[IC] Heroes Rise: The Prodigy

John saw Jack go into the sewers and quickly followed after him. Once in the sewers he followed the sounds of the hero and possibly the villain he was fighting. He eyes soon spotted Jack as John rounded a corner in the sewer tunnels and just as Jack created a powerful blast of energy. John cursed as the blast came towards and he created a large wall of water using his environmental construct ability to take to brunt of the blast. It still managed to knock him back a few feet but he quickly recovered and looked to see if the hero needed any assistance. He hoped that the man wasn't too careless with his energy attacks otherwise he could cause a cave in.

Jeremy had been patrolling around the city looking from the safety of roof tops and ledges. Eventually he came across a scene that looked like it would likely escalate into violence but he wasn't sure yet. It was what appeared to be a bunch of men loading boxes then some woman who he assumed was a hero standing on top of boxes probably getting ready to jump in and do something. There was a man below, likely the leader of the operation due to the fact that it seemed he wasn't doing any work and he didn't smell human so he assumed he must be either another hero or a villain. Jeremy decided to stay hidden on his rooftop perch until he was needed which might not happen. It was one thing to fight a villain on his own but since he didn't have his hero license there was the chance that the hero down there would turn him in and he couldn't let that happen.

Dimitri's ears perked as someone shouted in his direction, "Hm? What have we here?" he said as he turned his head to get a look at the unwelcome intruder. There was a moment of silence as he eyed the young woman standing on a pile of boxes, 'Oh joy...a hero. Well, on the bright side if this goes off without a hitch I can ask for more cash.' he mused as he reached into his jacket and pulled out his gun. Dimitri slowly turned and raised the gun, not even bothering to try and bluff considering his reputation made him somewhat infamous in the hero community, "I'll only make this offer once, back down and find someone else to pester. I won't hesitate to put a shot between your eyes if you try to interfere." he said calmly. Shortly after Dimitri made his offer, Mr.Blank appeared and eyed the woman as well as her current location, looking for anything that Dimitri could use to his advantage before disappearing without a word. 'Anything of use Blank?' Dimitri thought, 'Well, if she isn't too sure of her footing, that poor girl could have a rather nasty fall...'. Dimitri smirked at the input and held his gun steady, "What's it gonna be lady?".

MoonStar was shocked that this man was giving her a chance to leave. Really? She was a hero, no offer would make her forget that. Even if the villain did shoot, it wouldn't matter. She had the power of healing, a simple bullet couldn't kill her. Instantly MoonStar began floating in the air. A gold circle formed around her hand as she shot energy blasts at the man. She was curious to see if he could dodge that.

"I'm MoonStar, a hero. Obviously I'm not going to run away. I think I'll make you the same offer though. You can either tell me what your doing or I'll just have to figure it out myself" She called out. She knew her ego was extremely high for this being her first job. However she didn't care, this was her first appearance and she planned to make the most of it.

As the man let out a huge kinetic force Fear and the clones each were launched smashing into walls as the dust and sewage water sprayed everywhere. Fear struggling to get up weakly got in an attack stance. "South attack and disarm!" They then each released another smoke grenade into the air and charged at the the man. They each then attacked different points of his vanishing in and out of the smoke.

Dimitri clucked his tongue as the girl -MoonStar- rose from the boxes, however he was not nearly as annoyed by that as he was by the fact that she'd fired some strange blasts at him. Dimitri sidestepped the shots in a blur and lowered his gun as she spoke, "You're certainly an arrogant one to be ordering ME about. Especially for a child." he said as he removed the magazine from the gun and set both of the objects on the ground and rolled up the sleeves on his jacket and turtleneck, "Normally I would just shoot you and be done with it, however if you're going to prattle on about getting involved in affairs that don't concern you, I think what you need is an old fashioned beating.". Dimitri sneered as his nails grew and curved into razor sharp claws, 'Dimitri...are you sure about this? You might lose it.' Mr.Blank intoned, 'I'll be fine. This brat is about to learn how to pick her battles more carefully.' Dimitri mused. As the men that had previously been loading boxes began to close in, Dimitri waved them off before crouching "Get back to work gentlemen. This one is mine.". The villain's skin and muscles rippled slightly as he bunched up and launched himself into the air, coming within inches to MoonStar in a flash before he swiped his claws at her face.

Jeremy watched the scene from above on his perch. The man seemed to be an animal based mutant too but there was still something off about his scent something artificial about it. As the man closed in on the hero known as MoonStar Jeremy continued to watch. He was tempted to jump into action right now but he didn't seeing as she might be able to defend herself well enough but still he was nervous about trying to intervene. He decided if things went any worse he would intervene on the situation and help out but that was an absolute last resort.

MoonStar was annoyed that Dimitri wasn't taking her seriously. She was 16 not 10! As he jumped toward her, she tried to fly away but his long claws briefly scratched her. A small shriek came from her voice.The sharp claws had stung badly. Even so, as she floated in the air, the claw marks began to heal and slowly disappear. MoonStar smirked and looked at Dimitri. Maybe that would show him she was being serious. MoonStar quickly sent several amounts of golden energy toward him.

"Obviously you underestimated me." She said whole folding her arms in the air and flying around, never staying in one place.

As Dimitri landed, he just barely managed to roll away from the energy blasts fired at him. A brief flash aggravated look came across his face as MoonStar healed and smirked, however he was still able to recognize that she felt the pain, which was something he could use to his advantage. "Underestimated? You think you can heal from one little scratch and act high and mighty?" he said as he leaned onto a large gas drum, "Let me let you in on a little secret, those little scratches are by and large the least amount of damage I can do to flesh. Or do you need me to remove one of your limbs to prove it?". Dimitri's tone was cold and almost mechanical, however there was an increasingly primal glint in his eyes as he tapped his claws onto the drum. Dimitri's ears perked as he heard the sound of a truck starting up in the warehouse, eliciting a smirk from the villain, 'Just have to stall a bit longer, then I can end this kid without worrying about not getting paid.' he thought as he scraped his claws against the drum to mask the sound of the truck starting. Without warning Dimitri leaned backwards and kicked the drum into the air, spilling the contents within as he sailed towards where he assumed MoonStar would be next.

As Jeremy watched the amazing fight between the hero and villain he heard something faint that sounded mechanical and began to smell exhaust after a minute. It's then he realized those people that were loading everything up had apparently finished loading. Jeremy realized the criminals might get away if he didn't do something quick so with a mighty gymnastic leap he landed below and took off towards the truck aiming to slash the tires with his claws. Once there he took a few slashes at the front wheels of the truck.

Star Striker decided that this was a good time to attack and using the earth under the sewer water, he created two large fists shaped constructs of solid stone that glowed with blue energy. He then shot them towards the villain and his clone, if they hit then the two projectiles would slam Fear and his clone hard.

Nate had been driving his hatchback around the waterfront, using his wits and his own two eyes to find criminals. There was usually shady stuff happening near the docks, if he stayed around long enough he'd be sure to catch someone. While on patrol, he heard some small explosions and the sound of tires squealing, a sure sign of trouble. He drove towards the disturbance, and came to a warehouse parking lot, and slowed down to survey the scene a bit. In the distance, he saw a hero that looked like a teenage girl fighting with some guy with claws. He didn't want to get into the mess, so he turned his attention to the other action on the scene. He saw a some kind of rat-man thing tearing up a delivery truck. That looked liked something he could help with, so he got out of the car and touched a small piece of steel he kept on his glove, transmuting his body to metal.

"Man, I knew the wholesale business was full of rats, but these day's they're getting a bit more brazen. If you can understand me, I think it would be a good idea to let the men make their delivery, and maybe even pay for some replacement tires. These guys are just trying average folks trying to get shipment from wherever to the good people of the city." He looked the rat straight in it's eyes, and folded his arms. This is probably the highest profile public appearance Allotrope has had so far, and only now did he realize that he didn't have a logo on his shirt. Hopefully the press wouldn't go around calling him "guy with A on his kneepads" or "metal man dressed in all black"

MoonStar cursed under her breath as he broke the gas drum. Some villains were seriously annoying. Anyway, she had to win this fight. It was her first, and definitely wouldn't be her last. As he jumped toward her, her hands glowed so bright gold that she seemed to be apart of the light itself. The beam of energy aimed straight in where Dimitri was about to attack her. Her hands kept emitting the energy at him. Either he would be blind or thrown back, hopefully. Her energy was hot and could sting seriously, it extremely bugged her than she hadn't hit this guy once.

Jeremy turned to the man who had just came. He appeared to be covered in metal or maybe the metal was his skin "listen Mr. I'm not the villain here these guys aren't exactly ideal citizens if you catch my drift." he said pointing his rat like thumb at the truck. "Im just here to try and help" he said staring at the man hoping he wouldn't look him up on his MeChip. All he needed was a hero trying to turn him in for doing the right thing and in turn letting the goons get away.

Nate appreciated the fact that rat seemed to be able to speak english, so at least he wasn't a rabid animal biting the truck tire. In any case, a man biting a tire was a lot more inexplicable than a full truck leaving a warehouse. "All I got to go off of is your word, and I don't like to trust people who try to chew on tires. How would you know these guys are up to no good, have you looked at the shipping schedules or something?" He stepped in the path of truck, hoping to head it off in case anything else happened. It would've been useful to have MeChip in a situation like this to find out who this guy was, but he didn't want to pay for it or take on the risk involved in having a chip in your brain. Later he'd do an internet search for something like "who is this rat man millennia city weird guy bites tires" and hope to get some results.

"Honestly I'm just assuming there bad guys. But Mr six inch nails attacking that lady over there didn't seem to mind them loading whatever they were loading which is suspicious in my book" he said hoping to reason with the man "listen. I know you think I'm e bad guy in situation. This is obviously not exactly me lifting a car off of a trapped kid but still you gotta believe me. I'll leave if you want me to and you can sort this out with the guys in the cab if that makes you feel better but I say we keep an eye on energy girl captain long claws over there or else this outing could go bad" he said as he checked over at the fight happening in the background.

Dimitri tried to dodge the next attack, however, realizing that he would fail in doing so, settled for shielding his face. Dimitri was flung into the air before colliding with one of the warehouse's walls with a loud thud. The villain's vision blurred as he slumped to the ground, his ears rang loudly as well as he got onto his hands and knees and there was a burning pain in his arms and torso. Dimitri shook his head back and forth to get his bearings, before inspecting his arms which had suffered first degree burns which, as expected, hurt a fair deal. The sensation of pain was brief however, as it was soon blotted out by a different sensation of pain, "So you want to play it like THAT do you kid?" he hissed as he lifted his head. 'Dimitri, you might not want to do this' Mr.Blank started, only to be cut off, 'Relax, i'm only going to partially change. She's not even close to being worth a full on transformation.' Dimitri shot back mentally. Mr.Blank clucked his tongue and materialized in front of Dimitri hoping to stop what was about to happen, "Ma'am, I would really suggest that you stop here and go home. Otherwise-", Blank was cut off once more by Dimitri who sneered and willed him away before rising and pulling off his jacket and sweater to reveal the physique of a soldier. There was a brief moment in which Dimitri's face was twisted into a mask of blood lust, however it was gone in a flash, replaced once more by the blank expression he usually wore, "Alright, we've traded our starting blows. From here on out though we stop playing around.".

Dimitri's skin rippled as his muscles expanded to nearly twice their size, his teeth began to shift and change in shape, thick green scales sprouted on his arms to cover the burn wounds, and the sound of cloth being torn could be heard as a long muscular tail grew from the spot that his tailbone would be placed. Upon finishing his transformation, Dimitri stood straight and cracked his neck, wincing slightly at the throbbing pain from the sudden appendage growth and muscle expansion before staring at MoonStar and smirking, "Now then, let us see who the odds favor now, da?".

"That attack took a lot out of me..." Jack thought, "But it sure as hell hurt them."
He saw them launch another smoke grenade. He felt their kinetic signatures charging, and was about to retaliate, but then he detcted a massive source of friction moving towards them very fast. He hit the deck as two massive stone fists rocketed over his head.
"Now who the hell did that? It's rude to cut into someone else's fight!" He shouted, somewhat jokingly.

" I did" Star Striker replied to Jack.

"They say it is always good to go into a dangerous situation with backup."

As the smoke started to fill up Fear dodged the attacks thrown at him. The two projectiles then rammed into the walls of the sewer and the weak street level above started to cave in. "Nice work, Heroes" Fear said as he quickly climbed through an open hatch with his clones following.
