[OOC] Phoenix Wing (A Fairy Tail RP-Always Open, Open)

He seemed...I don't know...very chatty, but not in a good way. He seemed more preoccupied talking about himself, and what he was doing, then anything else. Normaly, thats fine, not everyone commucates the same way, but in light of what he just did...well, I'll let you make your own conclusions.

I got a bad vibe from him too. His first IC post, his character brutally murdered a random NCP. Insane characters are one thing, but psychopaths? Ehhh No.

I did look as his CS, kind of a once over. I didn't remark on it, because I was sure that the issues were obvious...now, I'm gonna go back and find it to reread it.

Pretty universal problem. My trouble is that I'm not the most reliable when it comes to posting (or spelling for that matter, another RPer thought I wasn't native English because of it, lol).

The character was clinically insane on a level where, frankly, he wouldn't be able to function even remotely normally. Simply put, he didn't mesh well at all.

I found the CS and looked it over. The idea behind the CS is not bad, but I would have liked a little more explanation on why he was insane, and how he got his shadow powers. I did like the "illogical" insanity, and it would have been funny is he go from raving mad, to standing on a table trying to balance a glass of water on his head.

I have actually considered making a character who often does absolutely random things for no appearent reason.

My dad is actually a horrible person. He isn't planning on living up to the divorce agreement by not paying my mom money even though the agreement states I need to graduate college first. He cheated on my mom, praticatlly abandoned me, my brother, and my mom and has thrown us into many years of hardship and struggles while he is able to afford a lofty life full of trips to places around the world and going out to expensive restaurants.

Jeezus... fucking christ man. I feel sorry for you about that. Thankfully my dad isn't nearly as bad, but lets just say he was a bit... how should I put this... "Loud". He can be annoying, and doesn't get along with my mom too well at times, doesn't have a job, suffers from clinical depression (Appearantly), but at the same time, he still means good.

He doesn't mean good. He doesn't think of the consequences of his actions and how it would hurt those around him. I'm sick of having to deal with him and I really hate the fact that I feel like I have to pretend to like him in order for him to pay for college.

Honestly out of the whole thing, my brother was the most messed up by all of this. I've accepted that my father is a piece of shit, but my brother is still coming to terms with it.

Yeah once college is paid for, get him as FAR away from your family as possible. And if he tries to harass you guys more, bring on the restraining order.

You used a big bright light on a light manipulating wizard, it stands to reason he can just kinda...well divert it to the side to make sure he didn't get blinded. I mean he sidestepped the lance, unless he was close I think that that was legit.
It was more legit as your sidestep when you 'heard' a spell being called out and reacted to that. My James didn't say anything, my only character who said a spell was Cody.
And he kinda mumbled it.
I think the main issue is I have no idea how big this park is, and in relation how close everyone is to each other. I kinda assumed some decent distance between James and James (plus some sort of minor charge of the lance to gain momentum) so a quick sidestep would make the attack sail past him. Maybe it was how I worded it? I should check that.
EDIT: I read my post over again (the previous one) and James actually didn't say a word XD
It also occurs to me that he prepared his own blinding spell I didn't even use XD
