Future Genres: Do you want this to become post apoc and deal with time travel down the line? (ex in 3-4 chapters)

RP Post Frequency: How often can you be active in the IC as well as the OOC? What should I expect from you?

RP Post Amount: How much are you comfortable posting?

I am finally back! I'm a bit sunburn but oh well. Sorry about the delay, I honestly thought I'd have time and decent internet. I was so wrong. Anyway, this needs to get pumping. IC will be up soon, I swear, this time I mean it. (I don't have much else going on now woooo)

@Archangel89: Depends on the character and yourself as a writer. We're about to kick things off (finally amirite) and waiting would have to be worth it, otherwise I'd advise on coming in at a later chapter, but again, CS pending.

The IC will be up in 3-6 hours, to recap what should be "common" knowledge in the IC-verse:

Chapter One begins as follows...

Mimamoru has been with the current Tokyo gang the longest. She is more or less acting leader, save for their actual missions since they come through the Cnnt App. Then we have Soshi who is a bit younger but has earned his stripes regardless. Then we have Sarah who is the same age yet has been with the group for a short while (I was going to make her new right off the bat but to avoid the awkward meet-n-greet stage, she's been here for a "while" so it's up to her writer to dictate that time). Then there's Michiko, Irie, Matsushita who round out the group who has been trained by Mimamoru during their beginning years. The group is decent in combat together, but since some of them change weapons or even alias, from promotions or upgrades when they've logged in enough credit with the Gvn, sometimes perfecting harmony can be a challenge.

It's currently the year 2021, it's January the 9'th and most holiday celebrations have ended, even so, the Correctors have been called away several times over the past three weeks, despite the supposed promised downtime for them. Normally things can be put off until after the holidays but this year, things seem to be picking up speed in terms of hackers and thieves. Depending on where your character lives and possibly may go to school (if they're still in it?) you should take your intro into consideration and give a general sum of things over the past say, two months. You don't need to go into massive prose about family and history. Have fun with the winter season, my intro will outline a new threat that is the cause of so much unrest in the DgtWld.

Should you wish to collab with someone based on their character or if they're somehow roomies or whatever, feel free.

Any questions should be asked in the OOC so everyone stays on the same page. And of course, should there be a delay in a post, tell us so we know we're waiting or so I give the "okay" for you to be skipped this round. Generally I'm fine with waiting for posts but if I have to wait in the IC, try to make an effort in the OOC. Some people are busy in the summer, some aren't. Everyone is different but that doesn't mean communication should down. As we progress through the first Chapter which is mostly a means to wet our feet in the world, I will be making possible banners for collections for the RP. There is no order but I think RF is still sort of MIA so...I'll try and work around that.

I apologize in advance if I ask things that were already asked in the past, I have a terrible memory and it's been a fair bit since I really looked at the settings [I had to look back at my CS to remember who I was role playing to boot...]

-So does everyone's character knows each other's real name?
-If so what was the alias for again?
-Do you have any qualms about our characters calling others by their family name if they're a senior or slightly-distant-friends? I don't... personally like putting "-san" or something at the end though, but since the setting is in Japan(?), I wondered how much of its culture do we need to reflect on the role play.

- Yes everyone knows each other's real name. They meet online under their alias but know each other offline as well. By everyone, I mean the Correctors.

- The alias is to keep their online identity separate from their offline life, as well as to protect them and their families, should hackers get past the Gvn's defenses for the Corrector.

- No, not at all. If your character is younger or newer to the group (though Sarah would be the newest so the least is known about her) then using more formal greetings is okay. But everyone should be on pretty close/casual terms at this point.

Well, that was a bit lengthier than I intended. But my odd little American Psycho "morning routine" inspired introductory post has been completed. Success!

Just to reiterate, no one outside the Corrector group would be allowed to know of their job, it seemed a bit hazy in your post but if he just says his job is with the Gvn and nothing else, it should be cool. Just needed to double check there. Otherwise, glad to see a good post so soon~!

I'll be able to post on Saturday evening, since I'm slammed with work this week and I'll be asleep all saturday morning/afternoon after working friday night, but I'm really looking forward to this so I shouldn't take all that long to write something once I get the time. Posts looking good so far~

Oh yeah, I should be more clear about that. His government job was referring to helping amp up the security on the Rainbow Bridge, since that would fall under government constriction. My fault should of just been more clear about that. But thank you! You wordsmithy isn't too shabby yourself!
