Well we submitted our apps around the same time and I thought the GM was still active, it wasn't really my place. Also he's a medic so he's more focused on medicine and support than fighting, sneaking and general zombie apocalypse skills.

It isn't just loss of hearing in one ear. He was trained with an emphasis in CQC, more so than anything else, and he's more proficient with small arms than rifles.

Edit: but if you're full up on military, I'd like to do a guy who knows a lot about torture. How to do it, human anatomy, that sort of thing.

An x military guy that needs a hearing aid Is alot more powerfull than an old, guilt burdened guy who has little to no purpose. Make a unique charecter that follows the rules, or find anougher rp. We are already fairly relaxed on the rules in my opinion...

As for the torture guy, when have you ever met a guy that is specialised in torture? The more believable your chareter, the more believable your posts. I dont want this to sound harsh, but it's whats best for the rp. (This is not a democracy anymore...)

So ex-military is out, torturer is out.....let me seriously think about this. Someone with zero security skills at all, someone who had to change who he was in order to survive. What about an ex-veterinarian?

I love how democracy is working here as this is actually less myself an Guy than it is a group consensus
I could see a Veterinarian as a character or if you still want a military type a 1 tour rancher or hand and please no Spec Ops types

Oh and while it seems I'm the elected GM I'd like to point out that Karen isn't, she's jusst a woman paranoid about getting stranded by a break down, blocked by a traffic jam, hit by a herd or ambushed by Wacks or maruaders. I will bow to the unit vote on transportation

Just do whatever you want with your character, but of its boring, or cliche then you will probably have to change it. I havent seen you rp before, so I dont know if your likely to do this or not. Im just speaking out of experience from past rp's, and military characters are always a little risky...
