Ryker managed to stifle his laughter when Deserae hit her head up against the hood of her car. He didn't see it, but he heard the loud thump and judging by the look on her face as she rubbed her head, it didn't take a genius to put it all together. As he took out some paper from the envelope, Ryker read what was on it. Jake stood there a bit awkwardly not knowing what to say to Deserae. He cocked his head, giving her a strange look after she delivered a rather odd joke. Sure, he got it, but it did not elicit any laughter whatsoever. When she gave out another loud sigh as John walked in, Ryker turned. "Shut up and stop sighing!" He yelled at D.J. playfully, but then noticed John.

"Eyyy! Johnny boy. How you doin'?" Ryker got up close to him and playfully jabbed at his ribs like he was a prize fighter. "Looking good, man. That over there is Jake Cotton. But, I'm trying to get everyone to call him Cotton. Sounds real gang like." He laughed a little. And energetic as he always was, Ryker clapped his hands together.

"Cotton is here for a job. And it just so happens I got one tonight. A more specific plan. I'm here on behalf of Fitzy." Fitzy was considered by most one of, if not the top dog of the Lost Ones. A kind-hearted leader, but with a keen eye for business and strategy. He was one of the men who laid down the rules against murder. "And Fitzy says that most of, if not all of you should be together for the cage-fights tonight. I know it's hard to get all of you together, but there is three of you here now. Pretty damn good numbers."

Ryker moved over to a specific spot in the shop. He moved a desk out of the way to reveal a hidden door with a safe-lock on it. Ryker spun the dial a few times, and with a click he pulled open the door on the floor. That revealed a secret cache of emergency money among other things. But, one important item was one of survival and a tool that they strongly believed needed to be used as a last option. Ryker closed the door and turned around, walking up to Jake to hand him the black, 9mm semi-automatic he took out. Jake looked up at him curiously.

"We're going to need your gun handling. Especially if you get into trouble tonight. I'm not asking you to kill." He patted Jake on the back and looked over to John and Deserae. "Cotton here is going to be on protective duty to oversee the job tonight. He's got a real dead eye with that pistol. Soldier boy from the war. But, to the point. We need you guys at the cage fights tonight. Fitzy got this real brilliant idea to have a distraction and then we're going to rob the bookie blind. Do you get me? We're going to steal the goddamn purse!" He seemed so excited about it.

Millie didn't miss the movement Deon made as she sat down on the loveseat. His arm was a little tighter than she cared for, but she didn't comment, she simply made a subtle movement to put some additional space between them. She wasn't interested in becoming another of Deon's numbers and he, as well as most of the other Wolves, knew Millie was more or less off limits - self-proclaimed or otherwise.

She couldn't help but smirk when Victor made the dramatic show of kissing her hand and she playfully shoved his shoulder as he sat down. "OK, Cyborg, a simple hello would have sufficed." Deon's comment made her roll her eyes at Victor. "Not your woman, D," She told him, "Not anybodys woman." If Victor wasn't there, she'd have made it clear that if she was going to be anybodys woman, it wouldn't be his, but with the audience it would hurt Deons pride too much. Deon had way too many notches in his bedpost, too many fingernails down his back. Sure, plenty of the Wolves had been around, everybody had a random, but Deons record was pretty much off the chart. It wasn't just word of mouth with him, either, it was fact. And Deon cared far too much for his reputation to let anything - especially a girl - get in the way of that. Still, he was fun for a bit of conversational banter every now and then.

"I'm not bad, Cyborg." She told Victor, smiling and offering the biscuit packet to him, raising her eyebrows, amusedly, when Deon made a point of reaching into her lap to get one. She placed the packet down on the floor after that. "What about you?

Victors reply was interrupted by Deons comments about the topless cheerleaders. She opened her mouth to snap back, but he obviously knew her too well and cut her off before she had the chance. And you want me to win. She did want him to win, that much was true, but she wasn't going to strip for it in some skeezy fight bar. The men in there got pretty gropy when women was fully clothed, let alone half naked, but it wasn't that she was worried about. Not only could Millie handle herself pretty well, but half of the Wolves went to those clubs and they'd have her back, or any of the other gangmembers backs, in a split second. Especially if a guy was taking it too far. Apparently, that was Deons own special trick and he got uncomfortable when other guys tried to overstep the mark with his woman..

She didn't care about the reactions from the guys at the bar, but she wanted to maintain some of her dignity and a little illusivity with regards to their rivals, The Lost Ones. She didn't want to chance across one of them in a vulnerable, half naked position, as would be her luck. She'd managed to keep her name away from most gossip lines, but that wouldn't last very long if she was flashing people in bars. Her name would spread like wild fire, probably. She'd become known as the Amaranth's cheap little sleeze. No, Deon could make some of his groupies go topless for him.

"I refuse to go topless, it would be far too much of a distraction for you." She teased, "But I will be there. Why not, eh? Anything for the chance to possibly see your ass get beat." She grinned and winked at him before pushing herself up off the chair. She paused as she made her way to the exit and looked back at Victor. "Hey, you should come, it'll be fun. I'll see if Angel wants to come. Make it a group thing." And with that, Milie made her way out of the door, moving towards the stairs and going up a level instead of down. She wanted to see if Angel was back from her rooftop detour.

Angel had wandered for a couple minutes. Not only was it good exercise, but jumping across and walking on the roofs of the city was a pleasant experience for her. There was little threat of danger as well. She could come out there, unarmed, and just think. Although sometimes she found that having too much time to mull things over lead to overthinking, and overthinking lead to stress, which was the exact opposite of what she needed then. So, she resolved to make this little walk a short one. She didn't venture out very far into the city, only about six or seven roofs before turning around.

Her way back was equally as uneventful, but the rain was beginning to let up a little. Angel pulled her hood down and breathed in the fresh, warm air that was laden with humidity. It smelled nice and helped greatly in relaxing her and putting her in a good state of mind, which was good because it aided in her focus and thinking skills.

When she finally made it back to the roof of the Wolves' hideout, the rain had stopped completely, though the moon was invisible as clouds still lingered in the dark sky. She remember that Deon had shouted something to her about a match he was having that night. She was not going to be one of his "shirtless cheerleaders," but it'd be nice to go to a bar and unwind a bit with a drink. As she rushed down the stairs from the top, Angel suddenly encountered Millie, who was on her way up the stairs.

"Millie!"

Angel stopped.

"Where were you going? Were you heading up to the roof? Don't go up there by yourself right now, it's already starting to get late."

She pulled off her wet hoodie as it had served its purpose already.

"Did Deon tell you anything about a fight?" she asked her, as she draped the hoodie over a doorknob. "We could go together if you don't have any plans already. He's a great fighter."

Victor looked over at Millie as she walked off and nodded his head. He thought of an old song, I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you walk away. He watched Millie walk away and enjoyed the fact that her hoodie didn't cover up her lower body.He took a swig of his vodka and felt the buzz start kicking in, he looked back over at Deon.

"So with all the talk of our lady wolves getting half naked and dancing around, I gotta ask. Who's the poor fuck who's going to try and fight you tonight?" Victor said with a wide grin, he looked over towards Millie and saw Angel there, he looked away from her just out of respect, she wasn't like the chicks the wolves kept around she was the leader. And that could be a tad intimidating for anyone who thought to hit on her.

As soon as Millie got up from the chair, Deon’s hand instinctively shot out and slapped her ass from behind with a smug look on his face, knowing that she wouldn’t do much about it since he was just ‘playing around.’ He didn’t look too beat up about her refusal to be one of his topless cheerleaders, but he did bring himself to wave his middle finger in the air as she walked farther and farther away from him, extending the invitation to Victor to watch him fight that evening.

“Yeah, yeah, fuck you too Mill Billy.” He half-grumbled and half-smirked before lowering his middle finger and reaching for his whiskey bottle once more where he downed the contents until the brand new bottle from an hour ago was now half empty.

Deon pushed himself up from his chair once Millie had gone through the door, staggering a bit and walked over to Victor as the kid addressed him, spreading a smile when he called Deon’s competitor a sorry fuck and just shrugged.

“Your guess is as good as mine man, but I’ll tell you what, the ambulance that’s always parked out in the back…they won’t need it tonight, and it’s not because I’m pulling my punches. Naw, they’ll need an entirely different kind of car when I’m done with em, something more…black…”
He snickered and wobbled over to a small safe he kept by his chair. It took him a couple times to put in the correct code, but once he did and the door popped open, he set his half-empty whiskey bottle next to various others half-empty bottles and then shut it again, making sure it locked. It’s not that he didn’t trust the other wolves to keep out of his stash- wait, no…that was exactly why.

Standing back up, he glanced over to where Millie had disappeared to and spotted her once more with Angel by his side. He pursed his lips a bit as the thought of landing them both in bed at the same time crossed his mind, which could be easily read by the look he had on his face. He didn’t care though, he wasn’t exactly trying to hide it anyway.

He took a minute to run his fingers through the top patch of hair he had, still trying to get used to the fact that the sides of his head were shaved, but only Angel and Millie would have known what he looked like with a full head of hair. He gingerly ran the tips of two fingers over the scar he wore on the side of his head, closing his eyes for just a minute before opening them and looking at Angel with an entirely different expression this time. He shook his head quickly and headed towards the exit of the warehouse.

“I’ll see you pussies later.” He addressed to Victor, Angel and Millie. “But if I ain’t getting no topless cheerleaders, there better be a good consolation prize for when I get back and triple our reserved funds.”

He took a split second to give his fellow Wolves a half-assed salute before practically falling out of the door that led outside, immediately getting drenched in the rain as he headed to the underground fighting arena.

Deserae remained quiet all the while Jake and Ryker and John exchanged words, though none of it really caught her interest until Ryker brought up Fitzy. Still, she kept herself underneath the hood of her car, pulling out piece after piece but paid even closer attention to what Ryker had to say, granted it wasn’t just more ‘bro’ talk that seemed to spread like wildfire around here. God she hated ‘bro’ talk.

Cage fights? Did Ryker just say the cage fights? The very same cage fights that she explicitly told the new Asian boy to stay away from? The ones that she had been avoiding going to her three years as a Lost One? THOSE cage fights? Deserae held in a sigh this time, refusing to give Ryker any more ammunition to put her in the spotlight again, but wished she had hit her head on the hood of her car just a little bit harder. She knew there wasn’t going to be any easy way out of this, she wouldn’t outright tell Ryker ‘no’ after all.

After hearing Ryker’s plan, however, Deserae eased up a bit. So they weren’t going to necessarily be involved with the fighters, it was just a basic robbery. That…that she could do. She eyed the pistol that was handed over to Cotton, already being able to put together that he had to have been a pretty good shot in order for Ryker to already put his trust into him, and so if Ryker trusted Cotton, then she had no choice but to trust him too.
When Ryker finished speaking, she pulled herself away from the car, wiping her greasy hands on her white shirt once more until they were somewhat clean.

“Gimme a chance to get cleaned up. I don’t know what kind of distraction you’re using, but I doubt being a female grease monkey would reap any benefits down there.” She said directly to Ryker, all-the-while keeping Cotton in her sights out of the corner of her eye.
“Just one question, am I squeezing myself into a dress or not?”

Most all the females down in the fighting cages were either topless bimbos looking to score with the fighters or dressed up classy women putting down their own money in an effort to double or even triple it. There might have been four or five girls though that went in specifically to watch the fights like most of the males did, but it wasn’t too common. As much as Deserae hated dressed, however, she would much rather wear one to better ‘blend’ into the crowds than stick out as one of those ‘weird girls’ that went in ‘as-is,’ and opening herself up to conversation.

Millie's ass stung slightly as she walked across the room, but she didn't let onto it. She didn't even turn around to look, she simply held up her middle finger behind her back, a slight smirk on her face as she walked towards the door. She had expected to meet Angel on the roof, not running down the stairs in a soaking wet hoodie which she quickly shrugged off and threw over the door. "Hey, no, I was looking for you." Millie told her, slightly enjoying the motherly-tone in Angels voice. It's starting to get late.

Millie would never admit it, but sometimes when Angel was protective of her, even if it was just to keep her out of the rain, she enjoyed it. They were remarkably close in age, more like sisters than anything, but Millie missed having a motherly figure in her life, and it was nice to have Angel there, knowing she had her back. "Yeah, he told me about the fight." She said, turning and walking back down the stairs. Deon bid them farewell just as Millie and Angel re-entered the room, the door shaking it's hinges as it slammed behind him. "Actually, he invited me to be one of his topless bimbo's. I said yes to the invitation, no to the topless." She laughed. "I also invited Victor. I've no idea who he's fighting tonight, but I've not been to many fights so I guess it's not too important." She realised she was rambling and got straight to the point, "But, yeah, I was about to invite you, so going together sounds great."

She caught sight of her appearance in the one mirror they had in the hideout. It was large, but it was cracked and it split her pretty face in two, making her look slightly wrong as the gap in the mirror warped her face, spacing her eyes too far apart and stretching her mouth out. Her hair was still damp from the rain and starting to curl and the hoodie she was wearing had a tear across the pocket, not to mention her jeans had slight wear on the knee's. She needed a change of clothes before they went out tonight, definitely. The only decent item of clothing she was currently wearing were the boots she had 'found' a few weeks ago. They were leather and supple and feminine and she loved them. The perfect fit. Perfect for running and climbing, too.

An hour later found Millie in the club with the others. The fighting hadn't started and she hadn't seen Deon yet, but the atmosphere was heating up which meant it couldn't be long. There were a lot of people here, in various stages of intoxication. Millie started as a woman close to her tumbled off the stool she'd been sitting on and had to avert her eyes when the woman proved that underwear clearly wasn't a necessity in such places as this.

"I'm heading to the bar." She told the Wolves. Millie stepped around the pool of liquid the womans drink had left on the floor and strolled over to the bar, her hands in the back pockets of the white jeans she'd exchanged her blue ones for. These felt much better, and they hugged her figure perfectly. The black, long sleeved cut-of top she wore exposed just the right amount of flesh so she wasn't over-heating but nor did she feell like one of the cheap hookers that hung around outside the bar. They probably got good work on nights like this. These were the kinds of clothes Millie reserved for herself, she kept them, and a few other choice items, locked away for whenever she might need them. She was somewhat of a hoarder, and very possessive of her things.

"Hit me with a beer." She told the old bartender, who looked at her sceptically.

"No way is you old enough to get served in here." He said, waving her off.

Millie raised her eyebrows and smiled, more to herself than anything, running her tongue along her teeth as she did so. Her red painted lips pursed and she leaned in slightly. "We can do this two ways. You can serve me without a problem, or I can give you a problem and report that little bag of white stuff you just gave to that prostitute outside. Then I think you'd have a big problem, don't you?" The bartender opened his mouth to argue but Millie frowned and he closed his mouth, his eyes wide as he looked over the girl, clearly having misjudged her initially. Millie wasn't about to let that happen. "There is another way we can do this, of course."

She leaned her elbows on the bar, clenching her hands togehter, something silvery glinting as she did so. The bartenders eyes widened as he looked at the bracelet on her wrist, from which hung a tiny little handprint shaped charm. Seemingly insignificant, but extremely effective. He rushed around quickly and, in seconds, Millie was sipping her drink, smugly looking out across the bar as she waited for the fight to begin.

Angel too managed to change out of her slightly damp clothes to get into something more... fit for the occasion. Before they left, she pulled on a white, sleeveless crop top, which was quite comfortable in the humid heat after the rainstorm. Under that, she wore shorts she had cut from long jeans, which had faded to the point of being nearly white. She checked herself in the cracker mirror and knew she was ready to go.

It had certainly been a long time since Angel had been at a pit like this. Most of these underground fighting areas and bars were pretty successful at raking in some cash since humans always loved to see people beat other people into a pulp. It was a sad reality, but Angel couldn't help but feel a little excited about it all, especially since Deon was fighting. She'd actually have someone to root for. The loud music, the cages, the smell of alcohol—it brought a smile to her face. It seemed like just yesterday she had gone to The Spit, another fight bar, on a special mission to recruit the very asshole that had asked her to be his shirtless cheerleader that night...

But memories were memories... She waved goodbye to Millie as she walked off to the bar.

The nostalgic smile immediately dropped from her face when a man, obviously inebriated, suddenly stumbled by her, knocking into her right side clumsily. Angel staggered to the side and turned to face the stranger with a frown.

"Hey, w-watch where you're going—" He hiccuped. "You stupid bitch!"

Angel didn't even gratify him with a response. She rushed up close to him quickly, taking him by surprise, and gave him a swift but very firm punch to the temple, mainly using her hips to give her punch momentum. The man's bottle shattered as he stumbled sideways and fell to his knees. He looked like he was about to black out, but he remained conscious, too drunk to even know what happened.

"Hey lady, the fights have even started yet!" someone yelled at her.

Angel held up her hands innocently, shrugging her shoulders.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" she said innocently. "I didn't know I punched that hard!" She raised her fingers to her mouth and giggled like a little school girl before sauntering over to an empty table and sitting down. She glanced over to the cages and wondered where Deon was, and when the fights would start. God, she hoped he wouldn't come out of nowhere carrying shirts that said "TEAM DEON" on them. No, he wouldn't do that. He wouldn't want her wearing a shirt at all.

She chuckled to herself. Tonight could prove to be very interesting...

Behind the fight arena building, two teenagers were crouched next to a dumpster in the middle of the alleyway. One was older, about eighteen, tall, and African American. He had a powerful build, short, clipped hair, and warm brown eyes. The other boy was a few years younger, smaller, white, and was wearing a black hat and a white undershirt. They were talking excitedly to each other but they seemed to be occupied with something at the moment... A spark, a pause, a long inhalation, another pause, anticipation, then a deep, exhaling gasp. Thick smoke curled upward from the younger boy´s slightly opened mouth before his lips curved into a smile and a soft chuckle escaped past them.

"This shit is louuuuuuud, Tyson," he said, still laughing. He extended his hand toward him and Tyson snatched the joint from his fingers.

"Yeah, I know," Tyson replied, taking a hit for himself. "I got this from my boy José in Cailet. He's got connections straight to California and Mexico."

"I wish I could go to Cali..." the boy said, his gaze distant. "I've never seen palm trees before."

Tyson laughed and handed him back the joint.

"You wanna go just for the palm trees?"

"Well yeah, and the beaches and stuff too. Just seems like a cool place to go, y'know?" The boy took a long drag and passed it back to Tyson.

"I gotcha, I gotcha... How's the gang life goin' for ya?"

He laughed. "It's going great I guess. They're not hardcore or anything. They're actually really chill and we all take care of each other. I could probably get you a spot if you ever wanted to join."

"You tell me that every time we hang out," Tyson laughed. "But I can't, I'm neutral. I can't restrict my business to one side or the other, you see."

The boy nodded, understanding somewhat. Tyson wasn't under the same circumstances as he. Tyson actually lived in the Haven, but also made side cash with his "business," mostly because he hated being isolated. The two were a lot alike in that respect.

Just a few minutes later, an alarm beeped from Tyson's watch and he sighed.

"Speaking of business," he said, standing up, "I've gotta meet with another one of my clients right now. Nice talkin' with you as usual, Knox."

Knox grinned and stood up. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ten-dollar bill and held it out for Tyson to take. But he shook his head and kept his hands in his pockets.

"This one's on me bro," Tyson said, but Knox didn't waver.

"If you're so concerned about your business, you can't just go around smoking up people for free," he explained.

Tyson thought about that for a moment, but just chuckled.

"Nah, it's no big deal, Knox. Use that money to buy yourself a ticket to California."

Knox gazed down at the bill in his hand and frowned.

"Uhh, I think it costs more than ten—"

"Then start saving up," Tyson interrupted, knowing full well ten dollars was not enough. He reached down and shouldered a red gym bag and started down the alleyway. "Why don't you head inside," he shouted back at him. "There's supposed to be some good fights going on tonight."

Knox glanced at the back door and looked back to Tyson. "Aight, thanks again, Tyson," he called back. Tyson replied by holding up his hand, which was his way of saying "don't worry about it." Knox waited there for a moment and then tried the backdoor to the cage fights. Thankfully, it was unlocked. He snuck inside quietly. The loud music didn't require his being quiet, so he just slammed the door behind him. But when he turned around, he came face-to-face with an angry-looking bartender.

"What are you doing back here, kid?" he grumbled, looking down at him.

Knox was taken so off guard that he couldn't formulate a response right away. Instead he just reached into his pocket and produced the ten-dollar bill from earlier and held it up in the bartender's face.

"Consider this a fee for using the... VIP entrance," Knox said.

The bartender glared at him for a moment, then snatched the bill and lumbered away muttering something about stupid kids. Phew, it was a good thing Tyson was feeling generous today. That guy would've literally beat his skull in. Knox slipped outside the bar area and took a look around the area. There were a lot of young adults, but some people looked to be only a few years older than him. That didn't surprise him, of course, as he didn't expect this place to be a popular spot for senior couples and families. He wondered if any Lost Ones would show up... He definitely needed a place to stay that night.

It looked like the fights hadn't started yet either. Half-excited, half-nervous, Knox took a seat a rickety table by himself, looking rather lost.

Victor had left his leather jacket at the hangout and his black shirt was on barely covering his arms, he was proud of his left arm as it looked rather muscular even compared to his robotic arm which was made to look muscular. He smiled when he saw Millie give a bit of a threat to the bartender, then he about took a swing at some drunken buffoon crashed into Angel, but she beat him to it, that was why she was the leader, the guy went down pretty easily. He laughed a bit and followed Angel to a table and sat across from her sipping his Early Riser, a drink consisting of Vodka, Redbull and coke. He loved these, they had both alcohol and his two favorite non alcoholic beverages which combined for a beautiful flavor. He was watching the door, he figured that someone would walk in that he would know. He saw his a member of the Lost Ones, a kid, he didnt know his name but he knew he was one of them. He tensed up and sat up straight watching the kid intensely as he sat at an empty table, Victor switched his drink to his left hand to ensure he didnt shatter the cup by accident. He reached across the table and tapped it with his metal fingers just in front of Angel, he made sure he got her attention then spoke.

"Lost Ones are showing up," He said seriously, "Maybe the guy Deon's about to pound to the dirt is one of em, they dont typically show up here. I wont make a move unless you okay it, but if you okay know those fucks are gonna shed blood."

He took a larger drink of his Early Riser the ice pressing against his lips, he still had his pistol tucked under his shirt, his knife in his pocket, and his mind set on kicking ass.

Angel smiled to Victor as he sat next to her at the table. She looked around and wondered if any other Wolves would be showing up tonight. She hoped so; it would only make the night more enjoyable for her. She was about to stand up to get a drink to quench her thirst and her neves when she heard Victor's metal fingers tap on the wooden table in front of her. She stopped and looked over at him curiously, wondering what was wrong.

"Lost Ones are showing up." His tone was low and serious. "Maybe the guy Deon's about to pound to the dirt is one of em, they dont typically show up here. I wont make a move unless you okay it, but if you okay know those fucks are gonna shed blood."

Angel stared at him curiously and wondered which of the Lost Ones would be showing up. Was it Fitzy or just some underlings? She followed his gaze and saw he had been staring intently at a younger boy who was sitting by himself. She didn't recognize him, but she trusted Victor's judgement that he was one of them. She turned back to him with a sigh and shook her head.

"Not now," she told him, placing her hand lightly on his shoulder. "We can't go making a scene just yet. Or the cops will bust in and we'll all be screwed. Don't start anything unless you're provoked. But even then, don't make it an obvious gang thing." Her eyes flashed back to the boy, then back to Victor. "Besides, that kid doesn't look like he'd be much of a threat right now, anyway." Angel turned back to the cages, keeping her head somewhat low. How many people would recognize her here?

Minato looked around the fighting club, looking at the girl besides him at the railing, a fair distance away. She looked nicer than usual, dressed like she was.. richer. She didn't look too rich, so she wasn't one of those rich girls trying to defy and rebel against her parents, only to end up drugged and naked in some alleyway. Minato witnessed something like that once, it was terrible. Girl didn't even know she was naked. Walked around like nobodies bussiness. Minato thought about going to talk to her but noticed someone new was in the bar area, which was quiet as usual. Only a handful was around. The bartender was talking to a new girl. There sure were a lot of girls here suddenly.. Minato looked around the hall quickly to see if there was maybe a divided area for men and women at the bars, but there wasn't. Suddenly the bartender's eye's widened up, and he moved very quickly to get her the stuff she wanted. It was so obvious it almost hurt. “That's a confirmed wolf right there,” he mumbled to himself. Once more he heard some sounds that were not too uncommon here in this fighting hall, but they sounded closer. Just as he looked over, a girl jabbed a guy in the face. She did some slutty hand movements, like putting them at her face and doing the schoolgirl move. Classic. Then she sat down somewhere, a gorilla with a metal arm following her and sitting down as well. He squinted his eyes and remembered a joke Nagami once told him. Something about ''Asians'' and ''squinting not being required.'' Nevermind the racist undertone there, Nagami. He softly laughed as he tried to listen in on the gorilla and the slut. Someone with a metal arm was definetely gonna stand out like a rose in a field of weeds. Well, judging from his appearance, it was more like a weed amongst roses.

"Lost Ones .. showing up," Yeah, yeah. We are definetely showing up. Get to the juicy stuff mister Gorilla, Minato thought to himself. ".. the guy Deon's .. the dirt is one of em .. don't ... here. I won't make a move .. shed blood." Shame that Minato didn't hear much more, but it was pretty obvious to Minato that these guys were involved somehow in this guys fight. Wait.. Deon? He was fighting a Lost One? Minato didn't know that, that would definetely be interesting to watch. After all, if you are Lost you don't really have anything to lose. Therefore, going up against a supposedly undefeated cage fighter was not something to be scared off. If you have nothing to lose, you can only win.

Minato followed the eyes of mister Gorilla man to a boy that was sitting somewhat alone up here at the bar, a table all by himself. It was just a kid, though, why would they think he's a Lost One? Well, he was probably right, the Lost Ones weren't discriminate about who they accepted into their family.. crew.. tribe? Whatever they'd call themselves, Minato would roll with it. He stepped off of the railing, eyed the girl on the other side once more and checked her clothes again before walking to the boy sitting by himself. Minato grabbed the half broken chair and pulled it back, setting himself down on it.

“Hey there. Are you lost or something?” Seemed like a strange question, but it was Minato's way to try and decipher if he was actually lost, or part of the Lost Ones. The proper response to this would probably be something among the lines of ''aren't we all Lost'' or some other philosophical bull like ''Lost but not Alone.'' When he asked this he tilted his head a bit and smiled at the boy, giving him a somewhat friendly appearance. Either that or the kid would be weirded out by Minato. Despite the answer Minato'd get, he would continue talking to the boy. “The fighter, Deon I think he is called. What can you tell me about him? I heard he's good, I should maybe bet on him.” That would maybe be a good idea, but he had no money. And if he did, he'd be making money off of the back of a rival. That would be something Minato could brag about to D.J. “Oh, by the way, I think those two..” he said and turned around, pointing at Gorilla and Slutty Girl quite obviously and out in the open, “.. might be watching you. And probably me now. Don't know why you are here, don't really care, just be careful, cause I think that people like that don't care for your age, your money or anything else. Just a friendly heads up, okay?” He'd smile at the boy again, tilt his head a bit and then proceed to walk away down the stairs towards the actual stage area unless the boy would stop him, or possibly walk with him.

Knox zoned out listening to the loud music for a couple minutes. His eyes had drifted over toward the bar area where people were sitting. Some of them didn't like much older than he, so he wondered if he'd be able to cop some drinks for himself too. He was considering the thought in his head when he heard the wooden chair moving across from him. He turned his head to see an Asian boy take a seat and give him what seemed like an exaggerated smile and tilt of his head.

“Hey there. Are you lost or something?” he asked, still smiling.

Knox rubbed his eyes quickly and blinked. The boy looked strangely familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on where he had seen him before... Maybe it was his smile, which gave made him feel a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, nothing about the boy came to mind... Not that it mattered anyway.

"Not really," Knox replied, with a shrug of his shoulders. "Although it'd be nice to find a place to crash tonight." He laughed and didn't expect Minato to put up an offer for him.

“The fighter, Deon I think he is called. What can you tell me about him? I heard he's good, I should maybe bet on him," the boy continued.

Knox glanced at the cages, but there still wasn't anyone fighting yet. He looked back to the stranger and shook his head.

"I've never heard of a Deon before," he replied nonchalantly. "And there's no way I'm wasting what little money I have left on a fight. I would've got my ass kicked by the bartender over there if I hadn't had any cash on me."

“Oh, by the way..." The boy's change in tone made Knox raise an eyebrow. I think those two...” He gestured toward a boy and a girl sitting not too far away from them. “...might be watching you. And probably me now. Don't know why you are here, don't really care, just be careful, cause I think that people like that don't care for your age, your money or anything else. Just a friendly heads up, okay?”

Knox glanced at the duo again. The girl was blonde and looked super hot, and her male companion looked scary. Was that... a robotic arm? Yeah, no, Knox did not want to screw with him and his girlfriend.

"Why the hell are they watching me?" Knox asked aloud. There wasn't a reply, and when he turned back, he saw the boy was gone. "Huh...?" Then Knox spotted him—he was heading up toward the stage area.

"Hey!" Knox called out, getting up to run after him. When he caught up he stepped in front of the enigmatic boy and frowned.

"Damn dude, talk about a cliffhanger. Why'd you just get up and leave like that?" he asked. "And follow up: why are those two keeping an eye on me?"

Minato looked at the boy quietly whenever he spoke, nodding a bit here and there. In reality he was still pondering why the boy wasn't Lost. After all that the boy even chased after him. Listening to the boys quesiton his eyes wandered over to the table with the slut and gorilla. He checked if their eyes had followed them.. then suddenly Minato extended his arm around the boy quickly and roughly pulled him with him, not giving the boy any chance to get away. He pulled him closer to the cage, into the crowd, and slipped through it with the boy, heading towards the other end of the hall. Granted that the kid wouldn't try to get away from him, or would fail to do so, he would answer him. “I left because you're not Lost like us. I wish you were, though, but I have no interest on starting a war between Lost people like me, my family, and that band of rag-tag bandits that calls themselves the Amarynth.. something. Abadyn Skulls? It's a pretty cliché name for a gang, but then again what did you expect from Americans!” Minato joked at the boy. “Oh, right, they're the Wolves or something. Vicious bunch. Why they are watching you, I have no idea, since you're apparently not a Lost One.”

Minato leaned back on a concrete pillar and looked at the bar area, still trying to see if the two people had followed them with their eyes. “Listen, I don't know them that well, I don't know if they're ACTUALLY with that group, but if they are then it's not a good sign if they're looking at you, right. So.. I'm thinking that we wait it out, see what happens. If they come here, give you a hard time, well then I guess I should maybe help you. I don't know, that guy looks huge though. I guess I can throw water over his arm and fry him..” Minato chuckled about the small joke he made and looked around, checking the area out. “Hey, do you maybe have some experience acquiring stuff from people's.. uhhhh.. well, do you know how to pickpocket? I can make us some money while we're here, if you do. I have a good plan, just need someone with the expertise to do it, is all.” Minato seemed to be talking about one thing, skipping a thought or 5 and then talking about the next thing that came to his mind.

“Oh, yes, and they think you're a Lost One like me. Can be dangerous, but I'm not that known.” He smiled and tilted his head again. “Guess that this is one time that is a good thing, right?!” His eyes went over Knox' face, then to the cage. Deon still wasn't on, so Minato'd be stuck here for a bit longer. He half hoped he'd provoke the Wolves into some action, and half hoped he'd leave them alone enough to walk away alive from this place.

Jillian walked along the curb of the sidewalk as though it were a balancing beam, whistling the tune of "Singing in the Rain", a song she had heard in a nigh ancient film about a young ruffian much like herself as she went. She twirled a parasol of her own design and creation over her shoulder, always wanting to travel with functional fashion. As she neared the fight club, Jillian stopped andviewed her reflection in a window,u adjusting her outfit, making sure her corset was laced properly, her skirt was frilled beautifully, and her hat was askew in just the right way. She had to admit, she knew how to dress. Her outfit of this day was of a deep and rich green in color, with a burgundy trim that complimented the outfit stunningly. Happy with the way she looked, Jillian continued toward the club, skipping daintily.

The doors burst open as Jillian made her entrance, attempting to be flashy as usual. As she stepped in she closed her parasol, walking to the bar and snatching up someone's drink, not caring what the drink was or who it previously belonged to. She took a swig as she walked, immediately spittingit out in disgustas she turned and shouted.

"What the fuck is this?! My granny's piss tastes better than this shit!"

She slammed the glass back down onto the bar, finished with her outburst, and swiveled on her heel, spotting Angel and walking towards her.

"What's cookin', good lookin'?"

She asked this as she placed her palms on the tabletop, her parasol now strapped to her back.

"Anything fun goin' down tonight?"

Victor kept his eyes on the Asian dude, he didnt like being looked at. He averted his stare and found a new target worth watching, Jillian, he knew her as one of the more murderous of the Wolves. She wasnt exactly quite about it, she wore excentric clothing and took photos in it on the scenes of the crimes. She was nuts, not unlike Victor, but she had a more flaunted insanity about her. Victor still respected her as one of the gang members, so naturally he greeted her like a friend.

"Sup Jillian," Victor said calmly as he stood up and went to the bar, he pointed into his glass with his robotic arm and looked at the bartender, "Early Riser, extra Vodka."

He leaned against the bar next to Millie and made a small motion to point out the Lost kid and the Asian guy, just enough that Millie could see but the pair couldnt. He leaned in closer to her and spoke in her ear just enough so she could hear.

"Lost Ones, they are showing up," Victor said grabbing his drink and taking a small sip, "Angel doesnt want us making a move but if push comes to shove I dont want to get caught with this on me."

He turned his back to the bar and pulled his pistol from his belt line then slipped it into the back of her belt line. He looked into her eyes briefly just to make sure she understood, he wasnt about to go back to prison for owning a gun. Last time it meant something, but a fucking unregistered weapon would just be stupid. He brought his drink to his lips and tilted it back, he stood next to her waiting for something to happen.

Logan slowly sipped on her beer, trying her best to savor the cheap taste and the burn running down her throat. She was still getting use to beer tolerance thing. She only started drinking a few months ago, and she didn't even do it that often. Her head was fuzzy and warm from the drink. Her vision swam around the edges. She looked over her shoulder, a bit surprised from the amount of people pouring in. She smirked to herself. She turned on her bar stool and looked around. More people meant the fight was going to start soon. Logan was going to be richer tonight.

She scanned the crowd, trying to find a familiar face from the Wolves. Logan really didn't know any of them personally. She only ever talked to them if she had a job. She barely even went to their friggin base. She could see the Cyborg and Queen Boss at a table, staring down the Asian guy and some other kid. Deon must be around here somewhere then. Logan saw Millie making a guy shit his pants so she could get a cheap beer. Logan couldn't talk shit about it though. She had done it too.

Logan downed the last of her beer and left some money on the counter just as Jill walked in. She saw the dress and laughed a bit to herself. Someone was going to die tonight by her hands. Logan didn't know much about Jill. She'd heard she use to be a rich kid like herself, but she didn't want to believe it. Jillian gave up all the money and clean water and good alcohol just for the thrill of killing? Seemed like complete bullshit to her.

She walked over towards Millie and sat down with a seat between them.

"Any jobs tonight or can I continue betting on Deon and drinking shitty beer and whiskey?" Logan asked blantly, not even attempting to sugar coat it for the people around them.

Angel smiled when she saw Jillian, one who could possibly tango with Deon, enter the bar and make her way toward them. That meant other Wolves would be arriving too, so she felt less worries about the possible Lost One's threat Victor had brought up earlier. The two they were keeping an eye on were probably lost, literally, or just came for a good time, and Angel couldn't blame them for that. They'd just need to be extra careful not to do something extremely stupid.

Jillian had sat down at the table and greeted Angel jovially: "What's cookin', good lookin'? "Anything fun goin' down tonight?""

Angel chuckled and shrugged. "Hi Jillian," she answered with a smile. "We're just waiting for Deon to come on and kick some ass. Feel free to make some bets on him if you're feeling lucky. I personally don't know how much faith I can put into a drunk cage fighter, but he claims it helps him win."

A man who Angel assumed was taking orders walked by and she reached out her hand toward him.

"Excuse me!" she called out.

He stopped and turned to face her.

"Bring me a bottle of vodka and some shot glasses," she told him.

She didn't even need to use gang intimidation. The man already seemed scared enough of the people sitting at the table alone, so he rushed to the back and returned a minute later with a bottle and three shot glasses, all of which he placed on the table quickly before hurrying away. Angel grabbed the bottle and frowned.

"Gross, room temperature vodka," she said. "Oh well." She sighed. "I guess it's better than nothing."

OF course, Angel had no intention of getting stupidly drunk, but buzzed enough to be happy and sociable while still retaining some of her wits about her. She poured the potent drink into one of she shot glasses and placed the bottle back on the table. She began to sip on it, taking her time and enjoying it's sting, which she assumed was because it wasn't being served cold. At any rate, she finished her first shot within a few minutes, but she held off on her second one, just so she could control how quickly the alcohol took effect. She glanced over again at the two supposed Lost Ones conversing, and she wondered if she should go over and just... talk to them.

Knox was confused when Minato suddenly reached out and grabbed him, pulling him closer to the cage and through the crowd, where they eventually ended up and the other side of the bar. Knox didn’t struggle to get away, as he was much too high to care, but he was still curious about the boy’s odd mannerisms. Before he could ask any more questions, he answered him and explained he had left because he wasn’t “Lost” like them. What? Then he started going on about how he didn’t want to go start a war between them and another gang, which he finally revealed to be the Wolves.

Oh, shit. The Wolves? They were here? He said he didn’t know why they were watching Knox because he apparently wasn’t a Lost One.

“What? No, I am a Lost One,” Knox said. “But how do they know that? We’re not even causing any trouble!”

Knox then had a hard time following what he went on about next. He talked about possibly getting into trouble with the gangsters, then he asked if Knox knew how to pickpocket, then back to Wolves again.

“I am a Lost One,” Knox repeated. “But I’m not, like, their most active or dangerous member or anything.”

That must be why the boy looked familiar to Knox. Maybe he had seen him around somewhere before at one of the hideouts.

Either way, being around all these enemies made Knox uneasy. Surely Tyson hadn’t know that a bunch of Wolves were going to be here. That sucked. And that one blunt wasn’t nearly enough to get Knox to relax completely. In fact, it made him a bit more paranoid. God, if only he had a little more… Even a drink would do.

“Don’t you just think we should just go?” Knox asked the boy, looking around nervously. “I’m not trying to get into any shit tonight.”

He wasn’t liking this at all.

The beer Millie sipped was warm and flat, and she turned away from it with an unpleasant expression on her face. The barman glanced at her but stated at the other end of the bar. She smirked to herself; little did he know, she was without a doubt one of the most approachable members of the gang. She wondered if he knew how many Wolves he was surrounded by tonight. Logan was sitting across the bar and the doors at the other end of the bar slammed open as Jill made her usual, flashy entrance. Millie, a bit less of an exhibitionist, didn’t understand the extravagant outfits that Jill wore, but each to their own, and she raised her hand slightly across the bar to greet her.

As Jill sat at the table, Millie saw Victor greet her and turned to grab her beer, noting the shadow that fell over her as she did. Looking up, she saw that Victor had come over to her. She was about to greet him before he leaned in, his lips close to her ear as he spoke. "Lost Ones, they are showing up." Millie turned and looked at the pair Victor was talking about. He informed her of Angel’s plan and she nodded, showing both her approval and co-operation. She caught Angel’s eye across the bar, nodding slightly to show that she knew what the plan was and turned to face Victor. She felt the cool metal of the gun graze her skin as Victor slipped it into the waistline of her jeans. She took a step forward, under the pretence that he was pulling her closer, to make his movement seem more subtle and natural. “I’ll keep it safe.” She whispered into his ear, before stepping back again, putting that little bit of distance between them and picking up her beer. As she spoke, someone joined them at the bar and sat down near them. Millie glanced around Victor to see that it was Logan, the newest addition to the Wolves.

“I do believe tonight we’re on hiatus.” She told her, “Angel doesn’t want any trouble tonight.” The meaning behind her words was dripping with severity but she said it in a way that made it seem like a light-hearted, passing comment. “God, how long ‘till this fight gets going.” She leaned her elbows back on the bar, stretching out one seemingly-endless leg and bending the other at the knee, wondering when Deon was going to make an appearance, and whoever he was opposing.
