Okay, looks fine to me. I think? Just to double clarify with everyone...

GM Stuff:

Krauxis' female character is coming into the new group at the start of the RP, as is Red Fox's but Side Character G's and Hexaflexagon will already have been in the Tokyo gang since signing up. Mine will probably have one from overseas and one locally who will act as "casual" badass leader. Do I have that all right guys? Or has one of the 'non native' folk been around "locally" in Tokyo longer?

I've added you to the list on the first page, just make sure to note that he started when he was 17 (since that's when they're usually recited) and then made the move to Tokyo/the new Uni at whatever age you please. I assume he'd been a Corrector at his local Gvn office until then, is that right?

Nope, you're right. I'll have come in on a 'business trip' as of just recently, so I'll only have been around long enough to get settled in and take care of whatever preliminary business there is/was.

Well when you say "business trip" am I to assume the relocation isn't permanent?

I hadn't exactly planned that far ahead, but I'll leave it at "It was not planned to be permanent." If it happens to become permanent over the course of the IC, that's a different story.

Well the point of the story is be long term, had I known your intent was to have your role be temporary, I would have approached the issue a lot differently. Personally, as a GM, I can't say I'm thrilled to just learn this important bit of knowledge. I feel like I should have been made aware of this a lot sooner, I thought the point of your CS was to bring in a permanent new Corrector to the mix, I was ambivalent to her being "famed" and overseas but I assumed she was going to be recruited full time, otherwise there seems no point to her being in the group to being with...I didn't think she was going to be a temporary character. I can't say I'm eager to go to the trouble of including a new character (compared to the established cast in Tokyo), only to have them leave at some point.

Uh okay, I wasn't aware this was gonna be a thorn in your side, so let me clarify my intention to get rid of what seems to be a misunderstanding. My implication was never that I was gonna just up and leave the RP for character reasons. It was simply that I thought it would be easier to come up with a reason for my character to go to Japan for a trip and then end up staying there, rather than just uprooting her life and becoming a permanent resident. I didn't think it was important, it seems like an afterthought to the character to think about how they got to the place they need to be. For me it was enough that she was there, and it would take care of itself over the course of the story.

If it's important to you, then I'll just have her move there instead. It's not really a big deal.

It would be a thorn in any GM's side I'd think, to to be under the impression all submissions were for actual permanent spots and then to be notified right before we start that it wasn't the case after all. I think I have a right to be a bit miffed that this "after thought" wasn't brought to my attention sooner, it is kind of an important bit of information as a GM, to know if a character is intended to be a drifter. So yes, I assumed she was coming on for the actual relocation and not for a one time thing...

I'll apologize, but I don't plan on arguing with you about this. Practically speaking, I've already told you that I plan on staying, so nothing's going to change. I'm not sure why you'd assume that I was gonna up and leave, as I've never heard of something like that happening in an RP (someone joining for just a short time when everything was built around a long term goal.) Maybe you and I have just had different experiences that make it a real threat to you and I just haven't so it's not a big deal to me.

Either way, it was just a misunderstanding, I don't think it's something to get angry about because there's no ground there to stand on. I was never actually intending to leave. Case closed. I'm sorry that I gave you the wrong impression, I can see why you'd be angry if I was going to randomly leave, of course you'd have a right to be angry. But that scenario was just never on the table in the first place.

Then it was a misunderstanding, I was confused by your statement in saying to her, the trip was temporary, when I think the offer (in the RP sense of things) would be only extended as a permanent placement.
