The RCMP were looking for the man who was making illegal screech in Newfoundland, and after several leads they came across this old docker whom they were told would know. The investigating officer brought him into the station and asked him point blank, "Do you know who makes the moonshine in Harbour Grace?"

"Oh, sure I do!"

The officers all got excited. "Really? Tell us who! Who!"

The old docker grinned at them and said, "It's the same feller what makes the sun shine in Carbonear!"

Oh, you all are so sweet, thank you. Laser tag was AMAZING, I would do it every day if I could, though I'm actually really bad at shooting pretend guns at people. >__> We still won, though. =)

On a less chipper note, I returned home to find my car had been stolen towed. Which means I'll have plenty of time to write since I'm stuck at home for a while. Just not sure I'm in the mood. Maybe later today? Something something, glass half full.

ETA: WELL, the local police department called me back to say they had my car impounded. I have mixed feelings. But less money than buying a new car.

And so sorry about the towing, but if I'm not mistaken finding parking in the city you live in, is an absolute bitch. Just ridiculously hard to find, and/or ridiculously expensive to pay for >< What a pain in the butt that must be *hugs*

That sucks Dot, I hope it all gets resolved soon. Parking in cities is always a bitch. When I lived in Boston I paid and arm and a leg for a place to park and was happy to do so.

Again, you guys are lovely. =) Yes, last night went well, and I am thrilled my car is at least safe...somewhere. It could be much worse, so I'm grateful. Less grateful to be paying just shy of a thousand bucks to get it back the day before rent is due. Looks like leftovers for the next month. >____>

Fuck Pinterest >_< first it annoys the hell out of you to get you to join the damn site so the stupid pop-ups to 'sign up now!' and 'connect on facebook!' go away and when you finally join, search images and try to click on them to go to the original site it links with it won't let you! It says 'don't go yet! This link won't take you anywhere until you're all done with the tour!' what the hell does that even mean!?

If anyone wants a copy of the link, just PM me and I'll send it - there was a problem in another thread, concerning public Google documents and idiot trolls.
