I'll work on my post now. I just got back from a gambling trip with relatives. Of course I lost again, but I already know that going in so it's no big deal. It was kind of annoying, though, on the poker machine when it kept giving me 4 of one suit and then ending up not giving me that flush. It's only 1 out of 4 odds even if you're one away like that, but it loved to keep messing with me repeatedly. I did end up with one flush, but it doesn't pay off that good considering all the losses getting to it.

You neglected to even mention the three foes that were walking towards the doorway. Just bypassing them entirely, ignoring them.

If they all decide to attack her that could be a problem, but I don't see why that would happen. She did cautiously look at them before starting her attack run.

Yeah, I could cautiously look at three dudes who pull knives on me in the street. Doesn't mean that they're gonna say: "Oh fuck, that guy's suspicious of us. We'd better not stab him."

And the rest of my allies are chopped liver during all of that?

The problem with this situation is whoever attacks first is assuming the rest of the team is also going to be fighting, which would take away the attention of everyone on my character at once and disperse it amongst the entire group. That is unless they do end up doing nothing, then I'm screwed (and of course would leave the roleplay). But in this case I'll just have her do nothing and wait for everyone to post their attacks, a simple way around this issue.

Oh no, i figured we'd get the waiting-on-each-other problem. Just push through it, you'll be fine. Later enemies won't hold back as much, so that should fix the problem.

But you ran ahead, and you're the fastest in the group. So you would close the gap between them and us faster than we could close the gap between you and us.

I edited my post to fix that problem, so now she'll pause for the others to make their head start to ensure that her speed won't put her too far ahead (and to make sure they do the logical thing and start fighting)
