After Jasmine left, James simply formed his wings and flew up into the top of the tallest tree he could find, and looked down over everything.

The bell rang calling the teens to skills class.

At the sound of the bell, Kido stood up from his spot under the tree and started off for the fire pit. Time to see what skills they were meant to learn after all. As soon as he reached the area, he found a place to sit quickly and waited to see the others arrive.

Ivy bounces along the path. She is eager to find out what they will be learning next. She wondered where Kyle was. She hadn't seen him in awhile. Maybe he had finally made a friend. He needed a friend. He was always so serious. She thought he was probably lonely too.

David walked towards Ivy. "So . . . where's the special skill class area?" he asked. It was funny that despite the things he had gotten into here, he was still relatively new. "And where's your brother? I don't think I've seen him since bowling."

"Class is at the campfire." Ivy pointed to where the other campers where gathering. "I don't know where Kyle is. I saw him at art but he has been hiding since then. I hope he found a friend. Kyle seems very lonely sometimes."

"Haha, actually I've got the a feeling that Kyle could be good friends with anyone if he wanted to," said David. More than that, though he didn't say it out loud, David felt that Kyle was purposely holding himself back from making to many friends for Ivy's sake.

"I don't know. He us always alone. He is nice but too quiet. I don't think people like quiet." Ivy told him as she bounced up and down the path. "He needs to relax and have fun."

"Have to agree with you there, still I doubt that he'll ever become like you," said David. "I mean, can you imagine Kyle bouncing up and down and running around like that all the time like you, Ivy? B-r-r-r, the thought gives me chills."

Aiden heard the bell and decided to go to calss he arrived pretty quickly finding a place to sit awaiting for others to come to class.

James, because he was already at a high altitude from being in the top of a tree, simply glided to where he saw everyone else going. He then softly landed by the campfire before retracting his dragon wings.

"Chills?" Ivy repeatedly uncertainly. She tried to picture Kyle bouncing around and all the picture did was make her laugh. Her brother her brother would look very silly bouncing the way she did. "Come one David they are about to start. I don't want to miss anything."

"Sure," said David, trailing behind Ivy. Standing directly behind her, he was a bit amused at the difference in size. She barely reached up to his chest and he was at least twice as wide. "So, what are we supposed to do at the special skills session? Something with our powers?"

"Usually something to do with the forest. Like climbing rocks or canoeing or something." Ivy told him. "I hope it isn't canoeing. I don't like water. Kyle would be good at canoeing though. He is a natural in the water."

"Obviously Kyle would be good at it," agreed David, "still, I have to wonder, do you not like water have something to do with your abilities, or do you just not like water because you don't like it?"

It was both normal and strange for people's personalities to fit their abilities - it was something he had seen dozens of times - but David sometimes wondered whether their powers actually affected them, or if it was something more normal. He questioned this intensely especially whenever he encountered a persons abilities who were particularly 'dark', like a young girl he once met who had the ability to forcibly make other living creatures (including plants) feel fear. It was a pretty terrible ability that couldn't be avoided or blocked and left it's victims shaken mad wrecks for weeks or months. Sometimes even years. Even people or things that had no fear were subject to it, as David found out firsthand.

Fera, he thought, Fera was her name. As bad as her ability seemed though, the one that always looked most afraid was Fera herself.

"Today we will be having a animal tracks scavenger hunt." The counselors as they handed out papers. The pares listed: squirrels, chipmunks, skunks, raccoon, deer, and rabbit.

"Obviously Kyle would be good at it," agreed David, "still, I have to wonder, do you not like water have something to do with your abilities, or do you just not like water because you don't like it?"

"Kyle says its because fire and water don't get along." Ivy explained as they reached the campfire. "But I say that we get along just fine. Then he sighs and looks at me like I've missed something."

"Haha, well, since you and your brother get along nicely, maybe you just don't like water, eh?" said David. As the counselors revealed what they were supposed to do, David choked in dismay. "Erk. Dang, I'm no good at that. Can't tell one paw from another, let alone track them. How 'bout you Ivy, you any good?"

Kido smiled happily as he took the paper he was given. Looking for animal tracks would be cool, maybe they would even see the animals themselves along the way! Though, personally, he did admit that he would like to keep his distance from the skunks. They could be cute, he knew, but the outcome of startling one was something he would much rather not deal with at any point if he could avoid it. Besides, he really liked his outfit; the skirt was a very nice color. He looked up at the counselors excitedly: "Should we start now?"

Ivy nodded. "I am good with animals." Which should seem odd to most people. The fact that she was never still should make animals avoid her but Ivy had always been good with animals. They were one of the few things that could make her slow down. "Can you keep up? I know where we can find most of these."

David nodded. "If it's just keeping up, sure. Animals are scared of me even if I'm not doing anything though, so we may have problems."
