I'm playing FF right now. Only played the intro part of FF1, beaten FF13, and playing FF13-2 ATM.

im not terrible fond of the very 1st one.Its fun to pick up and play but ff2 was where they started using actual characters. As for 13 I can't stand Lightning's character but ive only played for a good few chapters because i only borrowed it. 7-10 are the best so far in my opinion and 14 is a great online game. 9 is my absolute favorite. To me, it has the best characters, world, and story.

I think I like the FF13 series mainly because of the shear graphics and world design. Heh, I might just be too much of a softy to hate it. But good to know about the first one, that woudl explain my troubles in wanting to play it xD

The first Final Fantasy was originally going to be the company's last game because they were going out of business. However it did so well that they were able to continue on. The Final fantasy 13 series, however, has nearly bankrupted the company every time they released each installment, only to be saved mainly by the Kingdom Hearts series.

yep 15 is going to have points where you have a car to get around faster. I don't mind it because there were always vehicles in plenty of rpg games in the world maps. I've been looking forward to 15. it looks like it will be good.

I was asking her if that's what she didn't like... the car in FF15. I love that car. Apparently people it because it's a modern car. I like the idea, it gives the world a new direction to go in, and gives you a fun way to move around the world. I just hope there will be combat in the car! Can you imagine being stupid, and driving around a monster and getting your tires slashed because of your stupidity? Or, another scenario where you're lucky enough to use your weapons and magic to hold them at bay? Or a case scene? Amazing!

yep, I wanna see how they do it. I've watched a short vid of them free roaming in the car and seeing a huge monster on the side of the road and booking it outa there

Ahh, yep. That's what I've seen too. They've removed the car in the demos though, to prevent confusion of the fan's thinking it's a 'car game'. lol

@Jollan Ah lol, well Final Fantasy is pretty awesome from what I've heard! :D

it is, or at least they used to be a lot better. 9 is my favorite, so id say start there. you can buy it on psn or uh... run it on an emulator if you really wanted too

al of them are still fairly good games. 12 is good but i feel that they take Van's story and kick it to the curb. i haven't played 3-6, and I only know a good bit about 8 because my sister played through it. 11 and 14 are online games. 11 was really good but now its kinda broken so people can power level too easy. Mostly due to changes made so that people just joining can catch up. 14 is pretty awesome, if your up for paying monthly for it anyway. i just manually pay for every month because there are times i cant get on a lot.

FF6 on the GBA is pretty fun until you screw up and sell a dude's weapon when you didn't realize it and then get to a huge battle then realize one of your healers is two levels lower than anyone and the guy without a weapon is now a major wimp. I had to start a new game cause of how bad I messed up.
