Steve Rogers woke up on his couch, to the title screen of a Star Wars movie... After working out the day before, he ordered some pizza, and put in the next episode of Star Wars. It amazed him how great the effects were, but most people would laugh at him saying so now. He wondered what Sharon was doing as he was watching it, but decided not to make himself look desperate... girls didn't like that, right? It didn't take long for him to pass out though, what with him flying to the Alps, fighting off soldiers, and diving down the mountain side...
Now that he was awake, he looked at the clock and saw that it was 5 in the morning. Steve dressed in a sweatshirt and pants, quietly made his way out of his apartment to not wake anyone, and silently exited the apartment. It didn't take him long to run around all of Manhattan Island. As the day went on though, he saw that it was going to be cold... Would Sharon be okay with spending time with him with this weather? He jogged back to his apartment, it now being 7. Once in his apartment he took a shower, making sure to wash out all the sweat, and debris from yesterday's Alps adventure.
He spent a while pacing back and forth at his wardrobe, thinking on what to wear.... After many attempts to find something, he settled on one outfit . He did his hair in a neat and tidy fashion (but not greased down and fit perfectly, it natural, of course), brushed his teeth (white and shiny!), and put on a bit of cologne. Was this too much? He didn't know what this was, but he really didn't want to make a bad impression. But then again, he's Captain America! the living legend! Don't get too full of yourself, Rogers. You're still the guy from Brooklyn.
What felt like an eternity passed, and it was finally 1:57. Would he look weird if he showed up then? Should he wait at exactly 2? No, that would be weirder... He grabbed his keys, his motorcycle ones too. he thought it would be easier than walking across the island, and of course his S.H.I.E.L.D. card that let him buy basically anything... he hesitated grabbing his shield... he shouldn't need it, right? They were just going to lady liberty. And he didn't want to look like he was trying to show off... He made the long way across the hall, and knocked a couple times before stepping back, his hands folded in a military manner. The door opened, and he was yet again amazed at how she looked. Everything from her hair in the pony tail to the shoes she wore made Steve feel nervous yet happy at the same time. He snapped out of his trance. "Hm? Oh! yeah, the trolls were no problem. I keep calling the pest control guys about it. Always think I'm joking." Steve smiled.
"Are you ready to go? Or do you need something heavy to be carried first?" Steve said jokingly although he wouldn't mind at all if he did have to lift anything. Steve would be willing to lift the Empire State building if she asked.
