Amy looked at him shocked for she could not believe someone like his parents would go as far as that all because of business. She wondered why his dad not listened to what Philip meant when he started the convo instead of assuming something else. Amy slowly raised her hand and lightly touched it for she felt bad for him. Her life was pretty bad but it was no where compared to this. "Do this hurt sometimes?" She asked as she lightly traced it before placing her hand on his cheek for she did not know how often it has been to feel a gentle touch. She wanted him to smile again for she did not like the look on his face after he explained about his parents and past to her. "Pain pain fly away. She said as she moved her hand away as it she grabbed something and was throwing it and did it while she sang that for a bit before stopping. "Sorry I learned that in school and it stuck with me for it helped me get through mainly painful times and memories." She said to him and looked at him before taking his hands into her.

"Philip you are strong though and it shows through your smile and enthusiasm." Amy said to him as she held his hands tight. "Just like how you were we we first meet and when you accident through the pizza dough up on the ceiling by accident when you tossed up to hard." She said with a small laugh bringing up the fun times they had. "You are here now and I want you to be able to smile again and just try to create new memories like I want to do now and hopefully create more once I pay off this debt and I hope we can make new fun memories together." Amy said to him as she looked at him in the eyes.

Phillip unconsciously flinched away from her touch as it gently rubbed his eye-patch. It was enough to snap him out of his daze, and he gave Amy a reassuring thumbs up. "Yeah, I'm fine....thanks Amy." Listening to her words, he was amazed at how optimistic she was being. The girl who had cut herself and was previously as depressed as he was was now giving him, of all people, advice. Nodding to her words, he gave her small smile. "Sure...I'd like that very much."

Amy smiled at him before looking down at her arms and rubbing them. " maybe if. I am lucky that is maybe being around you will help for I was so happy around you especially teaching you how to make that Pizza it made me forget my past forget the pain I went throug and caused myself." She said to him for it was true she mainly did it after what Ariel told her when she lead her back to her room the first night they meet that made her snap and caused her to cut herself but she was not going to blame Areil for that for she had not clue about Amy's past.

"Well we better get back down to the kitchen I am sure Areil is wonder where are and why we are taking so long." She said with a small smile and let go of his hands and moved some of her hair behind her ears and went to to door so they could go back to the kitchen.

"Yeah...let's go." Phillip moved over to take his hand in Amy's and led her back down to the kitchen. His aura was much more positive and a wide grin was on his face as well. Just like the day before. However, that smile eventually became inverted when he did enter the kitchen.

Ariel had the phone in her hand and a blank expression on her face. Concerned, Phillip waved a hand in front of her to make sure she was alright.

"Ariel? What's wrong?" he asked nervously.

"It's...it was your parents young master...apparently they've captured Amy's parents in an attempt to steal from them."

"Well....isn't that a good thing?"

Ariel shook her head. "Young master...as of now...your parents have declared that Amy will no longer be working here. Or anywhere else for that matter. Not until this has all been sorted out."

Amy smiled at Philip as she held his hand as they went down to the kitchen when she saw Areil and was concerened at what was going and was a little afraid now. WHen she explained that her parents were arrested for trying to stela from them she knew that was going to happen eventually. Bur when she heard she will no longer be working here or anywhere made her heart fall and face really pale.

"What but I had nothing to do with that at all I try to work hard to earn my money unlike them that try to steal and scam them not me." Amy said as tears streamed down her face. "I am still in so much debt if I don't pay it off soon I can go to jail for this." She said as she covered her face with her hands as she cried and since she was no longer working here she could not stay here anymore it was part of the job descriptions. And since was removed from service so was her home.

Amy then left the room up to her no longer room and started packing for there was nothing she could do about this. "Its not fair I did everything right I work still I can't move anymore, I cooked morning to evening, I sold everything that I ahve ever owned to pay off most of the debt, and yet I am being punished." She siad as she wipped her eyes on her sleeve. She grabbed all her now useless uniforms and palced them in her suitcase and got out of her uniform and changed into her shorts and tank top she wore as PJs and was able to find her jacket. Amy had everything packed and closed her suitcase as more tears fell dow her face.

"No Amy stop! We'll think of something! We'll...we'll fight the legal system if we have to!" Phillip stood in front of her bedroom doorway, spreading his arms out in a futile attempt to bar her way. "Please, there has to be another way! You can't go now...you just got here!" A soft hand was placed on his shoulder, and he turned to see a saddened Ariel.

The dark-haired girl had slightly teary eyes and she shook her head to negate Phillip's words. "Young master...this is a matter beyond your control. We cannot change your parent's judgement..."

"Oh yeah? And why not!"

"Young master, think of your father! Of your family!"

"Screw my family! You two are my family!

Shocked at the outburst, Ariel took a step back. "No...no we're not. We're just people who work for you Phillip...it's time you grew up and accepted that fact," she said softly.

Amy looked at Philip trying to block her from leaving pretty much it was futile she knew if she stayed and his parents come by and saw her they could have her arrested and hurt Philip like when his father ripped out his eyes and she did not want Philip to get hurt again. she wanted to stay not because she was getting paid and have her debt finally disappear but because she liked being around Philip he always somehow made her happy again and forget about her awful past she lived.

Amy looked at Ariel and was thinking that she would loved to have her gone and thing would go back to normal but she believe it wont. "Does not matter who you are you could be a maid, a homeless person, someone that just lives next door but they can be like family to you even thought they are not blood anyone can be family to you." She said to Ariel with tears falling down her face. "When thought I have been here not that long I considered you guys as family." She said to them as she tried to wipe her eyes on her Jacket sleeve.

"But it is best that I leave so that way if your parents do come and see me here it will only makes things worst and I do not want them to hurt you again you already told me your father ripped out your eyes and I do not want them to hurt you like that again." Amy said while trembling badly while holding her suitcase in her hands. "You truly are kind Philip and never lose that trait about you." Amy said and ran past them once she saw an opening and ran to the front door as tears trailed down her face.

"No, wait!"

Phillip lashed out to grab ahold of her but Ariel held him back with her grip. "Ariel, let go! We have to stop her!" He continued to fight his maid, trying to break away from her iron grasp. Ariel watched sadly on as she stared too at Amy's departure.

"Young master...Phillip....let her go...she's made her decision...or at the very least....let me go after her!" Shoving him away into the servant's room, she fished out a spare key from her pocket and then proceeded to close and lock the door, trapping Phillip from the inside. "Apologies young master!"

As she said that, the servant turned away to chase after Amy. She would not....she would not let another friend like her slip away so easily!

Amy ran as fast as she could as far as her legs would take her. She forgot she left her scrapbook behind in her room and a part of that book was hallowed out for it held a treasure her grandfather gave her and it was a pocket watch. A very old and valuable pocket watch that her grandfather made her swear to never sell for it had been in the family for generations and did not trust her mother with it so he gave it to his granddaughter. It made it more special for it had a photo of her grandfather and herself in the watch but any wealthy person could recognize her grandfather as a powerful rich man.

Soon Amy made it to a park and collapsed onto her hands and knees coughing hard. She felt so weak after running so much. Tears were still falling down her face as she tried to get her break back. "Why me.......why am I punished for all the bad my parents did I spent my life doing the right thing work hard study I wanted to go to college and one day find love but I can't even have those things." She said as she trembled before she weakly got up and grabbed her bag. It started to rain and Amy quickly took shelter under a tree waiting for the rain to let up so she could keep moving and try to find out her next move now that she could not work anywhere and she hated begging for what she needed.

"Finally found you. You know, with someone who cuts themself alot and loses blood all the time, you'd think you'd be less athletic. But you're not." Ariel walked up to the probably soaked Amy with a large and purple umbrella resting in her fingers. She was panting slightly from the long run she had to take in order to make it this far, but was glad that Amy was alright and hadn't done anything stupid. "You look miserable out here by yourself...here." She offered the umbrella to Amy.

Amy was shocked when she saw Ariel and was wondering how she was bale to keep up with her like that. "I had an adrenaline rush when I ran off...more importantly why did you follow me there was no point." She said as she stayed under the tree and she was soaked now and shivering a little bit for she was freezing since she was on in shorts and a Jacket. "I may be miserable but at least this way if Philip's parents were to come over they would not see me and hurt him like they did with his eye." She said to her and turned the umbrella down for she was not used to Charity and was not taking any charity from anyone for that was just who she was. "You should go back home must be great since now I am no longer there." she said looking down not wanting her to see her face. "Besides this is how the world is punishing me obviously all the things I did right was the wrong thing for me too do."

Narrowing her eyes at the way Amy brushed off her offer, Ariel sighed and walked closer to her fellow maid. Placing the thing above head, whether she wanted the help or not, Ariel paused just slightly....and then lashed out to violently slap Amy across her left cheek. A stinging red mark was left and Ariel had anger in her eyes.

"You....you...you idiot! Stop it! Just stop it already! Stop moping around! Stop blaming yourself! Stop making others worry about you! Stop trying to run away from the help people give you! Stop assuming people hate you! Stop...stop assuming that I hate you!"

Taking slow breaths, Ariel took a moment to regain her composure before offering her hand to the other girl. "Sorry....that I slapped you. Guess I got carried away...but Amy, you're not the only one who's been hurt before." At this angle in the rain, it was hard to tell if Ariel was crying or if it was just running water across her face.

"Look....I was like you once. Actually, alot like you...it doesn't get easier...at least not at first."

Amy just sat there before she felt pain on her cheek aftering being slapped really hard across her cheek like she did. She held her cheek that Ariel had slapped while she yelled at her thought it was not new to Amy she was used to her mother yelling at her. But she was pretty silent during the whole thing for the slapping part realy hurt a lot. She was still prett shcoekd with the slap as she looked at Ariel.

When Ariel was done venting she looked at her as she extended her hand out to her and Amy was unsure to take it. "But when does it get easier." Amy said as tears fell. "When does it I hate this life so much at how things are I even considered suicide a couple times I still do to this day after losing my jab because of my parents." Amy said for she just wanted things to go back to normal. "I just want to live a normal life with no care or worries about paying a stupid debt and having to work sawn to dusk and sometimes dusk to dawn." She said to Ariel really stressed and frustrated with everything.

"I am so lost, frustrated and I jsut do not know what to do anymore." Amy said to Ariel just wanting all this pain and suffering to end.

Having heard the other girl out, Ariel sighed miserably as she stood next to Amy in the shelter of the small tree. "Look...it doesn't get easier. At least not at first...I guess I kinda lied there, huh? Amy, I know how you feel, believe me. I...I-I was kinda in the same situation myself a long time ago...see, my parents had abandoned me at an early age, so I never got to even know them." Ariel clenched her fists tightly as her mind brought her eyes back to darker times.

"I was scared and alone...I was taken to an orphanage but that didn't help much. Soon, I was like you. I-I cut myself whenever I could...the orphanage nannies yelled at me when they found out, but that only made me cut deeper. I was even...I....lost something special at a young age. Something all little girls fear of losing when evil exists in the world."

"With my purity gone, I was through with the world. I wanted to die Amy! Sometimes I still do! I almost did it too....I was this close to just making it go away..."

Amy stayed curled up trying to stay warm fr she was freezing but did not say anything. she listened to Ariel and saw Ariel had it rougher then becuase of all the other things. "Why do things have to be this way why did our parents even bother to have us if they think we would just be a burden do they not all the suffering we could go through like we did to this day we need them to help set up the path that we need to walk down to help get through life without so many trials." Amy said as she watched the rain fall in front of them before letting out a small sighed.

"Philip must hate me for running all of a sudden because all I wanted was to protect him not cause trouble or be a burden on him like how I normally felt around my parents." Amy said before letting out a large sneeze all of a sudden and did it a few more times. She was slowly comming down with a cold because of the cold rain and how she was dressed for it was the only thing she had that was not a uniform.

"No....no it's not like that." Ariel reached out to gently grab Amy's shoulder and to hold her firmly. "Phillip cares a great deal about you Ariel. Trust me, he doesn't see you as a burden at all. He...he cares more for you than..." Her voice stuttered, and she drew back her hand, emotion beginning to build within. "When I almost killed myself back then...all those years ago...he was there for me...he was always there....and he'll be there for you too Amy."

Amy looked at Ariel when she placed her hand on her shoulder as she talked to her. She sighed for she never had people to care about her. "It feels weird in all honesty to have someone care about me and worry about me I am not used to it at all it feels so strange." She said to Ariel and slowly sat up and sneezed a bit more and her faced flushed a bit for she was slowly coming down with a cold. "I have one questions though Ariel what did you do with Philip for I was sure he would be the one following just by the way he acted?" Amy asked her as she looked at Ariel.

Ariel smirked at Amy's question. "Oh the young master? He's....he's kinda busy right now. I insisted that I be the one to look for you. The poor boy was about to have a fit of rage, and that's extremely rare for him you know." The dark haired girl giggled lightly before softening her grip on Amy's shoulder. "He...he really does care about you, you know. More than just an employer I mean...heh, I guess you could say I'm kinda jealous of you two. But I know when to give up."

Amy looekd at Ariel with a look on her facing she did not by it at all. "Philip wanted to chase me but you locked him in a room somwhere didn't you?" She asked her for she was not eay to fool anymore. But she did look away from what she said about him caring about her. "He must feel sorry for the life I lived though I do not know why you have been through a lot worst then me." Amy said as she sneezed again. "Come on we better go back before Philip breaks the door down and rushes out to find us." She said as she picked up her small suitcase so they could go back but she had no clue at where she could go now for she had no job so she has no money and she had no family or aything to really help her. WHile she was thinking that her parents were dong everyhtng to make it look like thier daughter was to the whole blame and that she was the master mind of thier scams.

Ariel shrugged in innocence. "Maybe....does it really matter where he is right now? The point is that he cares for you Amy. But you're right; we should probably head back." Taking her hand within her own, Ariel led the other girl back into the rain and back towards the mansion. The sound of the rain and squish of the mud underfoot became the only ting heard for a short while before Ariel broke the silence. "Until we've sorted this all out....you're staying with us Amy. Not as a maid...but as a guest...and our friend."
