Yes, I've actually bested all eight gyms. Made it all the way through Victory Road to the Indigo Plateau, now I'm leveling pokemon for the Elite 4.

Oh no, it took me two tries and almost all the money I'd saved up, along with a couple of sacrificial pokemon, but man am I glad Golem has Sturdy.
