a separate tab to have all that information in. You can read the relevant for a character in mind, so you don't have to read all of it :)

These are old rules from another roleplaying forum I went to. It's Power Playing, where you can control other people's characters, or another type of GModding. I'll get that removed as it's pretty much nulled by the No GModding rule :)

K, swears that I will make another attempt at beating up that wall of text.... hey, I mean that in a good way! Tis sooooooooo creative! Lurvs it! This bunny needs to soak it in bit by bit. But thinking of being some kind of mana addict. Like totes needs to cast for any reason. So dependant on the stuff and wants to share with friends! And obsessed with finding magical trinkets. Like Gollum obsessed. Well, not that obsessed but enough to cause a drawback or make drama in the story^^

This bunny gunna go eats then so gunna get right on it! Oh! M3, is it acceptable to post work in progress characters here?

I can't see a problem with that, Bunnita. Feel free to create a WIP Character sheet and let me know once it is completed.

Looks like it is gathering more interest here? Alright, will dig my sheet-thingy up.
Character Name: Narandail (self-given)

Age: 43

Sex: Male (winged variant)

Race/species: Agiroan

Magic: His skills in using magic appear marginal at best, although he does seem to have some affinity to fire elemental magic. The grandeur of casting exploding fireballs into enemies' ranks and projecting great walls of flame has never been observed in him, as he only - perhaps because he is unable to do more - uses this ability of his to aid himself in mundane tasks like starting campfires and lighting candles and torches without needing any effort or specialized equipment.
Also, his gun seems to always fire when he wants it to, no matter what the weather or which condition the gunpowder he uses is in.

Physical appearance: He is generally humanoid in overall body structure, bipedal - stands between 5'9'' and 5'10'' (between 1.75 and 1.78 meters) at full height - and with a fairly humanlike head, arms and hands, as well as humanlike pelvis and vaguely humanlike legs. That, however, sums up most of what can immediately and unmistakably identified as humanoid.
For those who have not seen many Agiroans of this type before, 'he has wings' is perhaps the most defining feature of his appearance.

The skin on his body, head and limbs has a light brown complexion with an unusual green tint, whereas the wings are much darker in color, somewhere between a deep dark brown and dark evergreen-green. His eyes are likewise dark brownish-green, much like the membranes of his wings, but his hair is almost perfectly jet-black. The latter is long and thick, and unlike on humans, it does not only grow out of his scalp, but also on the back of his neck and down his spine, the individual strands getting shorter and shorter the lower they are growing, and stopping entirely about right above his tail-bone. At the same time, it appears that he would not be able to grow a beard if he wanted to, since even without shaving, his face seems to remain clear of any kind of additional hair-growth - except for his eyebrows, which are fairly similar to those of humans and black like his hair.
His eyes are likewise humanlike in shape, as is his nose, which would be considered long and narrow by human standards, but nothing unusual. His lips are perhaps a bit thinner than is usual for humans and are colored almost the same as his skin, which makes those a bit hard to distinguish, but those are his teeth which might stand out a little - he has fairly distinctive canines, longer, stronger and sharper than those of humans, and his other teeth follow suit -, and while his chin could almost be labeled slightly pointed, his jaws appear rather strong, more powerful than those of most lesser humanoids.
But what truly marks his face as inhuman is the fact that from the very rear ends of his lower yaw and as a continuation of his cheekbones extend backwards four spikes, the two originating from his cheekbones - one from each - ending roughly next to his fairly humanlike ears, and the lower two continuing from the back corners of his lower jaw being slightly shorter.

His neck looks to be of average length - by human standards -, but is a bit more muscled than would be ordinary; he, however, does not give off the impression of a wide-shouldered person, since his shoulders actually are not that wide despite what his neck might suggest. His arms look much like those of a human who occasionally does a bit of heavier work, but does not necessarily train on purpose, and the fingers on his hands rather appear long and nimble than very strong - an artist's fingers, some might say, although the impression of near-delicateness is somewhat ruined by the sturdy, dark and notably long and pointed fingernails. Those look quite likely to leave extensive half an inch deep gashes in someone's flesh should their owner only desire so.

His torso on overall looks very powerful, however, with extremely well-defined developed musculature, with a sternum that seems to arc slightly forward like that of birds - he also appears to altogether lack collarbones, which allows him to bring his shoulders forward and make them touch in front of himself - and waist that makes it seem likely that he would not even flinch should the average man attempt to punch him in the stomach. That all is because of the two dark wings extending from his back, placed lower on his body than his arms and connected to their own separate set of double shoulder-blade-like formations.
- Those are the appendages which all this 'excess' muscle on his upper body is meant to support - it is no easy feat to propel a creature of his size into air, and thusly the draw-power of his wings is immense. Those, nearly eight meters (about twenty six feet) from the tip of one to that of another, are structured almost like a second pair of arms, only extending from closer to his back as opposed from roughly from his sides and being both more muscled and significantly longer, especially four of the fingers. The thumb, however, has turned into three-feet long spike, one that is mobile at the base. The flight-membrane feels similar to thick soft leather covered in velvet and is slightly warm to the touch, and is supported by all the wing-fingers but the spikelike thumb, and also connects to the side of his body, going down to the hip.
It must be noted that being purposefully hit by one of his wings is not something that is to be underestimated - since his wings are strong enough to lift him three meters into air with a single flap and let him carry a weight almost equal to his own in flight, those are also strong enough to effectively crush the average man's ribcage in (breaking several ribs at once is, after all, something even a well-aimed sharp kick by a trained human can do) and send him flying to his back a few meters away. Alternatively, the agiroan can simply opt to impale a person on the wing-thumb-spike.
As a flier, he is perhaps not spectacularly fast compared to other airborne entities, but he is still mostly capable of keeping up with a running horse, and his maneuverability is respectable, exceeding that of most other winged beings of his size-category.

His hips are comparatively narrow, but not to an extent which would appear disproportional, and his pelvic region is generally comparable to that of a male human. His legs, however, while proportionally about as long as a human's, appear very sleek, with especially the calves being very weakly pronounced. The ankles, then, look similar to a human's, but the feet themselves more resemble a cross between a bird's and a human's, with bare, normal, thicker-under-the-soles skin like that of human feet rather than the hardened scales of birds', but with three long, thick and strong taloned toes reaching forward and a fourth, slightly shorter one extending back from where a human heel would be.
The build of his legs and feet coupled with his high balance-point and the size of his wings even when folded makes him a somewhat slow runner - he would rather fly when he needs to get somewhere fast, as long as there is enough space for him to flap his wings -, but in case he feels like sleeping while sitting on a branch, like birds commonly do, or hanging upside down from somewhere while only holding onto something with a single foot, then those things he can do easily enough.

Equipment and attire: He typically wears nothing on his feet, since most footwear would only render his feet less useful, should he ever find something that would even fit onto his unusually-shaped feet.
He generally does wear pants, however, usually neutrally-colored long ones, although whether the main reason for opting for wearing this kind of articles of clothing is protection and keeping extra warmth, or the convenience of pockets and belts for storing things, or even simply appearing more acceptable in the eyes of humans, is unknown. The pants, as hinted, are held in place with a belt - namely a wide, sturdy leather one to which a multitude of other things is usually attached - four fairly ordinary all-purpose knives (in their sheathes), a pouch with money, a small flask with water, and another pouch for spices and a few small useful objects which aren't stored in his pockets instead, also a pouch for gunpowder; bullets are in a pocket of his pants. .
On his upper body he generally, yet again, wears nothing - mostly because his wings tend to get in the way of wearing something of the kind. He is apparently quite temperature-proof. If anything, he might don something that has a hole for the head, but rather than having sleeves, simply splits at the soulders for the remaining length of the fabric, leaving the sides free and allowing his wings and arms alike to remain unrestrained. The lower corners of such garment, then, would be attached to his belt to ensure that it would stay put even when he is currently not standing straight.
He also has a fairly common spear he typically carries along, metal-tipped and about six feet (one point eight meters) long.

The most noteworthy object in his possession, however, is an undecorated - perhaps a strange fact given that guns are not all that abundant - long-barreled single-shot gun, with a strap for swinging it over shoulder (though for him it looks slightly awkward). This one is a sort-of gift for the gunsmith he worked for for almost seven years, basically for food as he did not get any separate payment - the firearm was originally meant for a customer, who, for reasons unknown, never showed up to receive the object he had already paid three fifths of the price for, presumably because of his own demise.
Narandail is rather good with the weapon, as good as is possible with this level of technology. He'd also be fairly accurate with a crossbow, if someone gave him one.

Hey Shien. Yeah I thought I give the RP another try with the resurrection of RPG. I think I accepted Narandail before and I'll accept him again.

Character Name: Break.
Age: Older than her appearance but younger than her personality (she’s forgotten exact numbers).
Race: Void.
Magic: Void.
Appearance: Usually none, she appears as blob of unformed chaotic void essence, blacks as dark as the night and then some with ghostly grey streaks that spark like lightening. Of course when she is upon the material plane she coalesces into a form more appropriate for interaction. At this time she appears as a mostly humanoid woman, with hair white as fog and as long as she is tall, it’s pinned and trapped with black ribbons and hidden pins but the then made shoulder length tips dance and flutter like smoke from a chimney and she cannot control this. Below a spikey fringe which seems to dim and lighten are a pair of vibrant red eyes, the kind that could pierce the darkness itself ringed with the same black as the void itself.
She had a button nose set into a delicate face with cupids bow lips always held in a slight pout even when at rest. She had high cheekbones and thick black lashes that brushed them and fraternised with the thin white lines of her brows. Her complexion was pale in hue compared to ‘true humans’ two shades two light to be considered peaches and cream but she didn’t look quite like a corpse either.
On a slender neck was a black choker that helped hold on her coat which, as black as the Void itself, fell across her shoulders and down her sides, covering her arms in long, belled sleeves that, as with the coat tails that split just after the curve of her thighs, reached her ankles. While the coat remained unadorned the sleeves which started plain began traced and then thickened with fog grey markings like those that ran through stone, only forming proper embroidery patterns towards the last foot or so of ‘fabric’. The coat looked almost wet at a glance, perhaps sticky as well but it behaved much as any fabric might in the material realm.
Below the coat she wore a sleeveless white dress, this covered her cleavage and fell to where decency was almost questioned. It laced in the front with the same kind of ribbons that pinned her hair and while it looked soft, almost feathery or rabbit down to the touch one would know its unearthly properties for no matter what Break did she never seemed to ‘expose’ herself.
Covering her legs were long white boots which seemed almost moulded to her form with no sure sign of how they went on or came off. They ended at the upper thigh and while one would think there were, by the boots design, small heels one could never be sure for Break had quite the difficulty manifesting her feet and so they always appeared hazy or covered in shadow.
She was a slip of a thing at a modest height with a delicate looking physique, though with her arms constantly hidden it was only by the thighs one could tell there was strength in this body. She had slender ands with long tapered fingers which often seemed to amuse her.
When in combat it is from the ‘coat’ she draws her arsenal and protection. (Will be described when they appear in the rp or when I don’t feel so ill)
Personality: Break seems on the surface to be an ocean of calm, it would seem that little phases her. She is quiet and slow to speak or involve herself in conversations. She almost seemed uncomfortable in crowds and prefers to hover close to only one or two people at a time. Of course this is all surface reading, underneath she is a quick witted girl who takes her time to think –or over think- before she speaks. She is forgetful and it irritates her not being able to remember things or people from her past or even her present! She shuns crowds because the noise makes it harder to think which, with a mind empty and blank, was often hard enough as it is. She is a loyal person and quick to trust where perhaps she ought to be more careful, she is also quick to forgive, both curses of her amnesia.
Traits
Strengths
- Void Magic Adept.
- Silent Foot falls.
- Agile and quick.

Weaknesses
- Is slow to speak so is often over looked in a conversation.
- She has bouts of amnesia where she's likely to forget everything and one outside of the Void.
- She can't stay in the physical plane too long and has to return to the Void to 'recharge/rest'.
- When she becomes too exhausted she returns to 'wisp' form and is easily swayed be it physically or mentally/emotionally.

Equipment: Physically she carries nothing, her weapons, armour and shield she makes from the void magic at her command. She owns but one thing that she seems to treasure, a small silver locket which has long ago rusted so it won't open.
Bio: WIP
Other:
i) Making her angry –which by no means is easy to do- can result in very very bad things.

If you want to make things a little bit simpler for you, you can introduce the Biography of your character in the RP itself and not add it to the sheet.

You say that common fantasy races are acceptable. Are those dwarves, elves, ect?

(I decided to avoid an airship, because i figured it would take away many adventure opportunities that land travel grants.)

Character Name: Patrician Hankor Bluebeard
Age: 32
Race: Dwarf
Appearance: Hankor in body structure is much like the average dwarf, standing at around three feet tall and having enough muscle to fight a much larger creature or work in the mines. His face has the wrinkles of a man who has been exhausted from work some time ago but the fine keeping of a man who has not worked recently. Bluebeards silver eyes are often seen in a frown of concentration, staring at books and records and the such through the spectacle that is over his right eye.

All of the dwarf's hair is a dark grey blue, an obvious abnormality that has given him attention of both the generous and the malicious sort throughout his lifetime. As a nobleman, he keeps his beard finely braided into about ten different braids, with the largest ones on the left and right, each braid held into place by a silver ring on the end. His mustache curls upward at both ends, while the hair on his head is shorter and falls down easily in a neat fashion.

His head is often adorned by a stainless steel circlet adorned with a mana stone held firmly in place by 'claws'. Hankor likes to wear fine clothes, often times with many pockets for various reasons, but most of the time trimmed with silver and showing his house crest on them. Overall, his appearance is a noble one and gives him the attention a noble deserves. The Bluebeard house crest was made by him, the first nobleman in the family, a triangular design with silver lightning flashing over a background the color of his hair.
Magic: Electric

Personality: Proud to the point of arrogance, Bluebeard is a hardworking noble who considers money to be one of the more important things in life. Only a few loyalties that he holds are above that of cash, so Hankor has only made a few friends over his lifetime. However, he does reward those who work hard for him with the money they deserve and this fair pay has earned a good reputation among some of the dwarvern populace, often leading to competitions for jobs on the Brassheart. (He is obviously a capitalist) Hankor is however careless with his own safety and overly bold in some moments to the point of stupidity. He worries often about his appearance, something that began because of his blue hair. Politically, he is a libertarian and acts as a representative for that party in the parliament of the dwarvern legislature, an obvious standout from the normal conservative beliefs that he political system works for.

Strengths
Wealth, and the strengths that come with it.
Although not a genius, he is very quick and quite well learned.
He might as well have midas touch.
Weaknesses
His political views are some of the least common, and this brings royal enemies.
Although he is average in strength for a dwarf, he is below average in weapon usage for both this group and among most nobility/
He doesn't get along with poor people, mostly because of his arrogance.
His blue beard makes him obvious among a crowd.
Can be stupidly bold.

Personal Equipment: A mace, his clothes, his purse, his spectacle and the modifications for it. He expects other people to do the heavy lifting.

His Lordships Holdings: Brassheart, the home and the ship of the Patrician. It takes ten to crew it minimally, maintains twenty-five, but could hold around a hundred if cramped. In the rear is the main engine, using a paddlewheel that can be retracted inwards in order to protect it from weather or make it easy to get in a harbor. The entrance on it is large for easy loading for both supplies for the ship and goods to be transported elsewhere. The hull is of dwarvern (blue) bronze, a heavy and durable metal that is not easily destroyed. A ballroom is located in the front, surrounded by tough glass that provides a safe but pretty view of the sea. The ship is spacious most of the time, for additional cargo and just in case scenarios. On the back is the lookout tower topped with the office and bedroom of his lordship. Although the ship has cannons for defense, it is most definitely not a warship and a fleet of determined enemies could easily sink it with minimal losses. Rumors say that it could go underwater, but none of the crew members can accept or deny this.

Shares of smaller merchants and money abundant.

A noble title and the vote in the dwarvern legislature it brings.

Bio: Bluebeard grew up in a middle class family of blacksmiths. They were neither rich nor poor, but they all had the trademark blue beards and for some reason everything made or designed by their hands would have a mild blue tint to it. Although his family was smart, Hakon excelled at creating things. Eventually he became an entrepreneur in dwarvern society, designing and crafting machines of war, commerce, or resource extraction for the dwarvern peoples. This began to bring him wealth, and things accelerated over time.

While many may think his blue hair would have a large effect on his life, it really didn't. Sure it gave him some more noble attention for his inventions, but his work spoke for itself louder than any invention could. Eventually he managed to save up supplies to design his own ship to trade with. It took maybe fifty years but eventually he gained a rather massive proportion of the world's wealth.

He applied for the position of Patrician, and was ordered to create a house to hold his flag in order to achieve this money bought noble title. He built Brassheart with the majority of his wealth, and since then has carted the world's nobility around for joyrides and obviously politics. However, he is up for more adventure mostly because of boredom.
