"Animals like me. Kyle cant figure out why. He says it make no sense with how noisy and active I am." Ivy told him. "Stay behind me and I will show you were they usually are. We should be able to atleast find the tracks."

"Okay, then." Kido wondered why they wouldn't want that, but it wasn't something he thought that he would mind too much. It might be fun to share something like this with someone else, anyway. But who to go with; that was the next question. He looked around the fire pit to see who was still available to partner up with and thought about who might be fun to complete the search with.

James sighed when they said that everyone needed a partner. "Dammit..."

"Alright, just lead the way. Oh, and maybe the animals like you because you're just like them?" said David teasingly. "I swear if I didn't know any better, I would've mistaken you for a super-sized chipmunk. Hmm, maybe I can ask Rina to make you a chipmunk costume . . ."

Aiden walked over to kido, "uhh hey wanna be partners maybe?" He asked kind of nervously he was never really good at asking people things he was afraid of rejection to say the least. Aiden as at down next to kido incase he said yes to being his partner.

Kyle looked around. Why did they have to work in pairs? He wasn't comfortable asking people to help me. He looked to see who didn't have a partner.

"How did I not notice any deer here in during all those times training in the forest?" wondered David out loud. "Must be friggin' ninja deer or something . . ."

Aiden said happily since he was a vampire he hadn't been very happy everything seemed so boring but he was glad he found a partner Alastair followed behind kido as they went into the forest, "Don't worry I've become a pretty good tracker since I became a vampire." He said to kido as they ventured deeper into the woods.

Aiden said happily since he was a vampire he hadn't been very happy everything seemed so boring but he was glad he found a partner Alastair followed behind kido as they went into the forest, "Don't worry I've become a pretty good tracker since I became a vampire." "Oh yeah! You can probably sense them a lot better, right? That will probably make this a lot easier!" The shorter boy kept going until it looked like they were pretty far into the woods before stopping and looking around. "This looks like a good place. Can you tell if there's anything nearby?" He asked in a quieter voice, hoping that perhaps it would make him less likely to scare off anything that might be in the area.

Alastair said quietly focusing on all the sounds in the forest he close his eye, then quickly ran behind a jumping into the air catching somthing small in his hands he apparcohed kido barely opinion his hands to reveal a little chipmunk, "well there's one thing off our list haha." Alastair said laughing he thought he heard a deer in the distance and would tell kido about it in a moment.

Kido looked at the little creature in awe. "It's so cute! I'm sorry, little one, I hope we didn't scare you too badly. We'll put you right back, okay?" He spoke gently to it, hoping to somehow, maybe impossibly, calm it somewhat. Despite the fact that they had accomplished the objective of finding one, he couldn't help feeling a little scared for the small mammal. Being caught like that must be a little terrifying. He looked up to Aiden, giving a small smile. "Thank you for finding one. We should probably let it go now, right?"

Aiden could hear it's early beating it was going very fast he wanted to eat it but since kido was here he would spare it Aiden opened his hand and watched the little creature take off back up the tree, "I think I can smell a deer north a little ways want to go find it?" Aiden asked turning north.

Kido sighed as the chipmunk ran off. He was sure that it was glad to get back to its life. Looking back to Aiden, he nodded. "Yeah, let's go. That will hopefully make two animals!"

Aiden lead kido a good distance north intel he saw a clearing he heard some movement in the bushes about 500 ft north of them Aiden put his index finger to his lips to gesture kido to be quiet they stayed creeping towards the bushes.

"That's how I know they're ninja's," said David conspiratorially, "because they're fooling you into thinking they aren't. These guys are real pro's."

Ivy laughed. "You're silly. See these?" She pointed to the tracks in front of her. "These are deer tracks. They were here within the last hour."

David nodded sagely, before whispering close to Ivy. "That's what they want you to think," he said. He stood straight back up and grinned. "Alright then, what next?"
