Years after the Soul Eater story line ended a new generation of Miesters and Weapons have been at the DWMA for a year and things have been quiet but now that's about to change. The witches are tired of being hunted and killed for their souls and a uprising is in the works. A small group of Miesters and Weapons must team up and end the rebellion or risk the lives of everyone in Death City and the DWMA. Can they end the uprising or will they die trying?

Hello everyone! It is I booksmusicanime, or books! Welcome to Soul Eater Next Gen 2.0, I've been on vacation for three weeks and now I believe I have a great base for this roleplay. This is 2.0 because the last one is still running but with a newly inspired creativity levels I decided to make a 2.0! Well now it's time for the thing I hate but we must have for the sake of the roleplay. The Rules.

1. NO GODMODDING! I say this in every RP I have created and I still find godmoders on my RPS.
2. Don't be overpowered. I want everyone to be fair and equal
3. DO NOT control a character that isn't yours. I hate when people do this and if I catch you doing this even once I will not be nice.
4. Please once you have finished your CS post it in the CS Bin. It saves people the hassle of trying to find your character.
5. NO MAIN CHARACTERS PLEASE! Children of main characters are accepted though.
6. Warn me when you will be gone so I can catch you up. I hate when people disappear without telling me. I've lost almost half a roleplay due to that.
7. Be nice. Even I do it sometimes but if you decide to become a class A jerk just leave or once you realize what you've done apologize to the person you were a jerk to. I want everyone to feel welcome.
8. This will be a first come first serve. There is a limited number of spots open.
9. I will assign partners. This is due to having people who won't choose a person to be their partner. If your character prefers a certain type of weapon then tell me and I'll try to pair you up with that weapon type.
10. NO UNUSUAL WEAPONS! I mean like if your character in weapon form is a guitar. NO. I'm not trying to deal with that. Also NO FLAMETHROWER WEAPONS. Just no.
11. YOU CANNOT BE A NEW STUDENT!!! I'm sorry if that was your plan but it gives me a headache trying to deal with that. You cannot also be meeting your partner for the first time.
12. Please don't be a ranged weapon. It causes me a headache and its just a hassle to figure out how it would be used. Only ranged weapon accepted is a gun because it can be a melee weapon and a ranged weapon.
13. And most importantly have fun! I don't like it when people are downers so if you're down just trust me you'll be cheered up and having fun again in no time.

Personality:
Sano is the sort of unenthusiastic kid who likes to sleep most of the day. He prefers not to get involved in troublesome activities, pretending to be busy to avoid responsibility. He also does not like fighting, deeming it, as he does to most things, "too much work". He is fully aware of this side of his personality. However, when duty calls, Sano has a strong moral compass and sense of commitment towards his comrades. Even though, by his own testimony, he lacks bravery, he will sacrifice himself and face almost certain death, for the sake of his friends. Because of his raw leadership skill - which also comes from his age - he is one of the most respected students at DWMA. The weight of the decisions he must make as a student have caused him to mature rapidly. Sano's most distinctive character trait is that he considers most women bossy and "too much trouble." He usually defines them as aggressive, demanding, and sometimes even scary. Nevertheless, Sano is generally courteous to women, doing them favors and avoiding fights with them. He feels that men, like him, should be the ones protecting them and not the other way around.
Backstory:
Sano wasn't always the way he is now, it all happened after the death of his mother - Yoshino Takezaki. Unfortunately, like many other people, Yoshino passed away during the attack on Death City many years ago. At the time, Sano was still a child and did not understand what was going on. Since his parents were separated - one thing he did understand - he stayed with his father during the outbreak. Anyhow, after finding out his mother passed away, he started to become who he is today. Him and his father don't speak all that much because they are on different terms. He blames his father for not being their for his mother, for not protecting her. So he joined the DWMA in attempt to get away from his father and focus on his abilities as a Demon weapon. Unlike his parents - who supposedly turn into long-swords - Sano transforms into a manriki, which accords to his personality.

In his leisure time, Sano - aside from sleeping - enjoys to play chess with older folks.

Question, are weapons that while not normal, are still effective allowed? I was thinking something along the lines of a spiked bat. Maybe barbed wire covered bat, where the soul resonance ability is to constrict the foe in barbed wire....
