[Fairy Tale Dreamer]

Amy stayed in her room still sleeping the time most of the day away just wantingto get over her cold so she would not be a bother to anyone. BUt later on she did wake up coughing hard. "Uhg my throat is really dry." SHe siad and looked to see that there was no water so she got up and put some slippers on and slowly made her way out of her room and down to the kitchen. She was still pretty much pale and looked like she was almost a ghost. She made her way to the kitchen and reached for a glass and filled it with water and took a drink of it but her hand got too Shaky and soon she dropped it causing the glass shattered right at her feet.

"Amy!"

The other girl had suddenly appeared before them, walking down the stairs to get a drink of water; only to have the glass shatter down below her feet. By that time, both Phillip and Ariel had gone on eating and cleaning the kitchen, leaving a spare plate out for Amy that was now cold. '

As Phillip rushed over to Amy and check if she was ok, Ariel quickly grabbed a broom and swept up the shards of glass.

Amy's hand was still a little shaky. "I am sorry I just wanted to get some water and I guess my hands were a little shaky." She said to them. "I should not have come down stairs." She said looking down. "I will go back upstairs and not cause any trouble." She said quielty as she turned away from the glass and walked out of he kitchen with her hand on the wall to help support her.

She slowly made her way back to the stairs and went back up. "I am such an idiot." SHe sad as some tears fell down her face before coughing hard again. It caused her to stop and sit on one of the steps of the stairs until she could get her breath back after coughing so much.

Phillip looked over at Ariel in desperation. Thankfully the other maid only nodded and soon the master of the manor took off. Racing up the stairs, he paused in front of the very top one before softly knocking on the side wall to signify his presence. Waiting just a moment longer, he let out a clenched breath and quietly made himself known.

"Hey there." He sat down next to Amy and looked down the stairs before them. "You know, if you just wanted some water you could have asked. You know me or Ariel wouldn't have hesitated to get it for you."

His tone was not patronizing, nor was it cruel. Instead, it was soft and warm.

Amy was panting a bit when she heard the knock on the wall and looked over at Philip and listened to him talk to her. 'I am sorry guess I am not used to relying on other to help me out it was more people rely on me to help them it was never the other way around." She said to Philip. Amy was silent for a while before looking at him. "You still can't look at me since this morning.....you must really regret sleeping with me last night even though all you did was hug me then pass out." She sad as she slowly got up unsteadily from where she was sitting. "I will say this it was nice sleeping with you I actually had a really nice sleep without nightmares so thank you for being there at least that one time." She said as she slowly started to make her way to her room again.

Once in her room she collapsed onto the bed and curled up into a ball on her side after placing a blanket over herself and closed her eyes.

"Amy come on, wa-"

But the former maid had already cut him off by getting up and proceeding back into her room, closing the door behind her. Sighing, he made the effort to stand by and then slump near the door but chose not to enter. How could he make her see that she wasn't a nuisance? That she meant something to him?

None of this would have happened if he didn't try to branch off from his family. Sighing darkly, he closed his good eye and soon began the age old habit of stroking the other covered one.

Amy laid on her bed breathing heavy for it was getting hard for her to breath and her chest was getting tight like someone was pushing on her lungs everytime she let it a breath. "What's happening?" she said confused for she thought this was a cold and it does not feel like one anymore. "He-help." she said in a weak voice not knowing what to do or how to get Philip or Ariel's attention. She tried to get out of bed for her body felt heavy but once up she coughed really hard as she tried to get to the door but it became hard. The world started spinning and blurring out a lot she started to lose her footing. Before she got to the door she tried calling for help but she coughed again and soon collapsed to the floor with a loud thud on the floor. "Ph-Philip H-help." she said trying to breath more sir in but it hurt to much.

Phillip sighed to himself and was about to leave his sitting position and help Ariel with whatever else she needed. Getting up, he took about two steps forward before hearing a low thud come from behind him. Raising an eyebrow, he gently opened the door and entered into the servant's quarter. Seeing Amy sprawled out on the floor before him, he immediately sprang forward towards the girl and kneeled beside her.

"Amy? Amy are you alright?"

He could see that she was breathing rapidly and he gently placed her head back down onto the ground. Damnit...he did't want to leave like this...but he had to get help! Why was he so useless? He was no maid...he couldn't even do proper CPR.

"Amy, just stay there. I'll go get Ariel."

And with that, he ran down the stairs to alert the other maid.

Amy couldn;t move or anyhting her body was just so heavy when she heard Philip rush in and talk to her. "H-help." Was all she could say before he fliped her onto her back while she still kept breathing heavy and fast trying to get oxygen in her lungs. She still had not clue at what was going on at all for she never felt like this before and she was scared. Tears where falling down her face for she was scared she would no longer be able to breath and she did not want to die. She had no clue she had nemonia and it was a bad case of it for fluid was in her lungs making it extremly hard for her to breath.

"p-please -hu-hurry." She said to Philip before he ran out to get Ariel and she tried to breathing as much air as she could but she had to take multiple breaths fast just to get oxygen in her body.

In no time, Phillip returned with Ariel right behind him. Seeing Amy splutter for air before her, Ariel narrowed her eyes before gently leaning down and grabbing a hold of her. Lifting her up, she placed the former maid onto the bed and ran back out with a worried look on her face.

"Phillip you stay with her and calm her down, alright? I need to see if we have any antibiotics left."

Amy kept breathing heavy and fast but it was slowly getting harder to breath when Ariel moved her back onto the bed for she did not know what was happening to her. She looked at Ariel scared now not knowing what is going on and she looked at Ariel. "A-ariel I...I'm s-scared." She said to her and soon watched Ariel leave the room and tears fell down her face. She then started to cough really heard coughing up fluid that was in her lungs. Amy just laied there as her breathing became raspy and she did not know what to do now. "It hurts...it hurts." SHe siad as she tried to breath in though her mouth as much as she could. "Ph-philip?" SHe siad with more tears falling down her face.

"Amy just stay calm. Ariel will know what to do." Phillip stayed by her side at the bed's edge, reaching over and gently stroking her hair away from her head. Under normal conditions he would have been flustered by the mere thought of coming near Amy in this fashion. But even his body understood the dire state of the situation and he was controlled enough to keep up a reassuring smile for his friend.

Ariel soon returned with a set of white pills and a cup of water. Taking it into her palm, she gently offered the medicine to Amy before tilting her body forward and letting her sip the water to wash it down. "These are the only antibiotics we have left," she said quietly.

It was hard for Amy to stay calm for she could not breath that well she was worried that she would just stop all of a sudden and just die. Tears were falling down her face as she tried to get as much air down her lungs but it was being pushed away because of the fluid in there she was starting to think she needed to go to the hospital but judging by how they have not taken her she started to thin it was thefor the best. If she were to die she could finally live in peace with no more pain or suffre and no longer have the pain of feeling so alone.

Once Ariel gave her the medicine Amy coughed really hard coughing up more fluid in her lungs and it hurt. "D-die........I want...to...die.." She said all of a sudden as she laid back on the bed breathing heavy with her eyes closed she was in a lot of pain and wanted it to end.

Both Ariel and Phillip looked at their friend's broken form with fear. Fear of losing her forever. Fear of what would happen if they called for help. Fear for all of the other possibilities that could bear down on them at any given moment. But even so, both knew that their next decision would decide the outcome and save Amy's life. With a pained sigh, Ariel left the room to leave Phillip to comfort Amy. Walking downstairs, she picked up the manor's main phone before considering the repercussions. Then, with a narrowed gaze, she dialed the hospital.

Amy tried to turn on her side in hopes of it helping with her breathing but it still hurt and hard to breath. "P-philip I am scared." She said while crying for she knew if his parents found out she stayed at his place still even though she was fired he could get in trouble and she did not want him and Ariel to suffer but even she admited she needed to be in a hospital. She reached her hand out and grabbed Philip's hand for she just wanted to hold his hand to try to help calm her and try to relax but it was hard and she started to cough again hard as she laid on the bed wanting for al of this to end. "I-I am sorry for causing s much trouble." SHe said to him while weezing scared of what was going to hapen next to her or Philp and Areil.

Philip took his hand within her own and smiled down on her, shaking his head slightly. "You didn't cause this," he said softly. "No one did. This is...just one of those things where we can't control the factors. We can only control the outcome...right? And we will fix you up Amy....I swear it."

Several minutes passed before the familiar sirens of an ambulance was registered. Downstairs, Ariel regrettably allowed the men in and directed them towards the servant's quarter upstairs where they would take over for Amy's condition.

Amy looked at him with tears falling down her face still. "D-do me a favor please lookin my scrapbook there is a hallowed out spot with a pocket watch and contact information to my grandfather." Amy said to him as she coughed hard away from him now wanting to ris a change of getting him infected. "C-call him he might help stop your parents from hurting you because I am here still." She said to him for she knew taht his parents will found out once she ends up in the hospital.

Once the paramedics came in she had to let og of Philip's hand and the paramedics listen to her lung and heard the fluid. "She needs to get to the hospital this can be penomina." They said as he her on the stretcher so they can roll her down stairs and into the ambulance. One of them radioed in that they were coming in with her and to be ready to give her immediate attention. "One of yo are more then welcome to come or meet up at the hospital." The paramedic said to Philip and Ariel as the other one got her set up in the ambulance.

Phillip glanced over at Ariel and was about to suggest his idea before the maid stopped him. "Go to her," she said softly. "I'll try and contact her grandfather; you just make sure she's ok, alright?" Phillip said nothing more, only giving Ariel a quick hug before nodding at the paramedics. Walking over to Amy's stretcher, he reached over and clenched her hand tightly, not caring in the slightest if he was infected or not.

Amy was in the ambulance as the paramedic put IVs in her so they can start with some medicine and she looekd at Philip as he held her hand and she griped it the best she could but she was really weak. THe doors soon closed and the ambulance started driving to the hsopital. Amy started coghing hard again while the paramedic started radioing in about her coming in with her condition. The other one was trying to get a medical histry out of her but Amy was starting to lose conciousness becuase she she just feeling to weak. "Hey come ont try to stay awake." The paramedic trying to get her to do but it was hard and she coughed hard again before finally passing out and the guy told the driver to go faster and they stepped on it and rushed to the hospital.

All the while, Phillip only smiled gently back at his friend, clenching her hand tighter then ever. As she lapsed between periods of consciousness and unconsciousness, he watched over her like a silent, guardian angel. Soon, the roaring ambulance made it to the hospital, letting the paramedics wheel Amy’s cart out and into the building.

Ariel on the other hand sat on the many couches housed in the living room back at the manor. Was it really just two days ago since Amy came into their lives? How strange time moved….

Sighing, she glanced back at the door to await the arrival of Amy’s relative.
