Flair nodded to the queen feeling her strange power it was like a heavy rock, it pushed down on her, Or maybe it was the intense stare. Flair slowly stepped behind dragomir so that the fiery glare would vanish. In flairs mind if the queen was soo strong why did she need a babysitter to follow her around she though to herself and returned the glare to her.The queen's eyelashes fluttered "Oh how adorable" Irena said with a toothy smile, and noticed flair moving behind the man "Please do not fear young one i merely wanted a good look at you, you looked familiar" she said, again with a toothy grin and a twinkle in her eye.

Dragomir craned his neck as Flair moved behind him "Familiar? Right well... I can assure you your Majesty that the dear has never set foot in these lands..." Dragomir said with a slightly anxious look on his face as he wondered if he said the right thing or if he would come to regret it later

Isaiah dodged and ducked the rocks and branches in their path. He was impressed by how well the princess had known the forest. Midas being the competitive stallion he was he kept rushing recklessly into obstacles in an attempt to pass Lorelei and Freya. While he wished the old horse would calm down they were now neck and neck . "You'll have to try harder than that milady!"

the Queen just stared at the man now, she wad quite confused "surely she must have a sister" she said out loud still confused she sighed " please I must go I cannot stay here much longer I needed find by the elder" she did a courtesy and left with the elder

"Come now, Sir Knight, you must get better control over Midas." Princess Lorelai kept her eyes forward but was smiling ear to ear. While Midas came through the forest like a wrecking ball, Freya was dodge the worst things, as though protecting the princess. The creak was now in view, just past a small cliff.

Galen wordlessly entered the castle, making sure the queen was following. He quickly navigated the castle using his memory of his stay here, long ago. Opening the door to the queen's chambers, he again created the orb. Holding it in one hand he motioned with the other for the queen to come inside before he closed and locked the door.

The queen enters quietly "how do i absord the energy?" Shr asked and stared at the orb it was like it was calling out her name. Irena.... it was creepy. She awaited his instructions.

"You simply hold it in your hands... Well that's the easy part. The hard part is keeping your grip on it once the pain gets to you... It should take maybe five minutes. You're lucky, because I've done this before and can make the process much faster. Less powerful or more inexperienced wizards could do this in two hours, at minimum without risking the lives of either the caster or subject of the spell."
Sending a thread of magic into the queen, he cast a spell to help her ease the pain she would experience. Whereas before it would feel like someone was flaying her skin off while she constantly regrew it, now it would feel more like a sporadic stab of pain.

"alright.. " she.mumbled and took.the orb and it felt like she was holding.rose.thorns and really it didnt hurt much, although.her facial expression told a different.story. After a while.her hands felt heavy with thw orb weighing over a ton of bricks

As soon as Irena held the orb, Galen set to his task. His eyes began to glow a vibrant blue as his consciousness transferred into the orb. As the Queen absorbed it, he felt every fiber of her being as his energy seeped through her body. Once established, he searched for specific magical signatures left by seals. He had to find every single one of them before he started the task of undoing them, or else he would risk making a lethal mistake. Even without making a single mistake, Irena would be experiencing the pain of each and every seal unlocked… and there were hundreds.
These seals were added and passed from generation to generation, making the gift more and more powerful with each seal added. More powerful, and more uncontrollable. Only by becoming one with the power could a changeling hope to control their transformations, and each seal was an obstacle they had to overcome. Not only did they have to unlock all of them, but they had to do so in a specific order, or else they’d release too much of their own energy at once, killing them instantly. On top of that, the changeling has to withstand the building pressure of each seal, until the final one, anchored to the heart and mind, was released, granting them full control of their transformative powers.
This final seal, however, was not in his ability to fully open. He could unbar the door, but the changeling themselves must push it open. To do this they must have a clear mind and must truly forgive themselves for whatever their transformation might have made them do in the past… and they must be at peace in their hearts. No jealousy or hatred may be harbored there for the seal to be undone.

Irena new it will take a long time for it to work but she was happy It was slowly. " when do i let go?" her face turned red and her eyes watered a bit the pressure was getting to be unbearable " what is this going to accomplish?" It hurt worse than anything she had ever felt before, even with his spell it felt like her mussels were failing her.

The blue glow faded from his eyes. It was done.
"I've done all I can. You have to do the rest. Feel the energy flow inside you. Direct it to your heart and to your mind. Keep concentrating on those two points and the pain should fade.

"I'll leave you here to recover... If you need me, just think of me and call my name. I will sense it and come back. Rest now."

Isaiah stared at the cliff in front of the cliff and grinned. He ushered Midas to give it his all and the stallion happily agreed, pushing forth as fast as he possibly.could. They drew next to Lorelei and Freya. He gave a nod and a grin before they barreled past.

Lorelai knew she wouldn't win but she harbored a secret pride in knowing she came close. Freya followed Midas off the cliff, only a few feet behind before her opponents took the win. The mare snorted, shuffling too and fro as if irritated by the loss. "You have my congratulations Isiah." Lorelai's hair was windblown, the intricate braids that kept the thick of it back were mess. "A prize, for your winning!" She laughed, pulling off her ribbon, allowing her hair to be freed, and tossing it to the knight while picking up the side of her dress like a curtsy. "A gift, from the bastard princess!" Lorelai laughed a laugh so free and full that she felt that she'd float away. Lori was well aware of what she was and she never really cared, but she never dared to make a jest of it while inside the castle. She leaned down and hugged she neck of the mare, still giggling like a fool.

Isaiah caught the ribbon and smiled. He was truly glad to see the princess in such high spirits even about her position. "You honor me milady! I can now claim my title as the greatest knight in these lands with this!" He tied the ribbon around right wrist and laughed a laugh that was unusual for his normally stoic self. Midas was braying and stomping around to signify his victory, causing Isaiah to laugh harder. "I must thank you princess this has been...therapeutic in a way."

"You are quite welcome." Lorelai said before climbing off Freya. The horse drank from the creek. "It's good to laugh. I feel it is the best type of medicine." She pushed her hair back in vain but it flopped back onto her shoulders and closely framing her face. "Especially after all that's happened. "

Dragomir looked at Flair suspiciously "What are you not telling me? And before you open your mouth dont even think about lying young lady"

Flair glared "I dont know to what you are referring to.." She mumbled and looked away quickly for she knew hed know she was lying. His tone made her quiver with fear but was curious to what hed do to her.
