House Dunsch-Taxi is pretty damn interesting in terms of the politics involved with them.

How long is a season in IRL days?

Page 19 of the document:

Rules said The units of time are as follows: 24 hours to a day, 30 days in a month, 4 months in a season, 4 seasons in an annum. Each round of orders [see below] consists of a season. The seasons are the Waiting, the Working, the Growing, and the Harvesting.

The game will begin in the Waiting Season. For each round, every player must send a list of things they wish to accomplish to the GM via PM,called your Actions. The GM will tell you if these things are capable of being accomplished, but so long as they are within your means, you should be able to accomplish them. These orders may be as simple or ICly elaborate as you desire.

A round of posting is completed when each player has made their orders, and all battles have been resolved, or a week of real-time has passed. Specific units of time are meant to aid in the deliberation of time, and not all units will necessarily come into play.

Incidentially this means a year has 16 months in this world. It's not entirely clear but I assume a season is the same as a round of posting, meaning a season equals a real life week.

If we can manage to pull off 3.5 days per season, we can do 26 years in an RL year.

Alright, I made my thing. Let's hope I calculated everything correctly.

Right before Flooby makes the official statement of the IC starting, because by then everyones sheets SHOULD be readable by then (No offense intended), I will be making basic sheets for just food. Nothing else.

Particularly to you, since they're married to the heirs of both your vassal houses.

Yup, 1 season = 1 round of posting. You have to think ahead with your actions, and post patrols during conflicts, so you don't get sneak attacked.

Jeez, I wonder what Lundland would look like in 26 years. . .

@ Biriki: Looks good, but I don't trust myself right now, so I'll wait 'till tomorrow to see if you're all good.

I count 102 points spent, and 22 family points. Beara is actually 17 points, not 13. Remember that towns cost 5 points initially. If you want to spend a point on family points, you need to axe three things, basically. I'd recommend downgrading some of the walls around your lessers fiefs, since that would be the least hurtful to your current stats.

Ah, I figured I made the town mistake when I downgraded the population while editing, but anyway:

I downgraded Nicland's, Ardennia's and Novumsland's walls by one level each.

Alright, you're all good on points. I assume you wish to wait to do your military after you see your vassals? Otherwise, you're accepted. Welcome! I'll be making your vassals after I finish Ashgan's, Outcast's, and Nex's. I believe that makes you lord number 8.

EDIT: I regret to inform you all that tariffs have been nerfed. Only a quarter of the plunder value is added each annum, now. This has been something on my mind ever since I started the game, but I figured the point expense of towns would mean there would only be a few towns, and thus it would be relatively fair, but now that everyone has a town, those without one would suffer a huge disadvantage.

I mean, Palma alone was set to make something like 50 to 60k. Lord knows how much they would make at Wealthy or Magnificent wealth.

If what you're saying is you decreased the amount of money we get every year, I quit. In the beginning I was making a small kingdom because that's what I do and what I thought was the max in the game, then I found out I had a shit ton more points to spend and I ask what was up -- you said you wanted people to have massive armies and strong kingdoms, not new ones. With the math, a town may make 100k, but upkeep will dwindle that to nothing in times of war. I've done my taxes too many times and done it enough for others that I won't do another big overhaul. Sorry Flooby, I'm out.

Dude, what's your deal? Your tariffs aren't figured into your income. The number on your sheet is the same. Flooby has put in way too much work for you. You don't have to do taxes again, but even if you did, it is elementary school math. Do some derivatives or integrals and then bitch at me about how hard the math is.

@Flooby
I have the bad habit of waiting far too long with my profiles too get accepted, so I've decided to add all the detail and fluff stuff later. Granted, I have not included a military at first because you mentioned somewhere at the starting post that no levies are raised at the start unless we want to, but since everyone else seems to do that already, I figure I better think about that as well ^^

Nope, you don't have to do anything else. Nobody's gotten tariffs yet, because all the towns haven't been made yet.

And So Boerd was a bit harsh, but you do seem to be making this a little more complicated than it needs to be. Crops aren't a factor in figuring how much an army costs, it's just straight up bullis, so all you have to do when figuring out your military is know how many bullis it costs. Other than the military, all the values are in the rules, so it's mostly just picking from a list of what you want, and adding everything up.

Could you explain what you're finding difficult? Your sheets don't need to be any more detailed than what's already been accepted, or any of the vassal sheets.

First of all, why would I bitch at you? What significance do you have involving Flooby's work? I appreciate his work and it is his, I won't judge any decision he makes towards his own creation. Second of all, did you realize I said "if what you're saying is"? Need to back off before you blow up for no reason.

I ended up finishing Outcast's vassals first, for no reason. Sorry, Ash, but you're next anyhow! Hopefully you'll see them tonight too, because their descriptions are already done.

Ah, sorry, I misread your excel sheet. I was looking at the messy one, and thought you had already paid your troops their crops, which you don't need to just starting out.

They were good when I first looked at them, but it seems you changed them. Some of them are difficult to tell which category they belong to. A helpful label would make it easier. ;)

EDIT: Nevermind, double-checked it, it's 54. You've got six points to axe.
