He was happy about this, and walked up the stairs and found adoor leading to the roof. He walked out onto it and looked over the edge. The city looked nice. He backed away from it and layed in the middle of the roof.

Shade stood on the roof of a building. The building next to her was the apartment building. There was a three foot gap between the buildings. Taking the risk Shade ran and leapt the gap, landing on the apartment roof. She spotted someone on the room.
"Can I stay here?" She asked.

He shrugged. "It's fine with me, but you'll have to ask Roxy, this is her place."

Johnny sat down, he felt his normal fatalistic self, but something in his gut helped ease him.

Shade Walked over to the stairs leading deeper into the apartment. She walked down until she came upon a room. She assumed that people would be inside and opened the door.

Roxy started to make herself something to eat. With no electricity her choices were limited. She opened a can of peaches and sat at her table unwinding.

johnny was glad he was well fed in his 'jail' it was paradise to him. Not much of a subtle way of thinking it was his opinion non-the-less. Smelling peaches he refused to ask for food. He was sure they needed the food more than him. "so you all got jobs, or things you do?"

"There's plenty of cans in the cupboard." Roxy indicated to her apartment. She knew that look. She had wear the same look for weeks before she broke down and started working the streets. She had chosen the managers suite because it was the biggest near the exit. "I don't have a job persay. But I do go out in the evenings to earn money."

"thanks", Shade told Roxy before sitting down and taking out her gun. She took out a handkerchief as well and began to clean her gun.

"I'm gonna stay here, too, if you don't mind." he said.

Johnny looked at there montly crew. Such a strange group. "so why are you letting us squat in your territory?"

"Whoa, amazing, you've even got a pantry. Haven't had one'a these since... um... since a while ago." Vindle said, looking in the pantry and grabbing some random food to eat it. He used to be a picky eater but at this point what kind of food didn't matter.
"I just had this near death encounter with the well known hairpin girl who likes spiders. You all ever seen her before?" he said with a mouth full of food, not aware that Shade was there.
