Ah the welcoming breeze of summer. How refreshing its warm winds caressed the skin, the sun shining down upon all of the world's occupants. What then, should the activity be for today? A trip to the beach? Some karaoke maybe? Or perhaps a search for the infamous and elusive Maid Cafe that actually really did exist? Oh, so many things to do and so little time! Smell that air, hear the summer sounds, taste the sunshine. So uplifting, so beautiful...how utterly annoying. Yes, that's what it really was. Underneath all the fun in the sun was just another day with that accursed light tainting her soul. Well, it wasn't all bad, right? Right?
She sat alone in the club room, her eyes shifting over all the latest manga scans on her phone while checking out the newest summer anime recommend towards the general public. The red framed glasses placed oh so delicately on her figure hid well the numerous dark circles around her eyes from lack of sleep. Who could sleep when there was just too many things to explore via the Internet? Naturally, she was the first one there and with good reason. As Brigade Leade-, er, Club Leader, it was her sole duty to maintain the Handy Man Club. That meant being on time every day...she, uh, didn't sleep here overnight did she?
The school did keep the club rooms open during the breaks...was the community in that desperate need to have someone to help? Probably so, as the plot demanded it...even still, the young and ever blossoming otaku known as Yuzuru Tokisaki waited patiently for the others to arrive. There really shouldn't be any issues to resolve today-unless of course someone came to them later-so she had put aside a number of activities just for the club. Smirking, she carefully removed her glasses and placed a reddish purple contact lens she was apparently keeping in her pocket gently in her left eye before tapping her finger methodically...
Said tapping only served to lull her into the warmth of the day, and she found herself laying her face down on the side of her head desk and shutting her eyes close. The cool touch of the wood on her face felt heavenly...
"Damnit Sleep! I see you're working with the Sun today, eh? Well I, Yuzuru Tokisaki, command you to...command you to...to....damn...zzzz."
And like that, the Handy Man Club leader and resident otaku fanatic was out like a light. Hmm, who would be the first person her sleep deprived eyes would lay on next? What is in store for our plucky heroine?
Probably nothing much.
