[IC] Kidnapped - The White Room

Core looked over at Lynnie.
"Yeah, there should be food in that room," She pointed at the dinning area.

Calamity still felt hungry, but no food appeased her. "Why are they feeding us this disgusting crap filled with chemicals? Why don't they have any fresh food?" Calamity pouted, putting her hands on her hips.

Lynnie walked into the room that Core had pointed to. She rummaged in the cabinets and found a jar of applesauce. Lynnie began going through the drawers, looking for a spoon. Her stomach screamed again and pain welled up inside. She gave up on her search and popped open the jar, shoveling the sauce out with her fingers. She walked back into the room with the others. "So, whats going on?" Lynnie talked between shovels of applesauce.

Jeffery turned to Calamity almost in shock, "what do you mean by fresh? Because I ate the food and it was pretty good... well I love all food." Jeffery hears Lynnie ask a question so he decided to explain," well you see we found a room full of traps, Core would have died if she could die, I got an arrow in my arm, and that about recaps most everything," Jeffery didn't dare mention the blue flames yet, not until he figured out what they were. He looks down at his right arm where the wound was and saw that it had completely healed, almost like Core's had but he was sure that it was for a different reason, probably relating to the blue flames.

"What do you mean, what do I mean?" Calamity asked Jeffery, sniffing the air. "Smells like stale shit."

Lynnie stared at the Jeffery boy for a few minute and then smiled. He seemed nice, and he was kind of cute. Lynnie scolded herself and wiped the smile of her face, pushing the thoughts a side. Boys are not your main priority right now Lynnie, nor will they ever be. But the boy was cute. Lynnie shoveled more applesauce into her face, hoping it would distract her from the boy. It didn't and she was staring at him now.

Jeffery was staring at his wound for a second, curious as to how it healed so fast, and then he looked up and saw Lynnie staring at him. He started to wonder a bit, "why are you staring at me like that?" He decided to go ahead and ask, wondering how she would react.

Lynnie jumped and then blushed. "U-umm. No reason." Lynnie threw her head down, her cheeks were hot. "Sorry." She mumbled. She should go back to being silent and sitting in the corners. Her red hair was falling over her tilted face and she held the jar in her hands, her arms dangling in front of her thin body.

Core was thinking. She stumbled across a thought, or maybe it was a memory, that piqued her interest. An office called Central Order Resistance. Thats where her 'parents' worked. Core then understood her name. It wasn't Core but rather C.O.R.E., Central Order Resistance Equipment. She started to remember qualities about herself. Her body aged normally but her mental age grew twice as as fast, aging two years in one. And her 'parents' they were really just scientists who created her.

"You don't need to apologize, I don't really mind," Jeffery obviously didn't understand why she was staring at him, he was more preoccupied trying to figure out the blue flames. Jeffery suddenly hears one of the voices in his head call out 'Jeffery' and he begins to panic.

Lynnie glanced back up at the boy, there seemed to be something wrong with him, something different. "Are you okay?" Lynnie squeaked out, taking a few steps closer to the Jeffery.

Sonja walked over to the wall where the names were written, remembering that he had a few things to add there. German...Trap Room... After thinking for a moment, he decided that should be all for now, so he put down the paint with a yawn. He definitely was done sleeping after all that.

Jeffery heard Lynnie ask if he was ok, "maybe, maybe not. Still haven't confirmed my own mental state, but that's besides the point. One of those voices in my head said my name..." Before he could continue something happened, it was almost like a vision. He saw him only much younger, about the age of eight, standing in the middle of a burning town, he was crying, while strange creatures rampaged through town and destroyed everything. After the vision, that was very similar to his earlier nightmare, was over he fell to his knees and collapsed to the ground in pure shock.

Core quickly ran to the dinning area and began to brew chamomile tea. It should calm him down.

Sonja moved quickly to Jeffery's side when he collapsed. "Jeffery? What's wrong? Did something happen?" He placed a hand on his shoulder, worried about him.

Jeffery pulled himself up and sat down against the wall, "I'm okay," his voice sounded dazed, "just had probably the worst flashback ever, but I know a little more about myself now."

Core poured the tea and ran over to where Jeffery was.
"Here have some tea, it should calm you down," Core told him handing him the tea

Jeffery happily took the tea, "thank you," he thanked her before he began drinking. "So, apparently some town that I used to live in got attacked by strange creatures when I was about eight, and everybody I know got killed," Jeffery explained the vision to the rest of the group.

"Ah... That's... that's pretty awful. I'm sorry you had to remember that." Sonja looked down, unsure what else to say. What a horrible thing to have gone through, he couldn't imagine having to go through such a terrible memory a second time.

Lynnie blinked rapidly and then walked into the dinning area, putting the half empty applesauce jar on to the counter. Lynnie stood in the area adjoining the two rooms. "I'm going to make lunch, does anyone have any preferences?"
