so basically another boss but this time a golem in the capital trying to move edolas people to earthland. I could try saying I attacked but had little to no effect since im lightning and earth is immune to lighting attacks

Ya, Gentsai and his group convinced a few people from Edolas to join them on their departure. If you want a picture on how the titan (golem) looks like, here, it's about 800 meters tall. And your assumption is probably right.
