"There should be time this evening. I'll ask the counselors about using the supplies. I don't think they'll mind." Kyle told Kido. "I'll look for you after the conpetition."

"Okay!" Kido brightened up at the response and tried to get through lunch quickly. As soon as he finished, he cleaned up and started off towards the door. "I'm going to find Roxy, so I'll see you later!"

Roxy sat in the woods not far from camp. She thought about wrapping the shadows around her but she decided not to waste the energy. The woods were quiet right now. She leaned against a tree trying to decide what to do. She should go find Dante but she wasn't in the mood to deal with the vampire.

As soon as he left the dining hall, Kido went straight for the forest. He didn't really expect to see Roxy out in the open, but there were plenty of shadows there, so perhaps she would be hanging around somewhere. At any rate, he thought that it might be best to get as far away from the others as possible if he hoped to find her.

Oddly enough, there did appear to be someone underneath one of the trees only a few minutes into the forest. The short boy was a bit surprised to identify this person as Roxy; he really thought it would take some time to find her. How lucky! Not wanting this chance to escape him, Kido quickly approached, hoping that the girl would be willing to speak to him despite the fact that he wasn't really sure how to begin. He was already there, however, so he decided that he had better say something.

"Um...Hi, Roxy...Are you busy right now?"

"Not particularly." Roxy answered honestly. "Just sitting here thinking. Did you need something Kido?"

"Yes." Kido looked down at his shoes for a moment before continuing. "I...want to apologize. I'm not entirely sure what happened, to be honest, but if you tell me, I'll be sure that it doesn't ever happen again. I really don't want to have you angry with me..."

"I am not angry with you Kido." Roxy told him honestly. "I am more angry with myself. I should be more careful." She didn't want him to thin that she blamed him for what had happened. It wasn't in anyway his fault that she had screwed up. "You did nothing wrong."

"Y-You're not angry with me? Really?" The short boy felt an odd mixture of slight surprise, confusion, and relief, all of which he was sure probably showed in some amount on his face. "I'm glad. I can't stand the thought of upsetting a friend. It hurts too much." He moved closer and sat down near the girl. "I'm sure you should be forgiving to yourself, too. Accidents happen even when you are careful, right? So the best thing we can do is learn from them and accept that things don't always work sometimes, I think."

"Really. I am not angry with you." Roxy replied. She watched him warily was he sat near her. He was small then she was so he shouldn't be anyone she had to worry about. But she had been wrong before. She would do her best not to make that mistake again. "I suppose you have a point accidents happen."

"Y-yeah...I am," James said. He sighed quietly, smoke blowing out his mouth.

"You will get used to it here. I just blended in. But its best to smile at friendly faces..." she said to him. She was impressed on his power. Power of fire, perhaps? Really, she controls water. A perfect yin and yang.

Kido was silent for a moment before looking over towards Roxy, brow furrowing slightly in confusion. "Are you okay? You still seem really tense..." Completely unaware of what was going on, he thought for a brief moment before a possible reason came to mind. "Are you still worried about it? It must have been really important to you..."

James chuckled. "Well, it's kinda hard for a dragon to blend in, so my powers really stand out." He sniffed the air for a second. "You're a water user, right?" he asked. "I recognize that smell anywhere."

"I am a water user, a siren, and a mermaid" she said to him. She smiled as she moved her strawberry blond hair to the side of her face.

James chuckled. "Good to know. Now I know that if you ever start singing then I should plug my ears," he said jokingly.

She smiled and giggled. "Dont worry, I don't sing that often but I will let you know if I do" she said to him.

James smiled at her. "Well, I'm actually a dragon."

"Wait. An actual dragon? Wow, thats amazing!" she said with enthusiasm. She wasn't scared. She didn't care what this boy really was. She wasn't gonna run from him.
